Cajun Shrimp Wonton Bites
I love these little wonton wrappers! There are so many different options to make with them! Here’s a spicy seafood take on the Wonton Taco Bites I posted last week.
1lb pre-cooked shrimp
Mini Wonton Wrappers
Shredded Mexican Cheese Blend
2-3 garlic cloves –minced
Juice from 1 lime
½ Tbs Cajun seasoning
¼ tsp chili powder
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
Start by cutting the tails off the shrimp and putting them in small bowl. Squirt lime juice over shrimp and let them marinate while you’re prepping the rest of the items.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix Cajun seasoning, chili powder, and cayenne pepper together in a small bowl. Drop shrimp into a zip-lock bag, slowly add seasoning while tossing shrimp. Seal bag and continue to shake until shrimp is evenly coated.
Place a wonton wrapper in each muffin cup; add shrimp, minced garlic, and then top with shredded cheese. Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
Once they’re done baking, top with vegetables and sour cream. Enjoy!
