The only reason this gel polish doesn't get a 5 star is because it is an absolute pain to get off. I can soak it and soak it for what seems like hours and I still have to file it off or scrape with an orange stick. The colours are beautiful, it is easy to apply for a beginner and it doesnt pool at the edges of your nail. Another great bonus is that the top coat does not require alcohol wiping, so for those with tight c curved nails, like me, you get much better coverage and top coat seal!kayla.m

However, I can't get it to stay on for more than 24 hours… I've tried it with a base coat and top coat (as well as without), I've tried two coats instead of three, and I always get the same result: it chips and peels off in less than a day. Based on the reviews of Rosy Future OPI nail lacquer I was excited and looking forward to receiving my new nail polish. Wow! What a shock it turned out to be. One coat looked good and I should have stopped right there. Thinking it would look even better with two coats I eagerly added a second as it was easy to apply. One coat gave a beautiful sheer iridescent shimmering look. Adding a second coat gave me neon nails that resembled fluorescent lights. I will continue to use the Rosy Future but only one coat. I am disappointed because I think a manicure with two coats of polish lasts longer. But, the look with one coat is acceptable with top coat layers. This polish is not the winner that I expected but at the same time it is not a total loss either. I would recommend the Rosy Future because of its versatility. For those who like a sheer iridescent look it’s a winner. For those who like neon nails it’s also a winner. Enjoy your new nail polish! The pictures show two coats of polish but do not depict how bright the color really is. 8-14-21 UPDATE: The more I use Rosy Future the more I like it. I have been using it for 2 years now. I absolutely love this top coat. I use it over Color Street Nails, but also for my daughter when she's painting her nails. It extends my manicure to 10 days, at least (I usually get sick of the color first and take it off). Dries very quick and gives a nice shiney coat. I don't usually need to reapply. I received this nail polish complimentary from Influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. I read a description of this which called it a "Barbie pink" and was immediately like "ugh great, bright pink!" I'm generally not a fan of pinks, but this one grew on me! I applied two coats of Two Timing the Zones over the OPI Natural Nail Base Coat, finishing it off with the OPI Top Coat. This polish bubbled, even after leaving 40+ minutes between coats, which was annoying! I ended up topping it with Essie's A Cut Above, which made already girly nails *even more* girly, and I actually liked it! This was again topped with another layer of the top coat. The polish chipped on my dominant hand within 3 days. Considering there's three layers on top, with the tips capped, that's pretty annoying! On my non-dominant hand, it chipped within 5. For me, it's not worth the price tag and I want far better longevity regardless of the price tag. It's around £15 in the UK, and I've got £1-2 Kiko polishes that perform better. So this polish is definitely not the best quality but it's typically $1 so we can't expect too much. For what it is it works well. Especially the color #447 Jewel Tone. I like to put it over a black base (2 coats black 2 coats glitter) and it's beautiful!! I am not typically big on doing my nails, especially myself so I try to stick to basics and darker colors that hide imperfections so this jewel tone glitter is perfect! I can't wait to try it over other darker base colors to see the variations in the glitter. As far as quality goes I am super pleasantly surprised at how long this lasts. I use a Sally Henson base and top coat so that probably helps but for the difference in price to the designer polishes I am ok with using good base/top coats and having my polish last a little less time. #nails #nailart #nailfie #lacolorsjennifer.h

So I know on the website the picture looks like a baby blue but in reality, it's actually a pastel aquamarine. A very light color reminds me of a nice beach day and is perfect for the spring or summer season. You have to apply 2 coats to achieve its full effect. There is a lot that I like about this “It Takes Two” Miracle Gel nail polish and top coat. First, the color! I’m wearing Sugar Fix which is a bright, powdery blue perfect for summer! Second, I like the size and convenience of this tube; perfect to fit in your bag and have a mani-on-the-go! One side has the color and the other a top coat. Thirdly, no base coat needed! Now one thing I think needs improvement: it states to apply two color coats, wait five minutes, then apply the gel top coat. I waited slightly longer but when I applied the top coat, two of my nails smeared because I pressed too hard with the brush. It wasn’t terrible but something to be aware of. I simply re-applied on those areas and it dried fine. I think this needs more time to dry before adding the top coat. Also, you’ll need to hold onto the base of the tube as you’re applying or else it might fall over as you dip the brush in. This isn’t so much a needed improvement but rather the outcome of the sleek tube design. I’ve read a lot of reviews on this product and most of them seem to be color-related. I obviously can only speak to the color I used which went on decent the first coat and fully covered with the second. This does last a few days without heavy chipping. You get minor wear at the tips but I found this to last longer than a typical nail polish. If you follow me, I’d like to first say thank you so much! While I am admittedly by no means an expert on nail polish, I was far beyond satisfied, in fact, I was completely impressed with both the color and the quality of this nail polish. It dries quick, goes on thick and lasts! But, most importantly, the color is awesome. It is totally unique as I have certainly never seen this color before. It is predominantly silver- very shiny silver. What makes this color unique is the shade of pine green mixed in with the dominant metallic sheen. The brighter the light, the more the green shows. So basically it looks ever so slightly different every time you look at it- which to me is super cool! Highly Recommended!
This color is really nice. I LOVE IT! If you like sparkles, use this color with INSTA-DRY 258 SHOOTING STAR on top of it. You can use any color of XTREME WEAR and add Bling. How I applied; one generous coat, let dry. Then add 258 SHOOTING STAR on top; 2 generous coats. When using Sparkles/Bling on top, make sure the coats are very generous, let dry between each application. Also if you miss areas for sparkles, you can reapply the glitter where you want it. Don't worry about imperfections because the glitter will dry as if you applied it with brush smoothly. Using these two colors will give you a ROSE GOLD SPARKLE APPEARANCE. The liquid is clear. Apply more coats depending on how much bling you want. Will last 1 week or more depending on how much you wash your hands or using cleaning products without gloves. LOVE IT! LADIES if you love Sparkly Nails, this is for you. I tried the BLACK 565 POWERSLIDE; stayed on for a week or longer, depending on how often you wash your hands or use clean products without gloves. I found this color at WAL-MART. How to apply to last; put on a Sally Hards As Nail color first, let dry. Then put on 2 coats of this bling. Let dry between coats. More sparkles; more coats. 2 coats is perfect. I got this back in June from my local sallys beauty store, to paint my nails before I left for California. Never painted my nails until today. The bottle is not even 3 months old and omg it is horrible. The color is so beautiful but the application was applying like it is was a oldie. Streaks, very splotchy not at all impressed. Even with the double duty polish by sally hansen there is no saving this horrible nail polish. Air bubbles, smears so easily even though I waited 10 minutes to make sure it was dry. Nope not at all saveable. Will never use this company nail polish again. I will just keep using opi. So disappointedLaurenak89
I bought this on sale, so I'm happy with the value. It definitely dries faster than most regular polishes, but, of course, it doesn't fully set for about a day or so. There is a bit of an unpleasant odour when applying, but that's minor. My major complaint is that they started chipping the day after I applied. They mostly lasted for like 3-4 days with minor chipping (with the addition of a quick-dry top coat, different brand). Took 3 coats for full coverage, so not great opacity, and very thick on the nail. I am very happy with the price, and love the colour Pink Blink! It's just what I've been looking for, and I will continue to wear it.ash30

I really likes these polishes. The pink one that turns white when cold is a bit more opaque. So 2 coats is perfect or it gets globby! The grayish one which honestly even when I ran it under hot water only ever showed as a light to maybe medium gray not a dark smoky gray like in the campaign photo but it is described as turning to a pinky nude. I saw no pink but it was a nude! Its also a lot thinner! Even after 3 coats I could still make out my nail line! Which isn't a bad thing its just the more you add the longer it takes to dry! I was surprised when I realized they don't have that usual headachy smell that most polishes have! So that's really nice! I am super sensitive to that! So much that I can only do my nails when its warm outside! I can't do them indoors due to the smell usually! This will make it much easier to use all times of the year! I received a Laws of Attraction Magnetic Effect Polish in exchange for my honest reviews. It came in well packed. Though, the cap with magnet doesn't stick with the cover. So, I had to remove the cap with magnet 1st, before removing the black lid. This is in a shade of Pink(glittery). If you want a magnetic manicure, this would be your bet. It's easy to apply, same with the usual polish but on 2nd/3rd coat you can point the magnet or do a swirl close to your nail so you can have the magnetic effect. Probably for 30seconds or so. I love the effect on nails. Though, might need to apply a little thicker for more visible effects. [brand:nailsinc]irish .p
I purchased Spiritual Gangster (not available on JL currently) and the colour is a beautiful deep, dark blue. The application was tricky, as it was quite thick to apply in thin layers. Once on (with a top coat) it was beautiful and lasted over 24hrs without chipping, which is incredibly good going for me! But once it did chip, it came off in chunks. Despite using a base coat my nails are noticibly stained blue. I wouldn't recommend this polish at all.JH70

This was my first purchase from ORLY and I am IN LOVE. Love the formula, love the brush. At first I felt the brush didn't pick up product as it should, but the shape of the brush is the BEST I've used. I always struggle to cover the side edges of my nails with polish, but this brush is designed perfectly for that. It very easily spread over my nail and down to the edge WITHOUT straying onto my skin. As for coverage, the first coat didn't dry so quickly that I couldn't go back and fully cover the nail. Exactly what I wanted in a red! Bright and showy, yet elegant and gorgeous! Perfect for manis and pedis. Fun for going to the local festival on Saturday afternoon as well as sophisticated for dancing at an evening soiree. I have been searching for a true red that was not orange-y or too burgundy and this is the shade I wanted. I like the Breathable line. They seem to endure longer than most other polishes and make my somewhat soft nails stronger. FYI: I was NOT compensated for this review. I ordered online and the shipment was delayed by the carrier(s), but once I contacted Orly, their customer service followed up and shipment was expedited from where it had stalled. Problem resolved. All but one bottle I ordered was sealed. It so happened that the one without a seal was this Star Spangled. As the title says, this is such a fun topper! It reminds me a bit of a carnival with funnel cake and ring toss games haha. It's bright and colorful and is fairly easy to apply in terms of getting a perfect amount of all the different glitter pieces on your nail. I did dab once or twice with the brush after brushing it on to try to place a couple of the larger bits a little more strategically, and it worked like a charm. I'm attaching a photo with it Turn It Up over two coats of Here Comes the Sun. If you see micro bubbles in the clear portion of the polish, please ignore! If you are a fan of holo, this is definitely a great polish for you. ILNP is known for packing rainbows into their ultra holos and this one is no exception. Although it will sparkle inside the house, I think it looks best in direct sunlight. For me, I needed about 2-3 coats for it to be completely opaque. It applies really nicely and is easy to remove. You don't need a harsh acetone remover.
This color is called Sweet Pea and I am absolutely in love! Gives me princess vibes. This is my 4th different purchase with them and the quality of their polish is astonishing. Lasts me well over a week with no chips and that’s saying a lot because I’m a nurse who’s constantly washing to hands and using hand sanitizer! Highly recommend this brand. This is so cool! The holographic sparkle in this color is utterly mesmerizing and gorgeous! I’m crazy about holographic polish. For years I’ve been collecting whatever I could find, but there wasn’t much out there until I found this brand. Now I have a massive collection because ILNP has so many amazing colors. The funny thing is, I don’t normally paint my fingers, only my toes, because nail polish of any kind, even dip and shellac, starts chipping or peeling off of my fingernails in no less that a day. Thankfully, I tried this on my fingers just to see how it looks and it lasted for days and still looked awesome! I have since tried a couple of other colors and they stayed on my nails as well! When I went to my local nail shop I was excited to see that they had mood gel polish. I picked out a pretty color that changes from white to purple. I like, but since it's basically summer my nails are only basic white. Plus the nail Polish chip easily. I only had my nails done for a few days and they are chipped already. This is a no chip mood color, goes from a light maroon to extreme dark. Even though, this application was done at the salon. As long as you've applied no chip manicure before, you can apply this mood color as well. Exact same steps. When your hands are warm, its the light tone, when hands are cold then it will turn dark. The color is amazing. It is like graphite—almost black with a subtle slate shimmer. However, I find this color tricky to work with. It shrank up during the curing process, and it took four thin coats to build up the color. This left me with a thick manicure that was a bit sheer toward the cuticle and free edge. I definitely think this is a good color for your collection, but I think it will take some practicing to get the right coverage.Jessi
I really like compact foundations and this one does not disappoint. I ordered Candlelight and it was perfect for my light/medium freckled skin. I'm 64 and have dry skin. This felt very moisturizing and comfortable on my face. Good coverage, but I did have to put a setting powder on to make it last 8-10 hours.Jobono
