I mainly purchased this unit because I wanted a little more length at the top. When I first purchased the Mommy wig before it became super popular a few years ago it was constructed so much better. It's thin in the front with tracks sewn weirdly. I had my original to compare. They mostly look like rush jobs. I thought the Mommy II would be better and closer to the original. It has longer lengths on each side which is what I was looking for. However the cap is bigger than the regular mommy wig and I found it too hard to work with. I trimmed the edges and dyed it and it looked nice but I have a small head so I found it just too awkward. I will stick with the Mommy original for a short style. Its not as snug of a fit and I couldn't make it work. Not a bad wig if you have a medium to large head but not really for small heads. Though it depends how you wear it.C M.
Didn't Use It. I love the Mommy Wig but I've gotten it in 4/30, 4/24 and 4/27/30 No one has these colors, but I trust and used Ebonyline always. I ordered this hopping that the color would work. I love Kristen FS26/31S6. It is my go to wig. I have my bio hair but due to Chronic illness, it wears me out to fix it. Bio hair is also very very thin on top now. I would give her 5 stars… however for me, the lace does irritate the skin after a couple hours. I am a redhead with very sensitive skin. Also, I have ordered several of this same wig, and they all have a little variance to them. I have learned how wigs are made and why that is. It is not a machine producing exact replicas. Omg.. how come I did not know about this website?! I wasted hundreds of dollars over cheap wigs from nearby stores to my house😖 After finding out about this online store a couple weeks ago, I finally decided to give it a try… although pricey, but tbh- these wigs hold their value at that price. You can barely tell it’s a wig! It looks super natural! It’s super soft! I just love it like a pet! 😂 One downside I would say is that it’s very sensitive to heat… I wore it the first day, and I was baking some goodies… and I opened the oven up and hot air swooshed in my face and I heard my poor new wig crunch! Yes it’s my fault- but it makes me wonder how long it can stay before drying up and becoming a complete bird’s nest when worn on hot summer days. I own many Kristens in different colors. Really a great style and comfortable cap. I had a really hard time debating on Kristen and Jamison and now that I have both I must say I much prefer Kristen. The face framing layers are great on my round face. I am sure the permatease is mentioned in many reviews and yes it's there but it's not bad. Rather than trying to press it down if you use a wide tooth comb to lift the hair up you won't really see it. I love this wig. It looks so natural, and so comfortable on. This is the only one I ever wear. The first time I cut my hair short this was the style I had. So, when I started wearing this wig no one thought anything. They just thought I went back to my short style and love it. It is so easy to maintain. Like the straight look in front, like the layering in back; however, at the very bottom in back, the synthetic fibers or strands should have a curl and not straight effect. After wearing during the day, when look at the bottom, the strands are sticking out and have a messy look. Having hairdresser to try to correct problem in back on bottom.
The wig length and fullness were not well suited for me. The synthetic hair seemed both shorter and less thick than described, especially in the crown area where really needed to make the wig look more like site images and product description. The color was nice, and as expected. The cap fit, but barely. It was difficult to align the sides/ear tabs well enough to allow a fit good enough to make it look more like my natural hair than a wig. Additionally, the right side was shorter, and due to the fit issue I was not inclined to having it trimmed to see if that would improve the look.Sheryl

Not sure about the cap, the way it is constructed. I have many basic cap wigs and have never had this problem before, it’s not just the wefts showing it’s the holes!! Yes holes all over the top I don’t care how you style it all you see are the holes in the top. Very disappointed, the color the hair fiber was great and the fit also. Is this something new Not pleased at all, would not recommend and will definitely not wear. If this is how they are going to continue making caps will be switching to another brand.Margaret C.
Ruby is my daily go-to wig. I actually have her in three colors, two of them being the new chocolate colors. I love, love, love this wig. As Heather says, she literally is shake and go. I finger comb a little and that's it. If you are looking for a stylish pixie (the top is longer), you should try Ruby. Did I mention how much I love this wig?Denise H.

I ordered this wig the first time in the wrong color but customer service was incredibly swift and helpful in getting my exchange processed. I absolutely love this wig! It's my first one so I was worried about how it would look if it would seem real if it would be uncomfortable to wear… The look and movement is very natural the fibers look and feel real – they are not overly shiny. It does tangle at the ends easily but combs free just as easily. I'm still getting used to wearing a wig cap so it itches here and there but I think that will pass with time. I tested the believably through Facebook and no one could tell it wasn't my real hair. The fact that you can style it with heat just adds to my satisfaction. I've yet to see a stylist about trimming it to frame my face but even without the customization it looks beautiful out of the box.A. I.
The lace front is sparse — the first time I wore it people were looking at my hairline especially in the sunlight. I looked in a mirror and saw why. I took off the wig and will never wear it again. I have hair and usually like to pull it out around my hairline – I did NOT do this with Fiery– my hair was completely under the cap in the front – just as instructed to do with lace front wigs. I wanted to try Jon Renau's color 6/27 – which is pretty. I will go back to Raquel Welch — her lace fronts are not so sparse. I wear Raquel's Camera Ready before that her Upstage for several years. Both are far superior to Jon Renau's lace front/mono top. These Jon Renau wigs just don't have enough hair in the lace front or the mono top. I have been wearing wigs for 30 years. I usually trim back the lace fronts and pull out my own hair along the hairline.marie

I ordered this in the Salt Pepper Mix. I really like the color. I some what like the style. It is too long and looks like you really need a trim at the nap of your neck. The quality problem is the same problem I have seen with three Ellen Wille wigs I ordered. There are little short hairs sticking up all over the back of the crown area or in the case of Cara 100 Deluxe wig the short straight hairs were sticking out all over the top. Another complaint, is that the picture here on the website is very inaccurate. In the red haired picture, that wig has been cut in the back. Wigs should not be altered in pictures for advertising a wig. I like that Ellen Wille wigs do not have excessive permatease and the cap being an petite/average fits me better than average sizes. But these quality issues are costing me a lot of money when you have to return the wig. Unfortunately, I don't have a wig store near me where I could try on wigs.
I ordered this wig in two colors, hoping that it was a bit more wavy to curly style with natural density on top. I was kinda hoping for the love child between Ellen Wille Arrow and Girl Mono. I was going on stock pictures and youtube reviews, but in reality it has a very choppy, strongly layered cut, and no real waves or curls. I had to brush these wigs with a regular "forbidden" kind of hairbrush instead of a wide tooth comb, to make the hair come together, instead of each lock of hair being super pieced out, doing their own thing. It also has a bit of permatease on one side of the part, and that kind of increased in volume during the day that I've worn her. For my head and face shape (large), permatease isn't a good idea. So… for me personally it's not a winner. However, if you need that extra bit of volume on top, you will LOVE this! If you like choppy layers and playfulness, but not really want to go for full curls or beach waves, this is a yes! Quality of hair is amazing and the cap is super comfortable. Lace front on Ellen Wille is one of the best in the industry in my opinion.Lea S.
Wish I had bought this piece first. Wore it right out of box. Professionally cut, realistic density and very fine denier. Hairline is undetectable. With hand tying too, It’s the most natural piece I have. Mine is champagne mix, it is close in shade to RW shaded biscuit, Henry Margu 10/613GR, and maybe JR’s Palm Springs Blond? Ellen Wille’s shade is a nice blend for most any med to ash blonde or for someone whose blonde is beginning to gray. No gold really. Not shiny. Very nice length. I still have a lot of hair length and that is the only challenge with me wearing this one since it is designed to fit with very little to no hair. I am making it work tucking my hair flat under wig cap. My bio hair has thinned to point that I need more hair to look normal again. I’m a petite/med? My circumference is 21.5” , hairline to chin is 8”, and neck 3-1/2” (about). Hope this helps somebody.Cindy B.
