I appreciate seeing larger companies like Revlon make beauty products a bit safer when it comes to the ingredients they use. The Ultra HD Snap Nail Polish is a vegan formula that claims users only need one coat. I did find this to be true and since painting my nails isn’t often something I spend time on, I appreciated this user friendly aspect of the polish. The color certainly has a snap to it and upon first using it, it seemed a bit too bright for me. Once it dried however, I found myself liking it. The other colors in the line are perfect for spring and summer so I may purchase a few others. I coated my Revlon polish with Essie’s Always Transparent from their expressie line which dries quickly and is also vegan. I then added a drop of Olive June’s Dry Drops to seal the polish. Overall, I enjoyed this nail polish and recommend it for anyone looking for an option that doesn’t require as much of a time investment as others.lauren.d
The nail polish itself is easy to use it’s a thicker formula so it doesn’t seem to move around once u coat the nail. I love that it’s a vegan formula and quick drying as it says. I love the shape of the brush it is perfect. I’m not the biggest fan of the cap it’s chunky and I don’t feel I get a good grip with it like the standard nail polish cap. I wasn’t a fan of the color I received it was a very light warm tone brown. I feel like this color would flatter medium-dark skin much better as a perfect nude. Overall I enjoyed the experience of doing my nails with this polish since revlon is not cruelty free I don’t think I will be picking up more shades but I would if they were cruelty free! First I want to start off by saying I LOVE the color I have an olive skin tone and this berry shade is beautiful and I think it would look great on any skin tones. I loved that I could swipe one time and you did not need another layer it is not opaque at all, but actually very pigmented and thicker than other nail formulas I’ve used. I used the nail kale base coat from Nails Inc. London (love this brand for gel like nails) then topped it with this revlon nail polish. I love using that base coat because it makes my nails look like gel without gel. I did do, two layers although I could’ve just done one, and then topped it with the clear Essie brand top coat. I did my ring finger with a different nails inc color, and that one has not chipped but within a day all of my revlon ones have chipped so this is not a long lasting nail polish at all. If that is your style then you may love this, but I don’t. I actually prefer the dashing diva sticker nails more than painting my nails because it’s easier, cuter designs, and less time. It is $8 which I feel is a reasonable price for nail polish and you can tell it’ll last a long time. It definitely quick dried! That was something I did like. It still had that strong nail polish smell though. It hasn’t damaged my nails and my nails do look glossy, and it has a really rich color so that’s nice. They have a wide arrange of colors up to 24 I think anyone could find a shade they’d like. The Sally Hansen Rubies Diamonds color is super pretty, has sparkle and I like wearing it on my toes around the holidays, personally I don’t paint my nails often but I did noticed it chipped easily on my fingers but on my toes it stayed on for awhile. If you’re rough with your hands like I am (mom of 3) then you may want to look into gel rather than this one. But all in all I think it’s a good nail polish and I would recommend.kristin.m

I purchased this myself as it was readily available at my local drugstore. I’m an active mom of three and I’m tough on nail polish, sometimes it chips on day one. This does help prolong the nail polish on my fingernails, although still I will inevitably chip a nail in a day or two. On my toenails though, this top coat will last weeks. I’m all about painting my toenail because…feet…ugh, but my fingernails I won’t do as often because it makes me mad when they chip after all that work. lolcarey.c
This is a gorgeous, totally unique peachy pink, but it never seems to fully dry. Just 24 hours later, it smudges, scrapes, and chips easily. And this is a fresh, new bottle! I'm annoyed. The formula is somewhat thick, opaque and streaky. Pooling at the cuticles can be a problem because it is a bit drippy, so you have to be pretty careful. Furthermore, it tends to bubble as it dries. Application was frustrating. Making smooth, even strokes on long nails was difficult. It needed three or four coats to level out the streaks. I cut my nails short a week later and tried this polish again. On short nails, it was much easier to get smooth, even strokes with less streaking. This time I only needed three coats. This polish was not worth the hassle to apply to long nails. Since it takes so long to dry, I waited at least an hour between coats. This is an unreasonable amount of time to have to wait to recoat. This polish requires three or four coats to look good and really pop, and waiting so long between coats made for an excruciatingly long process. When several nails smudged the next day and a few chipped, I was super disappointed. The color is pretty, but it's all for naught since it never dries and is therefore unwearable. Bummer. EDIT: A dupe for this color is China Glaze Pink of Me, which I haven't tried yet. The closest color I have in my collection is Orly Prelude to a Kiss. While less pink, it offers easy, fast, flawless, streak-free application that dries quickly and looks like a pro manicure. Orly Prelude to a Kiss has the best brush and formula I've used in a long, long time. I highly recommend it.ihatespots

There is a lot that I like about this “It Takes Two” Miracle Gel nail polish and top coat. First, the color! I’m wearing Sugar Fix which is a bright, powdery blue perfect for summer! Second, I like the size and convenience of this tube; perfect to fit in your bag and have a mani-on-the-go! One side has the color and the other a top coat. Thirdly, no base coat needed! Now one thing I think needs improvement: it states to apply two color coats, wait five minutes, then apply the gel top coat. I waited slightly longer but when I applied the top coat, two of my nails smeared because I pressed too hard with the brush. It wasn’t terrible but something to be aware of. I simply re-applied on those areas and it dried fine. I think this needs more time to dry before adding the top coat. Also, you’ll need to hold onto the base of the tube as you’re applying or else it might fall over as you dip the brush in. This isn’t so much a needed improvement but rather the outcome of the sleek tube design. I’ve read a lot of reviews on this product and most of them seem to be color-related. I obviously can only speak to the color I used which went on decent the first coat and fully covered with the second. This does last a few days without heavy chipping. You get minor wear at the tips but I found this to last longer than a typical nail polish. If you follow me, I’d like to first say thank you so much! While I am admittedly by no means an expert on nail polish, I was far beyond satisfied, in fact, I was completely impressed with both the color and the quality of this nail polish. It dries quick, goes on thick and lasts! But, most importantly, the color is awesome. It is totally unique as I have certainly never seen this color before. It is predominantly silver- very shiny silver. What makes this color unique is the shade of pine green mixed in with the dominant metallic sheen. The brighter the light, the more the green shows. So basically it looks ever so slightly different every time you look at it- which to me is super cool! Highly Recommended!
This color is really nice. I LOVE IT! If you like sparkles, use this color with INSTA-DRY 258 SHOOTING STAR on top of it. You can use any color of XTREME WEAR and add Bling. How I applied; one generous coat, let dry. Then add 258 SHOOTING STAR on top; 2 generous coats. When using Sparkles/Bling on top, make sure the coats are very generous, let dry between each application. Also if you miss areas for sparkles, you can reapply the glitter where you want it. Don't worry about imperfections because the glitter will dry as if you applied it with brush smoothly. Using these two colors will give you a ROSE GOLD SPARKLE APPEARANCE. The liquid is clear. Apply more coats depending on how much bling you want. Will last 1 week or more depending on how much you wash your hands or using cleaning products without gloves. Revlon Unicornicornicopia Holochrome nail polish is beautiful. It glides on smoothly as long as enough drying time (2-3 min between coats) is given. I initially put a second coat on 45 seconds later and had some clumpiness – user mistake. To me, Unicornicornicopia looks like a shimmery (not glittery or sand-like) lavender color that – with movement and light – looks like a bluish steel (grayish) color. So the polish color takes on differing shades as it maintains shimmer. Using no base coat or top coat, I wore this enamel for four days before chipping started. I imagine that it could be worn longer without chipping if basecoat and topcoat were used. To give even more depth of color, a third coat of Unicornicornicopia is a good idea. At a retail price of $6.49 Revlon Holochrome Nail Enamel is a great value. Unicornicornicopia could be worn for fancy (holiday, proms/homecomings, weddings, tea parties, etc) or be worn casually for a little sparkle day-to-day. It is truly Unicorn Holo Shimmer Magic. I've used Revlon Nail Enamel more years than I care to admit. this has always been my "go to" polish, in shade Serene (320) for work and :play:, Once in a while I'd lighten the shade up i the summer, but always back to the favorite. No, apparently it's been discontinued and what's left around is way too expensive to even think about buying. The biggest thing I love about this polish is it didn't destroy my nails. After taking the polish off, my nails weren't dry, brittle, chipping and didn't break as much when kept polished. Tried the gel nails once, took me months to get my nails re-grown, needless to say, I went right back to a lite shade of the enamel, then back to Serene. Won't make that mistake again. Question is, what shade will work as well as that, have Totally Toffee, but it's a bit darker and I absolutely don't do pinks or weird color. Am a porcelain skinned strawberry blonde with green eyes and reds/pinks look horrible on me. Any color with a gray overtone makes my nails look like they are dead. So, unless I can talk Revlon into bringing back that particular color, anyone have any ideas on shades along that line?Gigi
This review is technically supposed to be for the shade Privileged, but I have so many of these Revlon nail polishes that I would like to talk about all the ones I own. The formulation is pretty consistent across the board. The brush is a good size- not too thick, not too thin, not too sparse. It gives me the control that I need to get a thin and even layer on, as opposed to some cheaper brushes that would result in clumping or taking away product. The only shades I would say are little sheer and need 3 coats for the most impact are 660 Divine and 909 Sheer Petal. Divine doesn't look like it from just looking at the bottle, but once applied on the nails, is a vampy brownish red. Sheer Petal is quite pale and has a delicate kind of beauty, but beware, the sheerness can exaggerate an uneven application. All the other polishes I have look pretty great in 2 coats: 570 Vixen, 450 Hypnotic, 917 Plum Seduction, 215 Daydreamer, 640 Fearless, 715 Privileged, 415 Totally Toffee, 320 Serene, 915 Creme Brulee, 020 Pure Petal, 905 Sophisticated, 410 Dreamer, 590 Trendy, 585 Bohemian, and 495 Sultry. Before the COVID situation I would get a gel manicure every two weeks. And now, I do not see myself going back to the nail salon. This mega formula lasts! My nails stay unchipped for 6 days straight! And when they started chipping it was only at the very tip of the nail! I typically only ever need two coats and I dont use a clear top coat. The colors are so pretty! The brush is super skinny I was worried at first, but it's super good, coverge and application is easy! I take off with regular acetone and comes right off – not sure about the glitter ones because I dont have any glitter colors yet, but I imagine it would take a little more effort to remove as with all glitter polishes. Not sure why people buy the $10+ nail polishes like Essie and OPI, when you can get two of these instead!! I would get all the colors if i could! Don't hesitate, get this polish!rissy808
I would definitely recommend this nail product if you also struggle with brittle nails prone to breakage. I use the clear as a base coat (although I wouldn’t wear it alone because it can look a little yellow, which seems to be common with clear coats, but figured I would mention it) and I do notice a difference – almost if my nails feel as if they’ve been more fortified. I would be curious to see if using one of the Mega Strength hardener pigmented shades on top of the clear coat would amplify its effect. I always struggle with painting my own nails in the first place, and I'm always looking for a top coat to make my nails look shiny and smooth like a gel polish but also dries fast. This top coat does just that. Sometimes I even use it alone to give my nails a nice shine. It doesn't stay tacky for very long and covers/smooths out any small imperfections in my base coat of color. The brush is big and wide which allows the whole nail to be covered in two swipes. It makes my nails feel very striong as well. Very nice polish! My only complaint is that the top coat peels off easily, especially around the cuticles. It doesn't take much to get a chip in it which also takes the underneath color off as well. It works well if you're the type to change the color of your nails every week but I like to get as long as possible out of my polishes so it is kind of frustrating. The polish had a strong smell. This smell (after painting my nails) would eventually disappear in a couple of days. Experience using it: I painted the nails on both hands, using neither a base nor top coat – two thin coats on my left hand, and two thick coats on my right hand. The bristles of the brush fanned out readily, covering my whole nail (and more, for smaller nails) in one fell swoop. Thinner coats dried fairly quickly, while thick coats took forever (45 mins!) to dry. After drying, my left hand had semi-sheer paint (this made the colour look like the pinkish taupe on the website), while my right hand had opaque paint (purplish taupe). The polish was glossy enough to make me skip putting a top coat. The polish lasted for over a week, but the polish on the sides of my nails chipped away within 3-4 days of applying the polish. That said, this only happened to the nails of fingers I use the most; the polish on my ring fingers and pinkies remained completely intact (I'm still waiting for them to show signs of wear). Even while chipping/wearing away, the polish remained perfectly smooth and pearly on my nails. Although I love Essie Nail Polish, I will give an honest review for this product. The colour that I got was Jewels and Jacquard. The outcome of the colour is actually prettier than I thought but it is not a colour that I would personally pay for. I prefer colours that my outfit can easily match. I love the brush the Essie gel couture nail polish has; It makes it very easy for me to apply. The Essie gel couture nail polish also dries in no time. If it were not for this colour, I would say that I totally love this Essie gel couture nail polish. I received this as a #freeproduct from Top Box to review. I have used this nail polish before and its a great polish to use. It lasts a lot longer than other nail polish brands, so you're not always having to redo your nails. Normally I wouldn't use such a light color, I prefer brighter more bold colors, but this pink was pretty on my finger nails. I do recommend using a primer color under this pink (Gossamer Garments) unless you like the sheerness of light pink. This was a cute color for my toe nails. I did find the brush to be a little big for my nail bed, which would leave a little polish on the side of my toe, but nothing a q-tip and remover can't fix! I love that this OPI Nature Strong nail polish is vegan, naturally derived, and uses recycled materials for the container! I was a little bit skeptical at first but OPI is a great quality brand so I was happy to try the two colors. The light peachy polish went on a little streaky but I was able to do 3 coats and it looked fine. The pink one was fine. Both applied smoothly and dried pretty quickly, which I was very happy with. I used a base coat and top coat, expecting some chipping to happen pretty quickly as I get with most polishes, but surprisingly I went nearly 6 days with no chips! And the chip I did get was very small. Super durable despite gardening, doing dishes, etc. I'm excited to buy other colors! This is definitely my fave nail polish and is better than other brands I have tried. I really like the message behind this line of nail polishes. I try to be more eco conscious with my purchases so I feel really good about buying this line vs. other nail polishes. I recently got the opportunity to try two of OPI's new Nature Strong nail polish. This polish claims it's vegan, made with 75% natural GMO-free ingredients and 20% recycled plastic. I did not realize nail polish wasn't naturally vegan, but read that some of the pigments and thickening agents can come from animal sources! Naturally I was hesitant about a "natural" nail polish, but as per usual OPI continues to impress. I used Knowledge is Flower on most of my nails, a beautiful pink/light mauve polish. This color is classic, would look good with most skin tones and went on flawlessly and smooth! I could've gotten away with one coat, but I added a second to cover up some spots I missed. I did an accent nail of A Clay in the Life, which is an ivory nude color. This one seemed a little thinner, as some nudes do, and took two coats for mostly full coverage, but could've used a third. I'm naturally fair skinned with neutral undertones and thought A Clay in the Life worked well on me, but was a little disappointed by the coverage in 2 coats. The formula on both is smooth, consistent and dried as quickly as normal OPI polish. I would happily purchase more colors of this environmentally conscious nail polish and recommend it to friends! OPI claims this polish is long lasting with up to 7 days of wear. I wore both colors with Duri Rejuvacote as a base coat and Seche Vite on top (which kind of defeats the purpose of natural nail polish!) and I started to get a few small chips on my pointer fingers by day 3. This is pretty typical for me with regular nail polish, so not off putting. I love OPI polish and will definitely try more colors from this Nature Strong line.Whitney1

First the polish: I received Decadence and applied it on Saturday evening. The color was fantastic and went on smoothly with no streaks or excessive running in two coats. The brush was a wide brush with the right amount of flex to the bristles that was perfect for application. Second the Top coat: Went on just as smoothly and evenly as the polish with a high shine as result. These things I loved about the polish and top coat however that was all that I can recommend about them. The polish took an extraordinarily long time to dry. It was almost 45 minutes before I wanted to attempt to apply the second coat and the top coat almost as long. By Sunday night it was already showing signs of chipping on my right index finger and thumb and by Monday night chipping on my left middle finger. Not long wearing at all. I love CND sticky base coat so I was excited to try this long wear formula but sadly I have been very disappointed i this product.misscass
I received a CND Vinylux 2-step Kit, complimentary, via Crowdtap, for reviewing purposes. The color I chose was Field Fox. It's a very pretty, light taupe color. The colored base coat is very easy to apply. I did two thin coats of the base, as instructed. The brush is nice and wide and the polish is a great consistency. You definitely need to wait a fair amount of time between coats – especially before applying the top coat. The top coat is thicker and clear. If you don't wait long enough before applying, the top coat will pull off some of the base. This polish wears really well. I did dishes, every day, with hot water and no gloves. It showed signs of wear, just at the tips, after the third day – but it never chipped. By the end of the fifth day, it did start peeling off – but I imagine it was having my hands hot water every day. I love this polish set. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because I really prefer polish with fewer chemicals that is better for the environment.jaimeedee
This CND Vinylux polish and top coat have been amazing! I was so impressed with the consistency of the polish and the wider application brush which made it so easy to paint my nails without getting extra polish on my fingers as I was painting. It dried super fast and I did 2 coats and a top coat in the time it would take for 1 coat of regular polish to dry. I'm also very impressed at how long the polish held up against chips or peeling. I applied the polish right before taking a 5 day across country trip to New York, and had my nails hold up for almost the entire trip without chipping. I wash my hands a lot and am pretty rough with them, but still have an awareness of trying to take good care of my nails. I highly recommend this CND Vinylux polish to anyone wanting to get more out of their polish, and without the time and fuss of typical nail polish. I love this color! I always love a nice deep red nail color and Elderberry was exactly what I was looking for. Ever since I tried this brand about a year ago I have thrown out my cheaper, short lasting drugstore nail polish and replaced them with different colors of Londontown. I can typically get my nail color to last a week on my fingernails whereas my old polishes would usually last 2-3 days before they started chipping badly. I am hard on my nails doing a lot of housework, dishes, washing cars, etc. but this nail polish lasts through it. It also seems to strengthen my nails when I wear it regularly. I received Invisible Crown as a gift along with Cheerio. I'm generally not a sheer polish lover. I also don't usually gravitate towards pale pink tones. I am honestly shocked at how much I love both these colors. Invisible Crown looks especially gorgeous on my nails. It drys like a high gloss gel manicure. It is so elegant and attractive and clean and fresh … I can't stop wearing it. I just keep going back for more! This company excels at sheers. Creams are a little less reliable. I'm buying the rest of the sheers so I have them all. They're THAT good. This one has more color than teatime. It's a bit more mauve/brown than pink. Same flawless coverage. 100 percent streak free with one coat. Goes on like no other polish I've used. Creamy in application, and color. Don't know how long it lasts, because I so enjoy doing it every other day 😀 Poor lighting but teatime on my middle finger, crowning crumpet on my ring finger. Clear on rest. One coat. I used this last night for the first time. I had done a design that I was really proud of, but when I put on the topcoat, it immediately smeared the design, even though the polish underneath had had plenty of time to dry. I went to bed an hour later, assuming it would be fine since this bills itself as a quick drying top coat. I woke up with sheet imprints and one nail with the polish pushed and crumpled so there was a large bare patch. I’m very disappointed in the product – maybe it’s just a bad batch, but it performed as if I’d not even bothered. Even hours later, the promised “super-hard finish” has not developed. If you want a quick-drying topcoat that has a hard finish that preserves designs, get something else.
I was really excited to try this top coat. I have quite a collection of them and am always looking to see what’s new. I was not overly impressed with this top coat. It looked flawless at first but the following day is when I started noticing trouble when the tips of my nails were already losing their color underneath and starting to show signs of wear. I know this is bound to happen but I take very god care of my nails and always wear gloves when washing dishes or using hot water for cleaning. Besides that, I thought it was a lovely polish that was super shiny. I also was unimpressed with how long my nails took to dry afterwards. It definitely wasn’t the quickest. This was my first Orly product to ever try and it definitely did not disappoint me. I had seen this brand at target but I didnt want to buy it and not like it so I just always stuck with Sally Hanson. Even though I dont necessarily like Sally's products I tend to buy and go with what i know instead of venturing out, I pain that on being a cancer. Last year my nails were in bad shape and I finally took the risk, not because i was brave but because the products I usually got were stole out of. This made my nails hard and felt good. It never yellowed or chipped and this bottle lasted me months which is rare because the one I bought of Sally's never made it a month before it was so goopy I couldn't apply it anymore. love this top coat! It definitely dries quickly, my nails are dry and hard within minutes – perfect if you are someone who paints their nails at night but wants to avoid getting sheet marks on the polish. I like the consistency, it is slightly on the thinner side, but is easy to manipulate and isn’t too runny. It dries to a shiny finish. I don’t have any issues with shrinkage using this top coat, my manicures always look in tip-top shape. This top coat is definitely chip resistant, I can usually get 5 days out of a mani when I use this, and I am someone who is quite hard on their hands. I also find that I don’t get tip wear when using this top coat. It is compatible with all of my nail polishes (mostly OPI and Essie with some SinfulColors and Essence). It is also reasonably priced too! I would 100% recommend this product to anyone who needs a quickly drying, long wearing top coat. I would definitely repurchase this for myself also. Love!flor.a
I love doing my nails at home and am always down to dry new products. By far, this has been my LEAST favorite item to have tried. When using this product, it caused a few air bubbles underneath my nail polish and not only does it take forever to dry, but when it actually does, it is almost impossible not to mess up your nails after that. I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! When it comes to nail polish, I tend to be quite skeptical especially since gel is a go-to. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this Essie polish due to its color, application and wear. In terms of color, this shade looks great with one coat or multiple depending on the look youre going for. And since it has a nice shimmer to it, it doesnt show imperfections or chips either. I love natural colors, so this one was an A+ for me. Because you can really build up the opacity of this polish, this made applying it really easy with three main swipes across the nail. And due to the shimmer, its really forgiving even if you do make a mistake. The brush was also quite flat and wide, which helped with the application process. (Drying time was quite short especially if you do thin layers). This polish was also great in terms of wear and is still holding up well after a good week of wearing it. Granted I did apply a topcoat, this still held up through housework and doing dishes by hand. In all, Im a big fan of this shade of Essie polish and think it would be perfect year round if not an easy to upkeep color in the summer months on my fingers and toes.AleksandraM
I am obsessed with Essie, that’s all I have bought since 10 years ago. I have tried Tuck it in my Tux and few others and decided Marshmallow has the best hue!!!! I love the color, not too white not pink, just right. The formula however is horrible. The first couple of times after opening the bottle is great except in order not to get streaks you have to apply 3 coats. After a few days of opening the bottle, the formula gets thick and clumpy and not usable!!! Also, the mandatory 3 layers make the nail polish to peel off in a day or two because it’s simply two thick and rubber feel like almost. Please note this is a constructive review for Essie, I am asking you to please change this formula since I love your products. I would love others to enjoy this wonderful nail polish but at this stage I am not able to use this color anymore. I don’t like anything with sparkle or shine and neither one of your colors mimic marshmallows. The open bottles show the clumps on top. Unfortunately my video would not upload. I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! I was sick of the colours you would get from OPI or the drugstore that just felt a bit too childish – I love pink and purple but I don’t need my nails to look like a kids bedroom wall. This nail polish is what I’ve been looking for! Subtle and creamy this just looks expensive on and is definitely for that ballerina off duty aesthetic everyone’s into atm. I usually redo my nails weekly – this nail polish last for that time. It does chip after that but I don’t use a base or top coat. Revlon Unicornicornicopia Holochrome nail polish is beautiful. It glides on smoothly as long as enough drying time (2-3 min between coats) is given. I initially put a second coat on 45 seconds later and had some clumpiness – user mistake. To me, Unicornicornicopia looks like a shimmery (not glittery or sand-like) lavender color that – with movement and light – looks like a bluish steel (grayish) color. So the polish color takes on differing shades as it maintains shimmer. Using no base coat or top coat, I wore this enamel for four days before chipping started. I imagine that it could be worn longer without chipping if basecoat and topcoat were used. To give even more depth of color, a third coat of Unicornicornicopia is a good idea. At a retail price of $6.49 Revlon Holochrome Nail Enamel is a great value. Unicornicornicopia could be worn for fancy (holiday, proms/homecomings, weddings, tea parties, etc) or be worn casually for a little sparkle day-to-day. It is truly Unicorn Holo Shimmer Magic. I've used Revlon Nail Enamel more years than I care to admit. this has always been my "go to" polish, in shade Serene (320) for work and :play:, Once in a while I'd lighten the shade up i the summer, but always back to the favorite. No, apparently it's been discontinued and what's left around is way too expensive to even think about buying. The biggest thing I love about this polish is it didn't destroy my nails. After taking the polish off, my nails weren't dry, brittle, chipping and didn't break as much when kept polished. Tried the gel nails once, took me months to get my nails re-grown, needless to say, I went right back to a lite shade of the enamel, then back to Serene. Won't make that mistake again. Question is, what shade will work as well as that, have Totally Toffee, but it's a bit darker and I absolutely don't do pinks or weird color. Am a porcelain skinned strawberry blonde with green eyes and reds/pinks look horrible on me. Any color with a gray overtone makes my nails look like they are dead. So, unless I can talk Revlon into bringing back that particular color, anyone have any ideas on shades along that line?Gigi
This review is technically supposed to be for the shade Privileged, but I have so many of these Revlon nail polishes that I would like to talk about all the ones I own. The formulation is pretty consistent across the board. The brush is a good size- not too thick, not too thin, not too sparse. It gives me the control that I need to get a thin and even layer on, as opposed to some cheaper brushes that would result in clumping or taking away product. The only shades I would say are little sheer and need 3 coats for the most impact are 660 Divine and 909 Sheer Petal. Divine doesn't look like it from just looking at the bottle, but once applied on the nails, is a vampy brownish red. Sheer Petal is quite pale and has a delicate kind of beauty, but beware, the sheerness can exaggerate an uneven application. All the other polishes I have look pretty great in 2 coats: 570 Vixen, 450 Hypnotic, 917 Plum Seduction, 215 Daydreamer, 640 Fearless, 715 Privileged, 415 Totally Toffee, 320 Serene, 915 Creme Brulee, 020 Pure Petal, 905 Sophisticated, 410 Dreamer, 590 Trendy, 585 Bohemian, and 495 Sultry. Here are some other notes that you may not be able to get from looking at the pictures on ulta.com: Glossy finish: Fearless, Privileged, Totally Toffee, Serene, Dreamer, Plum Seduction, Trendy Shimmery finish: Divine, Sophisticated has slight shimmer, Sultry has violet shimmers that shift to pink and gold, Bohemian has coarser shimmers- almost glittery Satin finish: Hypnotic, Creme Brulee, Pure Petal, Daydreamer has a light green shift Use a top coat to improve the longevity of the polish and try to buy these things when they're on sale.Sunny

They changed the formula! It was frosty white shimmer and now it is just glittery and it chips off within one day! My favorite nail polish is going in the garbage. Sally Hansen Diamond Strength is great nail polish. A lot of factors go into creating a manicure that lasts, so it's going to be different for everybody. I had really thin, peeling nails and a manicure lasted about a day on me before I started taking biotin supplements. Now manicures last 3-4 days, especially if my nails are shorter so there isn't as much flex of the nail. So to say a polish chips or not isn't really a good way to gauge it's quality. Eventually they're all going to chip. Sally Hansen Diamond Strength goes on smoothly and dries to a hard coating. The colors are very pretty. Five stars in my opinion.coveredincathair
Beautiful color and does not chip. Here’s a hint… No matter what polish you use.. you must prepare your nails for it. Wash your hands to clean your bare nails. Use a cotton ball and dab with alcohol to dry any oil. Use a buffer with the lightly grit side. Buff your bare nails . Don’t over do it. You just want to rough them up a little. The polish adheres much better. Use a base coat. Dry. Use 2 coats of polish (dry between). Use top coat. Do not wash dishes or scrub things without gloves! This will give you lasting polish! I appreciate seeing larger companies like Revlon make beauty products a bit safer when it comes to the ingredients they use. The Ultra HD Snap Nail Polish is a vegan formula that claims users only need one coat. I did find this to be true and since painting my nails isn’t often something I spend time on, I appreciated this user friendly aspect of the polish. The color certainly has a snap to it and upon first using it, it seemed a bit too bright for me. Once it dried however, I found myself liking it. The other colors in the line are perfect for spring and summer so I may purchase a few others. I coated my Revlon polish with Essie’s Always Transparent from their expressie line which dries quickly and is also vegan. I then added a drop of Olive June’s Dry Drops to seal the polish. Overall, I enjoyed this nail polish and recommend it for anyone looking for an option that doesn’t require as much of a time investment as others.lauren.d
The nail polish itself is easy to use it’s a thicker formula so it doesn’t seem to move around once u coat the nail. I love that it’s a vegan formula and quick drying as it says. I love the shape of the brush it is perfect. I’m not the biggest fan of the cap it’s chunky and I don’t feel I get a good grip with it like the standard nail polish cap. I wasn’t a fan of the color I received it was a very light warm tone brown. I feel like this color would flatter medium-dark skin much better as a perfect nude. Overall I enjoyed the experience of doing my nails with this polish since revlon is not cruelty free I don’t think I will be picking up more shades but I would if they were cruelty free! Will update with the staying power of this polish! I did receive this product for review from influenster UPDATE: The nail polish lasted really well! The first chip happened on day 6! Impressive! First I want to start off by saying I LOVE the color I have an olive skin tone and this berry shade is beautiful and I think it would look great on any skin tones. I loved that I could swipe one time and you did not need another layer it is not opaque at all, but actually very pigmented and thicker than other nail formulas I’ve used. I used the nail kale base coat from Nails Inc. London (love this brand for gel like nails) then topped it with this revlon nail polish. I love using that base coat because it makes my nails look like gel without gel. I did do, two layers although I could’ve just done one, and then topped it with the clear Essie brand top coat. I did my ring finger with a different nails inc color, and that one has not chipped but within a day all of my revlon ones have chipped so this is not a long lasting nail polish at all. If that is your style then you may love this, but I don’t. I actually prefer the dashing diva sticker nails more than painting my nails because it’s easier, cuter designs, and less time. It is $8 which I feel is a reasonable price for nail polish and you can tell it’ll last a long time. It definitely quick dried! That was something I did like. It still had that strong nail polish smell though. It hasn’t damaged my nails and my nails do look glossy, and it has a really rich color so that’s nice. They have a wide arrange of colors up to 24 I think anyone could find a shade they’d like. Overall if you’re into the chipped look or quick one swipe nails and don’t mind touching them up you’d love these.christina .l

There is a lot that I like about this “It Takes Two” Miracle Gel nail polish and top coat. First, the color! I’m wearing Sugar Fix which is a bright, powdery blue perfect for summer! Second, I like the size and convenience of this tube; perfect to fit in your bag and have a mani-on-the-go! One side has the color and the other a top coat. Thirdly, no base coat needed! Now one thing I think needs improvement: it states to apply two color coats, wait five minutes, then apply the gel top coat. I waited slightly longer but when I applied the top coat, two of my nails smeared because I pressed too hard with the brush. It wasn’t terrible but something to be aware of. I simply re-applied on those areas and it dried fine. I think this needs more time to dry before adding the top coat. Also, you’ll need to hold onto the base of the tube as you’re applying or else it might fall over as you dip the brush in. This isn’t so much a needed improvement but rather the outcome of the sleek tube design. I’ve read a lot of reviews on this product and most of them seem to be color-related. I obviously can only speak to the color I used which went on decent the first coat and fully covered with the second. This does last a few days without heavy chipping. You get minor wear at the tips but I found this to last longer than a typical nail polish. If you follow me, I’d like to first say thank you so much! While I am admittedly by no means an expert on nail polish, I was far beyond satisfied, in fact, I was completely impressed with both the color and the quality of this nail polish. It dries quick, goes on thick and lasts! But, most importantly, the color is awesome. It is totally unique as I have certainly never seen this color before. It is predominantly silver- very shiny silver. What makes this color unique is the shade of pine green mixed in with the dominant metallic sheen. The brighter the light, the more the green shows. So basically it looks ever so slightly different every time you look at it- which to me is super cool! Highly Recommended!
This color is really nice. I LOVE IT! If you like sparkles, use this color with INSTA-DRY 258 SHOOTING STAR on top of it. You can use any color of XTREME WEAR and add Bling. How I applied; one generous coat, let dry. Then add 258 SHOOTING STAR on top; 2 generous coats. When using Sparkles/Bling on top, make sure the coats are very generous, let dry between each application. Also if you miss areas for sparkles, you can reapply the glitter where you want it. Don't worry about imperfections because the glitter will dry as if you applied it with brush smoothly. Using these two colors will give you a ROSE GOLD SPARKLE APPEARANCE. The liquid is clear. Apply more coats depending on how much bling you want. Will last 1 week or more depending on how much you wash your hands or using cleaning products without gloves.
