The graphics are simple but high quality, and the characters have so much personality. It feels immersive and very relaxing. This is especially because the time in-game matches the current time, which removes any element of rushing that comes with times games. The game is suitable for playing in small bits everyday, which is perfect for busy people who want a bite-sized amount of game time. Absolutely love this game. If you've ever played the older game it definitely brings back nostalgic feelings. Plus they've added a new dlc that we've been playing non stop. Becoming a home decorator is what I loved in the game and with the new dlc its all about that. This game is great and definitely worth every penny. If you havent played it before you are a mayor of your own island. You get cute villagers, you get to catch bugs, fish, dig for fossils, have a museum, swim, decorate your house, etc. your goal is to get enough stars on your island by decorating your island however you like. I was a little scared at first to buy since there was no photo of the back side where the contacts are and I couldn't tell if there was any corrosion or not. But the game came in perfect condition!! The game is so nostalgic. The last time I had played Animal Crossing was City Folk on the Wii, and New Leaf has not failed to impress me. Perhaps even better than City Folk, it is such a relaxing and cheerful game as you are greeted by kind and thoughtful villagers who I am sure many form bonds with over the years! Size wise its very small for a manga; 120 pages. Expect to finish it in no time. Its very fast paced for the storyline; it is supposed to match the game. The characters display super crazy energy and makes it seem all over the place which is something I don’t like so far. Theres not really a rhyme or reason to the way villagers show up; its sudden and random. There is a lot of sarcasm and “smart comments” from Animal Crossing Villagers especially Tom Nook so be prepared. I wouldn’t consider it a children’s manga but a child might not understand the dialogue versus an adult. Do I like it? Yes and No but hoping Vol. 2 will be better. I like Animal Crossing so this is something Im willing to “give it a go” and keep reading.J

If you love designing houses in Animal Crossing, this game is certainly for you, but you might be just a little disappointed. The game challenges you to not only create houses based on a certain theme or furniture item, but you can also create hotels, schools, hospitals and more – which is a welcome and refreshing view on interior design for the AC series. You unlock furniture and clothing for your character throughout the game and you can always go back and redesign houses or special locations if you're not satisfied. With that said, I feel that the Amiibo reader for 3DS is a must for this game. With this extra accessory, you can add new and rare villagers (Isabelle, Sahara, and more) to your game to design houses for them. All, of course, need to be purchased separately and since this is such a big feature in the game, the core gameplay feels a bit short without these additional characters. I bought the Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer about 4 months ago shortly after the price dropped to $19.99 at my local Walmart store. I have Animal Crossing Wild World & Animal Crossing New Leaf. One thing I hope Nintendo would do is incorporate Animal Crossing Happy Home Designer game play with the Animal Crossing New Leaf, whereas the player can exchange items & homes between both games. The most frustrating thing I've seen in the Happy Home Designer reviews is people complaining that it's nothing like New Leaf. I feel these are people who must not have looked much into the game before it was released. It is not meant to be a normal Animal Crossing game, nor was it advertised that way. We are fans of Animal Crossing, so of course we had to get Amiibo Festival. The bundle is a series of games. Some are mini games. The main game is a board game through an Animal Crossing town during a calendar month. You choose the month every time you play. Some months have special days and special events like fishing tournaments. You go around the game board collecting happiness and money. There are event days with spaces including characters from Animal Crossing like Crazy Redd the fox, and Dr. Shrunk the comedian. You can try your hand playing the Stalk Market every Sunday by buying and later selling turnips. Each Amiibo character (purchased separately) you play with gains levels and new outfits. Isabelle and Digby come with the set. My family added Tom Nook, Mabel, KK Slider, Kicks (the skunk) Reese and Cyrus (the llamas) and have enjoyed game play with all of them. With the Animal Crossing Amiibo cards (sold separately) you can add new characters to your town and they will even roll the dice for you. The game can be timed for as long as you choose or play through the entire month. Age level is 8+, but with some help my 5 year old grandson enjoys playing.deedeehun
I wouldn’t recommend this game. In my opinion, it’s a waste of money. It’s basically just Mario Party but with Animal Crossing characters and without the mini games. All you do is roll your dice and then it switches to the next player. If you’re trying to collect all the Animal Crossing games, sure, purchase it. But, if you’re looking for a game to entertain your family and friends, do not buy this game.topanga.o
Animal crossing amiibo festival is a charming little that can keep any fan of the series busy. Positives: – Charming style just like other animal crossing games. – Plenty to unlock. – Cute outfits for your amiibo's. – Great little mini games. – The random events add a nice bit of variety to the board game. – Cheerful sound track. Negatives – The board game is to much dependant on luck, you roll your dice and thats what you get, the cards you get from events are great but you still have to be lucky to land on those tiles to start with, if they started you each with 1 card it would have been a bit better. – Unlocking everything will take a while which means playing a lot of the board game mode, it would have been better if the mini game's would have added more to the progress bar. -not all amiibos are compatible, only animal crossing ones which is a huge missed opportunity. Overall I would say that it's worth a purchase if you can get it cheap with the amiibo's. Only play in short bursts or intersperse the board game with mini games to avoid frustration. I was a little scared at first to buy since there was no photo of the back side where the contacts are and I couldn't tell if there was any corrosion or not. But the game came in perfect condition!! I now own two copies of this game. I love it! The game came with the welcome amibo card as well still wrapped! The saddest thing however was that someone's town was still loaded up! I strolled through the old town of EvrShade with Jazmine and co. and got it appraised by Nook for 7mil. I am very happy with my purchase and look forward to doing business will y'all again! The game is so nostalgic. The last time I had played Animal Crossing was City Folk on the Wii, and New Leaf has not failed to impress me. Perhaps even better than City Folk, it is such a relaxing and cheerful game as you are greeted by kind and thoughtful villagers who I am sure many form bonds with over the years! Id say this game is absolutely superb, no wonder the franchise for Animal Crossing has always been so enormous and continuous. I truly look forward to New Horizons after this.leedod0
