I used this product to assemble a new beam in my 1910 Cape cod. The beam expands 12 feed and at that distance 2×8 pine lumber will not carry the load. I assembled the beam with a purchased 1/4" metal flitch plate, 3 2×8's, 18# 5/8" bolts and Extreme Super Duty Liquid Nails. It took over an hour to assemble all these parts. I used this product to hold some new cabinet boards together. It actually hold pretty well. The product comes out very smooth just need to be careful on the aperture not to make a large cut or it would come out as a clump, over saturating the working area. With the assistance of some clamps and a 24 hours waiting the wood stayed strongly bonded. It most be careful not to saturate the material and immediately clean the area. The one downside its the container as the cartoon easily bend at the end and loose the shape for the dispensing gun. I love this product. I use it to re-adhere a loosened dipped acrylic nail to my natural nail. I say all this to say that you don't have to worry about being extra careful. I didn't do anything special or add any extra fancy products all I did was file the top of my nails and put nail polish remover apply the glue and press firmly. I had a project that seemed fairly small. Water had come in from under my patio door and my laminated molding was soft. Upon further review I removed the entire piece of laminant. Prepped the entire area with liquid nail to ensure eater would not come in from under the sill. Since this home is on a slab, I needed a product that would provide exceptional adhesion with the concrete and laminant. Liquid Nail delivered and was the best choice. We love our Liquid Nails-Heavy Duty! We have used it all over the house on several different things. We did use it on wood, concrete, on drywall and several other things around the house. It's super easy to use as long as you have tools you need to use the product. It goes on like glue and takes a bit to dry but it works great for filling in gaps. You can pretty much use it on almost anything. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Applying it is so easy and it doesn't take much to do. I love that we can use it on several different things and not just one thing. It actually last awhile too. I was thinking it wouldn't because it don't look like much would come in the tube but it lasted for quite awhile and we used it for several things before we started getting low on the liquid nail glue. I also love that it's water resistant, which is so helpful! I have recommended it to friends and family. We plan on buying more and continuing to use it!Cari

Fuze*It max is a great adhesive. I will be keeping a tube of this around for all of my DIY projects. It works on almost any surface. I used it to reattach a hose reel to the side of the deck. That side of the deck has been pretty damp lately because of all the rain we’ve had. Fuze*It held right away even on the damp wood. Within just a few hours it seemed to be completely cured, but to make sure, I let it cure overnight before hanging the hose on it. We’ve had more rain and It’s gotten some direct sun beating down too. It’s still holding great. The quick grab will be perfect the next time I have trim work to do. I can’t wait to use it for trim. I love liquid nails type products, makes jobs so much easier and faster. First, you need to be fast, starts to set up within about 10 minutes and cures almost overnight. I used Fuze It Max for my pvc wall tiles, it bonded fast and a little goes a long way. I used a pressure bar to hold my tiles in place overnight although within minutes we couldn’t move them at all. Cleanup with mineral spirits worked well. We used tubes to glue drywall to our cinderblock walls so we wouldn’t damage the blocks, this stuff really holds fast and tight so consider it permanent. Pluses, works fast, a little goes a long way, no nail holes and a nice smooth finished surface. Definitely recommend for ease of use and great hold for drywall and wall tiles.PinkyT
I got this product about 2 weeks ago and have been very pleased with how well it works. I am currently remodeling my living room and have torn out the old paneling from the walls and am installing wood planks. It has held up so good and makes the job of installing them so easy.
