They stay on moderately good, but if I'm correct these don't have the sticky stuff on them already come off pretty fast. This dipping system is a huge YES! it costs exactly the same amount as one professional dip manicure and if you are patient and willing to learn a new skill you will save yourself hundreds of dollars with this investment. Because I do have a track record of painting outside the lines with regular nail polish, I was nervous that this would prove disastrous in doing my own dip. However, the consistency of the liquid bonders etc. are very thin meaning they were incredible easy to control. My recommendation to anyone looking to start doing DIY dip nails is to also invest in a nail drill, and a cheap nail brush (that won’t loose its hairs) to brush access powders. I also purchased nail caps to help ease the process of removing my dip manicures, (I absolutely detest sticking my fingers in a bowl of acetone. I much prefer clamping the cotton to my nails). Finally, the best pro tip I can give is to not worry about going overboard when your painting the liquid steps onto your nails. Recalling how quickly the women at my salon painted on step 1, I attempted to create the thinnest layer I could on my first attempt of my first couple nails. That method proved to be a fail and the dip spread out unevenly across the nail and I had to start over again. On the rest of my hand I made sure to make sure I made a solid wet layer across the nail, and each time I pulled my perfectly coated finger out of the powder I wanted to scream with joy! While this product may look intimidating, it really is quiet easy. I should mention that you can also mix and Match whatever brands of powder you want to use with this system as well. I've never had my nails done at a salon, so I've never had any exposure to the process of gel, acrylic or dip nails. I've just always used plain ol' nail polish, but I'm very active and finally got fed up with even the "best" quality nail polishes chipping within 2 days of application. Enter: Dipwell. Compared to some other kits and brands I've seen, Dipwell is way more affordable. I can't speak to any quality differences among brands though since this is my first ever experience with dip powders. I had to do 2-3 full applications before I feel like I got a hang of the application techniques, so if you're used to getting dip nails done at the salon, this will likely be easier for you (assuming you pay attention to the process)! Even after the 2nd time and still looking a little sloppy in places, it still looked better than most regular nail polish applications. By my 3rd application, I was able to create cute ombre accent nails, so you can learn pretty quickly. One thing to note is that this can get MESSY (or maybe I'm still bad at this…), especially with all the filing and buffing residue. Clean-up is fairly easy, but as a total noob to acrylic systems of any kind, I didn't expect the amount of mess it can create. The instruction pamphlet is pretty clear, but I also watched lots of tutorial videos to get a more complete picture of the process. The colors are beautiful, but I wish there were better swatches and photos on hands on the website, because some colors are not well-represented by the single swatch on the website. This system is great and if you’re thorough and diligent with the instructions your manicure will look great and last. I bought this when there was not a build your own option, and was disappointed to find that the naturale colors included were not my style. The lighter color is filled with glitter/sparkles which surprised me- I avoided the glitter set because I don’t like glitter- and the darker color is sort of a deep pink. I bought a kit for my friend a couple months after my purchase and discovered the build your own kit which was such a great option and she was very happy. As nail salons are not open, this was and is a great option if you can find the time to do you nails yourself. Almost everything is in luded that you will need. However, remember nail polish remover, and have that available before you start. There is no "brush cleaner" as the instructions specified that you clean the brush with once you've applied the acrylic to your nails, and there is not nail clippers included, and there is also no additional container for the powder or acrylic liquid either, like you may see them use when you are at the nail salon. They claim that the nails will wear for up to a week. The kit comes with 28 nails (numbered on the back), 24 Mega-adhesive tabs, pink gel glue (2g), mini file, and a manicure stick. I used glue for the nails on my left hand and the mega adhesives for my right hand. I found that the glue tube was a bit difficult to squeeze. I applied the nails and held them in place for a couple of seconds until they dried. The mega adhesives are double-sided and were very easy to apply. Results: I washed my hands, washed dishes, cooked, typed, etc. regularly. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. Love these!! They aren’t super long so it’s not that big a deal if you want to file them down so they work perfectly. The only issue I had was getting the nails to look more symmetrical when I filed them down to almond shapes. When applying, you have to make sure you put nail glue on both your natural and fake nail to make it last! I have always been a nail biter so my nails are not very long. I wanted to have nice nails for a formal event and decided to buy these. They’re much better that I thought they would be. I painted it with regular nail polish and topped it with a gel glitter polish. The gel cure allowed the nails to be a lot stronger which I love. I also painted the nails before gluing it to prevent the mess. My only complaint is that the glue is very strong. Both a pro and a con. It sticks very well but can be messy. I got tons of compliments on these nails. I usually wear impress press on nails by Kiss and these are quite a bit thicker than what I’m used to. I didn’t use the glue to adhere them to my nails, I used Kiss mail tabs and they worked well. Only lost one during the week but it was easy to reapply. They lasted a week. I will buy again.Amy G.

This is a good product for beginners like myself. When this Coronavirus pandemic began, like a lot of others my current acrylic manicure (done in a nail salon) was desperately needing a refill. When those nails fell off I decided to purchase this product and give it a try. The amount of each product in this kit varies and in my opinion is a tad disproportionate. You get plenty of acrylic powder, but not as much liquid monomer. The acrylic powder is okay but I could definitely tell the quality wasn’t as good as the normal acrylic I get from the nail salon. I did the first set and it actually wasn’t terrible. I did have to do a lot of filing (file is included but it any amazing quality) to get the acrylic even. Also I was disappointed that it didn’t come with a small container to put the actual liquid monomer in. I used a smaller sized measuring cup. I also was very disappointed that when I was done and put the containers back inside the packaged kit, a couple of days later I realized the liquid monomer spilled and/or evaporated and I know for a fact I closed it shut. Made me think about how it may have leaked or didn’t have correct sealing. I’ve ordered a better version of this kit (around 20.00) off of Kiss’ website and will review that product as well. Nice, very affordable nail kit. It’s beginner friendly the directions are simple, easy to follow. Outside of glueing on nails tips, I had no prior experience with acrylics (unless done by a professional). It works great my nails lasted almost 3 weeks. The downside is the smell, of course. It’s pretty strong, gives me a headache. The only thing I don’t care for is the brush, the bristles shed it’s hard to clean. Once you use this kit twice, you may as well toss it buy another one (or buy a sustainable, durable brush). The kit is around $9-$12 definitely worth trying out if you’re interested in acrylics. It doesn’t have a nail primer, but it’s still strong lasts without it. It’s a another quality product from Kiss.aaliyah.z
I've been using these for a little while now, and I have definitely noticed some new things after using them First off, I would like to say that this concept is AMAZING. I love the fact you can express your creativity with these, and can customize your nails however you'd like. There are an array of sizes, and comes with everything you need. The brush isn't the best, but for the price not horrible. The instructions are easy to understand, and just from going to a nail salon you can comprehend what your supposed to do Now, after applying these and wearing them. I noticed a few (major) flaws. First, I must say not being a professional makes it HARD to make the nail shapes even. I spent more time on the shaping then the rest! Also, the nails fell off within 3 days. This was the most disappointing for me. Because in my head, I know if I pay a tad over double, I can get professional acrylics done that will last for 2 weeks. Also, THE SMELL. It truly smells like a nail salon. Which, smells up the whole house. Literally. I highly recommend doing this either outside, or in a bathroom where there is a fan. For the price, not bad. Which is fine, I added a pot of Clear to my basket as well. I absolutely adore Kiara Sky Dip products! I’ve been using them for about three years total now, and I love the quality, the results, and all of the different colors available. It’s by far my favorite dip powder out of any other powders out there. I’ve tried quite a few on the market and this one is always my go to. I bought this kit to teach myself how to do my own nails at home. I thoroughly love anything I can do myself at home. My nails tend to crack easily, gel doesn't always keep them sturdy and going to the salon every 2 weeks to get them done (gel or dip) is not in my budget. So I bought this kit to give my nails some strength while also looking great. Plus I suck at polish. I always get it everywhere when using my non-dominant hand to paint. The included instructions are pretty basic and give you a step by step guide that you need to be successful. It also helps that Kiara Sky has a YouTube channel to show you exactly how to do the dip manicure with the starter kit so with the included instructions and YT video, it's pretty fool proof. My first manicure was good, not great but for my very first attempt, I'd say it went pretty well! There are a few tools you will need that are not included in the kit and that includes a buffer block, nail file, manicure sticks and a fluffy brush to brush off excess powder left on your fingers (I used a clean makeup brush that I no longer use and it worked fine). I also like that the kit includes a brush saver to clean the polishes included and extra brush heads incase you need to replace them (This was nice as I pulled the bristles out of the topcoat head by mistake when wiping it off after using the brush saver). I literally buy many different types of pressure on nails, this item was good when I used it. The price isn't bad for them either. They stay on moderately good, but if I'm correct these don't have the sticky stuff on them already come off pretty fast. Many months ago I bought this set to start doing my acrylics at home because of how expensive it became to regularly get them done at nail salons. As I was just starting out, I loved that this kit included an instruction guide, because it told me how to correctly use the different products inside. However, I will say that the brush is certainly not the best, as over time hairs began falling out leading me to purchase a higher-quality one. I personally suggest purchasing another glass dappen dish to fill with non-acetone nail polish remover, as it helped me to shape the acrylic powder and notably improved the appearance of the final product. In addition to the kit, I did have to buy nail tips in smaller sizes. If you have smaller hands like I do, many of the included tips will be too large. Also, do make sure to use this in a well-ventilated area to help disperse the odor and vapors. If you use this regularly, I would also recommend purchasing a face mask as an extra precaution. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase of this set, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to learn how to do acrylics themselves.
While this kit has literally, everything you need to do your own acrylic set, the powder did NOT dry for some reason. It’s my first time trying to do my own acrylic nails and the powder only dried down to a sticky, glue like substance. And the mail glue was dried out so I used another. I bought it a month ago because it seemed like a good buy and the store associate said it was a good product. I'm so disappointed because I can literally peel the acrylic off of my nail easily. I followed the instructions to the letter and even tried applying it in layers, turned out terrible. It's very gummy both after application and letting it sit to cure. When removing the nail polish to do a fill in, very gummy. The nail tips that come with it are terrible as well. I've been a regular shopper here for many years and usually love their products, but this was awful.

This was the first time I've ever done a successful nail extension on myself. I am incredibly impressed with this kit. My thumbs are too big for the largest tip in the set but I was able to combat that problem by using additional builder gel to create a perfect fit. I recommend shaping the cuticle area of the tip before you place them if your cuticle area is more round. I was able to create a custom fitting set successfully and I am sure it will go quicker next time. I would suggest having a nail drill and full hand curing lamp on hand for ease of use. I do not have a full hand curing lamp at this time so I was able to do my nails individually with the lamp provided. But seriously would be time saving to invest in a full size lamp lol. So user tip. Start with your pinky. Work your way towards your first finger and thumb. Otherwise trying to hold the nail down and use it light will be really hard. if you start with your pinky you can have full use of first finger and thumb till the very end. I chose the medium length. I have done my nails 4 times now. Twice I had a nail pop off. My thumb but that’s cuz I’m a cashier and I gripped something and used my nail not my actual thumb. I wish they had a way for you to just order your size nails once you know your nail size. They give you 00-10 I think and obviously you’re gonna be left with nails you can’t use cuz they don’t fit. Hardest part is holding the nail down to keep air pockets out while pressing the uv light button which as on the BACK of the uv light. Not very user friendly. A push down button on front base would have been smarter. So one star loss for that reason. Either way I love this kit. This picture is after a week of growth and my first attempt at ombré glitter, not easy so I can see a lot of errors.Jack
This kit is absolutely worth every penny. I’ve been doing my own nails for about 2-3 years now, and the part I’ve always hated the most is having to apply the nail product — whether that’s polygel, gel, or acrylic — because I’m a perfectionist and it takes me forever to do so. This kit cuts the time that I would usually take to do my nails in half. Applying them takes a little practice the first time you use the kit, but by the time you’re on your other hand, it’s much easier. I’ve applied fake full-cover tips with gel bottom coat polish before and they don’t last NEARLY as long as these. As I’m typing this out, I still have a set on that I applied over 5 weeks ago. While they’ve definitely grown out, I’m still not seeing any lifting whatsoever at the cuticle. The prep, activator and base coat all work great, but the topcoat bottle I got is kind of frustrating to work with. It dries so quickly that the product on the brush hardens before I can do all 10 fingers, so it leaves only a few fibres free and the rest a big chunk. Then when it dries on the nail the topcoat dries matte in some places and has a shrink-wrap appearance in others. I don't know if I've just gotten a faulty product or I'm doing something wrong, would love some help. Other than that, the three other bottles are fantastic.Maddison K.

I am disappointed because I got this for my 11 year old because kids always want to be like their mommie. I get dipped nails when I go to the nail salon so I thought this would be something similar. Wrong was I. There is no powder. I mean you can buy some, separately. Had I known that, I would have selected something else. Well we tried it anyways and outside of being disappointed about the powder, it turned out ok. As long as you follow the directions, you should not have any problems using this set. As far as a kid (my 11 year old), I recommend that a parent or someone older be there with them while using this to provide some guidance. They can do it on their own but at the same time you want to make sure things do not dry up or get a little too messy. Each bottle is color coded which is a plus. I like the fact that this was done. I have been using this product for a few months now and I love it. It's so easy and stress free. I love being able to do my own nails from home but still get a salon look. I have two issues with this product that is making me go to another brand. 1 even when your super careful to not drip around the top of the bottle they are very hard to open the next time. The other is the brushes are awful. They get hard after just a couple uses sometimes even in the middle of using them making the mani awful. When I have tried to use the brush restorer, when i go to dry off the bristles and feel them to make sure they are soft they pull right out. Even when I am gentle. She shows you how to make them stay on and remove them without damaging your nails. • Every time I wear these I get compliments on my mani and I always blurt out “THEYRE PRESS-ONS they’re $6!” 🙈 • They look so good and come in a ton of colors and unique designs which would be expensive and time-consuming at a salon—if any were open right now • Even with all the hand washing I do and all the skincare products I apply, these stay on my hands for 3 days before the first pops off—and it’s easy to reglue, so I can easily get a week-10 days of wear out of a set as long as I keep the adhesive tube (and “adhesive tabs”, which aren’t as strong, but work in a pinch for backup) • 2 main things: (1) flatten out the nails before you size them to your fingers (choosing a too-small nail and having it “curl up” into its original shape is one of the main reasons these pop off), and 2) apply 1-2 coats of a nail-strengthening base coat (this gives the adhesive something to hang onto/peel off if you lose a nail)ariana.a

This is the first time I have ever used press-on nails and these went on super easy! A thin coat of glue on my nail and on the press on, I held for a count of 10 with my thumb then repositioned my thumb for another count of 10, and VOILA you are done!! I love the look of coffin/ballet nails but my natural nails will never ever grow to where I can wear that shape so I got these. For me, these are LONG but I will give it some time for me to adjust too. If not, I am going to have to trim them. I've been looking for press-on nails that resemble what you would get in a salon! It took me a while to try these. I bought them but had never put them on until last week. These look like I got my nails done in a salon. They are thick just like acrylic and sturdy. It definite beats spending almost $100 on nails and is less harsh on my nail bed as well. I’m on day 7 of wearing these press on nails. I have received so many compliments. This set actually look as if I had them done at a salon. I had to file and shaped the nails to fit my cuticle more realistically. I brought and used the Kiss brush on glue to apply (not the glue that was included). After prepping, I brushed a coat of glue on my nails and a thin coat on the back of the press on nails. After applying nails, I brushed on a thin layer of regular top coat. I haven’t had any lifting, breaking or splitting. I will purchase again.GiGi6
