First of all I would like to say, Happy Early Thanksgiving!
We had fifteen friends over on Sunday for our annual Friendsgiving and it went great.. for the most part! I forgot the stuffing last minute and also could have used a second oven, but luckily everyone was able to stay entertained with good company and boozy punch until I got the food to the table! Sailor Jerry Rum was of course a main ingredient in most of my dishes! I wish I had more photos for you, but playing hostess and cook kept me pretty busy! I captured a few before everyone got there and I’ll be honest.. I’m still not convinced this is a turkey neck! 😉
I’m sure you remember me talking about how the tattoo urge had struck again and last Thursday we spend about 8 hours on a thigh piece. I must say that I’m looking forward to being able to walk without a limp and sleep on my left side again. I severely underestimated how sensitive my hip and thigh were! I’m only sharing sneak peeks here and there until it’s finished completely, so we’ll get back into it a few weeks from now.
I also wanted to share with you all that I’ll be a blog-contributor at InkSpired Magazine! They’ve really captured the tattoo world and lifestyle and I’m looking forward to working with them! Give them a follow on Instagram or become a fan on Facebook!
Whether you’re having a big family get-together, a Friendsgiving, or feasting solo, remember to find at least one thing to be grateful for and be grateful for it year round, not just for one day.
