Nothing too exciting to report about the past week. It’s been a lot of coffee drinking and rainy days for the most part.
We have been hitting the gym pretty hard lately to get in shape after our 3 or 4 month hiatus and over indulging at Thanksgiving and I must say… it sucks! I hate working out!I don’t enjoy running, jumping, or lifting anything besides a beer to my mouth! Do I want to get in shape? Yes! Will I push through everything I dislike to get in shape? I suppose…
I’m not normally one to rant, but I just want to be honest with you guys and myself about the whole matter. You see so many people get on fitness kicks and try to fool you into thinking they love to “feel the burn!” They blab and brag about each time they’re at the gym and exactly what they’re doing while they’re there. I’m sorry but if I said, you have the option of snuggling up on the couch, while watching Vampire Diaries (ohhh Ian Somerhalder!), enjoying a pint of Ben and Jerry’s Half Baked ice cream versus an hour at the gym, sweating, red-faced, and gasping for breath, while some meat head with bacne maintains eye contact with you while lifting weights, which would you pick?!
