I’m going to make this short and to the point. After opening the package I read the directions and at the bottom in tiny print it said it was not an anti fungal which can only be prescribed be a physician. Turns out this is a cosmetic, not a cure. The outer package should say that. Instead I wasted $30.00 on a product that gives the false impression it is a cure. After years and years of buying much more expensive anti-fungal nail treatments that never worked, I'm very impressed with how effective Fungi-Nail is when used as directed. It's already cured the nail fungus I picked up courtesy of a public swimming pool (you'd think the chlorine would kill it, but my doctor says that pool surroundings and shower areas are one of the most common places to pick up nail fungus). So much to say but il keep it short. It worked so far on my last to fingers. My middle finger i broke three times so the nail is a mess and does not seem to be clearing up. People need to read the box before trying this. It softens the fungal debris so it can be removed, taking away the food supply for the fungus but it takes time. The key is to get it under the nail as far as possible and then periodically clean out the softened gunk underneath. If you don’t do this it won’t work. So if you want instant gratification then neither this nor any anti fungal will make you happy. But if you follow instructions it will work over time, quicker for some, slower for others depending on the degree of fungal infection. If you’ve let your feet go for awhile it will take longer. So the secret is to be patient. Tip: also put some gel on the pad of a band aid and then wear it wrapped around the nail. Change daily. Will slightly accelerate process.John
I have used Nonyx for the last month or so after trying many different things to combat toenail fungus. None seemed to have much effect but since Nonyx my nails are a lot whiter and growing out looking better. I have several that have been thickened for quite some time and they are still thick, but by keeping them closely trimmed and cleaned out under the nail and apply Nonyx twice a day I can see some improvement. Does not happen overnight but over time I think they are showing improvement. This product does not get rid of toe nail fungus. It supposedly just makes the nail look better. It actually made the nail look worse. Much darker. Better off just using Tea tree oil to kill the fungus. The nail will eventually get thinner and lighter in color as it grows out. I'm not going to say this product won't work for anyone, but it didn't work for me. Now I've been suffering from a nail fungus that started about 3-4 years ago and it go to the point that I had to go to the podiatrist and he removed the nail whilst also applying a medication which was supposed to keep the fungus from coming back, but when my new nail grew back, I had the same issue. My nail is discolored and lifted from the nail bed. I've been able to get the nail halfway adhered with application of tea tree oil under the nail twice a day. I tried this product and had hopes that it would help the remaining other half of my nail to recover or at least look nice since it is summer and therefore sandal time, however, this product did not improve the look of my nail or the condition. In fact, it made it feel inflamed and painful so I removed the product and my toe began to feel better without using it. Now what I will say about this product is that it applies easily and will stay on all night or all day (even walking around with shoes or sandals) but it still is easily removed when it's time to remove it. This would probably work for people with thin nails or the beginning signs of a nail fungus but not something as advanced as what I have.Angelica
I was so excited to try this product. I have been looking for something that would help with my gross thick toenails. I’ve tried many things and this product had great reviews so I had high expectations. It was very easy to apply and it stayed on throughout the night and the next day. I thought I would hate having them between my toes but it didn’t bother me. I’ve been using for about two week because it only contains 14 patches which for the price I think you deserve at least 30. I didn’t see any results that made my toe nail look any better. I’m so disappointed. It does advise you to use this product for 3-6 months. I have only been using this for a few weeks and only about 3 to 4 times per week and already I see improvement. My nails were thick, yellow, and misshapen, but now the thickness has reduced to the point where I was able to use just the regular toenail clippers on most nails, as some of the layers are gone, and I even see where the new growth is coming in, that some of the nails are beginning to turn white again. Also, my toes don't hurt anymore. I haven't seen this in over 12 years, and I've been too ashamed to wear open toed shoes, but I am at least 75% less concerned for anyone to see my feet, now. I purchased Proclearz to clear up a fungus on a toenail. I purchased it because the illustration on the box clearly showed the applicator applying liquid to a toenail that had been eaten away by fungus (see image below). But the product instructions never specifically state whether the liquid should be applied to a fungal toenail, using vague phrases like "around the nails, underneath nail tips" which, coupled with the very clear graphic artwork, indicate it is intended for treating toenail fungus. Only when you read the very last sentence in the tiny type directions do you encounter the statement "this product is not effective on scalp or nails." This combination of the fungal nail art and the statement about it not being effective on nails is deceptive. I went to the product website and, lo and behold, the box artwork has now been altered to show a perfect, fungus-free toenail with the applicator applying fluid, implying that the nail has been cured of the fungus infection with product use. (See second image below.) Note that the toenail is dead centered within the red "target circle" on both illustrations. As I get older my yellow toenails have become more noticeable and embarrassing. When I saw this product I thought, ‘What can I lose?’ I’m very happy to say that this product not only works, but it works fast! All you have to do is apply the Nail Revitalizer Liquid and place your nail under the LED accelerator light for around seven minutes. The LED light is safe and UV-free. I started seeing results in as little as one to two days! I’m now on my way to wearing flip-flops confidently this summer! The biggest pro is this really works, and it works quickly. The light will last for quite some and handle all your toes. After a couple of uses your nails will look noticeably healthier! The cons are that it does take some time to do all your toes, and the light takes around two hours to charge. Otherwise, if you’re suffering from yellow, fungal toes I highly recommend trying this out! Dr Scholl’s is a trusted brand and this product is proof of that! I never knew this type of nail therapy even existed. Every day, all day long 8 hours a day I am moving around at my job. It takes it toll on my feet and toe nails. On my right foot one of my nails needed help. The constant sliding of my foot against the front of my shoe caused discoloration/brittleness. I tried lotion, filing etc. Then this device. At first I thought this device might hurt my toe. It does hurt not at all. This system is simple to use and is not painful at all. Just plug it in to charge it first. After the charge is complete just press the button and place on the toe nail area for approximately 7 minutes. The device turns off when complete. There is a gel included which is obviously placed on the nail bed before the light therapy. Much has been written about light therapy. This is a blue light therapy. I have a toe nail that was hit hard by a door many many years ago and I'm still having issues with it. I never really lost the nail completely, at times it appears to begin to heal and grow back in, but then part of it falls off again. I've been to a Podiatrist who told me to accept it as it, tried many remedies, tea tree oil, vinegar baths, nothing has worked, so when I saw this two step program by Dr Scholls I thought what the heck! Though I never really saw any green, I knew I had a fungus and that's why it just wouldn't grow in completely. I've been using it twice a day religiously for about 2 months. I immediately saw a change after the first few days. It's grown in about 3/4 and I'm very excited. I had been having my manicurist put a fake nail on it for years so I could wear sandals in the summer. Just a bit more growth and I'll never have to go the fake nail route again.
