The design is absolutely gorgeous! Not sure if I just got a batch of bad glue or whatever, but the glue was really hard to get out of the tube, and we did make it a point to put a generous amount on each nail, however they didn't even last two hours. We sat for an hour after applying the nail and while I was putting my wedding dress on, two nails fell off. The photographer was able to help me hide those fingers at first but as pictures were taking place, more and more nails kept falling off. I'm definitely going to try this product again because I absolutely love the design, however I'm not trusting that glue again.

I had the medium length and they looked so pretty. I have wide thumbs and they actually covered my whole thumb which is rare for glue on nails. I do have very flat nails, so when I push down on the nail for the glue to take hold I don't think it had a good connection since the nails have a curve to them. I am also very hard on nails at my work so these did not last very long before they started popping off. I would definitely recommend to a friend to try as everyone's nails are different and it is definitely worth the price if they can work for you. Could have been user error.Kristen
It’s been a while since I have worn glue on nails and wow they have changed. These nails are so beautiful and fit great. The ombré and coffin shape are on trend and the glue was easy to apply and holds the nail well without feeling like it’s pulling on your nail. I received Essie Smooth-E basecoat as a #freeproduct to try for my honest review from #topboxcircle #trytopbox. I had never heard of this basecoat so I was intrigued as it stated it was a ridge filler and would give my nails a smooth finish to apply polish. I use a lot of dark colours especially blue that has a tendency to stain my nails. I did find that with the initial application it gave my nails a matte finish with an almost grippy feel and then I applied my Essie polish in a nice deep blue. It did dry quickly before I applied the polish. I have had the blue nail polish on for a few days and did find my nails chipped almost the next day so that was a little disappointing. I absolutely love the entire Essie line, they always have high quality products. It’s my go to for my mani/pedis. The only issues I’ve come across is that my nail polish never lasted a week. It would constantly chip off, but since trying out this base coat that Essie brilliantly thought of, I no longer have that issue. Initially I was a bit skeptical about this product claiming to smooth the ridges in my nails. I recently had acrylic nails taken off and the removal process wrecked havoc on my nails. The surface of my nails were uneven and they were peeling. When I applied the base coat, I noticed that it filled in the weak spots in my nails. When I applied the nail polish on top, my nails felt so smooth. You would not be able to tell that my nails were damaged. It took me weeks to finally get it in the mail, but I really like this product. My nails are badly damaged from gels and acrylics. The pink color is ok but would not be my choice. It does let me see where it has worn off on the edges more easily though. My nails are easily broken and thin to begin with, so damaged they are very fragile. This is the Orly Nailtrition treatment polish and it retails for $15 at Ulta. This is suppose to be a nail strengthener for peeling and splitting nails. The formula is thick, shiny, and pink. I loved this product. Tbh I have completely ran out cause I used it almost every other day. A little story here so be warned: For 20 years I have struggled with anxiety, well with that I had a nervous habit of picking at my nails till they were in the quick. I have used other products from this brand and have been very disappointed. This one has left me very surprised. I've only used it twice so far, and it seems to work great. Can I say that I've seen growth within 3 days? Honestly, I can't really tell. However, I have noticed a definite change in my nail strength. I’ve always used this brand for their stick-on nails and I’ve never been disappointed in the quality! I put these nails on recently and got two compliments right away about how lovely they were. Are they as good as actual acrylic nails? No, of course not. They’re only $7-8$ versus $50 for acrylics. Naturally you have to take the product and pricing into consideration! These will typically last me a week and a half to two weeks and I work a manual labor job that requires constant use of my hands. I think anyone who is having issues may not be pressing as hard as they need to in order to properly apply the nail, or could be having issues with correct sizing. The sizing is the one down fall I have with this products as my nails are larger and I have to use the biggest size for my thumbs and those only have exactly two. So if I mess up then I basically wasted a pack of nails. I loved the first box I bought. They stayed on for 10 days through all of daily activities. The second box had sizes missing. I emailed JOAH and you quickly sent me out a replacement box which is great customer service. thanks!! However even though I completely cleaned my nails and used alcohol to prep, they didn't stay on. I lost some the next day and only 1 stayed on for the whole week. It was weird that the second box didn't last and I didn't do anything differently. I want to love them! I have had these nails on for 2-1/2 weeks now. They were easy to put on. I am always washing my hands or dishes (no dishwasher) and these nails have stayed on, not coming loose at all. I have not tried to remove them yet but will do so in about a week because the space between my cuticle and the artificial nail is becoming more evident now. I have another set in the dark blue matte finish waiting in the wings. These nails have not bent or fallen off. You must apply them to very clean, dry nails. I used polish remover and then the alcohol pad, which was included, to make sure my nails were clean and dry. Got many compliments on them. They actually protected my short, stubby real nails and allowed them to actually grow out a bit these last few weeks.Satisfied

These products are amazing! Before I bought this, I wasn’t using dehydrator or primer at all. But, I saw these two products and I used them on my nails and none of them have popped off yet.. unlike how they were when I didn’t have primer and dehydrator. I've been using this acrylic nail primer for awhile now and as much as I do like Mia secret I'm not sure that this is actually doing anything except making my brush go hard. I've used it with regular acrylic and more recently with dip powder and it doesn't seem to make the product stay on any better then when I don't use it. Maybe I'm just a novice and I'm not doing it right but I've watched enough videos to get the drift. You do your nail prep, push your cuticles back and get all the dead skin off the nail plate, then use the nail prep liquid which is basically a dehydrator to get all the oil off the natural nail then use the primer to help the acrylic bond to the nail. Maybe I got an old one or something because I did get it off Amazon…. But all It does is make my brushes get all hard and I have to use the brush saver liquid. Idk. I'm going to use it a little more but I think I'm going to get a different primer to see if it works any better and if it works the same as this one then I know it's something I'm doing and not the product.katie.s
These absolutely work and will make your nails last for a long time. I used both of these along with OPI Nail Bond. My acrylic nails do not break or bend (I'm a little rough with cleaning and I type all day at work with my long nails). I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! When it comes to nail polish, I tend to be quite skeptical especially since gel is a go-to. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this Essie polish due to its color, application and wear. In terms of color, this shade looks great with one coat or multiple depending on the look youre going for. And since it has a nice shimmer to it, it doesnt show imperfections or chips either. I love natural colors, so this one was an A+ for me. Because you can really build up the opacity of this polish, this made applying it really easy with three main swipes across the nail. And due to the shimmer, its really forgiving even if you do make a mistake. The brush was also quite flat and wide, which helped with the application process. (Drying time was quite short especially if you do thin layers). This polish was also great in terms of wear and is still holding up well after a good week of wearing it. Granted I did apply a topcoat, this still held up through housework and doing dishes by hand. In all, Im a big fan of this shade of Essie polish and think it would be perfect year round if not an easy to upkeep color in the summer months on my fingers and toes.AleksandraM
I am obsessed with Essie, that’s all I have bought since 10 years ago. I have tried Tuck it in my Tux and few others and decided Marshmallow has the best hue!!!! I love the color, not too white not pink, just right. The formula however is horrible. The first couple of times after opening the bottle is great except in order not to get streaks you have to apply 3 coats. After a few days of opening the bottle, the formula gets thick and clumpy and not usable!!! Also, the mandatory 3 layers make the nail polish to peel off in a day or two because it’s simply two thick and rubber feel like almost. Please note this is a constructive review for Essie, I am asking you to please change this formula since I love your products. I would love others to enjoy this wonderful nail polish but at this stage I am not able to use this color anymore. I don’t like anything with sparkle or shine and neither one of your colors mimic marshmallows. The open bottles show the clumps on top. Unfortunately my video would not upload. It's my own fault. I keep buying Sally Hansen products and 90% of the time, they disappoint me. This one is my biggest mistake. Like other reviewers have said, The Moonstone color looks much more appealing in the bottle. When I paint my nail, it's so thin and barely shows. I have to do three coats just to see anything. Unfortunately, it looks and feels like those cheap nail polishes meant for children. I figured it could be used as a cute top coat since it's so clear, but it goes on clumpy and somehow there's tiny air bubbles? The only positive is that it does dry within 60 seconds. I got this back in June from my local sallys beauty store, to paint my nails before I left for California. Never painted my nails until today. The bottle is not even 3 months old and omg it is horrible. The color is so beautiful but the application was applying like it is was a oldie. Streaks, very splotchy not at all impressed. Even with the double duty polish by sally hansen there is no saving this horrible nail polish. Air bubbles, smears so easily even though I waited 10 minutes to make sure it was dry. It’s possible I got a bad batch, but my experience with this polish was terrible. I got the ‘My Ca-Banana’ colour. The first time I used it, I couldn’t get it to go on my nails evenly at all, it was extremely streaky and formed clumps that wouldn’t smooth out. I kept trying and ended up needing to do three and a half coats to get it opaque. I let each coat dry in front of a fan on high for 10 minutes, and 20 minutes after I had finished, I bumped my toe into the corner of a table and the polish came right off of that nail in one clump. I initially chocked this up to me not having painted my own nails in a very long time and maybe just doing too many coats so I took it all off and tried again.
I did two thin coats, drying for 10 minutes between, over 40 hours ago now and I can /still/ press my fingernail into it and leave an obvious dent. It was tacky up until about 24 hours after applying. Dont bother with this nail polish, any other cheap nail polish would be better.Onyx Cave

I absolutely hate waiting for polish to dry. We all got stuff ta to you know? What's worse is waking up realizing that you've somehow smeared your polish that should have dried hours ago in your sleep. Can anyone relate? Well that was not happen with this polish. It dries so quickly that unless you're just not paying attention you can't mess it up. It goes on well too, as well as any polish I've tried and I don't buy the cheap stuff. Here's the cons. It chips easily if you do not wear gloves when doing work around the house or if you have to wash your hands a lot. It's also hard to remove. I scrub and scrub and the three kinds I have with shimmer in them, the glitter wants to hang on no matter what. Then there's the health of my nails. I'm pretty sure that this polish has made my nails peel at the tips so it's probably drying my nails. Ok so if you need a quick manicure this is the polish for you. If you hate waiting or just don't have time to wait this is the polish for you. I would recommended trying a base coat, which I am going to try soon, to see if it helps the issues I've mentioned.Brynn
This is some of the best nail polish I've tried, and I do home manis every week. The colors are on point, more unique than other brands which is one thing I love about this brand. This formula dries smooth and clear, and lasts. I wash my hands a lot and polish only lasts 2-3 days before I need a touch up, but it's easy to touch up and color blends smoothly. Best of all, it does dry quickly which is a huge selling point for me because I tend to paint my nails before bed while winding down and watching TV, and never seem to leave enough time for them to dry before I'm ready for bed! This was my first time trying Essie and I am extremely impressed. It's quick dry in about a minute meaning I can do right before bed and it's not wrecked in the morning. I was also impressed with my application because normally I 'colour outside the lines' lol. But it wasn't me- it's their first ever angled brush that makes applying with your non-dominant hand a breeze. It also has amazing staying power- one coat lasted over 10 days. This vegan formula is made without formaldehyde, toluene and a bunch of other chemicals or animal derived ingredients. My only very small complaint is that you need 2-3 coats or you can see through to your nails but since it's quick dry, it's not really a big deal. Definitely a great alternative to paying the salon price for gel manicures. You do need to be meticulous while applying the strips to make sure your nails are clean, that the strips do not extend past your nail into the skin or cuticle (all will cause the polish to easily peel right off). Like any nail polish, the wear depends on how often you wash your hands and what products you come in contact with. However, I love how I can get a spot-on mani without any dry time at home, plus these come in lots of cool colors and designs.maria.i
I love the these nail strips! Putting them on gets easier and faster, and they last a long time – about two weeks (or longer if you add another top coat every week, which is what I did when my nail broke and taking it off would mean that it would hurt). I would much rather deal with gel strips every two weeks than have to deal with nail polish that chips off after about two days. And the colors/designs are really cute! If you haven’t tried it, IT’s TIME! I usually am not one to write glowing reviews, but after 6 years of constant nail enhancements (dip powder, gel, and acrylic), I finally have healthy and strong NATURAL nails again! When the pandemic first happened, I was on of the many people who didn’t know what to do without my nail shop. Once my dip powder grew out, my nails were red, thin, brittle and peeling! They were sensitive to touch! I let the sensitivity go away, and then I purchased nailtiques formula 2 plus! After about 1 1/2 months of constant use (one coat applied every day for a week and then removing it on the 7th day and repeat), my nails have never been better! I wear polish and people always think that it’s gel. I also use formula 1 for maintenance, but I don’t have to even use it all the time. If you’re apprehensive, don’t be! It literally just takes consistency. Don’t give up, because it WILL work.Loren
I’ve been wearing acrylic nails for well over 20 years and since everything was initially closed from COVID-19, I started bringing my severely damaged nails back to health. I won’t step foot in a salon again! I think overall this does strengthen the nails however, because it does contain formaldehyde I DO NOT use as frequently as directed. I apply one coat and let it stay for a week. During that time I use the Hard as Hoof nail cream to keep my nails and cuticles moist. Once I remove the polish, I DO NOT immediately go to reapply this process. Instead, I let my nails BREATH (still applying my nail cream) for about a week and then redo the polish. Some people don’t realize that it’s really not good to keep burdening your nails with excess or repeated polishing habits as they will equally do just as much damage to the nail. I also DO NOT use acetone polish remover (the less you expose your nails to harsh chemicals, the better off your nails will be), I use this incredibly phenomenal plant based product (that you can also get from Target) called Blossom and it conditions your nails as you take the polish off! I used this (2 plus) back in the 90’s when an iron deficiency resulted in weak and brittle nails. They were beautiful after a couple of months use. Since then, I’ve used the no. 1 formula on occasion. Recently, several rounds of surgery and anesthesia left my nails in a dreadful state.
