I can soak it and soak it for what seems like hours and I still have to file it off or scrape with an orange stick. The colours are beautiful, it is easy to apply for a beginner and it doesnt pool at the edges of your nail. I used a 1 minute cure time with a UV/LED lamp for each layer of base, color, and top coat that was applied. Thin coats are key in getting the polish to last, as is doing the proper prep work to your nails (buffing and cleaning the surface) prior to any application of the formula.The base coat is slightly tacky after curing it, which helps to get the color coat to stick and not shrink. The top coat is a no wipe formula which leaves a smooth surface and a plump and glossy shine. As for the durability, a manicure done with this base and top coat along with an Aimeili color gel lasts for 14 days with minimal wear to the tips and hardly a chip in sight. Individually, the base and top coat sell for $6.99 each, but as a set, you will only pay $9.99. This is insanely cheap as you get 10 mL of polish in each bottle. Other gel top and base coats easily cost more than double that price for even less polish inside, and the ones from Aimeili are of an equal quality to them, if not better. I decided to treat myself to this after usually only buying standard nail polishes. Reading the reviews I went ahead and was really excited to try it out. The initial application was great, went on really well and dried quite quickly. However, less than 24 hours later, 8 out of my 10 nails are chipped, and the varnish has actually peeled off two of my nails altogether! I only did my toenails, not my fingernails, so it’s not as if my nails have been bashed about with general day to day. This is probably one of my favourite nail polishes. I love the shade of green and the non-goopy application of it. It’s also lasted longer than any of the other expensive polish brands I own (all the ones that promise no chips for two weeks and then they chip next day no matter how careful you are). I’ve gotten a bit less than a week’s wear out of it, but even now it’s only a couple chips on a few fingers, which is to be expected because I’m a mom of young kids, so I am constantly doing something with my hands and washing them. Love the idea of it and this colour is just gorgeous. However the brushes in this (maybe i got a dodgy one) but it left a lot of streaks and didn’t apply smoothly and did have a few straggler hairs which made a mess. I applied my first Miracle Gel, color 'Saturn it Up'. One week and absolutely no chips. It was even difficult to file with my Revlon file boards. My nails were destroyed 2 weeks ago when my Gel soak off polish would not come off after soaking my fingers for 15 minutes in acetone. I had to slowly peel them and then soak again to no avail. So with damaged and paper thin nails I tried the miracle. I did 3 coats but they were super thick. There was a little distortion under the top get. The top gel dried great but step one wasn't dry all the way. I'm going to do the process again even though I don't need to. Love the idea of it and this colour is just gorgeous. However the brushes in this (maybe i got a dodgy one) but it left a lot of streaks and didn’t apply smoothly and did have a few straggler hairs which made a mess. Other than that the shape of the brush is great for around the cuticles. Not much product but I guess that’s the purpose for it to be travel friendly. I applied my first Miracle Gel, color 'Saturn it Up'. One week and absolutely no chips. It was even difficult to file with my Revlon file boards. My nails were destroyed 2 weeks ago when my Gel soak off polish would not come off after soaking my fingers for 15 minutes in acetone. I had to slowly peel them and then soak again to no avail. So with damaged and paper thin nails I tried the miracle. I did 3 coats but they were super thick. There was a little distortion under the top get. The top gel dried great but step one wasn't dry all the way. I'm going to do the process again even though I don't need to. I bought several other colors and have decided to give myself permission to change colors every week! I am thrilled after trying the gels. I bought rain-glow yesterday. I unwrapped the plastic, so I know it was brand new, and started to do step one. The first couple nails were challenging because the color seemed quite thick. It did not go on smooth. By the time I got to the third nail I realized there was something very wrong with the color and this was not going to go well. Applying acrylic/gel to the least dominant hand,(for me my left),even for a nail artist,can be somewhat of a challenge! This stuff is amazing! It truly makes it sooo much easier. The product itself goes on beautifully and hardens quickly under an L.E.D lamp. It lasts,without lifting or peeling,and,in my opinion,is as strong,if not stronger,than traditional gels or acrylics do. It's very lightweight and has the added bonus of no over powering smelly monimor! Which for us asthmatics is always welcome. I love the Gelish PolyGel, it's a great system, however I'm not a fan of the bright white color. It is a bit difficult to work with due to the consistency and if you are using forms you will need to take it off and cure the underside as the light might not penetrate all the way through. I give it 3 stars because the color is nice and the brand is otherwise great to use, but it does take a different approach to work the white.sara

I recently ordered 5 colors through Kiara Sky and absolutely love all of them! I was told about this brand through my cousin who is a loyal customer of theirs. There are sooo many to choose from and it is very hard to not pick them all. I love glitter and they have a ton of glitter options. They also offer deals and have texting and email offers if you sign up which is nice to take advantage of. I enjoy using gel nail polish but have struggled in the past with cheaper brands lasting on my nails. My hands get pretty beat up as I am a vet technician and workout daily. My nails would often chip in a week despite follow gel polish ways of using. I have had on this color for a little over a week now and so far no chipping and it seems to be holding up very well! I'm excited to try the other colors I purchased. The only complaint I have is it took 3 weeks for delivery and I kept receiving misleading emails about where my package was and if it had even shipped or not. Otherwise, the colors came in a cute box with preventable measures for them not to break. I will most likely be ordering again if these colors continue to hold up well on my nails. I was excited to try Kiara Sky! My cousin told me about this brand and I decided to try it since other brands I have used in the past would chip. I have tried this color and it last two weeks. The biggest thing is to wipe down with rubbing alcohol after curing because it is still extremely sticky otherwise. But it’s easy to build and easy to mold. This was the first time I've ever done a successful nail extension on myself. I am incredibly impressed with this kit. My thumbs are too big for the largest tip in the set but I was able to combat that problem by using additional builder gel to create a perfect fit. I recommend shaping the cuticle area of the tip before you place them if your cuticle area is more round. I was able to create a custom fitting set successfully and I am sure it will go quicker next time. I would suggest having a nail drill and full hand curing lamp on hand for ease of use. I do not have a full hand curing lamp at this time so I was able to do my nails individually with the lamp provided. But seriously would be time saving to invest in a full size lamp lol. For someone who is new to gel polish and diy nail extensions this was very self explanatory and easy to follow. Would recommend to everyone!!Makenna M.
So user tip. Start with your pinky. Work your way towards your first finger and thumb. Otherwise trying to hold the nail down and use it light will be really hard. if you start with your pinky you can have full use of first finger and thumb till the very end. I chose the medium length. I have done my nails 4 times now. Twice I had a nail pop off. My thumb but that’s cuz I’m a cashier and I gripped something and used my nail not my actual thumb. I wish they had a way for you to just order your size nails once you know your nail size. They give you 00-10 I think and obviously you’re gonna be left with nails you can’t use cuz they don’t fit. Hardest part is holding the nail down to keep air pockets out while pressing the uv light button which as on the BACK of the uv light. Not very user friendly. A push down button on front base would have been smarter. So one star loss for that reason. Either way I love this kit. This picture is after a week of growth and my first attempt at ombré glitter, not easy so I can see a lot of errors.Jack
This kit is absolutely worth every penny. I’ve been doing my own nails for about 2-3 years now, and the part I’ve always hated the most is having to apply the nail product — whether that’s polygel, gel, or acrylic — because I’m a perfectionist and it takes me forever to do so. This kit cuts the time that I would usually take to do my nails in half. Applying them takes a little practice the first time you use the kit, but by the time you’re on your other hand, it’s much easier. I’ve applied fake full-cover tips with gel bottom coat polish before and they don’t last NEARLY as long as these. As I’m typing this out, I still have a set on that I applied over 5 weeks ago. While they’ve definitely grown out, I’m still not seeing any lifting whatsoever at the cuticle. I am in love with this Polygel Nail Kit. Very easy for beginners though I did struggle a tiny bit with the forms on my right hand (left is not my smart hand) the gel would smoosh out on the sides. Easily cleaned up I was able to take my time and manipulate the gel to my desired shape and smoothness. I doubt I'll go back to a nail salon even after stay at home orders are lifted. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars across the board was that when I purchased sticker forms (under the nail) got better results than with the clear forms that came with the kit which you have to press onto your nail. It's a great kit with lots of polygel I've done mine twice and my daughters once and still have tons left. I really like how easy these are to put on and they stay on. I've had mine on a week and haven't had any problems with them coming off. So I applied these nails on a Thursday. I'm a full time mom so I'm really hard on my nails (cooking. Cleaning. Wash. Changing. Chores. Gardening. Etc.) easy to apply for the most part. I clipped them way down and filed them. I mostly wanted them to look painted. I got so many compliments and everyone thought they were my nails. I ripped them off on the following Monday. The edges of my nails were showing just a little bit. But it's those little details and hat drives me a little crazy. I soaked them in a bowl of hot water. They came off fairly easy. They were still really stuck. Minimal damage to my nails. Overall I like them and if I had something I wanted to look nice for quickly for sure. But for me gel nail polish makes more sense.Grace
