I absolutely love the color! It's one of the most striking nail polishes I've ever used. However, I can't get it to stay on for more than 24 hours… I've tried it with a base coat and top coat (as well as without), I've tried two coats instead of three, and I always get the same result: it chips and peels off in less than a day. That's the only reason I didn't rate it higher. If I could figure out how to get it to stay on, it would be five stars for sure. 🙁Jill Z.
Nostalgia is absolutely gorgeous and I was really stunned by the staying power. I'm not super gentle with my hands but 2 coats lasted me a full week with minimal chipping. You definitely need at least 2 layers of polish for opacity's sake, 3 is preferred in my opinion. To my eye, the polish shifts from golden green to a grungy rose color that almost veers into maroon territory. Not a lot of copper, mostly rose. I could rave about ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) all day. If there’s a color out there that you love, they make it, and they make it RIGHT. 10-13 dollars seems steep for nail polish, but this shade is only one example of pure magic for the nails from this brand. Interstellar is perfectly named; it is a true multichrome, shifting from bright turquoise to almost forest-y teal to shades of cobalt and navy. The holographic glitters are nearly microscopic, allowing for both a smooth coat and also a galaxy of depth. The polish itself is easy to apply and doesn’t flood the nail bed with product. It also dries fairly quickly but still plays well with other brands for an even quicker drydown with topcoat. This color specifically is best with three thin coats and a topcoat. My only complaint is I wish it was available in stores or that the brand had its own stores. As it is, shipping is reasonable, incredibly fast (usually 2-3 days to ship from west to east coast), and products are well protected and packaged. I will absolutely purchase from the brand again and will purchase this color again when I’m running low.jaclyn.m

The only reason this gel polish doesn't get a 5 star is because it is an absolute pain to get off. I can soak it and soak it for what seems like hours and I still have to file it off or scrape with an orange stick. The colours are beautiful, it is easy to apply for a beginner and it doesnt pool at the edges of your nail. Another great bonus is that the top coat does not require alcohol wiping, so for those with tight c curved nails, like me, you get much better coverage and top coat seal!kayla.m

Who knows when their overhead mechanism was made. I had the manual and that was no help. So the hardest part was finding the correct setup code [which I then wrote down]. But it does just exactly what it is supposed to do. But do keep your manual. Sometimes a power outage will require a reset. I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! When it comes to nail polish, I tend to be quite skeptical especially since gel is a go-to. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this Essie polish due to its color, application and wear. In terms of color, this shade looks great with one coat or multiple depending on the look youre going for. And since it has a nice shimmer to it, it doesnt show imperfections or chips either. I love natural colors, so this one was an A+ for me. Because you can really build up the opacity of this polish, this made applying it really easy with three main swipes across the nail. And due to the shimmer, its really forgiving even if you do make a mistake. The brush was also quite flat and wide, which helped with the application process. (Drying time was quite short especially if you do thin layers). This polish was also great in terms of wear and is still holding up well after a good week of wearing it. Granted I did apply a topcoat, this still held up through housework and doing dishes by hand. In all, Im a big fan of this shade of Essie polish and think it would be perfect year round if not an easy to upkeep color in the summer months on my fingers and toes.AleksandraM
I am obsessed with Essie, that’s all I have bought since 10 years ago. I have tried Tuck it in my Tux and few others and decided Marshmallow has the best hue!!!! I love the color, not too white not pink, just right. The formula however is horrible. The first couple of times after opening the bottle is great except in order not to get streaks you have to apply 3 coats. After a few days of opening the bottle, the formula gets thick and clumpy and not usable!!! Also, the mandatory 3 layers make the nail polish to peel off in a day or two because it’s simply two thick and rubber feel like almost. Please note this is a constructive review for Essie, I am asking you to please change this formula since I love your products. I would love others to enjoy this wonderful nail polish but at this stage I am not able to use this color anymore. I don’t like anything with sparkle or shine and neither one of your colors mimic marshmallows. The open bottles show the clumps on top. Unfortunately my video would not upload. Ho Ho holy moly! This is an AMAZING polish! Most glitter polishes (which is the version I’m reviewing) smear when you put them on or don’t show up at all. This Deep Sea Diamonds polish shows up and then some! It not only has small glitter but bigger pieces as well which makes it super sparkly! I’m wearing it over a darker color but you can definitely wear this on its own. Two coats is all you need but you can get away with one. The formulation is on the thicker side which helps keep the glitter in tact. Add a quick dry top coat and you’re done! Highly recommend! If you follow me, I’d like to first say thank you so much! This is probably one of my favourite nail polishes. I love the shade of green and the non-goopy application of it. It’s also lasted longer than any of the other expensive polish brands I own (all the ones that promise no chips for two weeks and then they chip next day no matter how careful you are). I’ve gotten a bit less than a week’s wear out of it, but even now it’s only a couple chips on a few fingers, which is to be expected because I’m a mom of young kids, so I am constantly doing something with my hands and washing them. I see other reviewers mentioning how sheer applications are, which is true, but it just means you need a couple extra coats, which honestly isn’t a big deal; I find that most polishes, no matter how much coverage they give you, need additional coats anyways. When I use this polish along with the Miracle Gel top coat, I get a solid week out of the nails before I get any chipping. Usually I only have to repaint them when the nails are growing out too much. Dries quickly, so apply quickly and carefully. This is a great middle ground between regular polish and real gel, meaning it is great for home use. You can get thick coverege that hides your ridges without needing to buff your nails if you do 2 color and 1 top coat. I'm in the process of replacing all my existing polishes with Miracle Gel versions.LH

Ok just got this set so I could try it out. Also bought the prime and harden breathable base/top coat. I applied the Mermaid Tail so fast after the base coat. 3 layers then the top coat! I like the colors, the glitter top is cute. It's good to know that there are no major harmful ingredients. But the smell! I used different polishes, including gel, also clip ons and tips. But this smell reminded me of some ancient cheap nail polishes 🙁 Just refreshed the color on my toes and fingers – the smell doesn't go away for an hour already, gave me headache.Nana

I’m not much of a fan of gold nail polish until I saw this one. Gold with a strong linear holo finish that shimmers and shines with a rainbow effect. It is so pretty. The rainbows that dance around your nail in the sunlight is so gorgeous. This one takes 3 coats. But dries really fast. If your not much a gold fan I suggest you try this one out. Might just change your mind! Would definitely recommend.megan.m
As an aside, I'm someone who has been doing my own nails since I was 5 years old with my mother and am now in my early 40's having only had my nails done professionally 2x so I feel competent in this area have tried hundreds of colors and brands. This is one that's a definite fail in my experience with about 10 different shades (all lacquer I should note) and with their base top coats. I have found them to be very watery and difficult to apply without bleeding out over the nail line and hard to get an even no steak/ uneven application without extra effort compared to your average polish. Across the board, the colors I have had or do have in my collection separate much faster than the norm and are 10x more difficult to shake up often you cannot after a much shorter time period than average even while stored properly. That is not why I'm giving this a 1/5 though- the big reason is the very strong chemical smell that is overwhelming and a reminder of just how many toxic/ suspect ingredients are in most polishes- as much as I'd like to go completely clean with nail polish brands, I still can't resist a great gel, shade or effect and don't find it too difficult to try not to think about the toxicity of the color I'm using- with these there is no way around that in my experience. The reasons for the one star are: bold and vast variety of shades, high gloss potential probably the best thing has been how my experience with using this brand has nudged me even further in the direction to cleaner products like 💅🏼 for example which is a good thing I think!
Color club nail polish is my favorite line of nail polishes! The variety and quality is unbeatable! Their 'mood changing' nail polishes are some of my favorites, they're a big hit with my daughter too! The quality of their holographic nail polishes is unbelievable. The scented nail polish in shade 'Be Mine' is hands down my favorite shade of all time. I have two of them just in case. I'm a little obsessive with my nail polish collection in general but as you can see the second row down from the top of my display shelf is ALL Color Club nail polishes. Unfortunately only Wal-Mart seems to sell these wonderful nail polishes at this time (only brick and mortar store, that is, they are available online through Amazon and their website) so I will continue to build my collection by buying them there, one by one.natasha.p

I absolutely love the color! It's one of the most striking nail polishes I've ever used. However, I can't get it to stay on for more than 24 hours… I've tried it with a base coat and top coat (as well as without), I've tried two coats instead of three, and I always get the same result: it chips and peels off in less than a day. That's the only reason I didn't rate it higher. If I could figure out how to get it to stay on, it would be five stars for sure. 🙁Jill Z.
Nostalgia is absolutely gorgeous and I was really stunned by the staying power. I'm not super gentle with my hands but 2 coats lasted me a full week with minimal chipping. You definitely need at least 2 layers of polish for opacity's sake, 3 is preferred in my opinion. To my eye, the polish shifts from golden green to a grungy rose color that almost veers into maroon territory. Not a lot of copper, mostly rose. This was my first purchase from ILNP and wow, I was not disappointed.Kate

If you are a fan of holo, this is definitely a great polish for you. ILNP is known for packing rainbows into their ultra holos and this one is no exception. Although it will sparkle inside the house, I think it looks best in direct sunlight. For me, I needed about 2-3 coats for it to be completely opaque. It applies really nicely and is easy to remove. You don't need a harsh acetone remover.
This color is called Sweet Pea and I am absolutely in love! Gives me princess vibes. This is my 4th different purchase with them and the quality of their polish is astonishing. Lasts me well over a week with no chips and that’s saying a lot because I’m a nurse who’s constantly washing to hands and using hand sanitizer! Highly recommend this brand. This is so cool! The holographic sparkle in this color is utterly mesmerizing and gorgeous! I’m crazy about holographic polish. For years I’ve been collecting whatever I could find, but there wasn’t much out there until I found this brand. Now I have a massive collection because ILNP has so many amazing colors. The funny thing is, I don’t normally paint my fingers, only my toes, because nail polish of any kind, even dip and shellac, starts chipping or peeling off of my fingernails in no less that a day. Thankfully, I tried this on my fingers just to see how it looks and it lasted for days and still looked awesome! I have since tried a couple of other colors and they stayed on my nails as well! Hours after painting my nails, I was still getting smudges and nicks in the polish. It looked as though it was getting smudged and cloudy, and there was no shine. Then, I tried letting my coats dry A LOT longer then I usually would, and I dried them with a mini fan. After THAT, I had a shiny manicure that lasted over a week with little to no chipping. So- if you have the time to let your coats dry quite a long time, and/or an instrument to dry them (fan) then you will have great results!sd

They’ve knocked all my other nail products out the park! I was super pleased with my application process. So many nail salons use the brand OPI and it has been featured in Hollywood movies! Defo give this brand a try girls! It’s totally worth it!jessica .h

It's quite thick so you don't need much on the brush and I would recommend you do wipe the brush up the side of the bottle to remove some before you go in and apply it over your nail polish colour. Sometimes the brush does turn the same colour as the nail polish I'm applying it to but that doesn't effect the top coat at all. It also protects the edges of my nails from chipping too. The only thing that I don't particularly like is that it does take longer to dry that other brands I've used so that's why I'm giving it 4 stars.
