I may be late to the OPI Mexico City Collection's Spring 2020 release, but at least I finally found that rad yellow creme! With my pale, pink-toned skin, finding a yellow that is saturated without leaning too dark, pastel, or neon — AND has a 3-coat (or less) formula — is a real challenge. I got my hands on this color after stumbling into an Amazon sale (the "Buy at least $20 worth of these selected items, get $5 off" kind? It was the first time I tried it out!) where a few of the OPI Mexico City colors were included. I had heard about this color for a while, and watched nail polish swatchers on YouTube include it in their side-by-side yellow polish comparisons every season, but I could never find it in-stock at a reasonable shipping rate until that sale. Score! As you can see from my photo, it's a slightly lighter yellow, but it works like a standard yellow on my fair skin when compared to darker shades. It pops in just the right way! Plus, its formula is 3 coats maximum for full opacity, which is hard to achieve with yellow polish at any price point. (Don't you hate it when a color of polish is sold as the brand's "standard primary color," only to find out it takes 4 or 5 streaky coats to achieve that color? So many polish brands do that with yellow and white, even at the salon level. No, thank you!) I've been in in a real yellow mood this summer, so I'm so happy to find a great color that works for me in 3 coats and doesn't chip easily after a few days!elizabeth.o

So this is the Melody Susie Sheen Nail Drill. I ordered this in 2019. 5 STARS y'all!! It gets all five stars from me because it's just that good and still works as it did the day I bought it, 3 years ago. My bf loves for me to do his nails with this 😆 (he's a diva too). First thing I noticed when I unboxed it is it doesn't feel light, plastic-y and cheap. It has a "for professionals" feel to it. You may not know what I mean but you'll see once you order one. It works so good y'all! It comes with 6 drill bits and a case for storage, 6 sanding bands of diff grit levels, a baggie of sanding bands, user manual, the actual electric drill, and the power cord. The drill has two spins: clockwise and counter, plus it has a dial to go fast or slower. And the best part, it does an awesome job! I can't even fit everything I want to say in this review. Glass nail files not only feel so much better on the nail, they dont leave you with terrible rough edges and can easily be washed to reuse. I would say the only thing to be careful about is avoid dropping the file or squeezing it tight in a towel if you rinsed it, as the glass can break.

I bought this item in a moment of desperation, needing to remove a gel manicure but unable to get an appointment in time for my regular salon to do it. I honestly wasn't expecting this to perform as well as it did because it was literally a $20 purchase from Walgreen's but still I went about my mission with fingers crossed hoping for things to at least turn out somewhat respectable. After using acetone to remove most of the manicure, I relied on this to rid my nails of any residual gel and to perfect them for a more natural look. I was thrilled to find that the included assortment of attachment heads were very good quality and made what could have been a disaster a pretty painless experience. Not only did it remove every last trace of the residue from my artificial gel nails but I was able to use the buffer attachment to smooth and perfect them into a gorgeous manicure that looked professional. I'll be seeing less of my manicurist now and that's more money I can spend on my makeup habit so I'm a very happy girl.angel.p

I read the other reviews before making this purchase stating this lacked power and bogged down under pressure. Those reviews are correct but my guess is that this may be somewhat of a safety feature. If the unit had more power it might take off skin if the unit slipped off the nail surface. It does work if you don't use extreme pressure. Let the grinding attachments slowly do their work. They will work but takes somewhat longer that you might expect. You get a little more power if you use the power adapter and not the cordless feature. Overall its not too bad.jerry746

As a model builder, these work great for contouring rocket fins, removing chrome plating before gluing plastic parts together, trueing slot car tires, cleaning rusted metal objects, scuffing up surfaces prior to painting, fine detail work inside rocket body tubes for that perfect nose cone fit. I also found they work well on sand shaping finger nails too. These are the best emery boards by far, so don't waste your hard earned money on those off brands.
