Arrived via USPS in very good condition, with normal time frame for USPS. The wig was easy to put on and take off. There were instructions for all of my purchase. I lost my hair within 6 days due to chemotherapy, so the helpful instructions were appreciated. The wig was similar to the online photo, but less curly, and that was a slight disappointment. Since it had just arrived at my time of need I am very thankful for the purchase. I have ordered 2 more different styles with some additional accessories. Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita

Hi, I have been purchasing this Shannon wig for 8yrs now and have "Never" been dis-appointed! The Shannon wig is not only durable for daily wear and holds up very well wash after was it also, is my go to wig for a quick updo for special occasions!!! My color of choice is Wheat Rooted because I have fair skin and green eyes and boy does this rooted color make my eyes pop!!! For some reason unknown to doctors when I was just 24yrs old I lost all my hair over a span of 8 months and battling cervical cancer as well! As a young woman I was devastated and experiencing depression, chemo was brutal to say the least. I had a young family to raise and had to hold down a high pressure job where personal appearances mattered!!! So needless to say I was forced into buying those old fashioned bulky and ugly wigs. Then came the more natural looking wigs that were way over priced. All I can say is thank you Wig.com and Paula Young for making such durable cute and chic looking wigs at such affordable prices!!! You can stick your head near the oven when cooking, take a walk on a hot and or humid day, sunbathe etc..etc and all of these wigs will hold up to all of what I just mentioned! Of course don't forget to purchase the correct wig shampoo, wig spray conditioner and wig spray found on both Wig.com and Paula Young. These accessories are really very important for proper wig care!!! Also, if you can afford it please splurge on a good wig stand and wig travel case, which are also found on Wig com. Oh my gosh. I can now stop shopping for the wig that suits me in every way as I have found it in the Jamie Lynn! I have had short hair for almost 13 years and wanted something more youthful, easy to wear and comfortable. I have always wanted hair that was a beautiful blonde (mine is more dish-water blonde) but didn't want to spend the $ or the time at the hair salon. I am tired of short hair but not 100% comfortable in long hair as I am 62 years old (at least not to wear on a daily basis – nights out perhaps). I love this mid-length style and the layers are to-die-for! Girls, it is absolutely beautiful right out of the box; all I had to do was have my hairdresser trim the bangs a bit. I purchased the Wheat Rooted and it is so natural looking with swingy layers and beautiful highlights, and the dark roots add the natural look. My sister saw it for the first time and she was blown away! I have never worn wigs before and am approaching retirement, wanted to change my look a bit and have a simpler beauty routine. My first ever wig purchase was a bust! I was hopeful that I would love them (I bought 2) when they arrived. Very professional packaging. Once I gave the wig a little shake and let everything settle,i prepared to put on. My best friend orders your wigs all the time but hers are all a light brown or blonde and she recommended getting the “rooted” colors. Mine was flame rooted so I was expecting a deeper shade of red. This is a deep brown and black at the roots, which to me looks VERY unnatural. I’ve had auburn hair most of my life but never those kind of roots! I was borderline in sizing and know now that I should have ordered a large because even after adjusting the Velcro it still did not sit well on my head. I have this wig. I ordered it on Amazon, it came with a wig cap, and a rose gold colored earring set. Cheap thin metal earrings that I wouldn't wear in public and intact they are clip on that made there way to the kids dress up stuff. I didn't expect such quality for such a low priced wig. The hair is thick and bouncy. Love the rooted look! I trimmed some bangs into it and had some height styled into it at the roots (my hairdresser used a steamer to give it volume at the top) This is a very fun piece! Lots of compliments! I lost much of my hair before and after being diagnosed with systemic lupus and Sjorgrens (showgrins). I was at my wits end as to what to do as my hair looked so bad I wanted to crawl in to a corner and never come out. A friend from work said she buys her wigs from Forever Young so I decided it was worth a shot after looking at hundreds of wigs. I fell in love with the Honey Caramel Hollywood Honey wig. I own three, one of which I cut just passed shoulder length so I could wear it to work. I also cut full bangs in to all of them as I have always worn them. This wig is awesome! No one even knew I was wearing a wig and I received an incredible amount of compliments on my hair. I still have one in the box but am ordering another as I like to have extra on hand. So glad I found this gem of a wig. It gave me back my confidence, and took a few years off my looks!

Love the style and is so realistic and natural looking. Not shiny and fake. I've paid 3X more for a wig and wasn't as happy with then I am with the Urban Gypsy. My only complaint is that it is a a lot of hair and tends to get frizzy and all over the place, I used JON RENAU WIG LUSTERIZER and Biosilk and it works great calming it down and enhancing the waves so not frizzy looking. I love the wavy texture so haven't used any heat products on it to straighten it or curl it yet to test the heat friendliness. I am an everyday wearer and have worn for over a month and still just the same as the day I put on.

I used to love Forever Young wigs. They were practically the only wig I wore. And I wear them full time so I know my stuff. When I opened this box, I could not believe it. Thin, rough, hair that looks like a rats nest. And the length on these is absolutely inaccurate. I have no idea what happened to Forever Young, but this is the second disaster of a wig that I have purchased from them. Lesson learned. Something happened and they have lost their quality. Check the dates on the positive reviews here and you'll see that they are all several years old. Then there's Vouge Wigs return policy. By the time I make this return, I would have spent fully half of what I paid for them on shipping, charges and random fees. Go take a thorough look at their return policy. It's a mess, and the customer gets screwed. So goodbye Forever Young and Vogue Wigs. I miss your former quality.Holly
I bought this wig a long time ago and it sat in the box for a while. Finally pulled it out because my other curly wigs were just too hot this summer, and so glad I did. I get compliments all the time from people who have no idea it's a wig. I love seeing their shocked faces when I tell them. Anyway, the only reason it sat is bcs it's a bit shorter than I would like. I wish FY would make the exact same wig 2 inches longer. The curl is absolutely beautiful and matches my bio-hair curl. Very soft texture and good quality, no shedding. Holds curl without product so it stays soft and dry. No crunchy wet look. You can't beat this wig and definitely get more than you paid for. I trimmed the bangs a good 1/2 inch and that was it. I’m very happy with this wig considering how inexpensive it is. The cap is comfortable and fit my larger head with no issues. I do wish it had clips, but I can add those on my own. The curls are glamorous without looking too overdone, and the bangs help the wig look more natural by covering the hairline. The hair is extremely shiny so I added some dry shampoo powder. I ordered the Honey Blonde which was actually more of a orange with blonde highlights, but it is still attractive.Haley

I bought this unit as a back up peice to the one I love to wear everyday (Fashion Note). I wanted to try this one because it looked very similar to the one I wear daily (Fashion Note) and was a different fiber. I purchased color 24B/613 same as the other wig I have. Again, very pleased with the unit. It is much lighter than FN and it's a bit thinner, which for me is great because I am outside a lot in south Louisiana and it's hot as heck over here. Even though it is a thinner wig, the wefts and tracks do not show thru, so you do not have to work the hair or use hairspray on it. This wig is very shiny (due to the color I get) so a good vinegar/Dawn detergent soak cuts the shine tremendously. I also use dry shampoo spray which helps de-wigify the unit. Pros very light weight, not hot, great for daily use if you want no fuss hair. Cons hair is thin (Fashion Note is a very similar style and has more density)

Been buying Forever Young wigs off and on. They are a great price and good styles. However this time I noticed a huge improvement in the synthetic hair fiber. It was soft and silky and had great movement. I have other brands that are more expensive but this one is very close to being a contender. The **** cut is well done and I like the bangs which now people call fringe. This style will complement young and older people.
