I don't know how people would stamp without this! It has never smudged any of my stamping. Try it without. Lol. You'll want to cry when your crisp stamps turn into a messy blur with one tiny swipe. The formula is exactly as described: thinner and not made to be a shiny, smooth shell. It's a top coat that seals your hard work and does it's job perfectly! The only issue I had was adding a thicker top coat over it, but that was my fault. I chose my regular favorite insta-dry (always my go to with kids and pets in my house), and used it after an hour of the smudge- free drying. Too soon. I didn't factor in that the formula is be more alcohol-heavy and it ate the smudge-free and ruined the stamping. If I let the smudge-free dry overnight, I can top it with zero issue.Katherine E.
Good: didn't smudge! Yay! Negative: tries feeling tacky, when I put a traditional topcoat on top of it, it had a vinyl-like finish that "flexes" rather than a glassy finish, and feels thick and dents and nicks. My manicure looks great is lasting for now but I'm worried it will start peeling soon. I didn't like them at all at first. My daughter actually figured out how to do it. When I did get the gist, I noticed the mess and stress it causes me. I like the idea, if the process actually worked and looked like the stamps, then it was okay. But if the image didn't transfer over, it looked weird. The top coat is rough if it isn't put on correctly and then didn't last much more than a few days before it began to wear away. I wouldn't recommend them if you don't have patience and don't mind everything being covered in polish and like strange looking almost stars on your nails for all to see. I have enjoyed fiddling with nail polish since I was a little girl and remember wearing nail polish daily in high school. I am actually very excited about this nail polish since I learned it is free from 21 harmful chemicals. free from animal derived ingredients and made in the USA! Finally a non-toxic nail product I can feel good about. Eternal EtVoil is a classic collection that comes with 3 shades of pale pinks (French Kiss – French – French Chiffon), 1 opaque bright white (Blanco Tiza) and 1 clear. Beautiful colors to wear alone or to create the perfect french manicure. Application was a breeze. I first applied an Eternal Nourishing Base Coat (important in protecting your nails from staining and I believe makes your polish hold up better) followed by one coat of French Kiss and one coat of clear as a top coat. Polish glides on smoothly, had good coverage after one coat (two if you want a more opaque finish), did not streak, and dried quickly. It does an amazing job at keeping the colors beneath it intact and protected. The colors all dry incredibly quick, which is perfect for at-home manicures. I decided to try out French tips for the first time and was not disappointed. I did the white tips freehand and they took me a couple of tries to nail down. It would be awesome if this kit had a little nail guide so that you could easily trace the white tips. My only complaint is that some of the bottle tops had a little grime on them, like they had been used. It was as if it were a dark-grey polish that accidentally got on it while in the warehouse (there was literally a little fingerprint that was on one of the tops). There was also a little bit of white nail polish that was on the outside of the Blanco Tiza bottle too. I also wish there was a little guide that showed you which colors were which (I didn't see any labels on the bottles) and which ones to use on top of each other to achieve the right French tip look. I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was sick of the colours you would get from OPI or the drugstore that just felt a bit too childish – I love pink and purple but I don’t need my nails to look like a kids bedroom wall. I am not one to leave a review. I am a long time nail salon junkie and finally decided to "do my own" . I have done the dip and gel polish at home for a few years now and hate the time consumption of the dip and gel keep up. So I have decided to try another route again. I am now relishing in my natural nail beauty and have found this product to be a life saver! I start with an OPI Nail Envy nail strengthener, and then any polish of my choice, I currently am using OPI brand. I then seal with Big Dry top coat from Sally Hansen. This dries really fast. I then use the SALLY HANSEN MIRACLE GEL TOP COAT, it dries in about 5 minutes, and then I add one more coat of the Big Dry top coat.. and PERFECT AND LONG LASTING RESULTS! All I can say is I think it dries faster if you use the big dry top coat prior to just putting it directly onto the polish. This is probably one of my favourite nail polishes. I love the shade of green and the non-goopy application of it. It’s also lasted longer than any of the other expensive polish brands I own (all the ones that promise no chips for two weeks and then they chip next day no matter how careful you are). I’ve gotten a bit less than a week’s wear out of it, but even now it’s only a couple chips on a few fingers, which is to be expected because I’m a mom of young kids, so I am constantly doing something with my hands and washing them. I see other reviewers mentioning how sheer applications are, which is true, but it just means you need a couple extra coats, which honestly isn’t a big deal; I find that most polishes, no matter how much coverage they give you, need additional coats anyways. When I use this polish along with the Miracle Gel top coat, I get a solid week out of the nails before I get any chipping. Usually I only have to repaint them when the nails are growing out too much. Dries quickly, so apply quickly and carefully. This is a great middle ground between regular polish and real gel, meaning it is great for home use. You can get thick coverege that hides your ridges without needing to buff your nails if you do 2 color and 1 top coat. I absolutely hate waiting for polish to dry. We all got stuff ta to you know? What's worse is waking up realizing that you've somehow smeared your polish that should have dried hours ago in your sleep. Can anyone relate? Well that was not happen with this polish. It dries so quickly that unless you're just not paying attention you can't mess it up. It goes on well too, as well as any polish I've tried and I don't buy the cheap stuff. Here's the cons. It chips easily if you do not wear gloves when doing work around the house or if you have to wash your hands a lot. It's also hard to remove. I scrub and scrub and the three kinds I have with shimmer in them, the glitter wants to hang on no matter what. Then there's the health of my nails. I'm pretty sure that this polish has made my nails peel at the tips so it's probably drying my nails. Ok so if you need a quick manicure this is the polish for you. If you hate waiting or just don't have time to wait this is the polish for you. This is some of the best nail polish I've tried, and I do home manis every week. The colors are on point, more unique than other brands which is one thing I love about this brand. This formula dries smooth and clear, and lasts. I wash my hands a lot and polish only lasts 2-3 days before I need a touch up, but it's easy to touch up and color blends smoothly. Best of all, it does dry quickly which is a huge selling point for me because I tend to paint my nails before bed while winding down and watching TV, and never seem to leave enough time for them to dry before I'm ready for bed! I received Essie Smooth-E basecoat as a #freeproduct to try for my honest review from #topboxcircle #trytopbox. I had never heard of this basecoat so I was intrigued as it stated it was a ridge filler and would give my nails a smooth finish to apply polish. I use a lot of dark colours especially blue that has a tendency to stain my nails. I did find that with the initial application it gave my nails a matte finish with an almost grippy feel and then I applied my Essie polish in a nice deep blue. It did dry quickly before I applied the polish. I have had the blue nail polish on for a few days and did find my nails chipped almost the next day so that was a little disappointing. The finish was nice and clean looking like a mani should be. I am not overly impressed though. I feel that there are better products on the market.CeeZee39
I absolutely love the entire Essie line, they always have high quality products. It’s my go to for my mani/pedis. The only issues I’ve come across is that my nail polish never lasted a week. It would constantly chip off, but since trying out this base coat that Essie brilliantly thought of, I no longer have that issue. Since using this, now my nail polish says on for a week before it starts to chip. I’m extremely pleased and happy with this product. It provides you with the best quality manicures and pedicures. Initially I was a bit skeptical about this product claiming to smooth the ridges in my nails. I recently had acrylic nails taken off and the removal process wrecked havoc on my nails. The surface of my nails were uneven and they were peeling. When I applied the base coat, I noticed that it filled in the weak spots in my nails. When I applied the nail polish on top, my nails felt so smooth. You would not be able to tell that my nails were damaged. I run my fingers on the nail surface and it’s like the ridges and dips in my finger nails disappeared. My nails feel so much better after my mini manicure.van52

I have enjoyed fiddling with nail polish since I was a little girl and remember wearing nail polish daily in high school. Nowadays, I only wear nail polish occasionally because it tends to chip while I do housework. I go the Eternal nail polish set of four bottles in nude and rose gold colors. The colors are really feminine. The best part is that the Eternal nail polish is free from twenty-one chemicals that are often found in other nail polishes. I just recently found out that over time, if you wear nail polish all the time, these chemicals can seep into your nail bed. Moreover, the nail polish is vegan, so no animal products in it. And, it is made in the United States. When I first applied it, the polish glided on smoothly and was very shiny. It dried evenly and quickly. The shine was impressive. I put a clear top coat on. To my surprise, today is day 3 and the polish has not chipped at the tips despite my doing housework. There were several times I scrapped it against Velcro by accident and it didn’t chip either. I am actually very excited about this nail polish since I learned it is free from 21 harmful chemicals. free from animal derived ingredients and made in the USA! Finally a non-toxic nail product I can feel good about. Eternal EtVoil is a classic collection that comes with 3 shades of pale pinks (French Kiss – French – French Chiffon), 1 opaque bright white (Blanco Tiza) and 1 clear. Beautiful colors to wear alone or to create the perfect french manicure. Application was a breeze. I first applied an Eternal Nourishing Base Coat (important in protecting your nails from staining and I believe makes your polish hold up better) followed by one coat of French Kiss and one coat of clear as a top coat. Polish glides on smoothly, had good coverage after one coat (two if you want a more opaque finish), did not streak, and dried quickly. Even though this polish is free from harmful chemicals, it does have the usual polish smell as can be expected. After a week of wear and a refresh top coat, polish is virtually chip free. The Eternal 5 Nail Polish Collection "Et Voila!" is a gorgeous 5 piece set that contains: Clear Crystal (top coat), Blanco Tiza (sparkling white), French (a light sandy color), French Kiss (a light pink), and French Chiffon (a pale skin-color). Each bottle has 0.46 ounces of nail polish in them and the caps are easy to screw off. I'm really impressed with how easy to apply these polishes are – no bubbling! I love that all of these colors are made in the USA, non-toxic, and that they are free from 21 harmful chemicals. The clear topcoat is one of the best that I have ever used. It does an amazing job at keeping the colors beneath it intact and protected. The colors all dry incredibly quick, which is perfect for at-home manicures. I decided to try out French tips for the first time and was not disappointed. I did the white tips freehand and they took me a couple of tries to nail down. It would be awesome if this kit had a little nail guide so that you could easily trace the white tips. My only complaint is that some of the bottle tops had a little grime on them, like they had been used. It was as if it were a dark-grey polish that accidentally got on it while in the warehouse (there was literally a little fingerprint that was on one of the tops). There was also a little bit of white nail polish that was on the outside of the Blanco Tiza bottle too. I also wish there was a little guide that showed you which colors were which (I didn't see any labels on the bottles) and which ones to use on top of each other to achieve the right French tip look. The nail polish is nice. applies easily and dries a bit faster than other brands. during the first few hours it'll get scratches or texture until it's 100% set. (it was completely dry when I went to sleep, passed the fingerprint test, but had random scratches the next morning). after it dried it became seemingly indestructible. I work in a warehouse, I use tools and have my hands in machines all day and it didn't chip at all. (I used 3 coats) however i had another shade that chipped and budged just from washing dishes and playing with a one year old. in any other case I'd say its way too expensive to risk getting a shade that has a 50/50 chance of chipping easily, but target has a good return policyM
I purchased both the 'bolt and be bold' and 'dial it up' 2 weeks ago. Finally had time to paint my toe nails and I'm pretty disappointed in the quality. First, both brushes are put on unevenly, and it either collects too much polish or not enough. The first swipe and it was all over the place. I'm not a professional nail artist, but I'm not a newbie. It looks like a small child slapped it on. The uneven brush makes it impossible to control. To spend $20 on nail polish is a luxury, and I expected way better quality. I’m reviewing this year’s 2021 summer collection and it’s pretty fantastic!!! They have some really on point colors- like a basic, vibrant blue, orange and green. Im not super wild about the yellow; it is a bit muted compared to the other colors. The pink has a pearlescence which isn’t what I prefer but it’s nonetheless beautiful. MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE IS “GET YOUR GROOVE ON”!!! It has the most unbelievably gorgeous gold shimmer. It is opaque and slightly more on the yellow side. I looks so rad again my melanin-blessed skin!! This was my first purchase from ORLY and I am IN LOVE. Love the formula, love the brush. At first I felt the brush didn't pick up product as it should, but the shape of the brush is the BEST I've used. I always struggle to cover the side edges of my nails with polish, but this brush is designed perfectly for that. It very easily spread over my nail and down to the edge WITHOUT straying onto my skin. As for coverage, the first coat didn't dry so quickly that I couldn't go back and fully cover the nail. I therefore only needed 2 coats for an even, solid polish. Will be purchasing more colors from them. Highly recommend!!!Alexa
Exactly what I wanted in a red! Bright and showy, yet elegant and gorgeous! Perfect for manis and pedis. Fun for going to the local festival on Saturday afternoon as well as sophisticated for dancing at an evening soiree. I have been searching for a true red that was not orange-y or too burgundy and this is the shade I wanted. I like the Breathable line. They seem to endure longer than most other polishes and make my somewhat soft nails stronger. FYI: I was NOT compensated for this review. I ordered online and the shipment was delayed by the carrier(s), but once I contacted Orly, their customer service followed up and shipment was expedited from where it had stalled. Problem resolved. All but one bottle I ordered was sealed. It so happened that the one without a seal was this Star Spangled. As the title says, this is such a fun topper! It reminds me a bit of a carnival with funnel cake and ring toss games haha. It's bright and colorful and is fairly easy to apply in terms of getting a perfect amount of all the different glitter pieces on your nail. I did dab once or twice with the brush after brushing it on to try to place a couple of the larger bits a little more strategically, and it worked like a charm. I'm attaching a photo with it Turn It Up over two coats of Here Comes the Sun. If you see micro bubbles in the clear portion of the polish, please ignore! That was due to the top coat I used (and have since stopped using lol) and not Turn It Up.AJ S.

This is the perfect starter kit for all you nail base needs. I love love love the Barely There polishes as does my mother-in-law. It is a great polish when you want a natural or minimal color. I've stamped over this color and the design pops with the right stamp color (black, white, orange, etc). The Sticky Base Coat is a wonderful polish to help you design something without rushing. It like brings your design back to life so you stamp it on your nail later. Of course you have to have both black and white polish in your kit. These colors are essential for stamping. I only wish this kit had quick dry top coat.
This is the perfect beginner's set for stamping. Rather than guess and buy supplies that may or may not work, the lovely people at Maniology have put it all together for us. The polishes are not too runny, not too thick, but just right for any nail artist beginner to advanced. Also, having tried regular top coat after applying stamps, take it from me, the Smudge Free Top Coat is a must!Yvonne
The black and white stamping polishes are great, you can 'make do' with not stamping specific polishes, but these will not let you down. The No Smudge top coat is also fabulous at not smudging your new mani, BUT I would strongly suggest using another top coat on top of THAT top coat. I haven't had a manicure chip that fast in a long time as when I only used the No Smudge. It was quite disappointing as I was going away from home and didn't think I'd need to redo my nails in 2 daysMiranda N.
