IDIOT PROOF!!!!!! This was the best money I’ve ever spent. No more 45-60$ manicures (not to mention the cost of pedicures!) I love how easy it is to use, I find myself doing my nails at least once every few weeks and gelish is very easy to remove with the correct acetone products. The learning curve isn’t too bad, you need to be careful not to apply too close to the nail bed, seal the tips and apply thin even coats. The only issues I’ve ever had with gel manicures is that they can sometimes peel off. This is due to my nails not being completely free of oils and dehydrated before application. After a few tries you’ll be a pro and the money you’ll save is incredible. Everyone should get one of these!katya.l

I probably won't use some of the shades but it had the best option on Amazon for neutral + glitter combinations. The shades I am wearing in this photo are 030 (the pink), 108 (white as a base for ring finger), and 278 (gold glitter). I like that they included the base and top coat; which makes it easy to do a complete look. Warning – the bottles with the actual shades are quite small. Only the base top coat are full size. I had to switch it around with one that I already had for it to turn on. Secondly, It doesn't actually cure the gel polish. I made sure to put it on very thin, But it deposits almost no color. After two coats that was supposed to be purple in brown. The lights are so minimal that You're not sure if it's actually hitting the areas that needs to. I ended up curing for 3 minutes on each layer and it still did nothing. When I went to put the top coat on, The nail polish was still completely liquid. In the end I ended up being able to wash my hands with soap and water and get it all off. Waste of an hour.amberlee.j

I used a 1 minute cure time with a UV/LED lamp for each layer of base, color, and top coat that was applied. Thin coats are key in getting the polish to last, as is doing the proper prep work to your nails (buffing and cleaning the surface) prior to any application of the formula.The base coat is slightly tacky after curing it, which helps to get the color coat to stick and not shrink. The top coat is a no wipe formula which leaves a smooth surface and a plump and glossy shine. As for the durability, a manicure done with this base and top coat along with an Aimeili color gel lasts for 14 days with minimal wear to the tips and hardly a chip in sight. Individually, the base and top coat sell for $6.99 each, but as a set, you will only pay $9.99. This is insanely cheap as you get 10 mL of polish in each bottle. This was my first experience with gel nail polish. It is a little tricky to do on yourself but I got the hang of it. I got an amazing deal on this set and it only costed me about 30$ for everything. I have not used the product yet, so I cannot give a full review but the problem I’ve already encountered is the lack of clear directions. That’s what happens when it comes in from China. It’s very frustrating to figure out the steps when you only get a very small directions sheet that was buried in the nail polish.. I purchased the product about 2 months ago. I read articles and reviews and watched videos about how to apply acrylic nail powder-tips and tricks BEFORE I attempted my first application. I have thin weak nails, that would bend and break. Previously, I went to a nail salon about every three weeks to have acrylics put on my nails. I have the Red Carpet base, acrylic powder, activator, top coat and brush softener. I have not had to use the brush softener yet. I was hoping to strengthen my natural nails, allowing them to grow a natural length. I have had great results using this product. It takes about 20 minutes to strengthen my nails, start to finish. I have only used the pink or the clear acrylic powder, and do not apply a polish, other than the top coat. My nails look natural, and are not too thick. The product gives them enough strength to let them grow. I recommend a small make up brush-to lightly dust off excess acrylic powder once nails are set. I also recommend cleaning nails, brushes, and bottle thread with a lens wipe. (I usually use two eyeglass lens wipes per application) I also recommend working quickly and applying thin layers of base coat and acrylic powder. I have probably done my nails 10 times, and all bottles still work perfectly, and brushes are the same as when I received them. I also use a nail buffer and good nail fiiles. This product is worth the money and I am happy with the results. I will purchase this again.Jen M
I want to start by saying I know how to do dip nails so this wasn't a user error. I didn't want to have to buy an entire new kit because I just needed the brush on gel. I used this for the first time on my daughters nails and the brush dried out after the first hand… I used my brush cleaner and tried on my own nails and it dried so bad! Half of my nail didn't even hold the dip powder. I will be returning and getting my money back. Trash.Ash
This kit works so I will rate it at 5 stars. However, it takes time and effort to remove the gel. Used it to remove gel from a pedicure. I had to leave the foils on for at least 20-30 minutes because the recommended 10-15 minutes wasn't long enough. Then I had to keep reapplying the remover and using the stick to get the last parts of gel off and then buff the nails down. Took me a little over an hour to remove all of the gel. This is a good alternative if you don't feel like going to nail salon to get gel removed but just be aware, it's not a quick removal process, at least it wasn't for me.Julie

Ive never used gel and this intro kit taught me how. DVD in the kit helps and YouTube videos. I recommend this and will probably buy another one myself. Everything is provided, the brush as well. Buy 91% isopropyl alcohol for cleaning. The gel is sticky yet levels out nicely. Filing is easier and the nails are not chipping or lifting. I followed the instructions as best I could and the gel cured great. For me, it was good that I was not pressed for time. Ithinking I may possibly have a faulty uvb light. Ready to try my reptile light lmao. I've had this product for a little while now and its seems om the only one having trouble lol. I have a mid grade uvb light that was recommended followed the directions and I just cant get anything to fully cure. I can do acrylic nails with very little trouble and I had amazing luck with the kiss easy gel nail set ( no light needed ) but I cant get any of my other gel fillers, polishes ect to harden. I'm completely stumped.
I'm thoroughly impressed with my IBD Builder Gel Kit. I only have some cheap stuff I bought from the Wish app to compare it to but I've already done my nails twice with my IBD kit and each time my nails held up wonderfully to everything I put my hands through. I wash my hands a lot for work and wear gloves so my hands often get hot and sweaty. I also bump my nails up against stuff a lot and I have yet to have a nail break or pop off. IBD Builder Gel is fantastic and I cant wait to purchase the full sized jars!

This is my go to color! It’s absolutely the perfect shade of pale pink! the color build up is great, you can do light or more opaque. I’ve even done a French fade using this color alongside some white acrylic paint (youtubed it) and it turned out so so good. I cannot tell you how much I love this color! So I got my kit and there was a lot of air trapped in there, and it seemed like they weren’t very full, it was also very thick and hard to get out. The nail file was broken, but I didn’t really care about that. The UV light says it’s rechargeable but it isn’t? To be honest I haven’t really looked into it so I may be misunderstanding something. I contacted the seller explaining everything, and they sent me a new kit. It did have different dual forms, and the stickers were different, which I didn’t mind at all, but thought I should mention. The bottles are fuller, and seem more pigmented, I haven’t played with them as much but they came out so smooth that I doubt I’ll have any issues with application. I just had the worst experience with a different seller, so the fact that they apologized and sent me an entire new kit is so impressive to me. I will say that the first kit I received, the polygel was very sheer.. like clear. Like chapstick clear. I have only swatched the ones from the second kit, but they seem so much more pigmented that I think they will be a true jelly look. I really think the first kit just was defective or something and the sellers handled it like true pros. I will definitely be purchasing from them again!Tara

I love the brushes that come with the sxc kits. So far they have been the best in any kit that I’ve gotten. The poly gel is not sticky like some others and is really easy to use. I think this is a really great deal price wise. The lamp is awesome too it has a sensor so when a hand goes in it turns on and shuts off when the hand is removed, there are also 30s and 60s buttons on it.
