For me, this cocktail tastes like the adult version of trick-or-treating, but better! It’s festive, sweet, and you’ll have more than just a sugar buzz! Make a big batch for your next Halloween party and celebrate the grown-up way without trudging from door to door just to get one! 😉
For Candy Corn Infused Vodka:
1 cup vodka
½ cup crushed candy corns
(1.) Place candy corns in a zip-lock bag and crush with a glass or jar. (2.) Combine vodka and candy corns in a large canning jar and seal. (3.) Let the candy corns infuse the vodka for 3-5 hours. (4.) Swirl the vodka around before using. The candy corns should be stuck to the bottom and the vodka should be a bright orange.
(makes 2 martinis)
Juice from half a lemon, plus a wedge to rim the glasses
2 Tbs sugar
2oz Triple Sec
4oz Candy corn infused vodka
Extra candy corns for garnish
Take a lemon wedge and run it around the rims of two martini glasses. Place sugar in a shallow dish or plate and run the edges of the glasses through the sugar until completely coated.
Combine lemon juice, triple sec, and candy corn infused vodka in a cocktail shaker. Add a handful of ice and shake well. Strain into glasses, drop a few extra candy corns into the bottom, and serve right away!
