20 Best Gold Glitter Nail Polish (2024 Update)

I really like the pale pink shade. The shade, called Sweet Surrender, is soft and feminine. I love the brand: the nail polishes are always glossy and easy to apply. The reason I took away 1 star was because after 2 coats, the color was still weak and I needed to apply 3 coats to have the color really show. I don't usually like 3 coats of nail polish since it takes forever and lots of time to dry. Still, with lots of time and 3 coats, it is a pretty polish.beckah.m

Second time, nails were lightly buffed/filed (mid nail bed to the free tip), polish applied, left to air dry and lasted about 3-4 days until I had tiny cracks way on the end of the free tips. Plus this was surprising after doing many chores. PROS: • fast drying • one coat is enough • perfect brush tip • no UV light required • consistency is just right • beautiful array of shades CONS: • top coat was not effective • top coat made polish peel faster • cost is okay ($10 each)maribel.d

Fabulous colour – great polish. I was pleased to find this on line. I had gel nail polish applied in a salon in the same colour which lasted well .I wanted to go over it to colour in the nail bed growth until my appointment to have the gel removed and re done next week end. This worked perfectly. Ill use it again when I do my own manicure another time. The polish was a good price and arrived quickly , well packaged. So this polish is definitely not the best quality but it's typically $1 so we can't expect too much. For what it is it works well. Especially the color #447 Jewel Tone. I like to put it over a black base (2 coats black 2 coats glitter) and it's beautiful!! I am not typically big on doing my nails, especially myself so I try to stick to basics and darker colors that hide imperfections so this jewel tone glitter is perfect! I can't wait to try it over other darker base colors to see the variations in the glitter. As far as quality goes I am super pleasantly surprised at how long this lasts. I use a Sally Henson base and top coat so that probably helps but for the difference in price to the designer polishes I am ok with using good base/top coats and having my polish last a little less time. #nails #nailart #nailfie #lacolorsjennifer.h

Great price on great nail polish. This polish lasts longer than most cheaper polishes. This is perfect to put over top of reds or darker pinks. I used hot blooded with this glitter pink over top for Christmas get together. Very pretty! I got lots of compliments on the color. Saved some money doing it myself instead of going to a Nail Salon. So I know on the website the picture looks like a baby blue but in reality, it's actually a pastel aquamarine. A very light color reminds me of a nice beach day and is perfect for the spring or summer season. You have to apply 2 coats to achieve its full effect. It's a bit on the thicker side, not sure if that is normal for L.A. Colors nail. You can buy them at Family Dollar for $1.25 which is not a Bad Steal.kimberly.l

I work in a warehouse, I use tools and have my hands in machines all day and it didn't chip at all. (I used 3 coats) however i had another shade that chipped and budged just from washing dishes and playing with a one year old. in any other case I'd say its way too expensive to risk getting a shade that has a 50/50 chance of chipping easily, but target has a good return policyM

I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! Essie has great new limited edition fall colors just in time for "swetta weatha" and I'm really feeling them. I have Feelin' Amped, High Voltage Vinyl and Off the Record. My two favorites are Feelin' Amped and High Voltage Vinyl. Feelin' Amped is an intense but unique blue that reminds of a mix between cobalt blue and peacock blue. You only need one coat of polish since the polish covers very well and has a really smooth, shiny finish. This color would also look amazing if you added a mattifying powder to it as well. High Voltage Vinyl is a gorgeous onyx base with gold. I didn't like it very much at first because I was probably still in summer mode, but now that it's fall, this color would go perfectly with a pair of black jeans and a black leather jacket. It's an interesting color since it takes on olive green tint in some lights, but in the sun, you can definitely see the beautiful gold tones. Off the Record is your classic, elegant wine color. It goes well with any outfit and any skin tone…You can't go wrong with a nice merlot color…it's perfect for this season and the next!Lovely1

There is a lot that I like about this “It Takes Two” Miracle Gel nail polish and top coat. First, the color! I’m wearing Sugar Fix which is a bright, powdery blue perfect for summer! Second, I like the size and convenience of this tube; perfect to fit in your bag and have a mani-on-the-go! One side has the color and the other a top coat. Thirdly, no base coat needed! Now one thing I think needs improvement: it states to apply two color coats, wait five minutes, then apply the gel top coat. I waited slightly longer but when I applied the top coat, two of my nails smeared because I pressed too hard with the brush. It wasn’t terrible but something to be aware of. I simply re-applied on those areas and it dried fine. I think this needs more time to dry before adding the top coat. Also, you’ll need to hold onto the base of the tube as you’re applying or else it might fall over as you dip the brush in. This isn’t so much a needed improvement but rather the outcome of the sleek tube design. I’ve read a lot of reviews on this product and most of them seem to be color-related. I obviously can only speak to the color I used which went on decent the first coat and fully covered with the second. This does last a few days without heavy chipping. How I applied; one generous coat, let dry. Then add 258 SHOOTING STAR on top; 2 generous coats. When using Sparkles/Bling on top, make sure the coats are very generous, let dry between each application. Also if you miss areas for sparkles, you can reapply the glitter where you want it. Don't worry about imperfections because the glitter will dry as if you applied it with brush smoothly. Using these two colors will give you a ROSE GOLD SPARKLE APPEARANCE. The liquid is clear. Apply more coats depending on how much bling you want. Will last 1 week or more depending on how much you wash your hands or using cleaning products without gloves. Ok so I absolutely love this brand! DnD is AMAZING! I went and got a pedicure with a glitter color c DND *Duo Gel* (Gel Matching Polish) Spring Set 448 – Snow Flakes alled snow way! And I I'm completely amazed by this stuff it is so great it lasts a long time. I couldn't figure out How to get the exact one for the review but this stuff is amazing I do my own nails and I cannot tell you enough how much I love it!kelsea.l

This is a beautiful color and the product itself is fantastic. I have used this alone and in conjunction with glitter polish. I like that DND comes with both a gel and a regular polish version of the colors sold. As far as this color- I would describe the color as a light to medium mauve. I usually just use one coat (of the gel polish) if I’m using a glitter gel on top. On its own I use two coats. I use the DND base and top coat as well. I think the gel polish lasts about a week and a half to two weeks on my fingernails and about a month or so on my toenails. I am washing my hands and doing dishes often, and I forget to wear gloves when cleaning sometimes. Of course it lasts a little longer when done professionally but I try to save a little money sometimes! I use a variety of Salley Hansen products, loyally have experienced nothing but good quality. I bought this nail art pen in the hopes that using would make my smile lines for french manicures I wear to work crisp on point. The first few uses were just okay, the color wasn't quite as opaque as I hoped so I had to go over my lines 2 or 3 times. Then the consistency changed, I don't know if it was because it was beginning to dry out but the polish started looking like I was trying to do my nails using white out. I then began to find small particles of dried polish throughout anything I tried to draw. It then completely clumped up wouldn't even come out of the pen at all. This was after maybe 6 or 7 uses. I ended up throwing it away. Maybe just a bad batch? It worked just fine for the 1st 2 or 3 times. I don't think I would repurchase this particular product againjessica.l

I LOVE this polish! I bought the Disco Ball color, which is clear with holographic glitter in it. My picture does NOT do it justice at all! The 3 pink fingernails have this polish on them and they are gorgeous! The polish dries pretty quickly. I usually don't like using polish because I always make a mess of it and get smudges, etc. But this is a nice overlay over nail strips that I have. It applies smoothly and easily. I put a gel top coat over it so it has lasted over a week and still looks like it does in the picture. At a little over $2 I think this is a great value to make your mainicures POP! I have not tried to remove it yet, but using those clips that go over your nails with remover on cotton pads and leaving it on for about 5 minutes or so, should easily remove it, even though it's glitter.JustRambling

So I have an obsession for glitter like true obsession! Love everything that has glitter. When L’Oreal launched few glitter nail coats I always wanted to try the golden one as it adds an extra charm to ur nails and make them look happy and bright. So this one comes with chunks of glitter and mind u the glitter looks really pretty when worn single or on any matte shade. It makes my nails look like disco ball which I love! I usually wear double coats being a glitter lover. My advice would be to place the glitter rather than dragging it as u would get little amounts when dragged. The maximum life span would be I say 3-4 days after that it may start chipping off. My personal favourite would be over a black or red nail paint. They are quite affordable and widely available. L'Oréal, L'Oréal, L'Oréal…. you bloody legend. Thank you. I was given four of your beautiful shades as a gift and it is by far the best nail polish I have ever used. I have a thousand bottles of every other nail polish brand in existence but I never had I had such an effortless and long lasting experience. My first impression was that bottles are really cute, with all your vibrant colours and gold lids. The 5ml bottle is smaller then other brands but will give me an opportunity to try all of your gorgeous shades. I applied Perle De Jade first and as a girl who typically only wore reds and pinks I feel liberated. This gorgeous Tiffany blue colour looks amazing on my hands and has a perfect gloss finish. I applied two thin coats without use of a base or top coat, and found that the polish was so easy to apply. It was a great consistency and glided on effortlessly with the large brush (Even my right hand had perfect application- that never happens to me). The colour is very pigmented and rich, with a great gloss after drying. The polish dried really quickly so I could be back to business straight afterwards. Because it dried quickly I had no issues with smudging or ruining my manicure (which happens to me most times I use other polishes). Two thin coats without the use of a top coat has lasted me over a week without any chipping , peeling, flaking or going dull and i haven't had to do any touch ups. I have since gone and applied a beautiful coat of Scarlett Vamp which is a gorgeous deep red on my toes and had another effortless application. Overall, L'Oréal has become my new favourite nail polish brand and I am going to race of to the shop to purchase these in every shade (as well as a top coat). L'Oréal nail polish is one of my favorite products in this brand. I have several colors and I really really love them. They are very pigmented and never patchy. they take a bit of time to dry but it's worth the pay off at the end of it all. this is my preferred brand to take to the nail salon for my session. they have a nice color selection. The only reason this gel polish doesn't get a 5 star is because it is an absolute pain to get off. I can soak it and soak it for what seems like hours and I still have to file it off or scrape with an orange stick. The colours are beautiful, it is easy to apply for a beginner and it doesnt pool at the edges of your nail. Another great bonus is that the top coat does not require alcohol wiping, so for those with tight c curved nails, like me, you get much better coverage and top coat seal!kayla.m

Who knows when their overhead mechanism was made. I had the manual and that was no help. So the hardest part was finding the correct setup code [which I then wrote down]. But it does just exactly what it is supposed to do. But do keep your manual. Sometimes a power outage will require a reset. I received this Morgan Taylor polish in "It's a Lily" for free from another program outside of Influenster. The color is very pretty and spring appropriate; it reminds me of spring blooms, like tulips. I really like the brush and it seems to be a bit wider than a standard nail polish brush, making it easier to apply. I did not like the consistency of this lacquer though. It's a bit on the runny / watery side and difficult to apply due to this. It is also a bit thin and definitely requires several coats for the color to really pop. I used it with the top coat I was also provided for free, Morgan Taylor's "React" no light extended long wear top coat. With the top coat, my polish lasted a good week before starting to look rough You can find my review on that product elsewhere, but with using a top coat I can't really speak for this lacquer's longevity on it's own. All in all, I like this polish and the color. It's a bit on the pricey side for polish, ranging from $6-10 at most retailers, so I'm not sure I would use it all the time but would definitely consider purchasing a couple different shades, especially if on sale or with coupons.cassandra .t

Anyone considering setting up an at home gel kit with Gelish…. JUST DO IT!! I had never been that into nail polish since I always dented it as it was drying, it could get everywhere, and even if the application looked perfect, I knew that would last 48hours max before chipping. So I tried gel. I purchased a starter kit with Gelish and a small LED lamp back around 20019 and I've never looked back. My collection continues to grow and grow and I finally upgraded to the best LED lamp in the market – the official big Harmony lamp which is amazing. Also, my nails always were weak and peeled. Now I have long, strong nails that people enviously comment on. I could talk about this forever but here's what you need to know. Don't buy UV – it's suspected to be dangerous for skin and takes a long time. Just go LED – Shellac is really the only brand that's stuck in the UV land. Almost everything else is LED compatible. You only need to buy the Gelish base, a colour, and the top coat. You don't need PH Bond or cleanser or remover or anything else (you may find your nails are particularly oily and require the PH Bond later, but experiment first rather than wasting money). Where to buy these things? If you're in Australia go to Harehouse Warehouse to look at the colours. They sell Minis for $20 which is wayyyy too expensive. Then find a seller in your State on eBay (to minimise postage costs) and buy full size bottles from them for $20 once you've picked a colour in real life at the shop. The branded cleanser and remover are just expensive ways of buying rubbing alcohol and 100% acetone respectively. Just go to Bunnings and stock up. There's so much you can do once you've mastered the basic gel mani. Look into stamping (you can start with Konad as a brand – there are others, but this is a good quality popular one to start with), embellishments like rhinestones, pigments that can be combined, striping tape, dotting tools, etc. I'm always discovering new ways to build my repertoire – there's no limit to what you can do. Start following nail people on Instagram and build up a library of ideas to browse when you sit down to do a mani. This is such an easy and relaxing process – it's definitely how I treat myself every 1.5-2 weeks. I sit down, remove my last mani, prep my nail and create something new and amazing all over again while watching some telly and eating chocolate. It's great. And I'm ALWAYS getting compliments on my different manis – from friends, shop assistants, anyone.rugile.k

I received this color, Sea Foam Gelish Polish and was really excited to used it. I have been doing my own gel nails now for many years. I have the highest quality professional lights and I know what I'm doing. This color would not cure under the lights. I received a replacement and the replacement also would not cure. I tried 5 other colors of the same brand to make sure my lights were working. Yes, they all cured exactly as expected. I tried curing this color longer. 1 minute, 2 minutes, 3 minutes. Still would not cure. I was careful to use thin layers and use the same brand base and top coat. Still no cure. I'm sure sad about it. I really wanted this color to work. I’ve used Gelish gel nail polish for years ever since I’ve started doing my nails at home to save money. It was the gel used in the salon I used to go to so I was surprised to find it so readily available first at Amazon and later at Sally Beauty. I like that the colors come in smaller sizes so they don’t dry up by the time you use them. I also like that the top coat and base coat come in larger bottles. For around $10 a bottle, the gel polish lasts a long time before drying out or becoming clumpy. This stays on well and keeps its true color. I could probably go 3-4 weeks, but my nails grow quickly and I’d prefer to do them every two weeks so they are always looking fresh and pretty. You do have to cure the polish with either a UV (older polishes) or an LED light (newer polishes), but these lights are available on Amazon as well. Gelish comes in 192 colors, according to gelish.com, which is insane, so you have plenty of colors to choose from. If you want to see all the colors, definitely check out Gelish.com. I recommend this gel polish and will continue to purchase it although recently I’ve been buying a brand called Beetles which comes in kits and sets, is super reasonably priced and works just as well (also available on Amazon- just search Beetles gel polish).wendy.r

This was my first purchase from ORLY and I am IN LOVE. Love the formula, love the brush. At first I felt the brush didn't pick up product as it should, but the shape of the brush is the BEST I've used. I always struggle to cover the side edges of my nails with polish, but this brush is designed perfectly for that. It very easily spread over my nail and down to the edge WITHOUT straying onto my skin. As for coverage, the first coat didn't dry so quickly that I couldn't go back and fully cover the nail. I therefore only needed 2 coats for an even, solid polish. Will be purchasing more colors from them. Highly recommend!!!Alexa

Exactly what I wanted in a red! Bright and showy, yet elegant and gorgeous! Perfect for manis and pedis. Fun for going to the local festival on Saturday afternoon as well as sophisticated for dancing at an evening soiree. I have been searching for a true red that was not orange-y or too burgundy and this is the shade I wanted. I like the Breathable line. They seem to endure longer than most other polishes and make my somewhat soft nails stronger. FYI: I was NOT compensated for this review. I ordered online and the shipment was delayed by the carrier(s), but once I contacted Orly, their customer service followed up and shipment was expedited from where it had stalled. Problem resolved. All but one bottle I ordered was sealed. It so happened that the one without a seal was this Star Spangled. It looked full and unused, but still I was surprised that Orly sent me a bottle without the seal.Juanita A.

As the title says, this is such a fun topper! It reminds me a bit of a carnival with funnel cake and ring toss games haha. It's bright and colorful and is fairly easy to apply in terms of getting a perfect amount of all the different glitter pieces on your nail. I did dab once or twice with the brush after brushing it on to try to place a couple of the larger bits a little more strategically, and it worked like a charm. I'm attaching a photo with it Turn It Up over two coats of Here Comes the Sun. If you see micro bubbles in the clear portion of the polish, please ignore! That was due to the top coat I used (and have since stopped using lol) and not Turn It Up.AJ S.
