This is the first set of Ohora nails that I’ve bought, and I’m in love with the color. The pictures aren’t able to do them enough justice. They look even better in person. Application was super easy, and I finished them with the glossy top coat.. I did have a couple that weren’t quite wide enough, but I’ve watched a couple of videos on how to stretch them for next time. With the stretching technique, you can probably get 2 sets out of one box, and have some strips left to incorporate with other sets if desired. I’m going to try using the bit of the strip I trim off as a pedi next time as well. You should have enough length left when you trim them to easily apply to your toes unless you have very long nails. I type all day at work, so longer nails tend to be in the way as much as I love them, but I still wanted a nice manicure. These turned out beautifully, and I’ve already ordered a few other styles. Absolutely impressed! An honest review – I read these last 2wks+, and have heard that before with so many other products, so didn't expect it was true but gave it a go anyway. They actually lasted 2 WEEKS! I work and am a mum so always have my hands wet, yet still got 2 weeks of perfect mani, no chipping or lifting AT ALL. Finally got my first chip in a nail today, literally 2 weeks after I put them on. Next is removal, that is often the worst part of a good product, but these came off in less than 10 mins and NO NAIL DAMAGE. Truely. I just applied this set and it looks great! The various reviews complaining about color on this website always make me laugh. Nowhere in the description of this set does it say the solid color is green. The set is literally named "Quince," do people not know what color Quince is? One of my favorite things about Ohora nails is that I seem to be able to wear a lot of colors I could never get away with when I was "painting" the color on, such as the translucent, milky white colors. Ive never had luck with applying strip nail polish but i figured i could give the gel a shot since i saw it had decent reviews. 34 strips included and these are not made for people with bigger wider nailbeds. Nearly all of the strips i applied werent large enough width to actually cover my nails. I used the alcohol prep pads and even filed my beds to try and make sure it could have the best chance of adhering. I got 2 out of 10 to seal around the edges before curing. After curing some of the tips raised up causing them to not be adhered to the tip of my nail. Joy. Definitely a waste of money for people that have rounded wide nailbeds.courtney .m

Some background on me: I like the idea of manicures, but I haven't had a professional one in years. I hate that they mess around so much with my cuticles. I hate the smell. I hate that gels need to be soaked and scratched off. I have SUPER fast growing and hard fingernails, so even a gel manicure is too grown out at about 10 days. A regular manicure chips off in literally a second.. not even worth the time to apply. I got a competitors product in a subscription box (3x the price, "custom" fit nails). When I heard you could peel them off like a sticker, but there were durable as gels, I was intrigued. I tried those and loved that they applied easily and did last for about 10 days (those broke down at day 10 because my nail growth was getting too long). When it was time to remove, they did easily peel off, though those left a gunky glue on my nails that I had to remove with polish. The other brand was also almost too short to cover my whole nail, so when I wanted to try it again I looked for another brand. When I saw the price on these, I was not expecting much. I loved these. Since then I have used them every week for 5 weeks and I have stocked up on a wardrobe of them.. seriously about 30 packs.. to keep up my mani for the rest of the year. Here's what I've learned: – These are not as durable as the pricier brand. The edge will start to peel up on my two pointer fingers around day 5.. they last from Sunday night to Saturday morning. Then I take them off, file and condition my nails, then apply again on Sunday night. – These peel off PERFECTLY.. no gunk or residue. – It is SUPER important to apply with no wrinkles. The wrinkles will not "flatten out" – instead the color will peel off, looking chipped, and it will really shorten the life of the manicure as the edges start to detach. The first time I did this, it took a while to get used to it but everything applied flat. The second time, it was a lot faster but I got some wrinkles. Make sure your nails are totally clean when you apply it. I love that they don’t chip, regardless of the design. They last longer than two weeks, the only downside being the growth you see due to time. Removal is pretty easy. You can soak your nails in water and start to peel them off easily. I’ve also peeled without soaking but don’t recommend that. I took one star off because of what happens to my nails after I use this. It really dries out the surface of my nails and leaves a white cast. I even have a chip across the surface of my nails, which was really bad. I'm comparing Dashing Diva to the Color Street nail strips I typically use – but to be fair they're not really the same thing. DD nail strips are not real nail polish, and they're basically nail stickers. Here's my takeaway: Pros- Last longer than CS because they're not actual nail polish. A big issue I have with CS is that the polish tends to chip and crack after the first few days of wear. Not the case with DD. Easy to remove, no acetone necessary. Convenient to buy since they're sold in stores. Cons- Because they're not real polish, you can't put a bigger size nail strip on your nail. You have to size down so their may be gaps between your nail and the strip unless you happen to have the perfect size cuticle for the DD nail strips. A bit tricky to apply in that once the strip creases there's no fixing it. There's more flexibility in the CS nail strips, so if you crease those you can lift and reapply with no visible crease. Not the case with DD, so I was just extra careful. I had a bit of creasing on the tips of one nail, but I think I need to be more careful when filing and make sure to only file down- not side to side. We'll see if that helps the next time I try these. Overall good for the price, and I'll definitely grab another pack in a different color.AP

I saw a lot of reviews that said they were hard to put on, hard to file, and didn’t last. Here is what I can tell you: They can be hard to get the right fit with the solid colors – the trick is to put it on one edge of your nail (while still on the plastic sheet) and rock it to the other edge to see if it fits. That did the trick for me. Hard to file – I also didn’t have this problem – the trick is to file just one side at a time straight down at the edge. Be careful not to file at an angle towards the top of the nail or it will make them look rough. If you file straight down in one area until the strip separates then it will come off clean. Then move to the next section and do the same. If it is still a little rough then file under the nail so you don’t scuff the top. And they don’t last? No way! My photo shows about 12 days of wear so far. Two tips for this one – the package says remove the strips with tweezers which can help prevent you getting too much oil on them, although I have never used tweezers, and they seemed to stick fine for me, I just grab them by the edge. Also, the package says use a clear coat over the top. I grabbed the Sally Hansen instant dry top coat. It works great. I absolutely love these, especially since I don’t have time to let nails dry with a small kid at home. And I will trim them in half and get double the uses out of almost all of the strips! Plus, I love these way better than other brands, for example Color Street, because when you are done with them, they peel off, and I don’t have to use nail polish remover like Color Street. I was hoping these would be like the sally hanson ones from a few years back, and if that is what you are looking for then you will be sorely disappointed. First of all they are difficult to put on in the first place, and require you to position in a way that you can't really see the rest of your nail and then often ends up not falling straight on the nail and so you have to peel and start over. While on first application it applied smooth after a couple of hours and into the next day it started lifting up at the edges, especially at the top of the nails. The first most annoying thing was trying to file the rest of it off, you will not get a clean line at all. While I initially though the thickness of the strips were a bonus they proved to be a nightmare to file or even cut off and left jagged ugly edges. I am writing this the day after I applied and every nail is lifting up at the sides or at the top. I used a based coat for this and thought that I would give it a day to see if its claims of not needing a top coat were true, that was a lie along with every other aspect of this. While I love the style and the color of the blue this is a hard pass. I will not try it again or anything else from this line. If they want to be the old school Sally hanson nail effects polish strips they need to get some serious learning in. These are just pathetic in comparison.whip

So I watched a bunch of YouTube videos from all over the spectrum about these nails to better prepare… there was a lot of tips about needing personal nail files, manicure scissors and other various equipment for best results So before I even began I made sure I had all that stuff within reach- full honesty did not even need it. Everything that came inside the kit was absolutely enough to and caused me zero issue to use. Don’t over complicate it for yourself guys. IMPORTANT- do not touch cuticle and while these gels are stretchy, don’t force it too much or the edges are clearly delineated. Use the wooden flat tool thing to pat them smooth them before curing. I also put a gloss top coat (Bought right here as well) on top for extra support and SHONE. Turned out beautiful and further masked any edges. LOVEEE this look.Hanna
It took a little longer to apply than I thought it would and it wasn’t as easy the first time. But after a couple sets now it’s much easier to get them on and perfect and they last a really long time. I get compliments everyday. And I love that you can do your toenails. I tried to sets of these gel nail strips and they don’t stay on for a least a week. I follow the instructions correct, put it under the lamp 3 times for each hand and had a gel polish on top to steal them on and it still doesn’t work. I used another gel strip like dashing divas and added gel polish on top and those surprisingly lasted longer. I’m not sure if it’s because my nails are thin, but either way they really need to upgrade the product to last on all nail types . They have good variety or colors and designs unlike most gel strip brands out there, But they really need to improve on the product actually staying on. The product is just way too good to be true. Definitely a great alternative to paying the salon price for gel manicures. You do need to be meticulous while applying the strips to make sure your nails are clean, that the strips do not extend past your nail into the skin or cuticle (all will cause the polish to easily peel right off). Like any nail polish, the wear depends on how often you wash your hands and what products you come in contact with. However, I love how I can get a spot-on mani without any dry time at home, plus these come in lots of cool colors and designs.maria.i

Putting them on gets easier and faster, and they last a long time – about two weeks (or longer if you add another top coat every week, which is what I did when my nail broke and taking it off would mean that it would hurt). The reason I'm giving these 3 out of 5 stars is the terrible communication. I followed all instructions on the website, but due to a glitch, the free lamp was not included. You cannot use these nails without a gel lamp. I contacted Ohora 3 times before I received my order to let them know the website failed to include the necessary lamp. I really like this nail set—it adheres well, lasts long, and is a really nice, warm yet neutral yellow. That said, when I saw the box, I expected a fresh and perky spring yellow. So, I planned to use it in April (I buy these things in bulk and then use them for about a year before I need to purchase more). However, the one issue that I have with this product is that it does not stay on very long (max of 3 days until the edges start lifting and catching my hair). I buffed the nails, used the cleaning wipes, and did a top coat on top but nothing seems to help. I appreciated the relative ease of application. You find a sticker that is closest to nail size, opting for slightly smaller if you’re in between. Then you place it and pull it taut over the top of your nail, using the provided file to remove the excess. And that’s about it. The first time I did this, it took a while to get used to it but everything applied flat. The second time, it was a lot faster but I got some wrinkles. Make sure your nails are totally clean when you apply it. I love that they don’t chip, regardless of the design. They last longer than two weeks, the only downside being the growth you see due to time. Removal is pretty easy. You can soak your nails in water and start to peel them off easily. I’ve also peeled without soaking but don’t recommend that. I took one star off because of what happens to my nails after I use this. It really dries out the surface of my nails and leaves a white cast. I even have a chip across the surface of my nails, which was really bad. I think I would still use this for a special occasion, but it is brutal when you’re done so you need aftercare.mary anne.m

I wanted to love these nails because they looked so pretty in the package. Unfortunately, I found many issues with this set: – It was hard to find a variety of different colors that fit. I know everyone’s nail sizes are different, so some people may not have this issue. – The glittery gold and silver nails were thicker and stayed on best. The rest were thinner nails and didn’t work well for me because they started chipping and getting damaged almost immediately. I ended up going through the hassle of removing them and replacing them with glittery nails, but I didn’t get the same variety. – The nails with the gold band across the top had the band too high for me. My nails are on the shorter side, I guess, but the cutoff was right around the band. This didn’t look great, especially since the color below the band was not black but translucent grey. – The nails were tedious and hard to remove without damaging my own natural nails. – The nail stickers are supposed to be bent over the edge of the natural nail and filed down. They have a gumminess that makes this not work well. I ended up with rough gummy edges that I kept trying to fix. – I also found that many of the edges kept coming detached which was annoying and frustrating and even a little gross when washing hands or something. I absolutely love in "A New Leaf" . They give you a beautiful, instant, manicure that lasts up to 14 days (but I've had them last longer!). They're made with real gel, so it looks like you went out and spent $40+ on getting your nails done. You get 32 gel nail strips in the pack, so there are multiple sizes to choose from and there's something to fit every nail size. It comes with 3 different patterns in the package so you can really be creative with your nails. All you have to do is prep your nails with the prep pad (alcohol pad), select the proper size, peel off the back, apply the nail, and finally, file off the excess. Amazing product that prevents me from nail biting and polish-picking!! Pictured on my nails: Polar Express (after 1 week) I came across these when I was scrolling through Instagram and knew I just had to try them. It did take me a couple tries to get used to applying them correctly. BUT after applying/changing them every 1.5 – 2 weeks for about 2 months, I’m able to get my full manicure done in under 30 minutes. These can definitely last longer than 14 days, but I like to change them out when my natural nail starts to show a lot at the base due to growth. To make them last longer, I use the and Essie Gel Couture Top Coat to really seal in the nail strip. If the strip is too narrow (usually its the thumb strip for me), I warm up the strip a bit with my fingers and slowly stretch it out so it fits better. I used to bite my nails and pick at my nail polish so much. Not to mention regular nail polish chips so quickly because I’m washing my hands and cleaning so frequently nowadays. With these nail strips, I am discouraged from biting/picking at my nails because the designs are just so cute! and I love love LOVE that they don’t chip or peel easily. I rave about these so much and get so many compliments while I’m out and about!
