My daughter loves the polish colors and the stickers. The polish quality isn’t like an adult polish and/or polish with more chemicals. The polish chips off by the next day just from normal everyday activities, hand washing, bath. My daughter doesn’t mind but then she just asks to paint her nails every other day. Lol. I have even used the blow dryer but I don’t notice it makes the polish last any longer. I do like that the polish doesn’t smell and is non toxic and because it chips off I never have to use nail polish remover, which I like. Also the stickers never stay on more than an hour. I'm not sure if I got a fluke pack or what. Based on the reviews I was excited for my daughter to try this, but within 2 hours a significant amount of the polish comes off. Even with my daughter being fairly inactive. I thought maybe I didn't do it well. So I shook them extra good, then tried 3 coats, drying with a hair dryer on a low setting in between, but still the same problem. I understand kid's polish shouldn't last as long as regular polish, but it's useless if it comes off the second the kid touches something.Amy28
You must use blow dryer after a few layers, you must use top coat (the whitish colour in the bottle -they have another product that is clear not that one, but you need the top coat). The top coat makes all the streaks go away. Of course blow dry after applying top coat. On kids it lasts a few days depending on how active they are and how much they let u blow dry . On adults without any chips 2 3 days, and then small chips. The only con is that its hard to take off after 3 days. I used reg nail polish remover and alcohol was more effective . Lotsa elbow grease and at the end I used the electic nail mani set to buff /file off the color. Obviously doesn’t last super long. Love love love! There are not enough words to express how much I love this too coat! It is a bit on the pricey side, however, it is well worth it! Other top coats have never held up as well as this one. There is no smudging, and they last for several days before chipping (which is the first top coat to ever do that for me). Its just your average top coat. Calling this anywhere close to gel is a joke. I followed up a red gel couture polish with this matching top coat and within a few hours my nails have all ready chipped and worn on the tips. Save your money and get a lower cost alternative, it's going to do just as well. This also drags off the color of your polish with it regardless of how long your polish has been drying. I wanted to love this and I wanted it to last more than a few hours.katie.l
This top coat is pretty good! It was very easy apply, and went on very smooth. I had no issues applying it. It did take 5-10 minutes to fully dry. Within the first couple of days I was noticing that the polish under the top coat started the break apart but the top coat was still doing well. By day 3 I was starting to see some small chips on some of my nails, but one nail I had tried a different kind of gel polish from Essie (the blue/grey nail) and that one didn't have any chips yet. It is day 4 now of wearing the polishes, the blue/grey polish on my left hand (my non dominant hand) has a small chip at the side, but my right is still doing well. It seems like the polish underneath determines how well the top coat does and lasts. Some last, some don't. It's a pretty good top coat though!louise.c

I have the mini macaron individual nail lamp that actually looks like a macaron and comes with a full size polish in rose gold. I bought this set expecting similar success but I was a bit disappointed. First off the mini polishes are really hard to use. The brush is so short that it makes applying the polish incredibly difficult. I know what they were going for but the design is all wrong. A taller narrow bottle would have been better if they wanted to make minis. The shorter bottle is so frustrating that alone makes me want to return it. Secondly the lamp while aesthetically cute is not practical because you have to cure the thumb separately from the fingers. This feels like a huge design flaw. I want a salon quality gel manicure at home and I don’t see why a lamp this size won’t accommodate my whole hand. The other thing is that the lamp doesn’t seem to cure as well as the single finger lamp. Now to the pros, the colors are beautiful and limited edition. According to their website they can only be acquired through this deluxe set. But again the bottle brush are a pain. The bottom of the lamp is removable for pedicures but is difficult to slide the bottom of tray in and out. I have used this twice now and I love it! I feel like if you set your expectations properly, it’s a great product. The thing I hate most about painting my nails is that I never have time to let them dry properly so they always dent and chip. These cure right away in the machine so even if my kids interrupt me for something, I can get up and then come back to doing my nails. I’ve had mine on for 3 days now with very minimal chipping. With normal polish by day 3 it’s halfway gone. Keep the coats thin and do 2 coats, drying in between. Is it the same quality as a salon manicure? No. But I paid the same cost as a salon manicure to be able to do it whenever I want so this is a perfect filler to take away from having to get my nails done every 2-3 weeks. I wanted to try Le Mini Macaron for a while, because it looked so easy and was in such cute packaging, plus not having to go to a salon really appeals to me. I saw the Rose Gold and Cherry kits on sale once, and my daughter got them for me for Christmas. I followed the directions and BAM! Beautiful long-lasting manicure at last! Since then I've experimented with other one-step brands and had good success, but this one is the best so far. The process is super-easy, smooth application and a 30-second cure, will not chip (on me at least), does not dull out. Additionally, it is easy to remove. This set is so adorable, and great for littles who like their nails done. My daughter is 7, and often the smell of typical nail polish is too much for her. I LOVE that this piggy paint is available, and made with better ingredients, so it doesn't have the string, overwhelming scent that regular polish does. I actually have the 16 color + base and top coat kit but it wasn't available for me to select. All in all, this is a nice kit. I probably won't use some of the shades but it had the best option on Amazon for neutral + glitter combinations. The shades I am wearing in this photo are 030 (the pink), 108 (white as a base for ring finger), and 278 (gold glitter). I like that they included the base and top coat; which makes it easy to do a complete look. Warning – the bottles with the actual shades are quite small. Only the base top coat are full size. But that's okay with me since I wanted to test out the formula and sample their shades prior to committing to a full size bottle. Overall, pretty good…for now. We shall see.vicki.n
I love this product. Since getting the nail kit I have saved so much time and money avoiding going to the nail salon. The kit is super easy to use, but with practice you can create such fun designs. I really love the vibrant colour. It looks great when applied and is also easy to apply. It has lasted quite well on my toenails. Unfortunately on fingernails it scratches and wears off very quickly – more quickly then ordinary varnishes. Usually I am not one to spend money on nail polish since I wear them so selectively but figured that I would give this one a shot since the ingredients are wonderful! Really impressed with the quality. Only a bit of sparkle/shine on this particular color and for a 'pleasing peach', it can look like a light pink in different lights instead of orange. So I would compromise with, its a pink orange with light changing abilities 🙂 Still has a slight nail polish smell but better than other products I have used. I really, really like the fact that the Lippmann nail projects are healthier for nails, and also like how quickly it dries. But I do wish the polish looked fresh a bit longer. I use the Lippmann Base Coat, 2 coats of Gel Lab Pro Nail Color, and then Top Coat, as instructed. But that’s apparently not quite enough. I’ve watched the Lippmann videos about how to apply everything, and I’ve done it exactly as instructed (including wiping the brush under the tips with each coat) but the tips seem to wear thin even within a day. I’m not hard on my nails, and when I have nail polish on, I’m particularly careful. I’m no nail polish affionado by any means, as I stopped wearing nail polish years ago because of the toxicity. But I really do like the look and feel of this product and I’m not giving up! Next time I’m going to apply an extra coat of Top Coat and see if that helps.DevotedNordyShopper
I have this in “wild orchid” which is not an option here. I LOVE this nail polish. It really looks and feels like a gel mani without having to cure it under UV. I only painted my nails last night so I can’t say too much about longevity, but I will say that with regular nail polish I do notice chipping as early as the first night. I haven’t had any chipping or incidents of the polish peeling off so far. My nails look so sleek and shiny, and this nail Polish dries faster than any that I’ve used! I had never used Deborah Lippmann before as I honestly think $20 is kinda ridiculous for nail Polish… but I can say that I’m quite impressed and will be purchasing other colors in moderation.ashley .s

I may be late to the OPI Mexico City Collection's Spring 2020 release, but at least I finally found that rad yellow creme! With my pale, pink-toned skin, finding a yellow that is saturated without leaning too dark, pastel, or neon — AND has a 3-coat (or less) formula — is a real challenge. I got my hands on this color after stumbling into an Amazon sale (the "Buy at least $20 worth of these selected items, get $5 off" kind? It was the first time I tried it out!) where a few of the OPI Mexico City colors were included. I had heard about this color for a while, and watched nail polish swatchers on YouTube include it in their side-by-side yellow polish comparisons every season, but I could never find it in-stock at a reasonable shipping rate until that sale. Score! As you can see from my photo, it's a slightly lighter yellow, but it works like a standard yellow on my fair skin when compared to darker shades. It pops in just the right way! Plus, its formula is 3 coats maximum for full opacity, which is hard to achieve with yellow polish at any price point. (Don't you hate it when a color of polish is sold as the brand's "standard primary color," only to find out it takes 4 or 5 streaky coats to achieve that color? So many polish brands do that with yellow and white, even at the salon level. No, thank you!) I've been in in a real yellow mood this summer, so I'm so happy to find a great color that works for me in 3 coats and doesn't chip easily after a few days!elizabeth.o

This is a great starter kit. I like that inside the light where you place your hand is bumps to guide you as to where is best to place your fingers. The instructions for the entire process are easy to follow. The key to placing the polish is to ensure it doesn't sit in the cuticles or the sides where the nail meets the skin. This formula is long lasting and in my humble opinion is professional quality. I use the foundation or base coat then any brand of gel color including other professional brands and then finish with the step 3 or top coat. The top coat is so shiny and really makes the colors pop. The top coat feels so silky, the product lasts a long time, and ny friends cannot tell I do it myself. Great investment. I have had my kit for 7 years and the light is still curing polish like a champ! In the money i have saved using this kit I basically paid for it by a couple of uses rather than going to the salon. It comes with everything you will need to complete a gel manicure. It includes the base coat, top coat, and nail color. It also includes fancy alcohol pads to remove the sticky layer. An orange wood stick to clean under nails and push back the cuticles. It also includes a nail file/ buffer. Most importantly it includes an LED lamp to cure your polish after every layer. I've always wanted to be able to have classy, painted nails without spending a ton. Regular nail polish always chips way too fast. This is the product I've needed all my life! Very pretty, but I did not get the colors shown in the picture. I received similar colors, I guess, but I bought it wanting the colors that were shown/advertised. Also, one of the bottles was spilled all over, making it an empty bottle when it was delivered. Then 2 other bottles were old, I'm guessing, because it had the consistency of glue. The bottles were not filled all the way, and they smell really strong. I gave 2 stars because if I would've got fresh, unspilled, new bottles that contained the colors I thought I was purchasing, they have potential.Jennifer

Pigmentation is dense, so one coat of darker shades (orange, pinks) is enough to do the job; lighter shades (mint, yellow, nude) requires second coat.
