Well summer has officially started here in the Pacific Northwest! We went from 50’s and rain to a sweltering 97 degrees F yesterday. We escaped the heat by heading to the coast to go for a swim, taunt seagulls, and have a little picnic. If you read my Tattoosday post from yesterday than you know I made sure to lather up in sunscreen about every hour! We also finalized a Plan A and Plan B ceremony spot at Hug Point and a few other details before the big day.. 10 days and counting!

I’ve been consumed with seating arrangements and reception details all morning, but getting these small details ironed out makes me feel slightly better about the whole thing. I still have a mile long to do list, but I’m hanging in there and working through it as best as I can! I appreciate all the encouraging comments, emails, and advice I’ve been receiving from you all during this exciting and chaotic time! Keep em’ coming! 😉

Now for the technical stuff.. Last week I was dealing with an issue on the blog that would redirect mobile users to a third party website. The issue came from a plug-in on the blog that has now been removed. I just wanted to assure everyone that my site was not compromised in any way and I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this caused. If you ever experience any issues when accessing my site, please alert me right away so I can quickly resolve it. Thank you for your understanding and patience!

We’re not doing anything big on the fourth, but we are throwing a 5th of July Luau at our place this weekend, so Portland people.. you are more than welcome to join! 🙂

How will you be celebrating this weekend?

Still jealous of how close you are to such an awesome beach! ^_^ And what a great spot for a wedding – sending lots of good thoughts and wishes your way for a great day!!

Also, love that you’re throwing a party the week before the wedding, haha!! Hope it’s lots of fun! We’ll be spending the 4th with friends, and then the 5th with my family! My husband and my brother’s birthdays are both in July, so we’re using the gathering as a multitasker for both birthdays and the holiday! ^_^

Hey there – tried to email you just now and got a ‘delivery failure’ notice – twice! Not sure what’s up with that! Maybe your inbox is full??

It has been like that weather wise in Spokane too, wet and cool and then holy moly hot! The location for your ceremony looks beautiful!

We took our kids to see the fourth of July fireworks, which they adored, the otherwise my spouse work so the kids and I just had a quiet normal weekend at home otherwise.
