It took me weeks to finally get it in the mail, but I really like this product. My nails are badly damaged from gels and acrylics. The pink color is ok but would not be my choice. It does let me see where it has worn off on the edges more easily though. My nails are easily broken and thin to begin with, so damaged they are very fragile. This is the Orly Nailtrition treatment polish and it retails for $15 at Ulta. This is suppose to be a nail strengthener for peeling and splitting nails. The formula is thick, shiny, and pink. I was hoping for something more clear. Not a deal breaker. It makes the nails appear bright and shiny. I recently wanted to take a break from getting my nails done and had the acrylic removed. My nails were peeling and thin underneath. I thought I would give this product a try and after a month, I’m really not impressed. It did not make my nails any stronger, nor did it help them grow. I really did not have any expectations of this product when I first started using it but figured it was worth a shot. I had acrylics for over a decade and then had to stop during the pandemic. I loved this product. Tbh I have completely ran out cause I used it almost every other day. A little story here so be warned: For 20 years I have struggled with anxiety, well with that I had a nervous habit of picking at my nails till they were in the quick. I’ll attach a picture along with results. I found this product through my mom (a nail technician) plus vegan pure multivitamin nail hardener (also at Walmart) I started using these products every other day. I have used other products from this brand and have been very disappointed. This one has left me very surprised. I've only used it twice so far, and it seems to work great. Can I say that I've seen growth within 3 days? Honestly, I can't really tell. However, I have noticed a definite change in my nail strength. I work a lot with my hands when I make costumes and clothing, and my nails tend to break, chip and crack. Since I started using this, my nails seem stronger. I only gave this product 4 stars because I haven't been using it for very long, so I can't say if it really lives up to the hype. Not for nail growth, but stops nail peeling/brittle nails. Also great as a top and base coat! Ok so I’ve been trying this for 3 months and I haven’t seen any noticeable difference in nail growth rate. However! I have very brittle nails that break and peel if they get long so I’ve always been on the lookout for something that helps and this works wonders! I keep getting compliments on my nails and how I can actually grow them now. I followed the directions for use as applying 2 coats every 3 days and I haven’t had any problems with peeling or my nails breaking when they get longer. I would suggest also painting underneath the nail tip to strengthen both sides. I would recommend for people with brittle nails, but don’t expect faster nail growth. The first bottle of Barielle I ordered and used was the beginning of a great experience. My nails never looked as good as they did after my first polish. They were so much thicker and I could keep them growing until I wanted to change my regular polishes. Even the color of my assortment of polish colors stayed on so much longer and looked fresher many days more than they had before. After reading about this so-called miracle product for years, I finally decided to purchase it for my problem nails. I am so disappointed in it. It goes on like a nail polish and is very shiny. After about a day, it starts coming off, just like nail polish. When you take it off with nail polish remover, your nails are weaker than ever and in worse condition than before. I even purchased a nail polish remover without acetone so this would not happen. I do not recommend this product to anyone who has nails that crack and peel. I wasted my money.
I have strong nails, but have one that splits vertically so I've used silk wrap with gel nail products to keep from snagging it on everything. I read about this nail product in a catalog sent to my mom. Ordered this – pricy – and the light pink nailpolish. I work hard with my hands and hated the process of removing gel products from my nails and they usually felt rough after it was removed for new polish. However, this product comes off just like any other nail polish. The difference I've noted is that it lasts longer on my nail and doesn't thicken after wearing a bit. Keeps its luster, didn't notice ends roughing up, snagging, or breaking of the ends which even my gel polish didn't stop. My goodness, what this has done for my nails is unreal! As soon as we went in “lockdown” mode, I needed my Dip mani ASAP. When I called, VCS checked with the company and told me they said sheer pink is pink … but I have 2 jars both labeled sheer pink but they are definitely beige. As soon as pandemic hit, my nail salon closed. I let cut down my acrylics and eventually soaked them in Acetone and removed them. My nails were weak, thin, brittle and have horizontal lines and cracks. I bought Rocket Fuel in Hope's that it would help my nails. They were already grown out from the acrylic damage but were just weak, brittle and had these ridges, causing me to have to keep them very short. Used Rocket Nail Fuel for the recommended 8 weeks. No changes in my nails…still weak, brittle and ridged. Besides that about 3/4s through the bottle, the polish became very thick and hard to apply. Also, by the time I was at my third coat my nails had a blue tinge which just looked weird. I wrote customer service and was told that there was no blue tinge…"Hello, am I seeing things?" And that to remedy the thickness of the polish, I should add a few drops of Acetone. Really? I thought the whole concept behind Rocket Fuel was that it had natural, healthy ingredients. Now you want me to put Acetone into the product to thin it out? All in all, if I could give it zero stars I would. I did get a refund though, so that is the upswing. I did go to my dermatologist and he looked at my nails and the remainder of what was in the bottle of Rocket Fuel and said, it seemed I paid over $20 for a product that I could buy at the drugstore for under $5 and that by the smell of the product it smells just like any other nail polish out there and I would do best to go back to using my good old standby odor Black Jamaiican Castor Oil which amazingly cured the fungus under my toenails and does help moisturize my fingernails…and costs a fraction of what Beaute Garde's Rocket Fuel (Can you say $1 at the Dollar Tree?). I was extremely excited when I saw the FB ad in regards to strong nails not breaking. I have very thin, peeling nails and the sides of my thumb's split so I thought this would answer my prayers. I have put three coats on over a week and a half and I had FOUR nails break on me! The cost at $23 and the product not working is totally RIDICULOUS!! My nails were all the same length and they were long and I was so looking forward to this product working and I am extremely disappointed! It made my nails extremely hard but when they started breaking over simply opening the car door that is absolutely ridiculous! I am not using my nails as tools to open packages and I'm very careful because I have thin nails. But when you're opening your car door and your nail breaks it's just ludicrous! I received this product complimentary for testing purposes. I’m really picky when it comes to mascara just because of my small short Asian lash hair. I love this product. Initially I went back and forth on purchasing this or a few competitor products, but went in to Ulta and this was available, so I grabbed it based on the reviews and I'm so glad that I did. I have used Nail Tek products for about 20 years, as their nail treatment/therapy products have worked wonders for me. My nail used to never grow. I began using Nail Tek, #2 with the cuticle/nail oil when preparing for my wedding in hopes to grow my own nails. They grew, and became stronger than ever before, less brittle and less prone to breakage. I’ve used nearly all of the Nail Tek treatment line and recommended to many! Only downside is you should apply it almost daily, which makes the clear treatment thicker and harder to apply. Ive tried a lot of products hoping my nails would stop chipping and breaking. Nothing worked, I even gave in into trying Opi Nail Envy which has formaldehyde, I didnt see any difference on the contrary it made my nails worse. I'm only on week 3 of the process, which is a month long, but so far I've absolutely loved this nail strengthener! I've tried tons of other nail strengtheners, including a $25 one, and this is the best one I've used so far. It doesn't tint the tips of your nails or turn them yellow, and it has a very natural sheen–not too glossy. My nails are stronger than they've ever been. I have only chipped a nail once, and that was at my job during the first week of using this strengthener (I work a pretty hands on, physical job). Since then, I haven't broken or chipped a single nail. I plan on continuing to wear this as a base coat or just naturally on my nails once I'm done with the month. Long ago I gave up on my nails, trying to just handle them short to curtail their peeling and splitting tendencies. Last march I had a shellac mani to be fancy for a wedding and it ruined my already quite pathetic nails. After several months of trying to grow out a vertical split that had resulted I searched for something that would strengthen them enough to at least get back to normal shorties. Well, I saw this product and the reviews and thought i would give it a try. I did follow directions to the letter, which helped and it was at a vacation time for me so I could stay on track. After the first two weeks I had never seen my nails so 'non splitty' , and something in this is definitely fortifying them. After the initial two weeks I went into the 2 week every other day schedule, and I went ahead and purchased the soy remover as well. Pros: much 'cleaner' product line than any I see. Virtually no odor or strong smell, makes application pleasant. Products work better than any I ever used on my mid 50's nails! Cons: none yet, and I just ordered from the Labor day sale. At first, I was very skeptical about this product after trying the Orly nail strengthener and had little to no improvement. But Nail Envy is a completely different story!! This product is an absolute lifesaver. I have never in my life been able to grow my nails out due to how brittle my nails are. My nails use to fray and snag the second they would get a little growth. You MUST use this product every week for at least two months before the magic starts to happen. I’m so happy. I’ve been using the same bottle for 7 months now and I’m only halfway through. I use it every single week and do 2-3 coats as a base to my nail polish. If you use this product weekly and stick with it, I guarantee you will see major improvement. I normally wouldn’t use a product like this, because the ingredients aren’t clean…but nonetheless I’m happy. Overall, it’s well worth the price tag. I have tried several brands of nail strengtheners and I love this OPI Nail Envy Nail Strengthener dry and brittle. I see several comments that say it didn't work for them. Let me say, It does work but you need to use it faithfully. Follow the directions. I apply at least 3 coats and let it dry between coats, then I apply another coat daily (this helps to keep chipping of the polish down) and then I remove all polish and repeat the process about every 3-4 days. The longer your nails grow out past your fingertips the less chipping of the polish there will be and the harder your nails will get as they grow. You must keep polish on them though all the time or they will get soft again.ulyana.s

I bought this nail polish because it is plant base, which is something I have really been trying to look for in my beauty products lately. It was about $10 a bottle at CVS, so it’s comparable to Essie and OPI. I have to say, I really love this polish! I’ve had it on for 5 days now and it’s only starting to chip a little at my tips! I am rough with my hands. I’m really shocked by it! I already bought another color! It took 3 layers to apply a smooth and finished look. I will say it dried fast and I was rather surprised by that for liquid or polish. I however was not a fan of this color. It really just didn’t look good with my skin tone. Maybe in the summer when I’m tan? But it’s a no for me right now. The actual polish itself held up as to be expected for any nail polish. 2-3 days before I had noticeable chipping. Smell was still the same as typical polish smell, I’m not sure if I thought it would be different because it’s Vegan? All around the polish isn’t terrible. I received the shades 345 Smokey Quartz and 410 Black Stone which are beautiful colors. The purple is light but has a grayish tint to it and shines really pretty and the black is a deep black and gives off a beautiful shine. The polish itself gives off a great color and smooth look but with one coat is just too thin, I did at least two coats to create a good layer and look. This polish is a very runny formula in my opinion so took some patience not to make a mess with it and drying time isn’t too long but the the turn out is pretty good and last a good few days before it starts to chip off. I overall think it’s a great polish and love that it’s vegan. I did receive the new vegan formulas but is giving me a list of the old ones so my shades aren’t there to put in my review.brittany .h

Using it for about a week now and so far am very pleased. Can see a noticeable improvement in my nails, even right after the first application – nail surface is smoother and color more even. Overall, nails look healthier and they do feel a bit stronger. Time will tell if it helps me gain length, but I can already see improvement in a couple of damaged nails that tend to repeatedly split in certain places, so that makes me very happy. When I was seven or so years old, I slammed my right thumbnail in a car door. My nail was allowed to heal on its own– which was not great. The nail has a big bump or two, right in the center of the nailbed and has always caught on fabric or provided an irresistible object to mess with or (better word) aggravate. In my later years, I began to try nail stickers, filing and super glue. The stickers and glue, only made the nail more snaggy and the filing made it thinner — no good results. Then … I stumble upon this product after browsing a scientific article about how the combination of the two main ingredients, showed much promise. After two weeks of applying it about 3 times a day, my thumbnail is nearly unrecognizable. I'm guessing these ingredients have moisturized the nail and bed. I'm not sure about why it feels so much smoother, but I am thrilled with the results. The whites of my nail tips started growing back within 48 hours! I’ve slaughtered my nails after using press-on nails with nail glue and salon gel manicures, but it was a stupid habit to get into because I have lovely, long, strong, and white-tipped nails naturally.
