Well i can say I am very disappointed in this purchase. This was my birthday gift from my mom. I was soooooo excited at first because this is my favorite brand of nail lacquer! An it Arrived early thank you for that. But this happiness slow dampened as i opened each box of six. because out of 48 bottles I only loved about 12 and i liked maybe 10 more but as for the 26 other colors that i really didn't care for. Very pretty, but I did not get the colors shown in the picture. I received similar colors, I guess, but I bought it wanting the colors that were shown/advertised. Also, one of the bottles was spilled all over, making it an empty bottle when it was delivered. Then 2 other bottles were old, I'm guessing, because it had the consistency of glue. The bottles were not filled all the way, and they smell really strong. I gave 2 stars because if I would've got fresh, unspilled, new bottles that contained the colors I thought I was purchasing, they have potential.Jennifer

I use a variety of Salley Hansen products, loyally have experienced nothing but good quality. I bought this nail art pen in the hopes that using would make my smile lines for french manicures I wear to work crisp on point. The first few uses were just okay, the color wasn't quite as opaque as I hoped so I had to go over my lines 2 or 3 times. Then the consistency changed, I don't know if it was because it was beginning to dry out but the polish started looking like I was trying to do my nails using white out. I then began to find small particles of dried polish throughout anything I tried to draw. It then completely clumped up wouldn't even come out of the pen at all. This was after maybe 6 or 7 uses. I ended up throwing it away. Maybe just a bad batch? It worked just fine for the 1st 2 or 3 times. I don't think I would repurchase this particular product againjessica.l
This color is really nice. I LOVE IT! If you like sparkles, use this color with INSTA-DRY 258 SHOOTING STAR on top of it. You can use any color of XTREME WEAR and add Bling. How I applied; one generous coat, let dry. Then add 258 SHOOTING STAR on top; 2 generous coats. When using Sparkles/Bling on top, make sure the coats are very generous, let dry between each application. Also if you miss areas for sparkles, you can reapply the glitter where you want it. Don't worry about imperfections because the glitter will dry as if you applied it with brush smoothly. Using these two colors will give you a ROSE GOLD SPARKLE APPEARANCE. The liquid is clear. Apply more coats depending on how much bling you want. Will last 1 week or more depending on how much you wash your hands or using cleaning products without gloves. I LOVE this polish! I bought the Disco Ball color, which is clear with holographic glitter in it. My picture does NOT do it justice at all! The 3 pink fingernails have this polish on them and they are gorgeous! The polish dries pretty quickly. I usually don't like using polish because I always make a mess of it and get smudges, etc. But this is a nice overlay over nail strips that I have. It applies smoothly and easily. I put a gel top coat over it so it has lasted over a week and still looks like it does in the picture. At a little over $2 I think this is a great value to make your mainicures POP! I have not tried to remove it yet, but using those clips that go over your nails with remover on cotton pads and leaving it on for about 5 minutes or so, should easily remove it, even though it's glitter.JustRambling

I used good nail prep, a base coat, two coats of pure, and a top coat. I have been adding a top coat daily to try to get longer wear. I am on day 5 without any chips. My tips on my dominant hand are worn off but otherwise it is in great shape. It barely shows. It makes my nails look clean versus having a noticeable color. When I compared my painted and unpainted hand it was definitely noticeable.Me42
This nail polish is good when it's brand new but after having it even for a month or two, the quality is horrible. It's clumpy and impossible to apply smoothly. I don't think it's worth the money if you have to use it all right away. I don't have this same issue with other "17 free" polishes so I don't think it has anything to do with how it's stored. I bought this because I’m pregnant and trying to avoid all of the harmful chemicals I can. This polish is free from the 17 harmful chemicals found in all other types of polish, so I wasn’t expecting it to work very well. However, this might be the best nail polish I’ve ever used! It glides on perfectly, I only needed one coat, it dries fairly quickly and I didn’t notice a single chip until about a week later. I removed acrylics that I had for years during COVID and I have finally got my nails to grow out and I decided I didn't want to go back to acrylics. I ordered one color and the top coat of this brand. I've tried a lot of products and this polish really does work and does not chip for at least 6-7 days and more. I am now getting rid of all of my polish and replacing with this. For the people that say it streaks, the first coat can be a little streaky but the second coat goes on smooth and self levels it's self and the top coat is great. Remember to seal the edge of your nails with the top coat. I do use KUR ridge filler as the base coat though. It's a great smoothing base for your polish and I have also been using Solar Oil on my cuticles and on my entire nail on polish off days. These products have given me the best nails I've had in years. I'll never get acrylics or gels again. Highly recommend.PDRN
Lose the Tude is my favorite color for my fingernails and my 2nd favorite color for my toenails (Pacific's Mermaid Tail is my #1 favorite toenail color). It's a GORGEOUS cross between a coral and watermelon with beautiful golden sparkles. I apply several coats and top it with Deborah Lippmann's Addicted to Speed clear top coat. It's such a fun color and makes me happy (well as much as a nail color can). It has excellent staying power, too. It lasts on my fingers about 2 weeks, and it totally stays on my toes. I used this nail polish for the first time three days ago and I couldn't be happier with the result! For years I have had acrylic nails and have recently stopped because I don't have time to go and get them done with my new baby, so I decided to invest in some new nail polish and boy am I glad I did! I used the JINsoon Power Coat Strengthening Base Coat, followed by 2 coats of the Essie Light Lilac, then the JINsoon Top Gloss Quick Dry Top Coat, and finished off with the Essie Quick-e Drying Drops Nail Polish Treatment and my nail look AMAZING! They actually look like I've got shellac on. And what's even more amazing, they dried SUPER fast! It took me maybe 10-15 minutes to do the application, and then I let dry for maybe 20-30 minutes and they were completely set. I was able to get dinner ready and do the dishes straight away with no denting or smudging! This is a game changer! I'm now on day three and they still look as good as day 1! When it comes to nail polish, I tend to be quite skeptical especially since gel is a go-to. However, I was pleasantly surprised with this Essie polish due to its color, application and wear. In terms of color, this shade looks great with one coat or multiple depending on the look youre going for. And since it has a nice shimmer to it, it doesnt show imperfections or chips either. I love natural colors, so this one was an A+ for me. Because you can really build up the opacity of this polish, this made applying it really easy with three main swipes across the nail. And due to the shimmer, its really forgiving even if you do make a mistake. The brush was also quite flat and wide, which helped with the application process. (Drying time was quite short especially if you do thin layers). This polish was also great in terms of wear and is still holding up well after a good week of wearing it. Granted I did apply a topcoat, this still held up through housework and doing dishes by hand. In all, Im a big fan of this shade of Essie polish and think it would be perfect year round if not an easy to upkeep color in the summer months on my fingers and toes.AleksandraM
I am obsessed with Essie, that’s all I have bought since 10 years ago. I have tried Tuck it in my Tux and few others and decided Marshmallow has the best hue!!!! I love the color, not too white not pink, just right. The formula however is horrible. The first couple of times after opening the bottle is great except in order not to get streaks you have to apply 3 coats. After a few days of opening the bottle, the formula gets thick and clumpy and not usable!!! Also, the mandatory 3 layers make the nail polish to peel off in a day or two because it’s simply two thick and rubber feel like almost. Please note this is a constructive review for Essie, I am asking you to please change this formula since I love your products. I would love others to enjoy this wonderful nail polish but at this stage I am not able to use this color anymore. I don’t like anything with sparkle or shine and neither one of your colors mimic marshmallows. The open bottles show the clumps on top. Unfortunately my video would not upload. My favorite nail polishes! Seriously! I've thrown all away my other nail polishes that went bad within months (*Cough* Essie). This version of Sally Hansen is a long lasting and fast drying that do not chip, in my experience. The flat rectangular brush allows me to better apply the nail polish with little to no mess which is a plus for me! Why? Because I am terrible at painting my nails with the regular brushes. Some colors only need one coat and you're set!! I finish it off with the top coat of Color Thearpy to give it a nice shine. For those wondering, I use Sally Hansen Hard as Nails as a base. Did I mention how inexpensive they are?! Only $6 or $7 at Walmart!! I have been using this shade of nail polish (on my toenails) for years, and I hope Sally Hansen never stops making it. In clothing, I wear a lot of black with blues, greens, purples and pinks, but I occasionally wear brown and orange tones. This nail polish looks great with any of these colors. It will take on a pinkish cast with cool colors and somewhat cinnamon cast with warm colors. I am very picky when it comes to overall continuity in color, and this shade goes with everything. This is my first Target review which I had to write because this nail color is so rich, dries quickly, has a gel-like finish, lasts for days, and best of all: your nails are truly in better shape when you remove it. Prior to reading about the color "rosy quartz" on an obscure blog I always bought high end nail polishes and was skeptical of SH color. But I loved this blogger's nail color and she had a link, so I thought I'd give it a try… and now it is my go-to pink! I recently bought the red, and it is just as lovely. And, it didn't stain my nails like other reds do. I can remove it all with one pad unlike other polishes. The first week I wore the pink (my first color) I was shocked at how nice my nails looked after I removed the polish. Though I'm a former nail biter, and have nice and healthy nails now (thanks to years of vitamins, careful care, and treatments), the nails under this polish after wearing it for a few days are gorgeous and healthy looking in a way they've never been. The fine ridges have disappeared and I no longer have to buff prior to polishing. They have a nice look to them even after I take off the polish, almost like they've been heavily moisturized! And they are so strong I catch myself doing things with them I should like opening cans, etc, with zero breakage. This has become my go-to polish, and I hope SH continues to release more colors in this line. If you apply it carefully, it looks as nice as a salon manicure. So this polish is definitely not the best quality but it's typically $1 so we can't expect too much. For what it is it works well. Especially the color #447 Jewel Tone. I like to put it over a black base (2 coats black 2 coats glitter) and it's beautiful!! I am not typically big on doing my nails, especially myself so I try to stick to basics and darker colors that hide imperfections so this jewel tone glitter is perfect! I can't wait to try it over other darker base colors to see the variations in the glitter. As far as quality goes I am super pleasantly surprised at how long this lasts. I use a Sally Henson base and top coat so that probably helps but for the difference in price to the designer polishes I am ok with using good base/top coats and having my polish last a little less time. #nails #nailart #nailfie #lacolorsjennifer.h
Great price on great nail polish. This polish lasts longer than most cheaper polishes. This is perfect to put over top of reds or darker pinks. I used hot blooded with this glitter pink over top for Christmas get together. Very pretty! I got lots of compliments on the color. Saved some money doing it myself instead of going to a Nail Salon. So I know on the website the picture looks like a baby blue but in reality, it's actually a pastel aquamarine. A very light color reminds me of a nice beach day and is perfect for the spring or summer season. You have to apply 2 coats to achieve its full effect. It's a bit on the thicker side, not sure if that is normal for L.A. Colors nail. You can buy them at Family Dollar for $1.25 which is not a Bad Steal.kimberly.l

It's my own fault. I keep buying Sally Hansen products and 90% of the time, they disappoint me. This one is my biggest mistake. Like other reviewers have said, The Moonstone color looks much more appealing in the bottle. When I paint my nail, it's so thin and barely shows. I have to do three coats just to see anything. Unfortunately, it looks and feels like those cheap nail polishes meant for children. I figured it could be used as a cute top coat since it's so clear, but it goes on clumpy and somehow there's tiny air bubbles? The only positive is that it does dry within 60 seconds. I got this back in June from my local sallys beauty store, to paint my nails before I left for California. Never painted my nails until today. The bottle is not even 3 months old and omg it is horrible. The color is so beautiful but the application was applying like it is was a oldie. Streaks, very splotchy not at all impressed. Even with the double duty polish by sally hansen there is no saving this horrible nail polish. Air bubbles, smears so easily even though I waited 10 minutes to make sure it was dry. It’s possible I got a bad batch, but my experience with this polish was terrible. I got the ‘My Ca-Banana’ colour. The first time I used it, I couldn’t get it to go on my nails evenly at all, it was extremely streaky and formed clumps that wouldn’t smooth out. I kept trying and ended up needing to do three and a half coats to get it opaque. I let each coat dry in front of a fan on high for 10 minutes, and 20 minutes after I had finished, I bumped my toe into the corner of a table and the polish came right off of that nail in one clump. I initially chocked this up to me not having painted my own nails in a very long time and maybe just doing too many coats so I took it all off and tried again.
I did two thin coats, drying for 10 minutes between, over 40 hours ago now and I can /still/ press my fingernail into it and leave an obvious dent. It was tacky up until about 24 hours after applying. Dont bother with this nail polish, any other cheap nail polish would be better.Onyx Cave

I bought this because the box claims it makes nail polish (at least OPI nail polish) last much longer before chipping ("up to 11 days of gel-like wear and shine", actually). I work with my hands and I feel the act of painting/doing my nails is way too time consuming, so it is very important to me that my nail polish stay put and stay unchipped for as long as possible. I used this kit exactly as directed, applying multiple coats of each bottle, used my OPI brand Infinite Shine Long-Wear nail polish (the recommended nail polish to use with this kit, I used the gorgeous, sexy red shade "An Affair in Red Square"), and let dry completely. My nail polish WAS very shiny and pretty when it was done. However, in one or two days my nails were already chipping. I really hate spending half an hour to an hour (natural drying takes forever) doing my nails only to have them get messed up after one or two days at work. So I just wear my nails completely bare basically all the time. I only use nail polish and do my nails maybe once every few months. So does this nail kit make your nail polish shiny and pretty? I suppose so, even though nail polish is shiny as-is. It does make your polish look more gel-like. Does this nail kit prevent chipping for "up to 11 days"? Well I suppose TECHNICALLY yes, it was "up to" 11 days… But *I wouldn't use or recommend this kit to prevent chipping of nail polish if you work with your hands.* It simply doesn't work well for that. I have yet to find anything that will make any nail polish last longer than a day or two without chipping, while I hold a job in which I constantly use my hands. So if you want gel-like nail polish, I recommend this kit, and you should get that gel-like result with any nail polish you use with it. I've used OPI products since I was a little girl. It's long been a favorite nail care brand of my mother's. She went through many years where she would only wear I'm not really a waitress, I still associate that color with that ideal woman we always wanted to be when we grew up. So, when I was offered to participate in this cashback campaign, even though I had never used any of the infinite shine products, I knew I would love it. It's even better than I thought!!! Alpine Snow is an old favorite color of mine but the blue color: To Be Continued is new to me. TBC is a beautiful light baby blue that is mesmerizing! It would work in literally every season and I do think it would be beautiful on most skin tones. The OPI formula has always been a winner. I was glad to find all the shades I was looking for through the Ulta.com app but had a hiccup with customer service I had never encountered before that got me a little ruffled. It was quickly shipped but with excessively poor packing that damaged the chrome paint on the bottles. Which I am fortunate was the only issue cause the way they packed it could easily have broken everything in it. To which I wrote CS and they did not seem to care. So I expect nothing will change. I am not real happy with the downside I have seen shipping and handling customer care from Ulta lately. Onto the actual polish. It’s a lovely shade of light pink with no nude/ brown town to it. Just above ballet slipper. Though it looked a little more watery than I prefer, it did not run at all and I had good control with each layer. I tried a thin on and a thicker one to check coverage. You can get good coverage with one layer done thickly. If that is your preference. Dry time isn’t to long, either. By the time you get through coat one, you may be ready to do coat two. I bought this on sale, so I'm happy with the value. It definitely dries faster than most regular polishes, but, of course, it doesn't fully set for about a day or so. There is a bit of an unpleasant odour when applying, but that's minor. My major complaint is that they started chipping the day after I applied. They mostly lasted for like 3-4 days with minor chipping (with the addition of a quick-dry top coat, different brand). Took 3 coats for full coverage, so not great opacity, and very thick on the nail. I am very happy with the price, and love the colour Pink Blink! It's just what I've been looking for, and I will continue to wear it.ash30

I received the CND CREATIVE PLAY TOP COAT to try for free in exchange for my honest opinion from ChickAdvisor and I was pleasantly surprised at the results I always knew the importance of a top coat, but frankly, im lazy and most nail polish takes forever to dry so I usually skip that step. Oops.Top coats are important for manicures because they give a finish, harden nails, and sometimes can help even out brushstrokes for a better looking manicure.I applied one coat on top of my base coat and color which was easy and smooth to apply. The product dried much quicker then I thought it would in which I timed it at approximately 3 minutes. A little bit goes a long way and one dip in the bottle was almost enough to cover one hand. I really liked the finish, it added a little bit of shine but nothing too crazy or blinding. It was just perfect. Over all the topcoat is important to seal and protect your manicure and I think it does a fantastic job of that. I only did one hand with the topcoat and that hand was less prone to chipping and breaking. The hand without the topcoat only lasted two days before I received a chip on the hand with the topcoat lasted four. The hand with the topcoat only has one finger nail chipped and it happened right after I did the dishes. All the other 4 nails still look incredible. On the hand without the top coat all 5 nails are chipped. When it came time to take off the nail polish I had no issues and everything came off easily and painless with nail polish remover and a paper towel. Overall a top coat IS important in a nice manicure and this one is a fantastic option I had less streaks and chips when using the top coat and my manicure looked amazingAnonymous
I purchased Clay Canyon about 5 years ago and it became my favorite nailpolish . A beautiful clay color with a rosy/pink undertone. When I had to toss it I was so bummed but knew I’d repurchase. Repurchase I did – but sadly not until a few weeks ago. Same brand, same color. But it is NOT the same. I figured in that time it must’ve seen a reformulation. It is thick and a very streaky application. It dries very flat and matte (it looked cheap). But the weirdest part – it is not the same color. Clay Canyon is now much more beige with orange undertones – not nearly as pretty. So if you’re looking for a basic beige color with terrible application, this is sadly now it.JoyFull

I really like to make my own manicures and pedicures. I have all kind of nail polishes which I buy in drug stores and on-line. Even have my own UV-lamp and used to do shellac and gelish at home. I love the way gel-polish shines on your nails, but it is really hard to remove this polish afterwards. So, I was looking for a product that would make my nails shiny and thick, but will remove within seconds with regular nail-polish remover. China Glaze Fast Forward Top Coat is this one product you need to make your nails look salon-quality worthy. I use other brands for the base coat and color, but I always put China Glaze on top of it. This polish dries out within a minute and makes your nails nail-hard. And the sine you get…lets just say, when I came to manicure place to get my nails done (I still do it sometimes), the lady took out machine to remove my gel because she could not believe regular nail polish can look so shiny. And it was 5 days old manicure! People always give me compliments on the way my nail polish look like, and I always tell them, that my only secret is the the top coat I use. What is more, this polish does not tend to dry out in the bottle. So you can use up the whole thing, which saves a lot of money, because normally I throw away polishes that get thick and eventually don't dry well on your nails.dani.s
I agree with another reviewer about the color. Mine is definitely a hot coral. And it went on in a matte finish…not shiny at all. So what's up with that? Thankfully I have a very shiny long lasting top coat which brought back the shine. So what is it supposed to be? Pink or coral? Shiny or matte?? Either this was mislabeled, I got one from a bad batch, or it was reformulated because what I received is hot coral, not at all pink as pictured. Even when I googled for swatches prior to ordering it looked like it was supposed to be a lovely hot pink neon. But even accounting for lighting/device display differences this is way on the orange spectrum, so I am very disappointed. Has done a great job and have definitely made a difference. As a nail tech, I’ve used all kinds of different shellacs on my clients. I have found that this one by far is my favorite. Not only is it high-quality, but it carries such a vibrant pigment.
