20 Best Curly Hair Wig (2024 Update)

I actually have this wig in multiple colors. This brand is very cheap but I love it. I usually have to do some plucking of it before wearing it but it’s totally worth it for the price and the feel. Most of their wigs are around 20 dollars. This brand always has lace on the front every time I have bought a wig from them. Even if it’s a little piece, it does help it look more natural as compared to some of the other brands I have used.krysi.h

Loved Dylan in shade 14/26A so much that I bought another one in shade 24/14. Dylan can be worn straight out of the box. The wavy curls look natural and feel so feminine. When they loosen, just spray with water and scrunch for beautiful wavy curls.Andrea

I've purchased several wigs from Paul Young and have been extremely satisfied with the fit, color and quality. They are comfortable, stylish, and sometimes I even forget I'm wearing a wig! I've had several complements on how nice my hair looks and little do most people know I'm wearing a wig! My latest purchase is the Dylan wig and I'm really happy with it. Arrived via USPS in very good condition, with normal time frame for USPS. The wig was easy to put on and take off. There were instructions for all of my purchase. I lost my hair within 6 days due to chemotherapy, so the helpful instructions were appreciated. The wig was similar to the online photo, but less curly, and that was a slight disappointment. Since it had just arrived at my time of need I am very thankful for the purchase. I have ordered 2 more different styles with some additional accessories. Wore this wig on a flght and every woman on the flight, stopped by my seat to admire it. Wow what a surprise, most of them, actually applauded me and my hair style, it was at least twenty- six women, which does not include the stewards working on this flight, add four more women tothis group of admirers. LOVEEEE THIS WIG!! The bangs were a bit too perfect but I cut them a bit to get them to how I liked them. Its a bit tight but I do have a big head and then again I know it’s not going anywhere lol gotten so many compliments!diana.c

I've had this wig over a year now (15-16 months). I absolutely love the look but even with caring for it and brushing it daily (the days I wore it) the very back gets severely tangled. I will still wear the wig, but only if I want to be bothered with brushing longer than usual. If you wear wigs often I recommend maybe switching wigs out, but either way this is a great wig for the price. Bought it on Amazon for $17 so I can't really complain. Definitely became my go-to for like 9 months straight. I didn't have issues with tangling until the end of that period.andréa.g

Hair is shedding as I unpack it from original package. Ends and curls are frizzy and does not look as shown on website. I called I was told it will cost me about $10 to exchange. Why? Merchandise is of poor quality, cut-throat customer service. I am not happy and can't wear this wig. I refuse to exchange for a fee. I called to complain minutes it was delivered and I opened the package. Not won! Frustrating. I will not buy from this merchant again.Ruth

The color was nice on this wig, but I could not see how it would really look on me. I ordered the other mixed colored one, as well. I had to leave the cardboard attached. There is no way to see how I would look without a big piece of cardboard hanging from the wig. So, I guess I will never really know, since I returned both colors of this wig.Wynona

Well wasted my money yet again. The photo looks like a nice short wig. Once i opened it. there as a dead bug right on the top. Which means it was killed in transit. the wig has 10 times more hair than the wig in the photo. I can’t even wear it!! I Wasted my money!! Tried to trim it. it looked even worse. The wig is pretty. It feels good and the curls look good. I just cant seem to make the front of it look like it does in the pic…might be just me. Im not a hair stylist. It is great for the price. I would recommend.grams_2_two

The shape of this wig is totally different than the picture. The length is quite shorter than expected as well. I was hoping to just put this on and go but I had to cut it and try and fix the unruly waves and coax them into a decent shape.pearce494

What kind of fiber it is never mentioned! That should be included. How washable is it? I wouldn't buy this without more information.Linda

Would give it no stars if I could. Not at all what the hair looks like. This hair came like a curly costume wig that tangles when you take it out of the package. Would have thrown it in the trash but I let my daughter use it as a costume wig when she dresses up as a princess. But upset that it is not what is advertised.bianca

This is the beginning of my journey so my issues may be just that I am starting this journey kicking and screaming. I know all the YouTube reviewers say this is wonderful and fun but it isn't what I want to do – I wish my bio hair looked like this wig. It is lovely – soft and flattering for probably anyone. However, I may still return, I have tried in on for a bit several days in a row, still not sure. These may be things I just have to live with now that I have to do this to have normal 'hair'. 1.) Lace front – if I do keep this one, I will NEVER buy a lace front again. Unfortunately, it is very hard to find a nice, well made hairpiece without it because everyone else seems to love lace front – NOT ME. I don't like that you cannot pull your bio hair out from under (I know that it is great if you have no hair, but I have plenty around my face and would like to incorporate – Sincerely Yours by RW was perfect but too short). And though it DOES look very nice (I really didn't think it would look so realistic, it truly looks like a real hairline up close), it is HORRIBLY itchy. Like stiff, itchy netting and I can't wait to take it off. Maybe if I try gluing it won't itch so much? 2. I TOO much hair, as with most all of the hair pieces. While I can make this one work because it thankfully isn't LOADED up with that fake feeling/looking permatease (I know some people love it, I do NOT on me), it is still GOBS of hair. I push my hair behind my ears and I would have to have massive ears to fit the gobs falling in front of my face behind my ear; it is like trying to tuck a large rope behind my ear. Not sure why manufacturers think someone who has had hair loss or very thin hair all of the sudden will feel comfortable with a wooly mammoth strapped tightly to their raw noggin. Again, this one could be okay because I could take thinning shears to it and make it work if I keep this wig. 3. Speaking of the front bit… as other reviewers remarked, OMG does it want to go in your face. I don't want to use any product or heat on it yet because I am not sure I am keeping it so VERY difficult to tell if it will work because that is absolutely a problem. Would probably have to thin and cut that into layers – it is very pretty but no one goes around with a big chunk of hair hanging down like that all day. All of the hair on the cap is geared to go absolutely FORWARD, not sure why. It is something that would have to be worked out with heat, water and product. 4. Cap construction – Not super comfortable. Again, this is all new to me so maybe I am doing something wrong. I am using a wig grip so not sure if that adds to my discomfort. I will say that the seams around the mono part are thick and itchy. I would rather a whole mono top or a basic cap, rather than that seamed bit. Too much going on in the cap. So – if you are a regular wig wearer, this style will probably work for you; I am just not use to all these itches and things going on my head. Sort of like a pretty but uncomfortable underwire bra – you can deal but can't wait to get it off at the end of the day – that is how it feels for me. If this had the cap of the Sincerely Yours, I would have found my piece. Again, not sure if I am returning or not, but it is so expensive for me, for them not to be spot on. I need something that looks like ME and I can wear every day and it looks like normal, non-poufy, non-shiny hair and isn't going to rub my ear or itch my head, etc. I am probably hoping for too much. 🙁LJT

Cap is so comfortable. I had to cut on the bangs a little because they went directly into my eyes. However! The color more than made up for it. The eggplant shade is absolutely beautiful and perfect for the fall season! If your bio hair is or was brown and you are looking for brown yet with a twist of pow…. Choose this color! I have yet to be disappointed with the Raquel Welch brand wigs. Thank you Wigstudio1 for always getting my orders to me in such a timely manner. Makes me so happy to know an order is heading my way. I just wish I had discovered wigs many years ago when I started losing my bio hair would have saved me many tears when I was buying every product out there to get my hair back. I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. But everyone tells me that this style looks like an old woman and I‘m just too young to look that old… 😅 Of course Wigstudio1 is not to blame, their service was first class, as always!Sarah C.

Was so disappointed In this style. I have worn Aspen wigs for several years and this style that I loved in the picture was totally different. The sides came past my shoulders and the back was way too long. Had my stylist trim it and it still looked awful. Just wasted $114.00. Will stick to “Sophie” and “Nicole” in the future.Judith G.
