I loved this product. Tbh I have completely ran out cause I used it almost every other day. A little story here so be warned: For 20 years I have struggled with anxiety, well with that I had a nervous habit of picking at my nails till they were in the quick. I found this product through my mom (a nail technician) plus vegan pure multivitamin nail hardener (also at Walmart) I started using these products every other day. I have used other products from this brand and have been very disappointed. This one has left me very surprised. I've only used it twice so far, and it seems to work great. Can I say that I've seen growth within 3 days? Honestly, I can't really tell. However, I have noticed a definite change in my nail strength. I have very brittle nails that break and peel if they get long so I’ve always been on the lookout for something that helps and this works wonders! It took me weeks to finally get it in the mail, but I really like this product. My nails are badly damaged from gels and acrylics. The pink color is ok but would not be my choice. It does let me see where it has worn off on the edges more easily though. My nails are easily broken and thin to begin with, so damaged they are very fragile. My daughter bought me this a year ago (by accident – she thought it was the polish). I've used the polish before and found that it you miss a day, the nail crumbles where it chips off so I was quite glad! It doesn't work overnight but over months it really has made a huge difference. 9-14-20: This review is on the Sally Hansen, Hard as Nails, Vitamin Strength Serum. It took longer for me, compared to other reviewers, to see results. I used only this product on my nails (twice a day) for about one month. I wanted to see if it would work. I was going to give up on it, but I started seeing results. My nails have always peeled and broken easily. My nails are now stronger, thicker, longer and not peeling. I have sensitive skin and this item did not cause any irritation like some nail products do. I have also long used a ceramic/glass file, instead of an emery board, which can separate layers of the nail. The only suggestion I have on the Vitamin Strength Serum is that I think a brush would have worked better. I also wanted to comment on the packaging of item. I like that you can see through the bottle. I have used the "Nail Growth Serum" in the dark gold colored bottle. It works well, but I don't like how you can't see how much product is remaining in bottle. Also, like others commented, I did not like the dropper that bottle has.Lou1

I'm only on week 3 of the process, which is a month long, but so far I've absolutely loved this nail strengthener! I've tried tons of other nail strengtheners, including a $25 one, and this is the best one I've used so far. It doesn't tint the tips of your nails or turn them yellow, and it has a very natural sheen–not too glossy. My nails are stronger than they've ever been. I have only chipped a nail once, and that was at my job during the first week of using this strengthener (I work a pretty hands on, physical job). Since then, I haven't broken or chipped a single nail. I plan on continuing to wear this as a base coat or just naturally on my nails once I'm done with the month. While I credit the No More Bitting polish for helping me kick the habit, the health of my nails I attribute to oiling my cuticles and First Aid Kiss. Long ago I gave up on my nails, trying to just handle them short to curtail their peeling and splitting tendencies. Last march I had a shellac mani to be fancy for a wedding and it ruined my already quite pathetic nails. After several months of trying to grow out a vertical split that had resulted I searched for something that would strengthen them enough to at least get back to normal shorties. Well, I saw this product and the reviews and thought i would give it a try. I did follow directions to the letter, which helped and it was at a vacation time for me so I could stay on track. After the first two weeks I had never seen my nails so 'non splitty' , and something in this is definitely fortifying them. After the initial two weeks I went into the 2 week every other day schedule, and I went ahead and purchased the soy remover as well. Pros: much 'cleaner' product line than any I see. Virtually no odor or strong smell, makes application pleasant. Products work better than any I ever used on my mid 50's nails! Cons: none yet, and I just ordered from the Labor day sale. This is certainly a handy all-in-one product that can be used as a base coat, top coat, fill-in, and nail protectant. I typically do gel or dip on my nails because they are very brittle and prone to flaking. I apply this product over my 1+ week old dip nails to give them extra shine. This product has a lovely, moisturizing gel-like texture that gives a wonderful shine. However, because it has a thicker, more moisturizing consistency, it takes a very long time to dry so would probably not be ideal as a top coat for regular nail polish. If you don’t touch it at all, the finish is beautiful, but even if you accidentally touch it hours later before it has fully dried, the finish can become texturized and dull. I think this is best used as a nail protectant over natural nails or over acrylic/dip/gel. It is super easy to apply with a generous large brush and (relatively) minimal nail polish odor. I would recommend this product on polish-breaks between manicures. It is also a great all-purpose travel polish. This treatment was super beneficial for my natural nails. I had just removed my acrylic nails at home with a regular nail file and some acetone, so my nails were weak, dry, and a little brittle. After washing my hands after all the abrasive removal, I put on two layers of this treatment and then some cuticle oil after it dried. Not only are my nails shiny and healthy-looking, they also feel a lot stronger than before. My nails have always been a little weaker and textured, but I genuinely would not be able to see that with this treatment on. My nails are also significantly smoother than they were with all the filing I did. I also found the smell to be quite pleasant compared to normal nail polish and acetone, but maybe that was because I applied it after smelling acetone fumes for a couple hours. While I love it as a treatment, I cannot vouch for it as a base coat nor a top coat, This could be a good “primer” for a base coat, but it doesn’t seem sticky enough to be a good base coat that helps polish adhere to it. I have been learning how to do my own ombre nails and nail stamping. It can be a long process to apply the many different layers to achieve the look I want, and it is very frustrating to go through all that work only to smear the polish on a nail and have to start over. Enter Sally Insta Dri Top Coat. This awesome little gem is a nice consistency and goes on nicely – it's not too thin, yet doesn't gloop everywhere either. It leaves a nice shiny, clear color, and speeds the drying process. It also does not soak through the nail stamping sealer coat, so it doesn't smear the stamped designs. I have tried some expensive top coats that permeate through the layers of polish and ruin the nail stamping designs. The best part, this top coat protects my manicure! I wash dishes, cook, do laundry, type on a computer, shuffle papers around, and this top coat protects through it all! As any nail professional will tell you, you must touch up your manicure with a good top coat every few days if you want to prolong the life of your manicure. This Sally Insta Dri Top Coat is perfect for that, too. I received Essie Smooth-E basecoat as a #freeproduct to try for my honest review from #topboxcircle #trytopbox. I had never heard of this basecoat so I was intrigued as it stated it was a ridge filler and would give my nails a smooth finish to apply polish. I use a lot of dark colours especially blue that has a tendency to stain my nails. I did find that with the initial application it gave my nails a matte finish with an almost grippy feel and then I applied my Essie polish in a nice deep blue. It did dry quickly before I applied the polish. I have had the blue nail polish on for a few days and did find my nails chipped almost the next day so that was a little disappointing. I absolutely love the entire Essie line, they always have high quality products. It’s my go to for my mani/pedis. The only issues I’ve come across is that my nail polish never lasted a week. It would constantly chip off, but since trying out this base coat that Essie brilliantly thought of, I no longer have that issue. Initially I was a bit skeptical about this product claiming to smooth the ridges in my nails. I recently had acrylic nails taken off and the removal process wrecked havoc on my nails. The surface of my nails were uneven and they were peeling. When I applied the base coat, I noticed that it filled in the weak spots in my nails. When I applied the nail polish on top, my nails felt so smooth. You would not be able to tell that my nails were damaged. It was about $10 a bottle at CVS, so it’s comparable to Essie and OPI. I have to say, I really love this polish! I’ve had it on for 5 days now and it’s only starting to chip a little at my tips! It took 3 layers to apply a smooth and finished look. I will say it dried fast and I was rather surprised by that for liquid or polish. I however was not a fan of this color. It really just didn’t look good with my skin tone. Maybe in the summer when I’m tan? But it’s a no for me right now. The actual polish itself held up as to be expected for any nail polish. 2-3 days before I had noticeable chipping. Smell was still the same as typical polish smell, I’m not sure if I thought it would be different because it’s Vegan? All around the polish isn’t terrible. I received the shades 345 Smokey Quartz and 410 Black Stone which are beautiful colors. The purple is light but has a grayish tint to it and shines really pretty and the black is a deep black and gives off a beautiful shine. The polish itself gives off a great color and smooth look but with one coat is just too thin, I did at least two coats to create a good layer and look. This polish is a very runny formula in my opinion so took some patience not to make a mess with it and drying time isn’t too long but the the turn out is pretty good and last a good few days before it starts to chip off. I overall think it’s a great polish and love that it’s vegan. I did receive the new vegan formulas but is giving me a list of the old ones so my shades aren’t there to put in my review.brittany .h

Before the COVID situation I would get a gel manicure every two weeks. And now, I do not see myself going back to the nail salon. This mega formula lasts! My nails stay unchipped for 6 days straight! And when they started chipping it was only at the very tip of the nail! I typically only ever need two coats and I dont use a clear top coat. The colors are so pretty! The brush is super skinny I was worried at first, but it's super good, coverge and application is easy! I take off with regular acetone and comes right off – not sure about the glitter ones because I dont have any glitter colors yet, but I imagine it would take a little more effort to remove as with all glitter polishes. I would definitely recommend this nail product if you also struggle with brittle nails prone to breakage. I use the clear as a base coat (although I wouldn’t wear it alone because it can look a little yellow, which seems to be common with clear coats, but figured I would mention it) and I do notice a difference – almost if my nails feel as if they’ve been more fortified. I would be curious to see if using one of the Mega Strength hardener pigmented shades on top of the clear coat would amplify its effect. I always struggle with painting my own nails in the first place, and I'm always looking for a top coat to make my nails look shiny and smooth like a gel polish but also dries fast. This top coat does just that. Sometimes I even use it alone to give my nails a nice shine. It doesn't stay tacky for very long and covers/smooths out any small imperfections in my base coat of color. The brush is big and wide which allows the whole nail to be covered in two swipes. It makes my nails feel very striong as well. Very nice polish! My only complaint is that the top coat peels off easily, especially around the cuticles. It doesn't take much to get a chip in it which also takes the underneath color off as well. It works well if you're the type to change the color of your nails every week but I like to get as long as possible out of my polishes so it is kind of frustrating. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this nail hardener. It keeps my nails super protected – they're prone to break and they haven't broken since I started using it. It adds a shine that makes my nails look like gel nails, which I love because gel manicures just destroy my nails. However, the shine is not very long lasting but I usually apply a coat whenever my polish is looking dull and it dries in 1 minute, which is so much more time-conscious than going to a salon to get a high-shine finish or just redoing my nails entirely. I do like the way this looks on my nails. It looks thicker on the nail than other top coats. However, you have to be like Goldilocks with application and use an amount that’s just right. If you use too much- your nails will never dry! Or you’ll think they are dry and then end up with a “dent” in one of them the next day. You must follow the instructions! I absolutely love OPI polishes especially the brush they come with. But I have to say it, this product IS TERRIBLE! I rarely write negative reviews, but this one gets an exception. It never fully sets, so it smudges and I wake up with sheet marks. I have given this topcoat 5 different tries, thinking it must've been user error. The last time I tried it was an experiment to make sure it's the topcoat and not my polish. One hand was painted with 3 coats of polish with no topcoat, the other hand was 2 coats polish, one very thin coat of topcoat. Both sides used the OPI drying drops, then I sat still without touching anything for 4 hours before bed. I woke up the next morning to find the no topcoat side perfect, the topcoat side was smudged on every finger. It's unequivocally this topcoat. I'm disappointed and surprised that OPI would make and distribute such a sub-par product. Probably going to switch to a gel topcoat from here.aleksandra.s

My nails have been so strong since I started using this regularly. I change my manicure about once a week and I apply the Nail Tek Moisturizing Strengthener underneath every other manicure because too much protein can cause nails to harden and therefore snap off when hitting something instead of bending like a healthy nail does.sandra.l

The whites of my nail tips started growing back within 48 hours! I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! I was sick of the colours you would get from OPI or the drugstore that just felt a bit too childish – I love pink and purple but I don’t need my nails to look like a kids bedroom wall. This nail polish is what I’ve been looking for! Subtle and creamy this just looks expensive on and is definitely for that ballerina off duty aesthetic everyone’s into atm. I usually redo my nails weekly – this nail polish last for that time. It does chip after that but I don’t use a base or top coat. I am on the search for the best nail strengthener after a medical procedure made my nails and hair super brittle. I honestly hate doing my nails at home, but if it’s low maintenance and will help my nails, okay fine. This is the third Sally Hansen strengthener I’ve tried, and I’d say jury is still out on which one ultimately is the best, but the diamond strength is nice! With the exception of my pinky finger, as you can see in my photo, you can barely tell where the ANC ends and my natural nail starts. Which is a huge bonus. I also appreciate that there’s a bit of shine to this, since I’m using it alone, but could also be used as a base coat. This also dried very quickly, which is important as I’m busy and use my hands a lot. No smudges!! As far as strength—well, I haven’t chipped my nails since my application last night, but my nails are quite short. And I try to use my nails gingerly anyway. But it does feel like they won’t immediately break if I were to pry some LEGO pieces apart right now lol!danielle.k
I wore acrylics for about 3 years straight. Maybe more. I finally had decided it was time to take them off, and man were my nails WEAK!! I decided to try this out. It helped my nails so much! The started growing out healthier and stronger and eventually stopped ripping! I wish I had taken progress pictures! I use it as a base under colored nail polish to give it that extra layer of protection now. And when I want a natural look, it gives my nails a pretty shine!janelle.s
I've have tried Sally Henson's Diamond Strength polish. It is a clear polish that has the typical strong chemical smell. It worked well for about a 3 to 4 days on my nails before I noticed it chipping and peeling. Nevertheless, I did notice a break down in the polish before the end of the 7 days. This could have happened because of improper cleaning of my nails the application. The shine of the nail had a lack of luster after drying as well, it would scuff easily. It was a result of the on the job duties that I performed at the time. But, the shine was easy to scuff. However, I did still notice a break down in the polish before 7 days. This isn't a professional gel polish so it will not have that shine that you might be looking for. And it will not sustain that fresh look for a long period of time but for an non professional, over the counter item it will help support your weak nail for a small period of time. So I rated this item with 3 stars. It's not a stellar product in my opinion but I have definitely had a lot worse. So I gave it an average rating, because of the temporary support it gives to your nail but would but advise that results may vary.rita.w

It's a temporary folution. My nails are thin as paper, they don't chip they tear, so I bought this to help. It was very reasonably priced, about $3. The directions say to apply 2-3 coats, but I find that only a day or so after it starts to peel off. When it peels off it messes up my nails big time and they end up thinner than before. I think I'll use up what I have and then see if there's a better nail strengthener out there. It definitely made my nails harder but not as hard or strong as I would have liked. The glossy finish is nice at times, but sometimes I wish it were matte so it wouldn't be noticable.sophi.j
Anything to do with nails and SALLY HANSEN is the name that comes to mind!! And HARD AS NAILS is one of there oldest products. I used to watch my mum putting this religiously on her nails, and now I do the same thing, whenever I don't have acrylics on. It definitely works, to grow healthier,stronger nails. If you've never really tried growing your nails before, and need to give them a little boost, give this a try, in no time you'll have nice looking nails. It also has a really nice smell. I am obsessed with this product! I am not a huge fan of wearing nail polish, but I love keeping my nails strong and healthy looking – this does the trick! I apply 2 coats weekly and it leaves my nails looking shiny and they haven't broken or snagged since I started using the Strengthener! Before I put this on my nails, I put it in the fridge for about 5 minutes and then I will put 2 coats on weekly (as I stated Previously). Duri products are amazing! I’ve worn acrylics since 1981 with only brief periods without to rest my nail beds. It got to the point, however, that my natural nails were so soft that acrylic would no longer adhere. Then I discovered Rejuvacoat 1 and 2. In less than three weeks, my natural nails have never been so strong or long. I also purchased several polishes and have been pleased with them as well. The polish goes on easily and doesn’t chip. I had acrylic nails for over 20 years and when the pandemic hit last year, I removed the acrylic nails. Have been trying to get my nails back in better shape. They are thin and brittle and one has been splitting down the entire length of the nail for nearly one year. The dryness of the nails cause breakage with just a little bump to them. Saw this and thought I would try it. I have only applied it for 2 days and so far, it makes my nails feel stronger and I haven't seen any breakage or splitting since the 1st application.
