There was not anything I did not like about this product. It covered nicely without being chalky or thick. It was quite effective in covering ridges in my nail. It stayed on for a good amount of time and I could give my nails multiple coats without becoming gummy or sticky. The price point was a little higher but the product was worth the extra bucks.jaye.r
A little pricey but honestly so good. As soon as I dipped the brush I knew it was going to be good. It went on so smooth and so perfectly neat. I have the most unbelievably weak nails and am so vitamin deficient that my nails never grow well. Base coat and top coat are very particular things. There definitely seems to be chemistry involved, that is, your chemistry and how it works with the product. Just as some colours will look good on you and others won't, base coats can be really tricky. This ridge filler (let's face it, it's also a base coat) and I don't have great chemistry. It's kind of okay, but it's mostly just meh. It doesn't seem to help the ridges especially (my ridges are not terribly pronounced), and it tends to be quite sticky, even after it supposedly dries. I also find that it makes the polish take longer to dry, even when using quick-dry drops or quick-dry top coat. I'm sure this works great for some people, but for me, not so much, sadly. Run, don't walk. This product is a whole grail. I have a terrible habit of biting nails as a stress coping mechanism and this grew back my damaged nails. I was hoping to be able to wear this straight or with a top coat but is very gloopy and doesn’t go on very smoothly. It does dry quickly but that increases the gloppy quality where it gets thickened while you are applying and leaves a chunky mess on the top and brush. That being said, it grips well. While I wouldn’t wear it out, it’s excellent for applying before a bath to protect my nails from water. Two coats a half hour or so before my bath and it doesn’t peel off. I had used this about 20 years ago when I was using tips on & off. Then I totally went natural and short. So once my nails grew out I had no need for it. About a year ago I noticed I started to get ridges. Just kinda random I thought, nope, another side effect of menopause. Anyway, while I still do a LIGHT buffing I am back to using this. I do think the old formula was better but all in all it def helps especially once polish is applied. Also this formula now has a pink tint, prior it was almost clear. I was given this polish to restore my nails after having a gel manicure for years. I stopped for covid19, as I couldn’t justify the salon trips with a high health risk person in my household. Sadly, I was forced to let my beautifully appointed gel nail manicure grow out and disappear. Of course what I was left with was entirely awful destroyed nails. Love this awesomeness. I’m getting really good (second time using it) getting the hang of doing my apex and getting everything all salon pretty. Until I’m used to the viscosity though I just use tips under it for ease. Totally addicted to this stuff and it’s my first builder gel, only way I’d be getting a different brand was if they didn’t make or have this anymore, it comes with a little book of technique lessons too if your not already in the know either professionally or via tutorials or education- I will say though that I’d have really apriciated some mini samples of oil or something else etc but I mostly buy korean beauty products and they slather you in free samples so I’m used to being spoiled ?. I bought this as a nail strengther and I’m not disappointed. I’m not a professional nail tech, but I am a bit of a perfectionist. The booklet that comes with the product is very informative and super easy to follow. The brush is a perfect size and cleans easily after use, with a little bit of acetone nail varnish remover. I found thin layers and curing in between each worked best. Also holding my hand upside down (nails facing downwards) for 10 secs before curing, helped get it away from the sides of the nails and skin, as well as making it even out. This will easily last me months if I just use it for strengthening, there’s more in the pot than you think. For me it is worth the higher price.Margarete
First of all, I am a beginner and doing nails at home. O have very weak and fragile nails. I have never managed to grow them long and last for ever. Then a gel nail polish came to do the trick. Not quite as the nails steel chipped. I needs a product which makes them hard and strong. I went through reviews and chose something performing badly. This product is exactly what I needed. It makes the nails thick, it makes cracked edges unified and also managed to extend when needed. It is not easy to achieve an even surface but I guess it is cos of my skills. My goodness, what this has done for my nails is unreal! As soon as we went in “lockdown” mode, I needed my Dip mani ASAP. I bought the @home kit by Kiss and it lasted about a week…if you’ve done dip for a while you know that when you stop, your bare nails are LONGGGGGGG but brittle…at least mine were paper thin and literally broke anytime I passed my fingers through my hair. 😩😩 I had bought this nail repair polish a while ago and decided that now was the best time to try it. I have been applying it every other day, consistently over 6-7 weeks and my nails are STRONG, and much longer than when I clipped my nails. This is certainly a handy all-in-one product that can be used as a base coat, top coat, fill-in, and nail protectant. I typically do gel or dip on my nails because they are very brittle and prone to flaking. I apply this product over my 1+ week old dip nails to give them extra shine. This product has a lovely, moisturizing gel-like texture that gives a wonderful shine. However, because it has a thicker, more moisturizing consistency, it takes a very long time to dry so would probably not be ideal as a top coat for regular nail polish. If you don’t touch it at all, the finish is beautiful, but even if you accidentally touch it hours later before it has fully dried, the finish can become texturized and dull. I think this is best used as a nail protectant over natural nails or over acrylic/dip/gel. It is super easy to apply with a generous large brush and (relatively) minimal nail polish odor. I would recommend this product on polish-breaks between manicures. It is also a great all-purpose travel polish. This treatment was super beneficial for my natural nails. I had just removed my acrylic nails at home with a regular nail file and some acetone, so my nails were weak, dry, and a little brittle. After washing my hands after all the abrasive removal, I put on two layers of this treatment and then some cuticle oil after it dried. Not only are my nails shiny and healthy-looking, they also feel a lot stronger than before. My nails have always been a little weaker and textured, but I genuinely would not be able to see that with this treatment on. My nails are also significantly smoother than they were with all the filing I did. I also found the smell to be quite pleasant compared to normal nail polish and acetone, but maybe that was because I applied it after smelling acetone fumes for a couple hours. While I love it as a treatment, I cannot vouch for it as a base coat nor a top coat, This could be a good “primer” for a base coat, but it doesn’t seem sticky enough to be a good base coat that helps polish adhere to it. I also don’t think the texture is quite smooth or even enough to be a top coat which is meant to seal and even everything.grace.c
I have been learning how to do my own ombre nails and nail stamping. It can be a long process to apply the many different layers to achieve the look I want, and it is very frustrating to go through all that work only to smear the polish on a nail and have to start over. Enter Sally Insta Dri Top Coat. This awesome little gem is a nice consistency and goes on nicely – it's not too thin, yet doesn't gloop everywhere either. It leaves a nice shiny, clear color, and speeds the drying process. It also does not soak through the nail stamping sealer coat, so it doesn't smear the stamped designs. I have tried some expensive top coats that permeate through the layers of polish and ruin the nail stamping designs. The best part, this top coat protects my manicure! I wash dishes, cook, do laundry, type on a computer, shuffle papers around, and this top coat protects through it all! As any nail professional will tell you, you must touch up your manicure with a good top coat every few days if you want to prolong the life of your manicure. This Sally Insta Dri Top Coat is perfect for that, too. I just apply a quick top coat every other day before I leave for work in the morning and it is completely set by the time I arrive at the office. Perfect! I just used this for the first time a few days ago. Wow! I had a nail that was broken so far down and almost all the way across. I wouldn’t have been able to cut it back without lots of pain and blood. I followed the instructions for using this product, and it couldn’t have been easier. Two coats, light buffing, and now you could not tell after polish that there was ever a break. This stuff works great, I was using it for a year before covid and quarantine hit, when like a lot of ladies, I started attempting "dip nails" at home. Then I realized that it's kind of like dipped nails. So, now I pretty much "dip nail" to repair my permanantly broken nail. Now, back to the Orly nail rescue kit. It does work great, however, you will run out of glue (or it will just get hard and not be able to be opened) before you run out nail repair powder. I want this as an ongoing use for my permanently broken nail. The little nail file that's included is not really needed since we all have nail files at home, and once you use this teeny-tiny nail file, then meh. I've tried using Kiss nail glue with the Orly nail repair powder, but unfortunately, that does't work. So, we flat out need more Orly brush-on nail glue in this kit. It would be more worth the money if it came with 3 bottles of the glue and one little tub of powder for the $10/$15. I wish I could buy the glue separately to use with my extra powder that i still have left over. I've bought a 2nd kit, for more glue, but am still using the powder from kit 1. Please, Orly, start selling the glue separately, or add more bottles of glue to the kits. ThanksSparkELisa
Let me first say how much I hate my nails! They grow at different rates, they are super weak and the white tips are all different- some go straight across, some are curved, and some are not symmetrical. I'm not a fan of acrylic nails because of how thick they are and I don't like being held to an appt every 2 weeks. This product is so easy to use and works! I like to keep my nails polished because it hides the inconsistencies. I can't believe how strong this made my nails! I was almost going to clip a nail that was about to rip because it was so weak, and that's the day it was delivered! So far, that nail has survived a whole week! I highly recommend this! I also recommend 2 coats. The only thing that might be a con is the amount of glue vs the powder. I'm thinking I will run out of glue way before the powder. I love this product. Initially I went back and forth on purchasing this or a few competitor products, but went in to Ulta and this was available, so I grabbed it based on the reviews and I'm so glad that I did. My hands are nothing special, but my nails have been soft and break off for as long as I can remember. It makes painting them or even getting acrylics done useless because within 48 hours it will be gone entirely. My nails just can't keep anything on them. For several years I've looked high and low, buying products that I hoped would help, but nothing ever made a dent. Until NailTek #2. I can't stop raving about it. Now, based on my photo one might think, "this stuff does nothing," but let me tell you-the last time I had my nails grow out past my fingertips, I was pregnant (taking prenatals), and even then they were splitting. I have used Nail Tek products for about 20 years, as their nail treatment/therapy products have worked wonders for me. My nail used to never grow. I began using Nail Tek, #2 with the cuticle/nail oil when preparing for my wedding in hopes to grow my own nails. They grew, and became stronger than ever before, less brittle and less prone to breakage. I’ve used nearly all of the Nail Tek treatment line and recommended to many! Only downside is you should apply it almost daily, which makes the clear treatment thicker and harder to apply. My nails have been so strong since I started using this regularly. I change my manicure about once a week and I apply the Nail Tek Moisturizing Strengthener underneath every other manicure because too much protein can cause nails to harden and therefore snap off when hitting something instead of bending like a healthy nail does.sandra.l

The whites of my nail tips started growing back within 48 hours! I’ve slaughtered my nails after using press-on nails with nail glue and salon gel manicures, but it was a stupid habit to get into because I have lovely, long, strong, and white-tipped nails naturally. After the damage, they definitely needed a little help being pushed in the right direction, and Nail Tek’s #2 has been a lifesaver! I was a little hesitant to try this because of the price but I’ve been trying to use as clean of product as I can. I am very impressed with this base. I only use clear polish on my nails and this put a nice foundation for me to then put their clear topcoat on. For me it makes my nails extra shiny. I will definitely be purchasing again. The other nice things about it is it does not have a heavy chemical smell to it at all.Mia D
I have used "All About The Base" multiple times (1/4 of the bottle) since I purchased it and I adore how well it smooths out my nails. Fully preps them for the first coat of nail polish, as well as helps the nail polish last so much longer. I always use my base, 1st coat with dry time, 2nd coat with dry time & final diamond strong clear coat. All my nails last just about 2 full weeks before chipping and wear begins to really show. I was never able to get such long wear before I began using the "All About The Base" base coat. I work with my hands daily as a repair worker & painter… so long wear is important & I'm a very happy customer. This stuff is amazing.. This product is amazing. When I switched from conventional polishes to safer brands like Ella+Mila, one of the things I struggled with was my polish chipping really easily. After doing a little searching I found this product and boy, does it work! You simply brush it on, let it dry and proceed with your colored polish. My polish easily stays on for several days with no chipping. This is coming from a busy mom of eight kids. I am very tough on my manicures. This product helps them last. I finally can have pretty nails once again!

My nails were in horrible shape of 8 years of having acrylic on them. When Covid19 hit and I couldn't get them done I realized then just how much damage was done to my nails. I ordered these products plus the makevover concealing ridge filler and the game changed. Within 2 weeks I could see a major difference. The revitalize oil is a disappointment. My nails re stil Peeling and cracking. I thought by now I would see A little improvement. My new nail technician suggested this shade for me. This helped to create the sophisticated well groomed look I wanted. The only thing I would change is that because I have very pale warm ivory skin with yellow to gold undertones, I would like a very similar polish with a warmer more beige tone instead of the admittedly feminine delicate slightly blueish pink that would be a better match for cool undertoned skin. I've been wearing this color for nearly 20 years! I can buy the regular polish at Walmart and it's the correct color. However when I bought the GEL POLISH here, the bottle says "I'm not really a waitress", but it's not the correct color. It looks like a cream, not the metallic-like color it should be. Ever since nail salons shut down in 2020, NONE of them are able to get this color (or so they claim) in a GEL POLISH. Extremely disappointed. Spent $22 having this IMPOSTER shipped to me. Based on the reviews of Rosy Future OPI nail lacquer I was excited and looking forward to receiving my new nail polish. Wow! What a shock it turned out to be. One coat looked good and I should have stopped right there. Thinking it would look even better with two coats I eagerly added a second as it was easy to apply. One coat gave a beautiful sheer iridescent shimmering look. Adding a second coat gave me neon nails that resembled fluorescent lights. I will continue to use the Rosy Future but only one coat. I am disappointed because I think a manicure with two coats of polish lasts longer. But, the look with one coat is acceptable with top coat layers. This polish is not the winner that I expected but at the same time it is not a total loss either. I would recommend the Rosy Future because of its versatility. For those who like a sheer iridescent look it’s a winner. For those who like neon nails it’s also a winner. Enjoy your new nail polish! The pictures show two coats of polish but do not depict how bright the color really is. 8-14-21 UPDATE: The more I use Rosy Future the more I like it. I have been using it for 2 years now.
