I probably won't use some of the shades but it had the best option on Amazon for neutral + glitter combinations. The shades I am wearing in this photo are 030 (the pink), 108 (white as a base for ring finger), and 278 (gold glitter). I like that they included the base and top coat; which makes it easy to do a complete look. Warning – the bottles with the actual shades are quite small. Only the base top coat are full size. I had to switch it around with one that I already had for it to turn on. Secondly, It doesn't actually cure the gel polish. I made sure to put it on very thin, But it deposits almost no color. After two coats that was supposed to be purple in brown. The lights are so minimal that You're not sure if it's actually hitting the areas that needs to. I ended up curing for 3 minutes on each layer and it still did nothing. When I went to put the top coat on, The nail polish was still completely liquid. In the end I ended up being able to wash my hands with soap and water and get it all off. Waste of an hour.amberlee.j

As for the durability, a manicure done with this base and top coat along with an Aimeili color gel lasts for 14 days with minimal wear to the tips and hardly a chip in sight. Individually, the base and top coat sell for $6.99 each, but as a set, you will only pay $9.99. This is insanely cheap as you get 10 mL of polish in each bottle. Other gel top and base coats easily cost more than double that price for even less polish inside, and the ones from Aimeili are of an equal quality to them, if not better. I actually have the 16 color + base and top coat kit but it wasn't available for me to select. All in all, this is a nice kit. I probably won't use some of the shades but it had the best option on Amazon for neutral + glitter combinations. The shades I am wearing in this photo are 030 (the pink), 108 (white as a base for ring finger), and 278 (gold glitter). I like that they included the base and top coat; which makes it easy to do a complete look. Warning – the bottles with the actual shades are quite small. Only the base top coat are full size. But that's okay with me since I wanted to test out the formula and sample their shades prior to committing to a full size bottle. Overall, pretty good…for now. We shall see.vicki.n
I love this product. Since getting the nail kit I have saved so much time and money avoiding going to the nail salon. The kit is super easy to use, but with practice you can create such fun designs. This is the worst 🤣 it's trash. I really had high hopes for this. I got it for mother's day. First, it came with a faulty power cord. I had to switch it around with one that I already had for it to turn on. Secondly, It doesn't actually cure the gel polish. I made sure to put it on very thin, But it deposits almost no color. After two coats that was supposed to be purple in brown. The lights are so minimal that You're not sure if it's actually hitting the areas that needs to. I ended up curing for 3 minutes on each layer and it still did nothing. When I went to put the top coat on, The nail polish was still completely liquid. In the end I ended up being able to wash my hands with soap and water and get it all off. Waste of an hour.amberlee.j
With the Covid-19 I haven’t been able to get my nails done. I am one who has gotten their nails done every 2 weeks for the past 4 years so you can imagine how upset I was when the salon closed! Ive never used gel and this intro kit taught me how. DVD in the kit helps and YouTube videos. I recommend this and will probably buy another one myself. Everything is provided, the brush as well. Buy 91% isopropyl alcohol for cleaning. The gel is sticky yet levels out nicely. Filing is easier and the nails are not chipping or lifting. I followed the instructions as best I could and the gel cured great. For me, it was good that I was not pressed for time. Ithinking I may possibly have a faulty uvb light. Ready to try my reptile light lmao. I've had this product for a little while now and its seems om the only one having trouble lol. I have a mid grade uvb light that was recommended followed the directions and I just cant get anything to fully cure. I can do acrylic nails with very little trouble and I had amazing luck with the kiss easy gel nail set ( no light needed ) but I cant get any of my other gel fillers, polishes ect to harden. I'm completely stumped.
I'm thoroughly impressed with my IBD Builder Gel Kit. I only have some cheap stuff I bought from the Wish app to compare it to but I've already done my nails twice with my IBD kit and each time my nails held up wonderfully to everything I put my hands through. I wash my hands a lot for work and wear gloves so my hands often get hot and sweaty. I also bump my nails up against stuff a lot and I have yet to have a nail break or pop off. IBD Builder Gel is fantastic and I cant wait to purchase the full sized jars!
