I was thrilled to find this product. When I finally got around to trying it, I had a difficult time opening the bottle and when I did get the top unscrewed the bottle was broken. I'm unsure if the product leaked into the cap when it was manufactured or what happened. Since it was outside of the 30 day return policy I've had to keep it upright, and in a safe place so it doesn't tip over. The brush was also all matted, so when I do use the product I use a different brush I have. Occasionally when I paint this product on I'll get a thick hardened piece of the product on my nail so have to wipe it off. The product when it does go on nice and is set with the UV light is great. I am assuming I got a bad bottle.
The top coat works really well and is one of the many products I use to make press on nails ( I am NailedByRachel on IG). So far, so good! It is rather fast-drying, especially for as thick and gel-like as it is. It's definitely not as thick as a layer of gel in the salon, but I'd say a little thicker and richer than regular nail polish and top coat. I love that it's versatile enough to wear over any polish. Easy to work with. Goes on smoothly and is nicely thick on the nail. Self-leveling which minimizes unwanted visible brush strokes. Reapply every other day or every three days max. I actually like the Seche Vive a bit better than the Seche Vite. It is thicker, which I like, but truthfully you probably only get to use half the bottle because it becomes very viscous and hard when you get down to the bottom. I usually pick Seche up on sale or at an off-price retailer, so I don't mind that I am unable to use all the product. It gives a plump, gel effect and lasts longer than any other topcoat I've tried. I really like the pale pink shade. The shade, called Sweet Surrender, is soft and feminine. I love the brand: the nail polishes are always glossy and easy to apply. The reason I took away 1 star was because after 2 coats, the color was still weak and I needed to apply 3 coats to have the color really show. I used the color “Hot Rod Red.” The brush glides easily, bristles are sturdy yet flexible, the color is vibrant and only one coat is needed. The Sally’s employee told me Morgan Taylor polishes provided a gel like effect and were better than OPI – so I bought two shades plus the top coat. First time, nails were cleaned, top coat applied, air dried and one nail cracked and peeled on the first day. Second time, nails were lightly buffed/filed (mid nail bed to the free tip), polish applied, left to air dry and lasted about 3-4 days until I had tiny cracks way on the end of the free tips. Plus this was surprising after doing many chores. Fabulous colour – great polish. I was pleased to find this on line. I had gel nail polish applied in a salon in the same colour which lasted well .I wanted to go over it to colour in the nail bed growth until my appointment to have the gel removed and re done next week end. I bought this product yesterday from Target. For school I can’t have colored nails so I bought this clear strengthening polish. It chips off every 1-5 hours even when I’m not doing anything except typing on my iPad/phone or outside throwing ball. It has protected my natural nails from chipping but the polish chips. I really adore this Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Too Coat in "Unicorn". Right in the bottle is a mix of beautiful fine shimmer in different colors to give a "unicorn" effect, which looks incredible in the sun, and if I had to describe a unicorn, it would be sparkly, magical and colorful! I used this top coat over Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in "Sugar Fix" and it worked perfectly to add a gorgeous suble shimmer of colors that made me want to constantly look at my nails in different directions to capture the shimmer and color. Unfortunately, the camera cannot the capture the true beauty and sparkle of this unicorn top coat like your eye can in real life. This top cat would go great with any and all colors to give your color a little sparkle and flair. Lasted all week and removal was easy as well. I definitely would recommend it.
I got this product complimentary from Influenster and sally hansen in exchange for my honest review. I got the color sugar fix and the topcoat color of Crystal. The colors were definitely pretty so that was a nice plus. As you can see in the pics, the second pic shows each color with one coat. It is very sheer so definitely you need two coats for it to completely cover your nails. The third pic shows each nail with two coats which covered nicely. The pointer nail has the sugarvfix with the Crystal topcoat on top and it is very pretty with a nice sparkle. It dries pretty quickly too which is another plus. What I did not like about these is that the polish scrapes off your nail pretty easily so there was not a long period of staying power. Also, the wand of the brush is like a flat piece of glass with the bristles at the end. I personally did not like this and found it difficult to get the wand in and out of the bottle. I much prefer round wands which go in and out of the bottle much easier. The polish and the topcoat were also not super shiny like other polishes. I found them both to be a little matte, than super shiny. I prefer more shiny and glossy. Just my preference though. The polish did come off easy with nail polish remover which was nice. This base is a light blue/periwinkle type color. It is thicker consistency so it doesn't chip as much as acrylic or regular paint. the color is bold and beautiful! This polish lasted so long on my nails doing my daily work and tasks and didn't chip! It is much thicker lacquer due to it being gel and chip resistant. It went beautifully with the top coat Crystal to make it holo! Base coat was two top coat three with five min dry time in between 10/10lindsey.h

Sorry but, I'm not as generous with the stars on this as everyone else. Yes, it does go on matte as many others have said, but should it get 3 stars just because it's only able to do that?! A top coat isn't just for looks/aesthetics but also function, it's supposed to protect the color and aide in lasting/durability. I've painted my nails since I was a child and I'm in my early 30's so I've used a fair amount of brands and colors, never have I ever seen a top coat lift color from a dried nail; I thought the issue was that I used a black of a different brand so maybe it was the mismatch, so I went and bought an OPI black and it did the same thing. Even more, it doesn't matter how long you let it dry the first day you practically can't do much because it will smudge or lift in someway, even if you touch it and it seems dry…so this isn't something that you can do when pressed for time. Then, another weird thing about this top coat, is the fact that it doesn't really chip off, but rather, it rubs off or even washes off. Overall, this is a huge miss and major disappointment given that it's OPI! I'm harsh in my review because it's OPI and we have come to expect a certain level from them which is why many of us are willing to pay more for it; however, this performs worse than the old wet n wild polishes, Revlon, or those little bottles of polishes that were super cheap (can't remember name). Basically, this isn't something I will purchase again from them and I am highly suggesting to anyone reading the reviews prior to buying to look elsewhere this isn't worth it, trust me.Not impressed OPI fan
Not impressed. At first it goes on great. No bubbles and any streaks from uneven application just flatterm right out. It's so matte that it just seems to absorb all light, especially on a dark polish! Then, as soon as you touch something, it gets marked up like flat paint on walls. After a few days it seems to mostly wear off, leaving your nails less shiny than a regular top coat, but still reflecting light. Be prepared to freshen your top coat regularly.

If I don't use this my nail polish always smudges and won't dry. I always apply a base coat then 2 coats of colour followed by this OPI RapiDry Top Coat. It dries everything in less than 1 minute and then I can go about my day. I still make sure that I wear open toed shoes the day I paint my toenails as I'm paranoid of it smudging but it really does dry it rapidly. It also makes my nail polish colour look really shiny and prevents the edges from chipping. If you are looking for something that really does dry rapidly then I would recommend this to you.
What happened to this formula! This product used to be the bee's knees…it is awful now! Such a waste of money. It is so thick and goopy…I've tried 3 bottles recently, in hopes it was a bad batch or something…and all were junky! It ruins your painted nails, smudged, streaked and bubbles. Even if you use A TON of product, and get lucky enough for it to dry…there are still going to be tiny bubbles. Also, it literally doesn't dry through with a base + 2 color coats. This top coat will be the best you’ve ever used if you use it correctly. The first few times I tried it I was very disappointed with it. Hours after painting my nails, I was still getting smudges and nicks in the polish. It looked as though it was getting smudged and cloudy, and there was no shine. Then, I tried letting my coats dry A LOT longer then I usually would, and I dried them with a mini fan. After THAT, I had a shiny manicure that lasted over a week with little to no chipping. So- if you have the time to let your coats dry quite a long time, and/or an instrument to dry them (fan) then you will have great results!sd
Love this from OPI! OPI has recently become my new fave brand when it comes to nails. The finishing base coat and top coat work emmensly and has the quickest drying time I’ve ever experienced! They’ve knocked all my other nail products out the park! I was super pleased with my application process. So many nail salons use the brand OPI and it has been featured in Hollywood movies! I have been using this top coat on my nails for years and I love it because it leaves my nail polish so shiny. It's quite thick so you don't need much on the brush and I would recommend you do wipe the brush up the side of the bottle to remove some before you go in and apply it over your nail polish colour. Sometimes the brush does turn the same colour as the nail polish I'm applying it to but that doesn't effect the top coat at all. It also protects the edges of my nails from chipping too. The only thing that I don't particularly like is that it does take longer to dry that other brands I've used so that's why I'm giving it 4 stars.

This is the first time I have ordered from Beyond polish. I was excited to try all the products I ordered. The first time I used the bottom coat it bubbled and did not lay flat or smooth. I thought it was my nails, so i removed the coating and buffed and used a nail strengthener for about a week and a half. Last night I tried again and the bottom bubbled again and the color used seperated on my nails. I am very disappointed in the product and probably wont use the site again, as when I looked up why this would happen, several sites said it is due to old thick polish. Don't purchase if you don't want a completely transparent polish with very, very little color. This is NOT at all the CND "Clearly Pink" polish that I've used for years. I really think this stuff helps prevent chipping. I have been wearing a regular Essie polish with this Sally Hansen as a top and base coat and am going on 7 days with no chipping. I did wrap the tips with polish and top coat and still experienced shrinking at the tip of the nail which i'm not thrilled about, but no chipping at all! I also did prep my nails and wiping them with rubbing alcohol to aide with the polish sticking and I think it helped! I have used many top coats, most around the $10-12 mark and this one this is my favorite. I have been using this bottle for about 4 months and the consistency has not changed at all. Sometimes to keep them extra shiny, I put on another layer of top coat a few days in, but I did not in the scenario above and am still very happy with the results!amanda.s
This stuff is amazing! I can't believe this doesn't have a 100% rating. I was surprised to see that people said that the OPI Natural Nail Strengthener peeled off soon after they applied it. I have not had that problem at all. It dries very quickly, which makes it easier to add more coats. This has helped my long nails stay strong and healthy looking. I would be devastated when my long nails broke, but now they don't break, thanks to this polish from OPI! This is my holy grail nail product. I used this last night for the first time. I had done a design that I was really proud of, but when I put on the topcoat, it immediately smeared the design, even though the polish underneath had had plenty of time to dry. I went to bed an hour later, assuming it would be fine since this bills itself as a quick drying top coat. I woke up with sheet imprints and one nail with the polish pushed and crumpled so there was a large bare patch. I’m very disappointed in the product – maybe it’s just a bad batch, but it performed as if I’d not even bothered. Even hours later, the promised “super-hard finish” has not developed. If you want a quick-drying topcoat that has a hard finish that preserves designs, get something else.
I was really excited to try this top coat. I have quite a collection of them and am always looking to see what’s new. I was not overly impressed with this top coat. It looked flawless at first but the following day is when I started noticing trouble when the tips of my nails were already losing their color underneath and starting to show signs of wear. I know this is bound to happen but I take very god care of my nails and always wear gloves when washing dishes or using hot water for cleaning. Besides that, I thought it was a lovely polish that was super shiny. I also was unimpressed with how long my nails took to dry afterwards. It definitely wasn’t the quickest. This was my first Orly product to ever try and it definitely did not disappoint me. I had seen this brand at target but I didnt want to buy it and not like it so I just always stuck with Sally Hanson. Even though I dont necessarily like Sally's products I tend to buy and go with what i know instead of venturing out, I pain that on being a cancer. Last year my nails were in bad shape and I finally took the risk, not because i was brave but because the products I usually got were stole out of. This made my nails hard and felt good. It never yellowed or chipped and this bottle lasted me months which is rare because the one I bought of Sally's never made it a month before it was so goopy I couldn't apply it anymore. As the title says, it's a nail polish. I haven't noticed anything particularly spectacular about this particular polish over others with similar claims. It hasn't made my manicures last longer or kept my nails from chipping any more than other all-in-one or base coat/top coat in one polishes. Pros wise, it's a nice viscosity, which makes it go on easily without much mess. If you load the brush properly prior to applying to to your nail, you should be able to get a nice even coat without much hassle (which I can't say for all products in the same category). And while this may not mean much to some, I appreciate Essie's bottle design because it makes storage much easier. While other brands more aesthetic designs may look nice, unless you have dedicated shelving unit or other display for your polishes, storing them can be difficult and take up far more space than necessary. All in all, in my opinion this product isn't something to write home about, but I wouldn't phone it in either. I am a huge fan of Essie's nail products and also recommend this new All-in-One Base and Top Coat as well now. I have brittle nails that easily get stained and require a basecoat and top coat as well as a nail strengthener whenever I use nail polish. Essie's All-in-One Base/Top Coat is basically the one-stop product that I use due to convenience since it works as both a base and top coat. I do have to mention that this product has a quick expiration date and the formula and texture changes over time. It becomes thicker, less spreadable, and a bit less efficient when it becomes old. It works best when it's fresh, so it works especially well for those who consistently use nail polish in quick succession and not for those who might use it over a long duration of time. Overall, I am quite satisfied with it, but as I'm one of those lazy people who only use nail polish sporadically, a bottle of these usually lasts me quite a long time and ends up with some wasted.RDCn
I bought this in hopes it would give a better shine to the pink essie polish and base coat I already had. I've used the pink alone with two coats and 30 min dry time between coats with zero problems. It typically stayed for 3/4 days before wearing off so I thought the top coat would help it stay longer. I applied the polish exactly as before and waited a full hour after the second coat of color to apply the top coat. I touch tested the color and made sure it was fully dry before applying top coat. I applied top coat on one hand. After an hour, it still wasn't dry and when I tested it, everything was wet and the all the polish came off as if the color layer was fully wet. I draped a paper towel on the nail and all the polish stuck to the paper and came off the nail. The other hand, without top coat, was still fine a day later. I've tried again on one nail waiting for the color coats to dry overnight before applying the top coat and same effect. It's as if the top coat re-wets the color polish and just never dries. I was hesitant to purchase this because my prior experience with this brand (Ombre kit) was disappointing. But I'm delighted with the Chrome art nail kit in Chameleon. Depending on the light, nail color can look lizard green, bronze, or garnet; glitter sparkle is discreet. Every time I extend my hand to store clerks, waiters, bank tellers, etc. they stop me in mid-sentence to compliment me. I'd give 5 stars but the second kit I purchased, in Bronze, is less distinctive. (The monochromatic color scheme is pretty subtle–maybe I have to play with it more for maximum effect?). Go for the Chameleon, but make sure to cover your work surface thoroughly because the glitter flakes are whisper thin and end up *everywhere.* Otherwise, application is straightforward and simple. I was thrilled to find this product. When I finally got around to trying it, I had a difficult time opening the bottle and when I did get the top unscrewed the bottle was broken. I'm unsure if the product leaked into the cap when it was manufactured or what happened. Since it was outside of the 30 day return policy I've had to keep it upright, and in a safe place so it doesn't tip over. The brush was also all matted, so when I do use the product I use a different brush I have. Occasionally when I paint this product on I'll get a thick hardened piece of the product on my nail so have to wipe it off. The product when it does go on nice and is set with the UV light is great. I am assuming I got a bad bottle.
The top coat works really well and is one of the many products I use to make press on nails ( I am NailedByRachel on IG). This item isn’t perfect but it’s really good if you’re looking for a clean product. This top coat works best with a thin layer of polish. Wait at least 10 minutes for the first layer to dry. (I know it completely defeats the purpose, but continue reading.) Apply the top quick dry coat slowly and in a big glob (that’s how it’ll come out anyway). While I don’t find that it dries quicker than normal, I do find that it works great for longer lasting nail polish. I like some of Ella+Mila’s other products, but this particular one is giving me trouble, and I keep trying it and getting the same result. There are pros and cons. Pros: I like that it is free of seventeen harmful chemicals, including formaldehyde and formaldehyde resin. It’s also cruelty free. The product dries very quickly, which is great. The little bottle is super cute and I love their elephant branding. It’s also made in the USA which is nice because that’s where I’m from and it’s harder these days to find products actually made here. Cons: It’s supposed to be chip resistant, but they don’t mention peel resistant. Everytime I use this within seconds after drying it starts to peel up in little spots. It looks like glue all over the nail polish, and it actually causes the nail polish to peel up, even really good brands that usually stay on even without a base or top coat. It’s clear and nice in the bottle and lasts ages longer than OPI top coats, but it goes on cloudy. It’s just really not very usable, which is disappointing because of all the pros. But when it comes down to the main function it just doesn’t work so I have to give it 2 stars.

I have used Seche Vite top coat for years. I recently got a three pack from Amazon and they are awful. I’ve ordered from their store on Amazon several times before and haven’t had this big of an issue. I’ve kind of always had the shrinkage problem with Seche Vite, but now it looks worse (the lines on the side of my nails where you can see where the top coat is on top of the color). Now though it lifts up the nail polish and chips off in sheets. I make sure to not get the top coat on my skin so there isn’t a lot to lift up, but still it lifts up on the sides of my nails and around my cuticles the next day. I’m also getting more chips, again the next day. I don’t know if this is just a batch problem, but I feel like I may stay clear of Seche Vite for a while. I have been using this top coat for the past 8 years ever since I discovered it. It truly makes you drying time much shorter and makes your nail color last for at least 7days and way beyond that. At some point I did start to phase out my nail polish collection to get rid of polishes that were not at least 5 free and tried other top coats but nothing could compare. Unfortunately it is not 5 free but to me it is still worth the risk. I wear it on my acrylic nails so I guess there is less chances of negative effects? I'm hoping because I don't think I could give up this top coat and I dont think it would be as effective without the bad chemicals that prevent it from being a 5 free polish. I guess people just have to be aware of it and make the decision for themselves.helen.l
I've been using this product for the past two years and it's been my go to top coat . My nail polish will last for about 5-7 days , while using this top coat. I've used other top coats in the past but this one is the best one. Also, it provided a nice finish to your nails after polishing. Get this top coat and you won't regret it. I just wished the formula would stay the same even when you're running low on the product. I hope the company looks into this because it's my only complaint. The top coat should be usable until the bottle is empty .
