Worth it, I don’t see acrylics lasting much longer in the nail salon industry so this would be a great alternative as apposed to hard gels which is a lot harder to practice. This was the first time I've ever done a successful nail extension on myself. I am incredibly impressed with this kit. My thumbs are too big for the largest tip in the set but I was able to combat that problem by using additional builder gel to create a perfect fit. I recommend shaping the cuticle area of the tip before you place them if your cuticle area is more round. I was able to create a custom fitting set successfully and I am sure it will go quicker next time. I would suggest having a nail drill and full hand curing lamp on hand for ease of use. I do not have a full hand curing lamp at this time so I was able to do my nails individually with the lamp provided. But seriously would be time saving to invest in a full size lamp lol. For someone who is new to gel polish and diy nail extensions this was very self explanatory and easy to follow. Would recommend to everyone!!Makenna M.
So user tip. Start with your pinky. Work your way towards your first finger and thumb. Otherwise trying to hold the nail down and use it light will be really hard. if you start with your pinky you can have full use of first finger and thumb till the very end. I chose the medium length. I have done my nails 4 times now. Twice I had a nail pop off. My thumb but that’s cuz I’m a cashier and I gripped something and used my nail not my actual thumb. I wish they had a way for you to just order your size nails once you know your nail size. They give you 00-10 I think and obviously you’re gonna be left with nails you can’t use cuz they don’t fit. Hardest part is holding the nail down to keep air pockets out while pressing the uv light button which as on the BACK of the uv light. Not very user friendly. A push down button on front base would have been smarter. So one star loss for that reason. Either way I love this kit. This picture is after a week of growth and my first attempt at ombré glitter, not easy so I can see a lot of errors.Jack

I’ve been doing my own nails for about 2-3 years now, and the part I’ve always hated the most is having to apply the nail product — whether that’s polygel, gel, or acrylic — because I’m a perfectionist and it takes me forever to do so. This kit cuts the time that I would usually take to do my nails in half. Applying them takes a little practice the first time you use the kit, but by the time you’re on your other hand, it’s much easier. I’ve applied fake full-cover tips with gel bottom coat polish before and they don’t last NEARLY as long as these. As I’m typing this out, I still have a set on that I applied over 5 weeks ago. While they’ve definitely grown out, I’m still not seeing any lifting whatsoever at the cuticle. This is the worst 🤣 it's trash. I really had high hopes for this. I got it for mother's day. First, it came with a faulty power cord. I had to switch it around with one that I already had for it to turn on. Secondly, It doesn't actually cure the gel polish. I made sure to put it on very thin, But it deposits almost no color. After two coats that was supposed to be purple in brown. The lights are so minimal that You're not sure if it's actually hitting the areas that needs to. I ended up curing for 3 minutes on each layer and it still did nothing. When I went to put the top coat on, The nail polish was still completely liquid. The learning curve isn’t too bad, you need to be careful not to apply too close to the nail bed, seal the tips and apply thin even coats. The only issues I’ve ever had with gel manicures is that they can sometimes peel off. This is due to my nails not being completely free of oils and dehydrated before application. These are fun nails with a large variety of colors. They were easy to apply and even shape if need be. They won’t last you all week but they’re perfect for a night out or a weekend get away. Quick and and easy to use instead of going to the nail salon and sitting for 2 hours . Also the nails were easy to remove without damaging my nails. My favorite part was having the option to use the adhesive tabs or the glue . Tabs for a night out or flue if I want to wear for several days! The color for the nails were really pretty and it fit my nail bed just nice! Even though it says short length, it was not short. I had to trim and file it to a shorter length. It is perfect if you'd like a 2 hour nail job because the stickers don't stick well at all, and my nails fell out within the day. I definitely suggest using the glue instead. Fortunately this set set came with both the glue and the stickers. Avoid those with only the stickers!S
I’ve learned to do my nails on my own because I find salon prices obscene. I’ve tried so many different brands and this is the one I keep coming back to. The never chip and will hold on for 10 days or longer, I’ve had mine on for almost 2 weeks now and I’m changing it just cause I’m bored with the design already, and because my nails are growing so you could kinda see a gap but only if you’re OC with that kind of thing like I am. The key lies in prepping your nails, make sure you clip, file and buff them before hand before pressing the nails on top, and don’t get them wet for an hour or two after. I find people who leave the bad reviews didn’t do the work which is all but 15mins, just saying. Follow this and they will last forever. Medium length works best for me cause I type a lot, plus do the dishes, clean, etc and long nails are hard to work with but that’s up to you. For less than $10 you get stylish, dependable nails. To be honest, I had no idea these nails would be this good. I used to think that KISS only made long-style nails, but now finding out that they have short nails, I have completely fallen in love with them! Their very realistic, near the regular size of my real nails so they're very comfortable, while still remaining professional for work, and classy for a night out. I really like how easy these are to put on and they stay on. I've had mine on a week and haven't had any problems with them coming off. So I applied these nails on a Thursday. I'm a full time mom so I'm really hard on my nails (cooking. Cleaning. Wash. Changing. Chores. Gardening. Etc.) easy to apply for the most part. I clipped them way down and filed them. I mostly wanted them to look painted. I got so many compliments and everyone thought they were my nails. I ripped them off on the following Monday. The edges of my nails were showing just a little bit. But it's those little details and hat drives me a little crazy. I soaked them in a bowl of hot water. They came off fairly easy. They were still really stuck. Minimal damage to my nails. Overall I like them and if I had something I wanted to look nice for quickly for sure. But for me gel nail polish makes more sense.Grace

Because of the pandemic, my need for manicures went to about 0. Wore GLOSS for Christmas, and was impressed. GLAZE is almost about as impressive. I watched a DD tutorial before trying, and took my time applying them. And when done – 😍. Wow. Looked like I went to the salon. Longevity has always been a problem for me. But I was pleasantly surprised. For me, professional gels never lasted more than 7-10 days. These lasted 8 days… removed them because some started to crack and lift. My nails grow quickly, & my hands are always moving – I do a lot of typing, cleaning, and opening cat food cans 😉. And the cold weather makes my hands so dry, they need loads of hand cream. I think all of this played a large part in how long they lasted. I did have some staining, but no more than with other gel manis. Normally I don't do reviews, but I am impressed with this product. I bought this gel nails just for now seeing as I'm going to FL in a couple of weeks. I wanted to keep my nails a bit longer, and done so they could stay nice until I got real gel. I went this route on a whim at Ulta and I'm impressed. The nail actually hardens with the lamp. They are easy to apply. They are durable and they stay on with water. I work at a shoe store so my hands are constantly working with boxes. & who isn't constantly washing or sanitizing their hands this day? Check check. I am not debating if I want to take this route for FL nails because they are so much cheaper than going to the salon. 4/5 bc the only thing I don't like is sometimes my hair gets stuck under the back part by my cuticle but I saw some girl leave a review and say to deal with a top coat. I've been using stickers for four-ish years now and the original DDs are some of my favorites. Especially the glitter ones. I didn't think I was going to like this color, but I do. I don't just like it, I love it. The light hardens these and they look as good as a professional manicure. I've had mine on for over a week now. With no chipping whatsoever. And my nails are hard and useful. Which is more than I can say for my regular nails which are thin brittle and peeling. I wish I could post a photo. I will say that the smallest nail is still a tad big for my pinky. I'm not a small person so I can't imagine that I am the only one that would have this problem. This is a great kit! I've used it a few times now and the light is great, color lasts. Wonderful and recommended! I got another brand of colors and another base and top coat which keeps shine longer but over all, SO worth it! Read the instructions to apply correctly: specifically *don't apply all the way to cuticle* because it is thin and will spread out. Finish one hand and let it rest for a minute or so giving it time to spread and then cure under the light.Abigail
So let me just start by saying that I enjoy making my nails look pretty, like just about any other woman. I've tried it all – you name it! DIY acrylic kits, nail polish that is supposed to be "gel quality", dip powders, gluten-on nails. The whole shebang. I was skeptical at first when trying the Sensationail kit but GIRL let me tell you! This stuff has a fairly easy application process, the price is on point for what all is included and best of all.. IT LASTS! No chipping or anything of the sort and it looks like salon quality. I've tried it on my natural nails as well as using forms and it lasts with both. I've tried the raspberry wine, a gray color and a coral color as well and they're all such prettttty colors! So if you're ever wondering if you should try Sensationail products, please give this a try at least because I'm 99.9% sure you won't be disappointed. Also – everything that comes within the start kit, if you run out.. they sell extra that's separate so you don't have to buy a whole kit again!jordan.l
This product does truly stay on for a good 2 weeks or so. At the end of that time the biggest issue was my nail growth, so the gel polish works great. The raspberry wine color is very pretty-sorry of a magenta color. This is probably the most time consuming at home manicure I've ever done. The buffing, prepping/priming, and then 3 coats that go under the lamp took a long time. Be prepared to spend at least 30 min on your nails. There are some areas of the color that sort of thinned out while it cured, but I did pretty thin coats as the instructions said. But the fact that they stayed on for so long was very impressive. I have not removed it yet, but I expect it will take quite a bit of soaking in acetone.TiredMama5

I’ve been doing my own gel nails for a couple of years now, usually I go for the short and colorful looks but recently I felt like having longer nails – since my own nails are very thin and don’t grow well I decided to venture into a full nail kit. It took me a week to get the courage to try it, I was so afraid of the glue part. I watched a ton of tutorials and finally did it today haha. I picked the petite nails as my own nails are tiny and regular sized nails are a challenge. I worked for about an hour to file the sides and make them fit my nail beds perfectly. After that came the glue, yes it was as bad as I feared. I had glue everywhere by the time I finished – when I first started applying them I was like ‘I’m never doing this again!’ But then I got the hang of it and by the time I was finished I was like ‘I’m totally doing this again’ Lmao. I actually did a pretty decent job of avoiding air bubbles, not perfect but I’m happy with it. I took off a star because the white part of the French tip is too short, my own nail beds aren’t long and you can see where my natural nail ends underneath. I think I will buy a regular kit next time with longer French tips and file them to my size – once you get the hang of filing them to your own nail beds it’s not very difficult. I think that filing them to fit you is the best thing you can do to get a good result. In the end I had fun, it looks pretty and I’ll be trying it again for sure. Oh btw I took a hot shower after putting on the nails, and all the glue on my skin came off. Phew! 10/10 recommended. I will update my review to let you guys know how long they lasted. Due to the pandemic, I bought this from a recommendation of a friend since my nails were starting to look like I was half hobbit. These are so perfect length, I like my nails short. They look so natural and are AS GOOD as my salon acrylic ones, but these take me 10-15min MAX to put on. The key here is Cover the entire nail with glue AND a small drop in the middle. This will avoid air bubbles but you will glue yourself a bit. Once you see the overflow, you will learn how much is “enough”… be forewarned, more is better than less here. I also bought the glue brush on to avoid gluing my fingers together, it’s crap, just use the glue that comes with the kit and don’t waste your money.stephanie.g

Many months ago I bought this set to start doing my acrylics at home because of how expensive it became to regularly get them done at nail salons. As I was just starting out, I loved that this kit included an instruction guide, because it told me how to correctly use the different products inside. However, I will say that the brush is certainly not the best, as over time hairs began falling out leading me to purchase a higher-quality one. I personally suggest purchasing another glass dappen dish to fill with non-acetone nail polish remover, as it helped me to shape the acrylic powder and notably improved the appearance of the final product. In addition to the kit, I did have to buy nail tips in smaller sizes. If you have smaller hands like I do, many of the included tips will be too large. Also, do make sure to use this in a well-ventilated area to help disperse the odor and vapors. If you use this regularly, I would also recommend purchasing a face mask as an extra precaution. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase of this set, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to learn how to do acrylics themselves.
While this kit has literally, everything you need to do your own acrylic set, the powder did NOT dry for some reason. It’s my first time trying to do my own acrylic nails and the powder only dried down to a sticky, glue like substance. And the mail glue was dried out so I used another. I bought it a month ago because it seemed like a good buy and the store associate said it was a good product. I'm so disappointed because I can literally peel the acrylic off of my nail easily. I followed the instructions to the letter and even tried applying it in layers, turned out terrible. It's very gummy both after application and letting it sit to cure. When removing the nail polish to do a fill in, very gummy. The nail tips that come with it are terrible as well. I've been a regular shopper here for many years and usually love their products, but this was awful.
