My daughter loves the polish colors and the stickers. The polish quality isn’t like an adult polish and/or polish with more chemicals. The polish chips off by the next day just from normal everyday activities, hand washing, bath. My daughter doesn’t mind but then she just asks to paint her nails every other day. Lol. I have even used the blow dryer but I don’t notice it makes the polish last any longer. I do like that the polish doesn’t smell and is non toxic and because it chips off I never have to use nail polish remover, which I like. Also the stickers never stay on more than an hour. I'm not sure if I got a fluke pack or what. Based on the reviews I was excited for my daughter to try this, but within 2 hours a significant amount of the polish comes off. Even with my daughter being fairly inactive. I thought maybe I didn't do it well. So I shook them extra good, then tried 3 coats, drying with a hair dryer on a low setting in between, but still the same problem. I understand kid's polish shouldn't last as long as regular polish, but it's useless if it comes off the second the kid touches something.Amy28
You must use blow dryer after a few layers, you must use top coat (the whitish colour in the bottle -they have another product that is clear not that one, but you need the top coat). The top coat makes all the streaks go away. Of course blow dry after applying top coat. On kids it lasts a few days depending on how active they are and how much they let u blow dry . On adults without any chips 2 3 days, and then small chips. The only con is that its hard to take off after 3 days. I used reg nail polish remover and alcohol was more effective . Lotsa elbow grease and at the end I used the electic nail mani set to buff /file off the color. Obviously doesn’t last super long. My 6 and 8 YO girls loved the Disney Frozen Glitter 14 piece Nail Set. I didn't even have to help them with it because they have peel-off removal, no acetone necessary. My 6.5 yr old was thrilled when we received this gift. We have used another competitors natural paint in the past and it smelled weird and chipped almost immediately so we expected the same with piggy paint. Much to our suprise it had literally no smell, the colors were perfection for my i need each finger a different color girl lol and best of all we are on day 3 will no peeling and no chips. The little nail files are just the right size for kids hands and worked well. Even my toddler boys used the "superman blue" as they called it since i knew i could trust this polish if they put their hands in their mouths. I love painting my nails, and I have 2 girls who also love to have their nails painted. As much as I loved painting their nails, I never felt fully safe using the regular nail polish with all of the harsh chemicals. Enter Piggy Paint Nail Polish! I received 8 colored nail polishes and 1 top coat. As soon as I showed my girls, their eyes lit up and they immediately had to get in and paint their nails. The colors are fabulous. They are very opaque and 1 coat sufficiently coats the nail. I love that they are non-toxic and water-based. Better yet, they literally have no smell! They dry quickly and stay on for days before chipping. This polish works even better than my high end nail polish that I've been using for a long time! The only thing we noticed was that the top coat does have a strong, unpleasant smell, but fades quickly. I love that these are hypoallergenic and made in the USA. I think I have had just as much fun as my girls with using these nail polishes. I will be switching to Piggy Paint from now on for all of my polish needs!Katy36
I've been using my Piggy Paint Nail Polish for about 2 weeks. My first impression was that the bottles were so cute, and I love that there isn't any chemicals. I hate the smell of nail polish as its so strong & the chemical smell alone is just awful. With Piggy Paint Polishes, you don't have that smell & the consistency is really nice considering the ingredients are different. Not only is the consistency nice, but after applying the first coat it dried rather quickly. I did however have to use a second coat to get the color I wanted. Plus I hate being able to see through my nails when in the light. I applied the basecoat & then used again as the top coat. My polish is still on and hasn't chipped which puts the icing on the cake for me. Overall I am very happy with Piggy Paint Nail Polishes, at least all the colors I have tried. My daughter loves the polish colors and the stickers. The polish quality isn’t like an adult polish and/or polish with more chemicals. The polish chips off by the next day just from normal everyday activities, hand washing, bath. My daughter doesn’t mind but then she just asks to paint her nails every other day. Lol. I have even used the blow dryer but I don’t notice it makes the polish last any longer. I do like that the polish doesn’t smell and is non toxic and because it chips off I never have to use nail polish remover, which I like. Also the stickers never stay on more than an hour. I find them stuck in my daughter’s hair or clothes or bed sheets.jbc000
I'm not sure if I got a fluke pack or what. Based on the reviews I was excited for my daughter to try this, but within 2 hours a significant amount of the polish comes off. Even with my daughter being fairly inactive. I thought maybe I didn't do it well. So I shook them extra good, then tried 3 coats, drying with a hair dryer on a low setting in between, but still the same problem. I understand kid's polish shouldn't last as long as regular polish, but it's useless if it comes off the second the kid touches something.Amy28
You must use blow dryer after a few layers, you must use top coat (the whitish colour in the bottle -they have another product that is clear not that one, but you need the top coat). The top coat makes all the streaks go away. Of course blow dry after applying top coat. On kids it lasts a few days depending on how active they are and how much they let u blow dry . On adults without any chips 2 3 days, and then small chips. The only con is that its hard to take off after 3 days. I used reg nail polish remover and alcohol was more effective . Lotsa elbow grease and at the end I used the electic nail mani set to buff /file off the color. Obviously doesn’t last super long. This is day 2, I will try to updated when it chips and upload photo.Lana

Wow! Finally a kid-friendly nail Polish that actually goes on nicely and LASTS!! The colors are beautifully vibrant and I love that they all have a nice shimmer/sparkle to them. I used the top/base coat on my two kids (4 and 6 year olds) then alternated with the purple, green, and pink colors to their liking for both nails and toes. I really appreciate that that it doesn’t smell like chemicals! I don’t have to worry about my kids inhaling the fumes or putting their hands in their mouths (one of them likes to bite her nails). I loved the saturated color and it lasted for 2 weeks on my toes without chipping. I did experience some chipping on my fingernails after 5 days. I used Sally Hansen base and top coat with both toes and fingers. I usually use a soy based polish remover for removal all my polishes ((usually Sally Hansen, Opi and Essie). However, the polish wouldn’t come off with the soy polish remover. Luckily I had some acetone remover and was able to use that. Even with the acetone remover, it took me an hour to get the polish off my fingers! I didn’t bother trying to remove the polish off my toes. I went to a nail salon and they had to soak off the polish with acetone remover and file off the remnants of polish. They asked me if I was wearing gel polish. I had to show them the bottle. I won’t use this polish again. I get the same staying power with my regular polishes with the headache of removal.LadyCG

What I am finding out, after many purchases of many different items, is that I should typically ignore the poor reviews as though individuals are likely not doing something correctly when it comes to the product. For instance, I read that this product (for some) needed to be repainted mulitple times within the day. That is simply not true if you follow the instructions that are attached with the clear Piggy Paint base and sealcoat. You need to use the basecoat as a base and seal coat to maintain the weat and you should also make sure that you are drying the polish for 60 seconds (for all coats) with a blow dryer on warm. My daughter's nails look super adorable and she loves them so much! We are on day 2 of her wearing them and they are all in tact (with some smudges due to me places banana stickers on her fingers that fell off; this had nothing to do with the polish itself). My advice: by the polish and follow the directions. Don't be swayed by the negative reviews as they likely did not follow the instructions. I have no review as to the removal of the polish, but that is because my daughter is still wearing it 🙂Lovelovelove

I paint my daughters nails all the time with other polishes and all us good. Not this! I thought this was cute because of the tiny bottles and colors but it comes off immediately after you paint it on, so what’s the point? I completely agree with the other reviewers that say this just doesn’t work cause it never stays on an entire day, which for me defeats the purpose of taking the time to paint the nails.
