You might have noticed I took a bit of a break last week. Life has been throwing me some ups and downs lately, but everything seems to be settling down and I’m seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. I appreciate everyone’s concern and patience in allowing me a much needed break. I especially appreciate the love and support from my husband.. and of course, Punky snuggles make anything better! 😉

Now that that’s out of the way I can share some good news with you! In case you missed my posts yesterday, I’ll be taking over the Sailor Jerry Instagram this weekend and sharing photos from our camping adventure! The Flamingo Tribune is a great new rockabilly lifestyle blog started by an amazing husband and wife duo, Stefano and Bridgette. They’ll be covering everything from music, cars, fashion, home design, food, and everything else that embodies the rockabilly culture.

A few weeks ago my good friend, Britnee, made the trek from Iowa to Oregon to move here permanently. She’ll be staying with us for a few more weeks and I can honestly say I’ll miss having her here as a roommate. We’ve been having a blast and she’s been very uplifting and encouraging on my not-so-great days.

That’s all I have for you guys today because I’ve got a mountain of projects and posts to work through! I’m going to be starting some fun Halloween crafts this week so stay tuned for those and be sure to check back tomorrow for a brand new mouthwatering recipe!
