Daily Life

Today I woke up to dark skies, rain, and a feeling that it was fall already. I was half asleep and thinking.. I need to bake pumpkin bread and start decorating for Halloween! I think I can hold off until August before I actually do. I blame it on being a blogger and always living a month ahead so we can have seasonal posts ready to go ahead of time.. and also because I geek out when it comes to Halloween!

It’s been a week and a half since we’ve been married now and I think the question most asked (aside from when we plan on having some bacon bits) is, “Do you feel any different?!” The answer is yes.. and no. We’re both being that really annoying couple that calls each other Mr. and Mrs. Erickson and now that the weight of the wedding has been lifted, we’re a lot happier and stress-free. We’ve also been enjoying going out on dates again (see above), but since we’ve been living together for the past 2 and a half years and dating for almost 3.. we already felt like we were married! We’re just ready to kick some butt together and see what the future has in store for us!

This was me running around a cliff wall after getting hit with high tides, yelling a few profanities, and trying not to flash the photographers! Haha

Speaking of which.. we get to see our wedding photos today! I’ll be putting together a special post to share some of them and tell you about all the craziness that happened that day. Even though the wedding is over, life isn’t showing any signs of slowing down! We’re getting prepared for the Hell City Tattoo Festival in Phoenix next month.. come by and say hello if you’re in the area! I’d love to meet you! And I’m taking on a few more projects that I hope lead to some exciting opportunities!

Ok….what are the dates of Hell City Tattoo Festival? I haven’t seen any advertisements yet. Would love to see you both.

Haha, aww – I’m getting antsy for Fall too! My favorite spot for Halloween geekery is http://dinosaurdracula.com/ who runs a Halloween Countdown every year. Reading that has become tradition! It’s starting August 30th, so I’m psyched! Also super excited to see what fun and festive things you get up to this year!

Also can’t wait to hear all about the wedding! I know what you mean about not feeling a lot different. My husband and I live together for about six months before we were married, so we’d already gotten into the domesticated routine, haha! It’s still really fun getting to refer to him as “my husband” though! ^_~

I think the end of August was when I started putting up our Halloween decorations last year! I’m trying so hard not to decorate, but I’m already seeing stuff in stores!

ALSO! Love that you call future kids “bacon bits” – I missed that on the first read and cracked up when I saw it!

Haha it’s the ongoing joke with Josh’s nickname being Bacon. Little piggies, bacon bits, little porkers.. etc.. haha
