I will have to be happy with my nice n easy hair coloring. The wig I received today was Not the Color I ordered or not even the correct product. I am showing a lot of gray and I purchased the bob hairdo in a brow color. I got a wig that has more gray in it than my own hair. The wig also has some sort of a white cotton cap sewn into the inside of the wig. Not once did I see any of the models or the hosts that were trying on wigs show this white cap on the inside of the wig. My wig did not come with the nylon head cap that all of the models were wearing. I have heard of bait and switch but now I have experienced it. This wig will be returned. I have never worn a wig before, but due to some health issues the past year, my hair has become very thin, which is very disheartening to say the least. Now why would they put a white liner, and I know it was done for sanitary reasons, inside the wig making it so difficult to try it on. If you do remove the liner, it can't be returned which makes it even more frustrating. Very poor policy QVC and hairdo! Also, it stated in the presentation you would receive a "wig cap" and even says that in the description for the product, but I did not receive one, why not? I will probably keep my wig because I do like the style and the color, but I'm still not sure of the fit. I have close to 20 wigs. Purchased the Graceful Bob in Medium Brown/Gold. Stunning cut. This is my first Hairdo purchase and I had concerns about the color being too dark, would it look too wiggy? There was a drum roll when I opened my box and I was pleasantly surprised. NO issues. Lovely soft brown with highlights and not wiggy at all. When I put it on there is a white paper/cloth like lining. I had never seen that before but moved forward with putting it on. I like it and will keep it but the bangs were a little long so I carefully trimmed them. Not concerned because I do that all the time. So, perfection….. Now lets look at this lining. It is paper like and carefully tears out where there is a little stitch. OK so makes sense these days for added protection. Caution … That paper cap adds bulk when trying on the wig. So much so I had to trim more off my bangs because the wig fit much better. So, to those of you that think it is too tight it may be the paper inside. I think the hosts do need to mention that in the presentation. If they have I missed it. The color was very true to the display presentation with all the wigs lined up. I like Grace. She is hand tied, envy hair is super soft and easy to care for. No lace front, but with the bangs you really don’t need one. I did need to train the bangs to stay out of my face… a small flat iron on low worked well. The style out of the box did remind me a little of “Mrs Brady” hair (think 60s ****) but again a little styling on low heat to help layers to hang straight did wonders. This wig has enough hair, but not too much. Super thick wigs do not look real in my opinion. Grace looks very natural. The mono top is especially nice and the part looks good without any plucking. Not a lot of info out there about this style, but I am very happy with it. Color I bought is sparkling champagne, very pretty blonde with subtle darker roots.

I bought this wig because it was a synthetic/ human hair blend and I thought it would last longer than a regular synthetic wig but boy was I wrong. I started wearing this wig on January 17th 2022 and it didn't even last a month before the nape started getting frizzy and sticking up in the back ( total give away that your wearing a wig) I really had high hopes for this one but was horribly disappointed! The hair on the top of the wig is lovely but Envy put cheap, horrible synthetic hair at the nape. You would think they would have learned a few things by now & would put human hair at the nape. This Emma wig didn't even last as long as a regular synthetic and was much more expensive. Take it from me ladies, I have been wearing wigs every day for the last 6 years and this wig is one of the worst I have ever had…save your money and just buy a synthetic wig.Laura S.
My bio hair is very curly, so when I saw Kaitlyn I knew I had to try her out. The trouble with this style is that the curl pattern/tightness/density DOES vary from piece to piece, so if you don't like the piece you receive, send it back for a different one. I wish I could have done that with mine – it was likely a return, and I can see why: the curls are loose and droopy and sad and sporadic. Sadly, it's a closeout item, so I'm stuck with my decision. (Absolutely NO shade to WigStudio1 – they're fabulous. This is all on me.) I'm going to wash her and see if that will perk up the curl pattern, and if it doesn't, there's always headbands! Purchased in chocolate caramel as you see in the photos. I’m a natural dark brunette and it works perfect. I also have a 23 inch head and this still fit me since the cap has a nice stretch. Stays on perfect with a velvet wig grip. Love the natural looking curls, the windblown messy look, and the sort of ***** nature of this wig. The short pixie back is a little different than what I’m used to since I’ve never had a wig that is short in the back and long on top. It takes a little getting used to. Overall I can say it’s comfortable, looks natural, and is super fun. Not sure I would do this as an every day wig but with these curly wigs they are great for a fun night out, a weekend ball game, that kind of thing. Well, I finally learned my lesson. I cannot purchase clearance items any longer since every time I have, there has been something either wrong with the wig (manufacturing) or something I didn't like and there are no returns. There wasn't anything wrong with this piece. She just had way too much hair and the fibers were so dry they were like straw. It is a beautiful warm color but the density, the permatease and the dry fibers made this difficult to pull off. I thinned it out and tried to tame the permatease but it just didn't work. Plus, the fibers were like doll hair and so that was a dead giveaway. This was the third JR piece and all have pretty dry fibers. Is this normal? I did receive the piece quickly and as always WS1 is around to answer any questions.E.N.
I am a first time buyer, trying to figure out what fits and how to wear the wigs. I ordered 3 wigs in this first order, and two of them I can adjust and work with. But "Gwen" has very short hair and it looks nothing like the pictures! I had it on my head for a few seconds and couldn't stand the very short hair with no shape at all. It looked like a hedgehog, The color is nice, but this wig is too small, too short hair for my plus size figure: Gwen Wig by Jon Renau STRAWBERRY BLONDE AND WARM PLATINUM BLONDE BLENDED & TIPPED W STRAWBERRY BLONDE NAPE (27T613F). In all fairness, I only had it on my head a few seconds and took it off right away, I didn't try to make it look better, afraid to ruin the chance for return. It might be ok for someone else, but at 62 yrs old and plus size figure, that little wig was not even funny! I filled out the return label for "Gwen" but keeping the other two, with medium length hair: "Blushing Beauty" Wig by Gabor | Mono Part GL16/27 and the "Salsa" Wig by Raquel Welch | Large Cap R14/88H Golden Wheat. Those two are a bit large and I need to learn to adjust the tabs in the back, and I also need to figure out from the videos how to "style" them with my fingers so they look good for me. This is a cute summer wig for someone who doesn't want permatese. It's low density. I got 22F16 there is not enough dimension for me but I do feel someone looking for a well made no permatese, low density piece would be very happy with it. I did have lots of thick hair & I like some poof on top.I was going to give it away but it is growing on me using dry shampoo,piece out & hair spray. Even tho it's symmetrical you can achieve a asymmetrical look with some tucking. I have noticed many reviews/comments on various pieces that I feel expectations are often unrealistic. Let's face it we all don't look like the beautiful ladies,Eileen,Marlen or Taz much less the models. I have found often if I think I don't like something if I change my makeup,color I'm wearing wait a few days,wear it around the house,often one I thought I would send back grows on me. Also often they just need a bit of tweaking with a small trim here & there to make it my own. I imagine very few can just take most of them out of the box with INSTANT SUCCESS ! Even I expected it at 1st & being a Master Stylist (retired) should have known better. I guess what I'm trying to say to all those who are new like me is to be patient.S N.
