I’m going to make this short and to the point. If you’re a woman who dreads wearing sandals and flip flops in public because you’re always self conscious due to a few problem toenails that look like they should belong to Shrek instead of yourself, you are wasting valuable time sitting on the fence while you should be knocking it down to get this stuff! The results are rather fast. It only took about three days for it to tame the beast of a nail that has caused me so much agony due to being thick and lifted from the nail bed. It’s also done wonders for the unsightly, off white color of the tips on my big toes, and I was also amazed that it got rid of all of the crusty cuticles on my little toes. I never realized that yes, I do indeed have normal sized pinky nails, not just tiny nubs pretending to be my little toenails! Why, oh why did I ever pass on this stuff because I thought it was too expensive?! Knowing what I know now, I would gladly pay double for it! I was very optimistic about Kerasal after promises of visible results in 2 days. After 8 weeks of use I had to stop since my nails were getting progressively worse. I paid $30.00 for a small tube of this ineffective product. After opening the package I read the directions and at the bottom in tiny print it said it was not an anti fungal which can only be prescribed be a physician. Turns out this is a cosmetic, not a cure. The outer package should say that. Instead I wasted $30.00 on a product that gives the false impression it is a cure. I think I will contact the Federal Trade Commission and ask if they agree that this and similar products should display warnings in large print on the outer package that this is a cosmetic not an anti-fungal.

I purchased this product back in February and wanted to try it before writing this review. The Nonyx Gel has nearly cleared the problem and the nail is returning to its original pink color. People need to read the box before trying this. It softens the fungal debris so it can be removed, taking away the food supply for the fungus but it takes time. The key is to get it under the nail as far as possible and then periodically clean out the softened gunk underneath. If you don’t do this it won’t work. So if you want instant gratification then neither this nor any anti fungal will make you happy. But if you follow instructions it will work over time, quicker for some, slower for others depending on the degree of fungal infection. If you’ve let your feet go for awhile it will take longer. So the secret is to be patient. Tip: also put some gel on the pad of a band aid and then wear it wrapped around the nail. Change daily. Will slightly accelerate process.John
I have used Nonyx for the last month or so after trying many different things to combat toenail fungus. None seemed to have much effect but since Nonyx my nails are a lot whiter and growing out looking better. I have several that have been thickened for quite some time and they are still thick, but by keeping them closely trimmed and cleaned out under the nail and apply Nonyx twice a day I can see some improvement. Does not happen overnight but over time I think they are showing improvement. I would suggest that a brush of some kind be included with the Nonyx as I have had to use one I had for another toe nail product to adequately push the product up under the toenails as far as I can. My only concern is that I have read that Nonyx does not get to the real problem – the fungus – but helps with appearance which it does. I’ve been dealing with a gross nail fungus On my right big toe for about 8 months now. I can honestly say I don’t remember having bare toes in years. They’re always polished. I also had a bad habit last summer of wearing my tennis shoes without socks. I was horrified earlier this year when the lady at the nail shop told me I had fungus! I had never and I was embarrassed. I tried Vicks for a bit but found it to be too messy. I also tried creams and an organic oil treatment that did nothing. I stumbled upon this but I was skeptical since it appeared to be getting worse. I clipped and filed my nail weekly hoping to magically remove it. I removed acrylics that I had for years during COVID and I have finally got my nails to grow out and I decided I didn't want to go back to acrylics. I ordered one color and the top coat of this brand. I've tried a lot of products and this polish really does work and does not chip for at least 6-7 days and more. I am now getting rid of all of my polish and replacing with this. For the people that say it streaks, the first coat can be a little streaky but the second coat goes on smooth and self levels it's self and the top coat is great. Remember to seal the edge of your nails with the top coat. I do use KUR ridge filler as the base coat though. It's a great smoothing base for your polish and I have also been using Solar Oil on my cuticles and on my entire nail on polish off days. These products have given me the best nails I've had in years. I'll never get acrylics or gels again. Highly recommend.PDRN

It's a GORGEOUS cross between a coral and watermelon with beautiful golden sparkles. I apply several coats and top it with Deborah Lippmann's Addicted to Speed clear top coat. It's such a fun color and makes me happy (well as much as a nail color can). It has excellent staying power, too. It lasts on my fingers about 2 weeks, and it totally stays on my toes. PROS: The color is gorgeous — it's the perfect highlighter yellow without being too green or too obnoxious. No white undies needed AND it doesn't dry matte! And the formula has that plasticized finish, where after it's dry, it doesn't chip. CONS: Upon first application, the formula was smooth and easy to work with. But as I kept painting, the formula just got harder and harder to manipulate. The more you dip in and out, the stickier and gloopier it gets, until you can hardly paint one good stroke without it being so thick that it won't dry or so thin that it drags the previous layer (this is also something I noticed with Synthetic Symphony to a milder degree). This kind of neon polish also requires careful top coating and maintenance. You can see every streak, smudge, and inconsistency. Overall, the painting experience and the aftercare was so laborious that this polish isn't worth it for me. I think you could augment the formula with some thinner and also roll the polish in between each stroke to help with consistency, but that's more work than I would like to put in.Cheny N.
Being a typical Celtic redhead I have very dry skin, hair and nails. My nails in particular break low down across the nail bed, snap off at the corners and flake from the free edge. They get especially dry after I use remover (always acetone-free), no matter which brand I use and I always have to apply nail oil and cuticle serum after removing varnish to prevent further dehydration. I've tried various nail treatments from Orly and other brands over the years, but with limited success. I've also tried not using strengthening treatments at all, and just applying oil and serum, but that hasn't made any long term difference either. When I saw the on-air presentation for this product I jumped at the chance to try it, as it's specifically targeted at dry nails. So….. I applied it for just 5 days Mon – Fri, as I like to wear colour on the weekend. When I removed it to do my manicure, I couldn't believe the difference in my nails: Every flake had been 'resealed', there wasn't a dry patch on my nails and they looked plumper, smoother, pinker and overall much healthier. Ive had extremely thin, brittle, dry fingernails for years and have tried just about every nail strengthening formula on the market, without seeing any improvement in the look or condition of my fingernails. I was therefore hesitant to spend money on yet another nail treatment, but having read consistently very good reviews of this one on various websites from people experiencing similar nail problems as myself, i thought I'd give it one final go at restoring my nails to a decent appearance and condition. Well, im so glad i did! Within a week of applying one coat daily to my nails, they felt and looked stronger. I continued this regime for another week as advised by the QVC Orly presenter for very problematic nails. A month later and my nails are now looking and feeling great! I've used this to treat nail fungus twice, and it worked both times. First time was on my thumb nail and second time on my big toe nail. My thumb nail was only partially affected, so I wasn't too surprised about this medicine getting rid of the infection. My toenail got really bad (under nail polish) before I caught it. It was greenish black all over. I used this medicine on the toenail daily for a few weeks, then just once or twice a month.
