Wow! Finally a kid-friendly nail Polish that actually goes on nicely and LASTS!! The colors are beautifully vibrant and I love that they all have a nice shimmer/sparkle to them. I used the top/base coat on my two kids (4 and 6 year olds) then alternated with the purple, green, and pink colors to their liking for both nails and toes. I really appreciate that that it doesn’t smell like chemicals! I don’t have to worry about my kids inhaling the fumes or putting their hands in their mouths (one of them likes to bite her nails). I loved the saturated color and it lasted for 2 weeks on my toes without chipping. I did experience some chipping on my fingernails after 5 days. I used Sally Hansen base and top coat with both toes and fingers. I usually use a soy based polish remover for removal all my polishes ((usually Sally Hansen, Opi and Essie). However, the polish wouldn’t come off with the soy polish remover. Luckily I had some acetone remover and was able to use that. Even with the acetone remover, it took me an hour to get the polish off my fingers! I didn’t bother trying to remove the polish off my toes. I went to a nail salon and they had to soak off the polish with acetone remover and file off the remnants of polish. They asked me if I was wearing gel polish. I had to show them the bottle. I won’t use this polish again. I get the same staying power with my regular polishes with the headache of removal.LadyCG

My daughter loves the polish colors and the stickers. The polish quality isn’t like an adult polish and/or polish with more chemicals. The polish chips off by the next day just from normal everyday activities, hand washing, bath. My daughter doesn’t mind but then she just asks to paint her nails every other day. Lol. I have even used the blow dryer but I don’t notice it makes the polish last any longer. I do like that the polish doesn’t smell and is non toxic and because it chips off I never have to use nail polish remover, which I like. Also the stickers never stay on more than an hour. I'm not sure if I got a fluke pack or what. Based on the reviews I was excited for my daughter to try this, but within 2 hours a significant amount of the polish comes off. Even with my daughter being fairly inactive. I thought maybe I didn't do it well. So I shook them extra good, then tried 3 coats, drying with a hair dryer on a low setting in between, but still the same problem. I understand kid's polish shouldn't last as long as regular polish, but it's useless if it comes off the second the kid touches something.Amy28
You must use blow dryer after a few layers, you must use top coat (the whitish colour in the bottle -they have another product that is clear not that one, but you need the top coat). The top coat makes all the streaks go away. Of course blow dry after applying top coat. On kids it lasts a few days depending on how active they are and how much they let u blow dry . On adults without any chips 2 3 days, and then small chips. The only con is that its hard to take off after 3 days. I used reg nail polish remover and alcohol was more effective . Lotsa elbow grease and at the end I used the electic nail mani set to buff /file off the color. Obviously doesn’t last super long. First, let me say that I read reviews prior to my purchase and was conflicted as to whether or not this purchase would be worth both my time and money. What I am finding out, after many purchases of many different items, is that I should typically ignore the poor reviews as though individuals are likely not doing something correctly when it comes to the product. For instance, I read that this product (for some) needed to be repainted mulitple times within the day. That is simply not true if you follow the instructions that are attached with the clear Piggy Paint base and sealcoat. You need to use the basecoat as a base and seal coat to maintain the weat and you should also make sure that you are drying the polish for 60 seconds (for all coats) with a blow dryer on warm. My daughter's nails look super adorable and she loves them so much! We are on day 2 of her wearing them and they are all in tact (with some smudges due to me places banana stickers on her fingers that fell off; this had nothing to do with the polish itself). My advice: by the polish and follow the directions. Don't be swayed by the negative reviews as they likely did not follow the instructions. I have no review as to the removal of the polish, but that is because my daughter is still wearing it 🙂Lovelovelove
Amazing product! Cute colors and love that this is chemical free for my little one. She gets many compliments and loves having her nails and toenails painted. Thank We used the base top coat and followed directions using a low setting on a hair dryer to help cure it. It has lasted weeks with very minor chipping (and she sucks her thumb!). In fact, I am having a difficult time removing it with nail polish remover. Am really impressed with the quality and appreciate the fun colors.LoveE
We actually (my 5 year old daughter and I ) did not like this nail polish AT ALL. I don’t understand why all the good reviews actually. I paint my daughters nails all the time with other polishes and all us good. Not this! I thought this was cute because of the tiny bottles and colors but it comes off immediately after you paint it on, so what’s the point? I completely agree with the other reviewers that say this just doesn’t work cause it never stays on an entire day, which for me defeats the purpose of taking the time to paint the nails. I tried the BLACK 565 POWERSLIDE; stayed on for a week or longer, depending on how often you wash your hands or use clean products without gloves. I found this color at WAL-MART. How to apply to last; put on a Sally Hards As Nail color first, let dry. Then put on 2 coats of this bling. Let dry between coats. More sparkles; more coats. 2 coats is perfect. I bought this recently at a Walgreens. Like most glitter it looks better in the bottle than on your nails. I love this line and honestly want to get the white because the white I have is very runny and hard to work with. This is first and only color of the line I've had an issue with and I've bought like 5-6 shades. The large glitter when you apply sometimes never attaches to the nail. Nude nails don't show it very well. I tried for an opal look and a black accent nail. It just gathers the glitter if you try to restroke at the end of the nail. Basically I can only imagine applying a dozen thin coats at a time and hoping to get lucky that the glitter lands. Better off with decals. I got this back in June from my local sallys beauty store, to paint my nails before I left for California. Never painted my nails until today. The bottle is not even 3 months old and omg it is horrible. The color is so beautiful but the application was applying like it is was a oldie. Streaks, very splotchy not at all impressed. Even with the double duty polish by sally hansen there is no saving this horrible nail polish. Air bubbles, smears so easily even though I waited 10 minutes to make sure it was dry. I LOVE that this piggy paint is available, and made with better ingredients, so it doesn't have the string, overwhelming scent that regular polish does. I can let my daughter paint her own nails with this and know that she not going to be inhaling harmful chemicals. It also cleans off of surfaces so much easier as well.
