Before the COVID situation I would get a gel manicure every two weeks. And now, I do not see myself going back to the nail salon. This mega formula lasts! My nails stay unchipped for 6 days straight! And when they started chipping it was only at the very tip of the nail! I typically only ever need two coats and I dont use a clear top coat. The colors are so pretty! The brush is super skinny I was worried at first, but it's super good, coverge and application is easy! I take off with regular acetone and comes right off – not sure about the glitter ones because I dont have any glitter colors yet, but I imagine it would take a little more effort to remove as with all glitter polishes. I would definitely recommend this nail product if you also struggle with brittle nails prone to breakage. I use the clear as a base coat (although I wouldn’t wear it alone because it can look a little yellow, which seems to be common with clear coats, but figured I would mention it) and I do notice a difference – almost if my nails feel as if they’ve been more fortified. I would be curious to see if using one of the Mega Strength hardener pigmented shades on top of the clear coat would amplify its effect. I always struggle with painting my own nails in the first place, and I'm always looking for a top coat to make my nails look shiny and smooth like a gel polish but also dries fast. This top coat does just that. Sometimes I even use it alone to give my nails a nice shine. It doesn't stay tacky for very long and covers/smooths out any small imperfections in my base coat of color. The brush is big and wide which allows the whole nail to be covered in two swipes. It makes my nails feel very striong as well. Very nice polish! My only complaint is that the top coat peels off easily, especially around the cuticles. It doesn't take much to get a chip in it which also takes the underneath color off as well. I loved this product. Tbh I have completely ran out cause I used it almost every other day. A little story here so be warned: For 20 years I have struggled with anxiety, well with that I had a nervous habit of picking at my nails till they were in the quick. I have used other products from this brand and have been very disappointed. This one has left me very surprised. I've only used it twice so far, and it seems to work great. Can I say that I've seen growth within 3 days? Honestly, I can't really tell. However, I have noticed a definite change in my nail strength. I got the pink tinted nail strengthener and at first really liked it. I decided to wear it on its own, and that was a mistake. In less than a day the polish would chip and flake off. It has absolutely not durability. I’ve removed it, tried prepping my nails, and reapplied it but still had the same problem. I wonder if this would be better under another nail polish, which is why I’m giving it three stars instead of two. I assume those who give this product 5 stars are wearing this underneath another polish and maybe that’s why it works for them. In the bottle this has a purple tint which is not noticeable once applied, it goes on completely clear. Instructions say to apply two layers and that's it. The product is a lot thinner than regular nail polish, so you need to make sure you are not picking up too much product! If you do accidentally apply too much it runs quick since it is so thin, and you need to remove it with the brush o make sure it does not spill over onto your skin. It took me weeks to finally get it in the mail, but I really like this product. My nails are badly damaged from gels and acrylics. The pink color is ok but would not be my choice. It does let me see where it has worn off on the edges more easily though. My nails are easily broken and thin to begin with, so damaged they are very fragile. This is good for growing them out, and having some color helps hide the damage. I would like a shimmery nude color better, but that is personal preference.Merry B.
This is the Orly Nailtrition treatment polish and it retails for $15 at Ulta. This is suppose to be a nail strengthener for peeling and splitting nails. The formula is thick, shiny, and pink. I was hoping for something more clear. Not a deal breaker. It makes the nails appear bright and shiny. I recently wanted to take a break from getting my nails done and had the acrylic removed. My nails were peeling and thin underneath. I thought I would give this product a try and after a month, I’m really not impressed. It did not make my nails any stronger, nor did it help them grow. I really did not have any expectations of this product when I first started using it but figured it was worth a shot. I had acrylics for over a decade and then had to stop during the pandemic. My natural nails were so damaged, brittle and peeling, I had given up the idea of having nice nails again. I thought the Nailtrition at best would bind the peeling nails and prevent them from splitting but my nails are growing so well and (knock on wood) haven’t broken or split since I’ve started using this. I'm only on week 3 of the process, which is a month long, but so far I've absolutely loved this nail strengthener! I've tried tons of other nail strengtheners, including a $25 one, and this is the best one I've used so far. It doesn't tint the tips of your nails or turn them yellow, and it has a very natural sheen–not too glossy. My nails are stronger than they've ever been. I have only chipped a nail once, and that was at my job during the first week of using this strengthener (I work a pretty hands on, physical job). Since then, I haven't broken or chipped a single nail. I plan on continuing to wear this as a base coat or just naturally on my nails once I'm done with the month. Long ago I gave up on my nails, trying to just handle them short to curtail their peeling and splitting tendencies. Last march I had a shellac mani to be fancy for a wedding and it ruined my already quite pathetic nails. After several months of trying to grow out a vertical split that had resulted I searched for something that would strengthen them enough to at least get back to normal shorties. Well, I saw this product and the reviews and thought i would give it a try. I did follow directions to the letter, which helped and it was at a vacation time for me so I could stay on track. After the first two weeks I had never seen my nails so 'non splitty' , and something in this is definitely fortifying them. After the initial two weeks I went into the 2 week every other day schedule, and I went ahead and purchased the soy remover as well. Pros: much 'cleaner' product line than any I see. Virtually no odor or strong smell, makes application pleasant. Products work better than any I ever used on my mid 50's nails! Cons: none yet, and I just ordered from the Labor day sale. I have used Nailtiques Formula 2 for many years. It absolutely improves the strength and look of my nails. The trick is to use it consistently and follow the directions to apply one coat daily. I make one to three applications a week to maintain the results and make sure I always have this on my nails. I don't wear color polish often but Nailtiques works great as a first coat with color polish as the second. If you are just starting out with Nailtiques I would suggest not using colored polish for the first few weeks and just use Nailtiques to give your nails a good start. This is certainly a handy all-in-one product that can be used as a base coat, top coat, fill-in, and nail protectant. I typically do gel or dip on my nails because they are very brittle and prone to flaking. I apply this product over my 1+ week old dip nails to give them extra shine. This product has a lovely, moisturizing gel-like texture that gives a wonderful shine. However, because it has a thicker, more moisturizing consistency, it takes a very long time to dry so would probably not be ideal as a top coat for regular nail polish. If you don’t touch it at all, the finish is beautiful, but even if you accidentally touch it hours later before it has fully dried, the finish can become texturized and dull. I think this is best used as a nail protectant over natural nails or over acrylic/dip/gel. It is super easy to apply with a generous large brush and (relatively) minimal nail polish odor. I would recommend this product on polish-breaks between manicures. It is also a great all-purpose travel polish. This treatment was super beneficial for my natural nails. I had just removed my acrylic nails at home with a regular nail file and some acetone, so my nails were weak, dry, and a little brittle. After washing my hands after all the abrasive removal, I put on two layers of this treatment and then some cuticle oil after it dried. Not only are my nails shiny and healthy-looking, they also feel a lot stronger than before. My nails have always been a little weaker and textured, but I genuinely would not be able to see that with this treatment on. My nails are also significantly smoother than they were with all the filing I did. I also found the smell to be quite pleasant compared to normal nail polish and acetone, but maybe that was because I applied it after smelling acetone fumes for a couple hours. While I love it as a treatment, I cannot vouch for it as a base coat nor a top coat, This could be a good “primer” for a base coat, but it doesn’t seem sticky enough to be a good base coat that helps polish adhere to it. I also don’t think the texture is quite smooth or even enough to be a top coat which is meant to seal and even everything.grace.c
I have been learning how to do my own ombre nails and nail stamping. It can be a long process to apply the many different layers to achieve the look I want, and it is very frustrating to go through all that work only to smear the polish on a nail and have to start over. Enter Sally Insta Dri Top Coat. This awesome little gem is a nice consistency and goes on nicely – it's not too thin, yet doesn't gloop everywhere either. It leaves a nice shiny, clear color, and speeds the drying process. It also does not soak through the nail stamping sealer coat, so it doesn't smear the stamped designs. I have tried some expensive top coats that permeate through the layers of polish and ruin the nail stamping designs. The best part, this top coat protects my manicure! I wash dishes, cook, do laundry, type on a computer, shuffle papers around, and this top coat protects through it all! As any nail professional will tell you, you must touch up your manicure with a good top coat every few days if you want to prolong the life of your manicure. This Sally Insta Dri Top Coat is perfect for that, too. I just apply a quick top coat every other day before I leave for work in the morning and it is completely set by the time I arrive at the office. Perfect! These are my real nails. I used to wear fake nails and my nails were so Damaged, I needed a change. My nails are strong, long, and better than ever. 10/10 would recommend using this. I currently have the following Nail-Aid products: Biotin Ultimate Strength, 10 Quick Salon Nail Hacks, 1 Minute Artificials, and Iron Shiel Top Coat. I have used all of them on my nails, most recently I used all of them as my manicure.
These products are inexpensive, and you can find them at Walmart and Amazon (amongst others). These products make your nails very strong, and protect them successfully from breaking. I have not had any breakage since I started using them. Previously I used a different nail hardener, but had breakage with that one.

I was given this polish to restore my nails after having a gel manicure for years. I stopped for covid19, as I couldn’t justify the salon trips with a high health risk person in my household. Sadly, I was forced to let my beautifully appointed gel nail manicure grow out and disappear. Of course what I was left with was entirely awful destroyed nails. Nothing worked, I even gave in into trying Opi Nail Envy which has formaldehyde, I didnt see any difference on the contrary it made my nails worse. I came across this product and gave it a try, I love it!. My nails are strong and long, I also use the hydrating base coat, I use them together. I am on the search for the best nail strengthener after a medical procedure made my nails and hair super brittle. I honestly hate doing my nails at home, but if it’s low maintenance and will help my nails, okay fine. This is the third Sally Hansen strengthener I’ve tried, and I’d say jury is still out on which one ultimately is the best, but the diamond strength is nice! With the exception of my pinky finger, as you can see in my photo, you can barely tell where the ANC ends and my natural nail starts. Which is a huge bonus. I also appreciate that there’s a bit of shine to this, since I’m using it alone, but could also be used as a base coat. This also dried very quickly, which is important as I’m busy and use my hands a lot. No smudges!! As far as strength—well, I haven’t chipped my nails since my application last night, but my nails are quite short. And I try to use my nails gingerly anyway. But it does feel like they won’t immediately break if I were to pry some LEGO pieces apart right now lol!danielle.k
I wore acrylics for about 3 years straight. Maybe more. I finally had decided it was time to take them off, and man were my nails WEAK!! I decided to try this out. It helped my nails so much! The started growing out healthier and stronger and eventually stopped ripping! I wish I had taken progress pictures! I've have tried Sally Henson's Diamond Strength polish. It is a clear polish that has the typical strong chemical smell. It worked well for about a 3 to 4 days on my nails before I noticed it chipping and peeling. Nevertheless, I did notice a break down in the polish before the end of the 7 days. This could have happened because of improper cleaning of my nails the application. The shine of the nail had a lack of luster after drying as well, it would scuff easily. It was a result of the on the job duties that I performed at the time. But, the shine was easy to scuff. However, I did still notice a break down in the polish before 7 days. This isn't a professional gel polish so it will not have that shine that you might be looking for. And it will not sustain that fresh look for a long period of time but for an non professional, over the counter item it will help support your weak nail for a small period of time. So I rated this item with 3 stars. It's not a stellar product in my opinion but I have definitely had a lot worse. So I gave it an average rating, because of the temporary support it gives to your nail but would but advise that results may vary.rita.w

Duri products are amazing! I’ve worn acrylics since 1981 with only brief periods without to rest my nail beds. It got to the point, however, that my natural nails were so soft that acrylic would no longer adhere. Then I discovered Rejuvacoat 1 and 2. In less than three weeks, my natural nails have never been so strong or long. I also purchased several polishes and have been pleased with them as well. The polish goes on easily and doesn’t chip. I had acrylic nails for over 20 years and when the pandemic hit last year, I removed the acrylic nails. Have been trying to get my nails back in better shape. They are thin and brittle and one has been splitting down the entire length of the nail for nearly one year. The dryness of the nails cause breakage with just a little bump to them. Saw this and thought I would try it. I have only applied it for 2 days and so far, it makes my nails feel stronger and I haven't seen any breakage or splitting since the 1st application.
