It took me weeks to finally get it in the mail, but I really like this product. My nails are badly damaged from gels and acrylics. The pink color is ok but would not be my choice. It does let me see where it has worn off on the edges more easily though. My nails are easily broken and thin to begin with, so damaged they are very fragile. This is the Orly Nailtrition treatment polish and it retails for $15 at Ulta. This is suppose to be a nail strengthener for peeling and splitting nails. The formula is thick, shiny, and pink. I was hoping for something more clear. Not a deal breaker. It makes the nails appear bright and shiny. I recently wanted to take a break from getting my nails done and had the acrylic removed. My nails were peeling and thin underneath. I thought I would give this product a try and after a month, I’m really not impressed. It did not make my nails any stronger, nor did it help them grow. I really did not have any expectations of this product when I first started using it but figured it was worth a shot. I had acrylics for over a decade and then had to stop during the pandemic. I loved this product. Tbh I have completely ran out cause I used it almost every other day. A little story here so be warned: For 20 years I have struggled with anxiety, well with that I had a nervous habit of picking at my nails till they were in the quick. I have used other products from this brand and have been very disappointed. This one has left me very surprised. I've only used it twice so far, and it seems to work great. Can I say that I've seen growth within 3 days? Honestly, I can't really tell. However, I have noticed a definite change in my nail strength. I work a lot with my hands when I make costumes and clothing, and my nails tend to break, chip and crack. Since I started using this, my nails seem stronger. Ok so I’ve been trying this for 3 months and I haven’t seen any noticeable difference in nail growth rate. However! I have very brittle nails that break and peel if they get long so I’ve always been on the lookout for something that helps and this works wonders! I keep getting compliments on my nails and how I can actually grow them now. I followed the directions for use as applying 2 coats every 3 days and I haven’t had any problems with peeling or my nails breaking when they get longer. These products are inexpensive, and you can find them at Walmart and Amazon (amongst others). These products make your nails very strong, and protect them successfully from breaking. I have not had any breakage since I started using them. Previously I used a different nail hardener, but had breakage with that one.

I've used Nutra-Nail protein for years. At first I used it several times a day and then at bedtime. Now I use it a couple of times a week. It does a great job if you use it faithfully. I have read some poor reviews and feel those are the people who did not use it faithfully several times a day or only used it for a short period of time. Good results happen in time. When your nails are bad you will see how quickly Nutra-Nail absorbs into the nails. Once your nails start to improve it will take longer for it to absorb. Maybe those who are not happy were using the clear polish and not the protein formula. Who knows??? But I highly recommend this if you want to give it a try. I got this product as a set which included the Nutra Nail Flex-Shield Hardener. I have to tell you all its perfect! Doing dishes and constantly working with my hands my nails were not in the best shape. After using both of these products I was amazed! It really does work. My nail grew longer over time, also It made my nails stronger and they don't get cracks anymore. If I'm using colored nail polish, I use the Nutra Nail Flex-Shield Hardener as both a base and top coat (which really helps the color last). I have used Nailtiques Formula 2 for many years. It absolutely improves the strength and look of my nails. The trick is to use it consistently and follow the directions to apply one coat daily. I make one to three applications a week to maintain the results and make sure I always have this on my nails. I don't wear color polish often but Nailtiques works great as a first coat with color polish as the second. If you are just starting out with Nailtiques I would suggest not using colored polish for the first few weeks and just use Nailtiques to give your nails a good start. I love Nailques Nail Protein. It is a fabulous product. My nails look so nice now. In fact I just put it on my nails a little bit ago. Every other day I do. As soon as pandemic hit, my nail salon closed. I let cut down my acrylics and eventually soaked them in Acetone and removed them. My nails were weak, thin, brittle and have horizontal lines and cracks. I bought Rocket Fuel in Hope's that it would help my nails. They were already grown out from the acrylic damage but were just weak, brittle and had these ridges, causing me to have to keep them very short. Used Rocket Nail Fuel for the recommended 8 weeks. No changes in my nails…still weak, brittle and ridged. Besides that about 3/4s through the bottle, the polish became very thick and hard to apply. Also, by the time I was at my third coat my nails had a blue tinge which just looked weird. I wrote customer service and was told that there was no blue tinge…"Hello, am I seeing things?" And that to remedy the thickness of the polish, I should add a few drops of Acetone. Really? I thought the whole concept behind Rocket Fuel was that it had natural, healthy ingredients. Now you want me to put Acetone into the product to thin it out? All in all, if I could give it zero stars I would. I did get a refund though, so that is the upswing. I did go to my dermatologist and he looked at my nails and the remainder of what was in the bottle of Rocket Fuel and said, it seemed I paid over $20 for a product that I could buy at the drugstore for under $5 and that by the smell of the product it smells just like any other nail polish out there and I would do best to go back to using my good old standby odor Black Jamaiican Castor Oil which amazingly cured the fungus under my toenails and does help moisturize my fingernails…and costs a fraction of what Beaute Garde's Rocket Fuel (Can you say $1 at the Dollar Tree?). Dont fall for these high price gimmicky beauty products, when there are natural things out there that cost next to nothing and do much more.
I was extremely excited when I saw the FB ad in regards to strong nails not breaking. I have very thin, peeling nails and the sides of my thumb's split so I thought this would answer my prayers. I have put three coats on over a week and a half and I had FOUR nails break on me! The cost at $23 and the product not working is totally RIDICULOUS!! My nails were all the same length and they were long and I was so looking forward to this product working and I am extremely disappointed! It made my nails extremely hard but when they started breaking over simply opening the car door that is absolutely ridiculous! I am not using my nails as tools to open packages and I'm very careful because I have thin nails. But when you're opening your car door and your nail breaks it's just ludicrous! This product does not do what it says it does! I had to cut my nails down all the way because of the FOUR breaks I had two on each hand!! I would definitely not recommend this product to anybody and unfortunately I did to a friend and she bought it but she is in Costa Rica right now and I have no communication with her right now but when she gets back I really want to know how she made out! I had to give this one star because I cannot give it a zero star and give a review but it kills me to give one star!! I have used Nail Tek products for about 20 years, as their nail treatment/therapy products have worked wonders for me. My nail used to never grow. I began using Nail Tek, #2 with the cuticle/nail oil when preparing for my wedding in hopes to grow my own nails. They grew, and became stronger than ever before, less brittle and less prone to breakage. I’ve used nearly all of the Nail Tek treatment line and recommended to many! My daughter bought me this a year ago (by accident – she thought it was the polish). I've used the polish before and found that it you miss a day, the nail crumbles where it chips off so I was quite glad! It doesn't work overnight but over months it really has made a huge difference. 9-14-20: This review is on the Sally Hansen, Hard as Nails, Vitamin Strength Serum. It took longer for me, compared to other reviewers, to see results. I used only this product on my nails (twice a day) for about one month. I wanted to see if it would work. I was going to give up on it, but I started seeing results. My nails have always peeled and broken easily. My nails are now stronger, thicker, longer and not peeling. I have sensitive skin and this item did not cause any irritation like some nail products do. I have also long used a ceramic/glass file, instead of an emery board, which can separate layers of the nail. The only suggestion I have on the Vitamin Strength Serum is that I think a brush would have worked better. I also wanted to comment on the packaging of item. I like that you can see through the bottle. I have used the "Nail Growth Serum" in the dark gold colored bottle. It works well, but I don't like how you can't see how much product is remaining in bottle. Also, like others commented, I did not like the dropper that bottle has.Lou1

Ive tried a lot of products hoping my nails would stop chipping and breaking. Nothing worked, I even gave in into trying Opi Nail Envy which has formaldehyde, I didnt see any difference on the contrary it made my nails worse. I'm only on week 3 of the process, which is a month long, but so far I've absolutely loved this nail strengthener! I've tried tons of other nail strengtheners, including a $25 one, and this is the best one I've used so far. It doesn't tint the tips of your nails or turn them yellow, and it has a very natural sheen–not too glossy. My nails are stronger than they've ever been. I have only chipped a nail once, and that was at my job during the first week of using this strengthener (I work a pretty hands on, physical job). Since then, I haven't broken or chipped a single nail. I plan on continuing to wear this as a base coat or just naturally on my nails once I'm done with the month. I strongly recommend this product, but I will warn people to look into the entire process and what it entails, because these last two weeks of the month will take a bit of commitment.Claire

Long ago I gave up on my nails, trying to just handle them short to curtail their peeling and splitting tendencies. Last march I had a shellac mani to be fancy for a wedding and it ruined my already quite pathetic nails. After several months of trying to grow out a vertical split that had resulted I searched for something that would strengthen them enough to at least get back to normal shorties. Well, I saw this product and the reviews and thought i would give it a try. I did follow directions to the letter, which helped and it was at a vacation time for me so I could stay on track. After the first two weeks I had never seen my nails so 'non splitty' , and something in this is definitely fortifying them. After the initial two weeks I went into the 2 week every other day schedule, and I went ahead and purchased the soy remover as well. Pros: much 'cleaner' product line than any I see. Virtually no odor or strong smell, makes application pleasant. Products work better than any I ever used on my mid 50's nails! Cons: none yet, and I just ordered from the Labor day sale. Although it may be temping to peel off the product after applying several coats, I encourage you not to do this as it will also remove part of the strengthened nail bed that you are trying to repair. Soak your nails in non-acetone polish remover initially, then rub off remaining product with a saturated cotton ball. Once clean, reapply.KathyC

Having been a nail biter/picker most of my years I resorted to acrylics to help deter me. Getting this done regularly made my already thin and brittle nails worse. I resorted to false nails for a while and then wraps to try and achieve some length to discourage my old habits. Had been looking for an alternative product in local shops but couldn't find it. A work colleague was using product I was originally trying to source and recommended it all apart from the pinkish tinge it gave. I do a lot in my life, I'm a mom, I do dishes, laundry, gardening, crafts, etc. My hands get VERY dirty, so I have to wash them probably 20+ times a day, and it makes my my nails get so weak and brittle and they've always been prone to chipping, breaking, etc. but this stuff is so good at sealing the nail with a nice shiny coat! It glides on easily, and dries pretty fast. I've done multiple thin layers and one thick layer and both have worked well. My nails have been bothering me so much that I've had nail hardener on my shopping list for a while now since my nails kept breaking and chipping, but then this came in my mailbox! I mean, it really makes a difference when you see how flexible your nail was before vs. after applying. After having this on for a week, I went to do the dishes and jammed my thumb on the sink handle, and already was reaching for the nail file because I thought my nail broke for SURE! But nope! it held up with this stuff on! I also notice my nails don't get as thin and weak when they sit in water for a while with this stuff, but of course it wears the coat down when you swim or have wet hands for long periods of time. I'm planning on getting another bottle to use on my feet after showers because my toe nails could use some help with cracking too! Let me start off by saying that I have eczema and I wash my hands VERY frequently especially since the start of covid-19. My hands are always super dry and I constantly have several hangnails and torn cuticles that I have to clip off every evening and I hate it. I'm also a medial student and my cuticle skin falls victim to my stress picking during exams 😭😭😭. I have never used a cuticle oil before, however after trying this for the first time I am CONVERTED. My cuticles have never felt so healthy before. This is a great product that melts into your skin and doesn't feel greasy. The applicator is just like a regular nail polish brush. A little goes a long way though, one dip can cover all 10 of my cuticles. I've been using this product almost everyday for a week and I had definitely noticed an improvement. The differences between the before and after picture are not super noticeable but trust me, you will feel a difference. I did go one day without using it and surely the dry cuticles and hangnails came back with a quickness so this is a product that requires constant use to reap the benefits. But that's not exactly a complaint, just something I noticed and I don't really mind. I definitely recommend this cuticle oil for anyone with dry hands.
I was looking for a new top coat for my nails and generally have good results with Sally Hansen products but this stuff drives me insane. It doesn't matter how dry my polish is before I put this on or how long I let it sit before I move on with my life, this stuff never ever seems to fully dry. I could paint my nails at noon and go to bed at 11pm and I'll wake up with imprints in my nails from my sheets. I thought I wasn't giving my polish enough time to dry (I usually use the Sally Hansen quick drying polishes) so I timed it and waited about 30 minutes between coats. I let the top coat sit for an hour, then dunked my hands in ice water and made sure I was super extra careful when preparing food that evening. After cooking, I looked at my nails and had a huge divot in the polish on my pinky nail. My other nails all have bunching at the top where the polish was pushed back from doing who knows what (literally just living life as normal). I forgot to put this on when I painted my nails last week with the same polish and had no issues until I did a deep clean of my house at the end of the week (using chemicals without gloves). I don't think I'm going to ever use this top coat again.J

Using it for about a week now and so far am very pleased. Can see a noticeable improvement in my nails, even right after the first application – nail surface is smoother and color more even. Overall, nails look healthier and they do feel a bit stronger. Time will tell if it helps me gain length, but I can already see improvement in a couple of damaged nails that tend to repeatedly split in certain places, so that makes me very happy. When I was seven or so years old, I slammed my right thumbnail in a car door. My nail was allowed to heal on its own– which was not great. The nail has a big bump or two, right in the center of the nailbed and has always caught on fabric or provided an irresistible object to mess with or (better word) aggravate. In my later years, I began to try nail stickers, filing and super glue. The stickers and glue, only made the nail more snaggy and the filing made it thinner — no good results. Then … I stumble upon this product after browsing a scientific article about how the combination of the two main ingredients, showed much promise. After two weeks of applying it about 3 times a day, my thumbnail is nearly unrecognizable. I'm guessing these ingredients have moisturized the nail and bed. I'm not sure about why it feels so much smoother, but I am thrilled with the results. Yes, it is a little spendy and there's not much in the container (though I am still on my first one), but DUDE … this is amazing.Karla

Very pleased with Nail Growth MIRACLE. Been using it on & off for years It goes on smoothly, leaving a clear shiny finish. I apply it as per instructions, 1 coat every other day. It can be used as a Base coat which I found prevented my nails being stained by deep/rich coloured nail polish. I also use a cuticle/nail oil few times a day for my weak/peeling nails. It made me pay more attention to my nails, like never wash dishes without gloves, not using them as tools etc etc. I file mine “sqoval” (square with softened edges) which I find gives a bit more strength. MIRACLE growth prevents my nails from peeling which enables them to grow. It’s a bit pricey for a Sally Hansen product hence 1 star removed. Overall a very good product. If I can’t afford my all time favourite nail strengthener ,this is my 2nd choice. Yes ,I’d recommend it to a friendFoxy

As someone that has had a nail biting problem most of my life, this stuff is absolutely amazing. The first time I bought this stuff I wasn't so sure it was going to work. But let me tell you, it absolutely does work. My nails are long and super thick now and I owe it all to this stuff. It really does what it says and more. I was given this polish to restore my nails after having a gel manicure for years. I stopped for covid19, as I couldn’t justify the salon trips with a high health risk person in my household. Sadly, I was forced to let my beautifully appointed gel nail manicure grow out and disappear. Of course what I was left with was entirely awful destroyed nails. However, after 6 weeks or so of this nail treatment as directed, my own nails were restored and in fairly good condition. I continue to use this as a base and top coat to keep my hands healthy. Love this product! It totally helped to strengthen my nails after only a few applications. I was trying to grow my nails after getting a gel manicure that damaged my nails after proper removal.
