Hey everyone! My name is Rebekah Hubbard and I write the food blog PDXfoodlove. It is my first post here on Tattooed Martha, so I thought I would introduce myself a little.
I live in Portland, in a cute bungalow that is about to become a much bigger bungalow, because we are nearing completion on a basement remodel! Yay! I am an avid gardener – I actually have completed Master Gardener training. And of course, I love to eat and cook.
My food blog started in 2011 or so, when I was working a job that didn’t really stretch my creative skills. I needed an outlet. So I started writing about what my hubby and I were making for dinner. Some of my photos from those days are not great, haha. I’ve come a long way.
Lately I’ve been focusing on recipes that use the bounty of fresh produce that comes in the summer, and especially on cocktails. It’s my favorite thing to get home from a busy day and mix myself up a delicious drink. So much the better if it uses fresh fruity flavors!
Today I’m sharing a recipe that I think really shows off my favorite way to eat and drink. It’s fresh, it uses seasonal fruit, and it’s EASY. Cheers!
