Chanel Washed Denim: Gorgeous classy, elegant color and extremely long wearing! I used Sally Hansen as a base coat and between the two coats of this polish. I finally topped it off with two coats of Sally Hansen Quik Dry Top Coat. This manicure lasted me a week as opposed to Dior polish which lasted me one day before it smudged and chipped. This brush is small like I prefer because I have petite hands and small nails. You can get into the sides of the nail with precision. It’s a thick formula but levels off perfectly. I’d recommend this to anyone who can afford it. I got mine with my Nordy bucks but would pick Sally Hansen over Chanel for their gorgeous colors and amazing longevity and durability. I purchased the Vernis nail shade in Cavaliere and this is the color I am reviewing. After wearing it a few weeks, I received a number of complements on it from friends and while in public. It is a lovely rich shade of Brown that goes on the nail smoothly without bubbles or streaking. It is a rich dark brown with only a hint of barely noticeable shimmer. I was attracted to the color because I thought it had more shimmer to it. I still think the polish needs more shimmer to highlight the beautiful brown color that Cavaliere really is. I was attracted very strongly to this color because my grandmother had a similar shade long years ago that is now no longer available and I wanted one like hers. This is a flattering color that looks best on light skinned very fair women. It will detract from darker toned skin shades, which would be more flattered by lighter shades. I was also drawn to this color because I think Chanel herself would love it and it reminded me of her luxe living room on Rue Cambon. Chanel Washed Denim: Gorgeous classy, elegant color and extremely long wearing! I used Sally Hansen as a base coat and between the two coats of this polish. I finally topped it off with two coats of Sally Hansen Quik Dry Top Coat. This manicure lasted me a week as opposed to Dior polish which lasted me one day before it smudged and chipped. This brush is small like I prefer because I have petite hands and small nails. You can get into the sides of the nail with precision. It’s a thick formula but levels off perfectly. I’d recommend this to anyone who can afford it. I got mine with my Nordy bucks but would pick Sally Hansen over Chanel for their gorgeous colors and amazing longevity and durability. I purchased the Vernis nail shade in Cavaliere and this is the color I am reviewing. After wearing it a few weeks, I received a number of complements on it from friends and while in public. It is a lovely rich shade of Brown that goes on the nail smoothly without bubbles or streaking. It is a rich dark brown with only a hint of barely noticeable shimmer. I was attracted to the color because I thought it had more shimmer to it. I still think the polish needs more shimmer to highlight the beautiful brown color that Cavaliere really is. I was attracted very strongly to this color because my grandmother had a similar shade long years ago that is now no longer available and I wanted one like hers. This is a flattering color that looks best on light skinned very fair women. It will detract from darker toned skin shades, which would be more flattered by lighter shades. I was also drawn to this color because I think Chanel herself would love it and it reminded me of her luxe living room on Rue Cambon. This polish sealed the deal for me and turned me into a true Chanelphile. Love the color and the look, which is cool, calm, sophisticated.RudysSister
