I only wear Jon Renau wigs, have purchased mostly bobs, and have been happy with their quality and consistency through the years. That being said, Alison was a huge disappointment to me for these reasons: 1. The color 32F, that I always purchase was NOT THE SAME that all the other wigs that I have purchased in that color. 2. The style was VERY STRAIGHT and did not turn in as the photos showed on the models. 3. The implantation was VERY SPARSE and the wig is very flat on the head.Rebecca
I ordered Alison in color 27T613F, Toasted Marshmallow. I have multiple Jon Renau wigs in this color and was excited to have a lob wig in my collection. However, I must return Alison. She is definitely much different that shown in the pictures. I had multiple issues with her. #1 – She is an EXTREMELY low density wig. One slight breeze and the wefting would be exposed. I actually thought I received a defective wig, the hair was so sparse. #2 – Alison is STRAIGHT. The ends do not turn in as shown in the manufacturer's photos. She was definitely styled by Jon Renau on the models with quite a bit of product. I don't mind stick straight but based on the pictures I was expecting otherwise. #3 – The lace front (which is normally stellar on JR wigs) was stretched out and would not lay flat on my forehead. I've never had this issue with any JR wigs. #4 – The "bump" at the back of the head to give it the only bit of volume would not lie flat on my head either. It basically gave my head a cone shape. Overall I was highly disappointed in the Alison wig. I had been looking forward to a new lob.Jill T.

I purchased the Jessica wig because it looked so natural. The color Walnut Syrup was true to the picture shown. It fits very comfortably and the curls are soft and layered to perfection. This Jessica wig is my favorite so far. I also bought 2 other wigs from Vogue in the same month. They too are lovely. All 3 are so pretty. I decided to have 3 different styles to suit my mood. This is the first time in my life I have turned to wigs. I will be starting chemotherapy and I wanted to be prepared. I feel I made a great choice going with Vogue wigs as there were so many other's to chose from. I will be getting more wigs and I will stick with Vogue, as there customer service is so pleasant and easy to work with and I love the wigs I have gotten so far. The Jessica by Jon Renau is a beautiful wig. She is light weight, long in length, has soft wavy bouncy layers. Jessica also has bangs, which I love, and it is getting difficult to find a wig with features I look good in. I chose the color Raspberry Syrup and was not disappointed! I typically wear blonde shades as that is closest to my hair color. I took a chance on this one but was very pleased with how the color Raspberry Syrup looks on me. It has red tones in it as well as a light blonde too. It is quite striking and well blended. I was able to wear Jessica straight out of the box with very little "fixing". I prefer a somewhat messy, wild look so left her pretty much alone other than a good shaking before trying on. I really love this one and Vogue was quick to ship her out. The Jon Renau “Jessica” wig is fantastic! I have been wearing wigs for a long time & this one stays as one of my favorites! The length is right below my shoulders & the curl is soft & loose – The overall look is very realistic! I always shampoo & spray leave-in conditioner about every 10 to 12 times of wear – After the wig has had some longtime wear, I shampoo/leave-in condition &, very carefully, follow with short sponge spiral curlers overnight – This will hold for several weeks & you do not ever have the dryness or frizziness! My current “Jessica” is six months old, still looks great & I receive many, many compliments! I walked in a different wig store recently & they thought this was my natural hair – They told me later that when I first walked in, they thought my hair was natural & they wondered why in the world I would be in the market for a wig since my natural hair was so pretty & full – They were blown away when I told them I was wearing my wig & that it was six months old! When I saw a picture of this wig, I thought to myself "finally!" This is the style I have been looking for for a while, short, straight, not too much hair, an Ignite but with a longer back. Unfortunately, this wig has a very small cap. It cannot possibly be average size. Average size fits usually lose on my head and this wig I could barely squeeze on. Secondly, it has no lace front. I am too used by now to wearing a lace front monofilament to feel comfortable wearing a wig without. I guess this is what you get for the price. The color and the fibers were great, but I had to return mainly because the cap was far too small.Mimi
The biggest problem I found with this wig was the fit. Average was too big, but petite felt too small. I have a Goldilocks size head and I found the ear tabs on the petite were way too high on my temples, but the front and back fit ok. I bought it on sale and thought I would take a risk even if it wasn’t perfect (and it’s not). The hair itself is good quality and appears to be well made and the style is very cute. I only wish there was a better way to buy wigs other than to pay upfront for an online item, only to find out it’s not quite right. It seems if you can try on hairstyles virtually, there should be a way to try on wigs virtually. If you could upload a photo or enter the dimensions of your head and then try on virtually, you can get an idea of where the ear tabs will fall, for example or how long the bangs will be. It would save a lot of time and money on returns. Eventually, someone will invent it, but until then, buying wigs online is a crapshoot. I prefer to buy locally, however most wig shops don’t carry a very large variety and if you buy the same wig through a wig shop, it will cost double.Vee B.
-1 star for how easily it tangles and sheds; I recommend wearing the hair down over updos because of it -1 star for how chunky highlights are at the part which are unconcealable +1 star for cap and hairline In my pics, I have not plucked the hairline, but I have straightened the wig and rearranged the part. The cap on this wig is definitely better quality than my cheaper amazon wigs (I like that it has velcro straps), but the hair itself both tangles and comes out more easily than my cheapy $30-50 wigs, which is unfortunate. I'd recommend not even bothering to try to do a half updo with this wig, which I'm personally disappointed by but that's okay, it looks good down. The lace came pre-cut, not sure if it was supposed to, but it fits perfectly and blends right into my pale skin, which is great. Hairline is great, pretty natural looking. I ordered the color FS4/33/30A Midnight Cocoa – the highlights are so chunky right up into the part (see pics). Doesn't matter which way you part it, you have giant stripes in your hair with this color (not too noticeable from straight on or from the side but I disapprove still haha). So I would NOT recommend the colors with highlights like this one, just get a solid color. So overall, I wish I got a different color, but that's on me. It's otherwise a pretty good wig and I would recommend it.Aubrey H.

This is such a great wig. It FITS! It looks natural. It was easy choosing the right color for me. The Vogue website is the best I found. And I researched them all. It's easy to get around. I was so excited to receive my Jazz Synthetic Wig by Jon Renau. When I put it on it was perfect. The hair color and cut is a perfect match to my own style. I put my curling iron away, forever. The best part is no one could tell it wasn't my own. It's so light weight and comfortable that I'm able to wear it all day. My friends online and had to get one for herself. Love love love it!
This cut reminds me of the Sally Hirshfield haircut famously worn by Meg Ryan! Super cute, super comfy…….and that's a plus since my head is 23 inches and finding a comfortable fit as well as a cute style is a nightmare. The color I ordered is shade 8H14 Mousse. I have had the best luck with Jon Renau. I find the colors very realistic with a broad choice. I fussed with her until I got it just "so". Tucked a bit behind my ears and a few crunches with the hairspray to give it a sexy, messy and sassy look. Very pleased. Also, the coverage is great which is important. I don't have to worry about tugging and worrying that others know my secret. Having ordered over 50 wigs in the past 3 years (Raquel Welch, Jon Renau, Hair U Wear, Rene Of Paris, Noriko)……this is tops! Pros Super comfy, very cute, sassy, sexy great colors! Lightweight since it's a O'Solite wig. Great coverage. Reminds me of the famous Meg Ryan haircut! Cons Just a tad bit poofy on top, but with some hairspray and scrunching it turns out perfect! Maybe order a mono top next time just to see the difference since it's offered in this style.
