Tattooed Martha - Daily Life 80

I thought this whole ‘mercury in retrograde’ thing was supposed to be over, but it seems for me it’s just beginning! I’ve had quite a few failures in the kitchen lately, I can’t seem to get caught up, and yesterday I spent my morning sleeping on the bathroom floor curled in a ball. I’m feeling a lot better today, but I’m still taking it easy and as you can see, Punk has been at my side through it all. Maybe I need to meditate or ‘realign my chakras’ (can that be done online?). I just want to say thank you for your understanding while I’m in recovery mode and trying to get things back on track.

Anyone else feeling a bit off or suffering from the winter blues?

Yes … here in Iowa, I am feeling blah, blue and cold. Yesterday I finally put on another hoodie over the one I had on and put both hoods up. We had light snow all day, just an inch to brighten the landscape, but not lighten the mood. I crawl in bed every now and again to warm up and snooze. Winter can be rattling. We may be in for icy rains next and I’m thinking about camping out in bed. I don’t cook when I am like this. Just oatmeal, hot herbal tea and fruit. Hope you feel better.

Everyone I know here on the east coast is suffering from the winter blues as well! We’re getting very stir-crazy, but thankfully not sick! I hope you feel better soon!

I’m not sure, does existential crisis count?! Ok I overstate… But yep, I hear ya. Can’t seem to get anything right lately! Though, I think…I hope… It’s passing. Hang in there.
