Bought this piece because of the reviews online. They were pretty spot on so far. The curls are very bouncy, pretty, and full. I have only worn her once and received lots of compliments. My only qualm is the amount of hair. I had to do a little thinning before I felt it looked good. But even though there is a lot of hair, the piece is very light weight which has been true to other reviews. I don't use the combs but it has ample head room, big head friendly; and comes with a long comb up front and a smaller one in back along with two adjustable straps, pretty standard these days. I didn't do much fluffing of the curls because one that I cut out, I pulled it loose and separated it. The bouncy curl really pulled out to a loose wave. I won't mind that after a few more wears. The color was spot on to my hair color. I bought a #2. After wearing the half wig, I wish I had gotten the full wig instead. I just think the curls, after they drop or are pulled out, will be nicer on the full wig. It was a great purchase thus far and I do recommend it especially for those that have the creativity to do many styles with a half wig. I actually purchased some #2 braid hair, braided a long section, then used it as a braided head band over the front of the piece. Hopefully I can get some good, long wear out of is but that is TBD. Will try later to add photo if possible. Gotta get my beat on. LOLWendy A.

This is a great wig. I haven't experienced any shedding. I have a 23.5 circumference head. The wig fits like a standard wig. I've worn it for over a week and it's kept its integrity. I only had to use my fingers to detangle the hair at the nape of my neck. I will use flex rods when need be. Whats really refreshing is the texture. Its organic looking. I love this half wig so much that I've purchased it twice! It blends so well with my natural texture. It's so soft and curly. There's an adjustable strap at the back, plus, a comb at the front and one at the back. I simply part a section of hair at the front of my head from ear to ear and French braid the rest to the back. Clip in the half wig, place a couple Bobby pins along the edge for added security, and blend the section I've parted at the front. 10-15 minutes from start to finish.jewel.n

I absolutely love this hair. As far as texture, it looks and feels so natural. All I had to do to my leave out was a twistout using my loreal conditioner and my argon oil ecostyler gel. Now, I will say that the only thing I had to do to this wig is shape it. It came a little too long for my taste and the bottom layer just looked too out of place for my liking. I model and can’t tell you how many gigs this has gotten me. I shaved my hair last year and it turned out not to be the best decision for work— go figure. Every time I book a gig, I’m told- bring your wig lol. I get endless compliments on my hair; and because of the bangs, it’s believable and I don’t have to worry about the part or glueing.. it’s fabulous. Takes a second and I’m out the door. It does get messy after probably about 15 uses, but the messier.. the more believable. I’ve been using mine for about 8/9 months regularly (worn maybe 70 times). Just wore it yesterday for an expensive photoshoot. Ordering 4 more now since I’m in Australia. Can’t afford to wait too long for the next one. Received my JC Natural Afro Leon yesterday and I am VERY satisfied! It looks smaller when removing from packaging but a little shaking before putting on and then using just my fingers to shape/fluff out…YES! BIG HAIR! I love the fact that the older it gets and the more you fluff, it'll get bigger!! I'm a big hair girl! LOL! I got the color 2 and it is a true 2; I wanted the caramel but it was out of stock. The hair is soft, no smell, curls and texture is what I've been looking for; I've made several of my own units that resemble Leon but couldn't pass up the price!! Now, be advised, if you're a "big head" girl the fit is snug. I've had no headache and it hasn't moved. Also, I'd resist trimming until you've worn it for awhile if you're a person that does trim right out the pack. I won't be trimming because I wanted the Afro style with big hair/bangs. Will definitely be ordering another in the color 2 and also going for the caramel! Shipping was great: notified Fri, Sept 2nd caramel was out of stock chose color 2 and it was shipped out that same day! Received Tues, Sept 6th the day after Labor Day!Sharon S.
