This dipping system is a huge YES! it costs exactly the same amount as one professional dip manicure and if you are patient and willing to learn a new skill you will save yourself hundreds of dollars with this investment. Because I do have a track record of painting outside the lines with regular nail polish, I was nervous that this would prove disastrous in doing my own dip. However, the consistency of the liquid bonders etc. are very thin meaning they were incredible easy to control. My recommendation to anyone looking to start doing DIY dip nails is to also invest in a nail drill, and a cheap nail brush (that won’t loose its hairs) to brush access powders. I also purchased nail caps to help ease the process of removing my dip manicures, (I absolutely detest sticking my fingers in a bowl of acetone. I much prefer clamping the cotton to my nails). Finally, the best pro tip I can give is to not worry about going overboard when your painting the liquid steps onto your nails. Recalling how quickly the women at my salon painted on step 1, I attempted to create the thinnest layer I could on my first attempt of my first couple nails. That method proved to be a fail and the dip spread out unevenly across the nail and I had to start over again. On the rest of my hand I made sure to make sure I made a solid wet layer across the nail, and each time I pulled my perfectly coated finger out of the powder I wanted to scream with joy! While this product may look intimidating, it really is quiet easy. I should mention that you can also mix and Match whatever brands of powder you want to use with this system as well. I've never had my nails done at a salon, so I've never had any exposure to the process of gel, acrylic or dip nails. I've just always used plain ol' nail polish, but I'm very active and finally got fed up with even the "best" quality nail polishes chipping within 2 days of application. Enter: Dipwell. Compared to some other kits and brands I've seen, Dipwell is way more affordable. I can't speak to any quality differences among brands though since this is my first ever experience with dip powders. I had to do 2-3 full applications before I feel like I got a hang of the application techniques, so if you're used to getting dip nails done at the salon, this will likely be easier for you (assuming you pay attention to the process)! Even after the 2nd time and still looking a little sloppy in places, it still looked better than most regular nail polish applications. By my 3rd application, I was able to create cute ombre accent nails, so you can learn pretty quickly. One thing to note is that this can get MESSY (or maybe I'm still bad at this…), especially with all the filing and buffing residue. Clean-up is fairly easy, but as a total noob to acrylic systems of any kind, I didn't expect the amount of mess it can create. The instruction pamphlet is pretty clear, but I also watched lots of tutorial videos to get a more complete picture of the process. The colors are beautiful, but I wish there were better swatches and photos on hands on the website, because some colors are not well-represented by the single swatch on the website. This system is great and if you’re thorough and diligent with the instructions your manicure will look great and last. I bought this when there was not a build your own option, and was disappointed to find that the naturale colors included were not my style. The lighter color is filled with glitter/sparkles which surprised me- I avoided the glitter set because I don’t like glitter- and the darker color is sort of a deep pink. I bought a kit for my friend a couple months after my purchase and discovered the build your own kit which was such a great option and she was very happy. I haven't used ready-to-wear nails in YEARS!! I loved wearing Kiss Nails GEL FANTASY "KGN12" (RIBBONS) Short Design Nails w/Adhesive Tabs Glue. I loved that they were affordable and lasted for about a week. I've heard mixed reviews about these lately, so I had to see for myself if they were the same quality I once loved. I like the beautiful pink beige color and that they aren't too long -they're perfect for work. There are two ways of wearing them; you can use the glue or the mega-adhesive tabs. They claim that the nails will wear for up to a week. The kit comes with 28 nails (numbered on the back), 24 Mega-adhesive tabs, pink gel glue (2g), mini file, and a manicure stick. I used glue for the nails on my left hand and the mega adhesives for my right hand. I found that the glue tube was a bit difficult to squeeze. I applied the nails and held them in place for a couple of seconds until they dried. The mega adhesives are double-sided and were very easy to apply. Results: I washed my hands, washed dishes, cooked, typed, etc. regularly. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. It is Day 5 and the nails on my left hand (glue side) have stay put and lasted longer than the right hand (mega-adhesive side). The mega-adhesive nails started falling off on Day 3. ☹ I removed the adhesives and just used the glue for the rest of them.🤣. I am very satisfied and knew that the glue would pull through and work better than the adhesives. Great product for the money! I have tried other Kiss (as well as other brand) nail products before, and these are the best so far. They really are thicker, more like a salon acrylic. They have stayed secure and lasted longer so far as well. I planned to paint them, but they looked fine natural! As others have mentioned, in order to not get glue bubbles, you have to apply the glue to BOTH your real nail and the fake nail. I actually have gotten many compliments on these. My only complaint is that I wish the glue was easier to get out of the tube, but it's a $5ish product, and gets the job done!laurica

As nail salons are not open, this was and is a great option if you can find the time to do you nails yourself. Almost everything is in luded that you will need. However, remember nail polish remover, and have that available before you start. There is no "brush cleaner" as the instructions specified that you clean the brush with once you've applied the acrylic to your nails, and there is not nail clippers included, and there is also no additional container for the powder or acrylic liquid either, like you may see them use when you are at the nail salon. Love these!! They aren’t super long so it’s not that big a deal if you want to file them down so they work perfectly. The only issue I had was getting the nails to look more symmetrical when I filed them down to almond shapes. When applying, you have to make sure you put nail glue on both your natural and fake nail to make it last! I have always been a nail biter so my nails are not very long. I wanted to have nice nails for a formal event and decided to buy these. They’re much better that I thought they would be. I painted it with regular nail polish and topped it with a gel glitter polish. The gel cure allowed the nails to be a lot stronger which I love. I also painted the nails before gluing it to prevent the mess. My only complaint is that the glue is very strong. Both a pro and a con. It sticks very well but can be messy. This is a good product for beginners like myself. When this Coronavirus pandemic began, like a lot of others my current acrylic manicure (done in a nail salon) was desperately needing a refill. When those nails fell off I decided to purchase this product and give it a try. The amount of each product in this kit varies and in my opinion is a tad disproportionate. You get plenty of acrylic powder, but not as much liquid monomer. The acrylic powder is okay but I could definitely tell the quality wasn’t as good as the normal acrylic I get from the nail salon. I did the first set and it actually wasn’t terrible. I did have to do a lot of filing (file is included but it any amazing quality) to get the acrylic even. Also I was disappointed that it didn’t come with a small container to put the actual liquid monomer in. I used a smaller sized measuring cup. I also was very disappointed that when I was done and put the containers back inside the packaged kit, a couple of days later I realized the liquid monomer spilled and/or evaporated and I know for a fact I closed it shut. Made me think about how it may have leaked or didn’t have correct sealing. I’ve ordered a better version of this kit (around 20.00) off of Kiss’ website and will review that product as well. Nice, very affordable nail kit. It’s beginner friendly the directions are simple, easy to follow. Outside of glueing on nails tips, I had no prior experience with acrylics (unless done by a professional). It works great my nails lasted almost 3 weeks. The downside is the smell, of course. It’s pretty strong, gives me a headache. The only thing I don’t care for is the brush, the bristles shed it’s hard to clean. Once you use this kit twice, you may as well toss it buy another one (or buy a sustainable, durable brush). The kit is around $9-$12 definitely worth trying out if you’re interested in acrylics. Save your money for a better product. nail tips are flimsy and will bend and tear easy. My daughter has had 2 break off in 2 days then i had one break off while filing my pinky nail. The plastic tips are so thin and weak. The brush it came with is permanently stuck together at the end and kinda thick to apply the acrylic to nails. Ive have always used Kiss for my press on and glue on nails, i believe it is a very affordable quality brand but the acrylic kit. No. I bought this for homecoming so I wouldn't have to spend 40 for acrylics at the salon and at first it was going okay. But the brush included was horrible and I had to use one of my own paint brushes. The smell was so strong and lasted for days after i threw it away. I attempted a french tip set as that is my go to at the salon. My nails turned out okay, but after a few minutes the white tips started turning yellow so i removed them. i have used kiss nail kits for a very long time. i had three kids and could never get the salon. i taught myself how to do my own nails. i am very rough on my nails with housework, yardwork, construction projects with my husband and my nails stay on at least 3 weeks before looking bad. now i dont use the tips i do it old school with forms, which might make a difference in binding with your nails. hey when i can do my nails for $11.00 dollars a fill instead of $$$ im happy. double primer is key also 🙂

First of all, do NOT buy this for state board. The nail liquid was confiscated due to the lack of foil seal on the bottle as it only had a plastic stopper. Second of all, this is VERY expensive for the quality. I bought 2, one to practice at home and the other for my state exam however again, the nail liquid was not up to standard for the test & didnt know until i got there. Doesn’t matter how exact your ratio is, or how big of a bead, the liquid and powder still create a very thin product. The tacky layer is also a pain to remove compared to other odorless kits. It seems like it created a very thick tacky layer so I was buffing forever. The overall appearance isnt bad but this was a huge waste of money.Sarah G.
I must say that this could have been much better. The pros of this acrylic is that the company provides you with an at home kit to learn to do acrylic nails. The cons of this product is that you are likely to fail and think that you did something wrong. The acrylic dries way too fast leaving the bead you applied dried on the nail like 3D nail art. The new Kiss acrylic kit has a new bubble free formula for $8 that is 10X better than this and this product costs almost $30 I have a video on my YouTube channel using the nail dehydrator and the nail primer. Well if I’m being honest I was excited to try this product. How ever upon using it the acrylic no matter how little liquid you used was beyond watery and did not want to form very easily. Once they dried they were also very soft and almost tacky/sticky feeling. It never fully hardens.Barbara S.

This is a good product for beginners like myself. When this Coronavirus pandemic began, like a lot of others my current acrylic manicure (done in a nail salon) was desperately needing a refill. When those nails fell off I decided to purchase this product and give it a try. The amount of each product in this kit varies and in my opinion is a tad disproportionate. You get plenty of acrylic powder, but not as much liquid monomer. The acrylic powder is okay but I could definitely tell the quality wasn’t as good as the normal acrylic I get from the nail salon. I did the first set and it actually wasn’t terrible. I did have to do a lot of filing (file is included but it any amazing quality) to get the acrylic even. Also I was disappointed that it didn’t come with a small container to put the actual liquid monomer in. I used a smaller sized measuring cup. I also was very disappointed that when I was done and put the containers back inside the packaged kit, a couple of days later I realized the liquid monomer spilled and/or evaporated and I know for a fact I closed it shut. Made me think about how it may have leaked or didn’t have correct sealing. I’ve ordered a better version of this kit (around 20.00) off of Kiss’ website and will review that product as well. P.S. the liquid monomer is missing in the picture because I had to throw it away due to leaking into the packaging.shelbi.c
Nice, very affordable nail kit. It’s beginner friendly the directions are simple, easy to follow. Outside of glueing on nails tips, I had no prior experience with acrylics (unless done by a professional). It works great my nails lasted almost 3 weeks. The downside is the smell, of course. It’s pretty strong, gives me a headache. The only thing I don’t care for is the brush, the bristles shed it’s hard to clean. Once you use this kit twice, you may as well toss it buy another one (or buy a sustainable, durable brush). The kit is around $9-$12 definitely worth trying out if you’re interested in acrylics. It doesn’t have a nail primer, but it’s still strong lasts without it. It’s a another quality product from Kiss.aaliyah.z
I've been using these for a little while now, and I have definitely noticed some new things after using them First off, I would like to say that this concept is AMAZING. I love the fact you can express your creativity with these, and can customize your nails however you'd like. There are an array of sizes, and comes with everything you need. The brush isn't the best, but for the price not horrible. The instructions are easy to understand, and just from going to a nail salon you can comprehend what your supposed to do Now, after applying these and wearing them. I noticed a few (major) flaws. First, I must say not being a professional makes it HARD to make the nail shapes even. I spent more time on the shaping then the rest! Also, the nails fell off within 3 days. This was the most disappointing for me. Because in my head, I know if I pay a tad over double, I can get professional acrylics done that will last for 2 weeks. Also, THE SMELL. It truly smells like a nail salon. Which, smells up the whole house. Literally. I highly recommend doing this either outside, or in a bathroom where there is a fan. For the price, not bad. I literally buy many different types of pressure on nails, this item was good when I used it. The price isn't bad for them either. They stay on moderately good, but if I'm correct these don't have the sticky stuff on them already come off pretty fast. These are fun nails with a large variety of colors. They were easy to apply and even shape if need be. They won’t last you all week but they’re perfect for a night out or a weekend get away. Quick and and easy to use instead of going to the nail salon and sitting for 2 hours . Also the nails were easy to remove without damaging my nails. My favorite part was having the option to use the adhesive tabs or the glue . Tabs for a night out or flue if I want to wear for several days! The color for the nails were really pretty and it fit my nail bed just nice! Even though it says short length, it was not short. I had to trim and file it to a shorter length. It is perfect if you'd like a 2 hour nail job because the stickers don't stick well at all, and my nails fell out within the day. I definitely suggest using the glue instead. Fortunately this set set came with both the glue and the stickers. Avoid those with only the stickers!S
I’ve learned to do my nails on my own because I find salon prices obscene. I’ve tried so many different brands and this is the one I keep coming back to. The never chip and will hold on for 10 days or longer, I’ve had mine on for almost 2 weeks now and I’m changing it just cause I’m bored with the design already, and because my nails are growing so you could kinda see a gap but only if you’re OC with that kind of thing like I am. The key lies in prepping your nails, make sure you clip, file and buff them before hand before pressing the nails on top, and don’t get them wet for an hour or two after. I find people who leave the bad reviews didn’t do the work which is all but 15mins, just saying. Follow this and they will last forever. Medium length works best for me cause I type a lot, plus do the dishes, clean, etc and long nails are hard to work with but that’s up to you. For less than $10 you get stylish, dependable nails. I haven't used ready-to-wear nails in YEARS!! I loved wearing Kiss Nails GEL FANTASY "KGN12" (RIBBONS) Short Design Nails w/Adhesive Tabs Glue. I loved that they were affordable and lasted for about a week. I've heard mixed reviews about these lately, so I had to see for myself if they were the same quality I once loved. I like the beautiful pink beige color and that they aren't too long -they're perfect for work. There are two ways of wearing them; you can use the glue or the mega-adhesive tabs. They claim that the nails will wear for up to a week. The kit comes with 28 nails (numbered on the back), 24 Mega-adhesive tabs, pink gel glue (2g), mini file, and a manicure stick. I used glue for the nails on my left hand and the mega adhesives for my right hand. I found that the glue tube was a bit difficult to squeeze. I applied the nails and held them in place for a couple of seconds until they dried. The mega adhesives are double-sided and were very easy to apply. Results: I washed my hands, washed dishes, cooked, typed, etc. regularly. I didn't do anything out of the ordinary. It is Day 5 and the nails on my left hand (glue side) have stay put and lasted longer than the right hand (mega-adhesive side). The mega-adhesive nails started falling off on Day 3. ☹ I removed the adhesives and just used the glue for the rest of them.🤣. I am very satisfied and knew that the glue would pull through and work better than the adhesives. I think that the adhesives are perfect for those who want to wear nails for a special occasion, say for a weekend or for a wedding and want to remove them easily. Great product for the money! I have tried other Kiss (as well as other brand) nail products before, and these are the best so far. They really are thicker, more like a salon acrylic. They have stayed secure and lasted longer so far as well. I planned to paint them, but they looked fine natural! As others have mentioned, in order to not get glue bubbles, you have to apply the glue to BOTH your real nail and the fake nail. I actually have gotten many compliments on these. My only complaint is that I wish the glue was easier to get out of the tube, but it's a $5ish product, and gets the job done!laurica

I wasn't expecting to like these since I don't like longer toe nails and don't wear artificial nails on my toes, but when I put them on I was amazed!
