A lot happens in just one month!
As if life couldn’t get any busier, I accepted a promotion at work which means a lot more hours and I’m constantly jumping between day and night shifts. It’s left me physically exhausted, but I’m trying to utilize any free time I have to work on blog projects. It’s not easy when you’re delirious and want nothing more than to go to bed at 7:30pm (which I totally did the other night), but I’m making it work. Josh has also been extremely busy tattooing this month and is flying out to Denver tomorrow to tattoo for a week at Marion Street Tattoo. If you’re in the area, head over there and get tattooed!
Another today on @noregrets_justmistakes. She’s bound and determined to finish this classic horror sleeve out asap! #classichorror #wolfman #bacon_tattoos #tattoosbybacon #tattoos #tattoosofIG #tattooartistmagazine #cheyennetattooequipment #inkjectav2 #oldgoldsmallbatch #fusionink #coalitiontattoosupply #uprightindustries #portland #pdx #rosecity #portlandtattooers #colorbomb #rosecitysupply #superbtattoos #tattoooftheday
Before the chaotic schedules began we were able to get away to our favorite camping spot at Blue River Reservoir. Our friends met up with us and we all hit the road early Saturday morning to make the most of the weekend. I made a huge batch of my Chicken Pot Pie Soup which we all devoured before the end of the night. Our friends left a little earlier the next day so Josh and I hung back and explored up the creek. We found a great spot in the middle of the stream on top of some huge mossy boulders to have a picnic and read. It was some much needed time in nature to recharge before heading back into a busy schedule. It was really tough to pack up and head back to the city, but I must say I always come back with a much bigger appreciation for toilets!
