Orange Strawberry Smoothie
I’m a girl that rarely skips her morning coffee.. it usually means a day of unpleasantness for myself and those around me, so I was surprised to find that after this smoothie, I didn’t need it! I felt energized and ready to take on anything! A threw in a handful of spinach to add some protein to the mix which makes it a great morning or after-workout drink! Try it out for yourselves!
2 navel oranges, peeled and cut into slices
1 cup strawberries, hulled and cut in half
1 cup fresh spinach
1 banana, sliced
A handful of ice cubes
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor (place spinach on the bottom for easier processing) and puree until smooth and you don’t hear ice chunks hitting the blades anymore.
Pour into glasses and serve right away!
