I love Kristen FS26/31S6. It is my go to wig. I have my bio hair but due to Chronic illness, it wears me out to fix it. Bio hair is also very very thin on top now. I would give her 5 stars… however for me, the lace does irritate the skin after a couple hours. I am a redhead with very sensitive skin. Also, I have ordered several of this same wig, and they all have a little variance to them. I have learned how wigs are made and why that is. It is not a machine producing exact replicas. So, I fuss with them until they fit right. I'm sad to see the price going up on everything. I just bought a darker color Kristen for the first time . It has less Blonde for winter. Omg.. how come I did not know about this website?! I wasted hundreds of dollars over cheap wigs from nearby stores to my house😖 After finding out about this online store a couple weeks ago, I finally decided to give it a try… although pricey, but tbh- these wigs hold their value at that price. You can barely tell it’s a wig! It looks super natural! It’s super soft! I just love it like a pet! 😂 One downside I would say is that it’s very sensitive to heat… I wore it the first day, and I was baking some goodies… and I opened the oven up and hot air swooshed in my face and I heard my poor new wig crunch! Yes it’s my fault- but it makes me wonder how long it can stay before drying up and becoming a complete bird’s nest when worn on hot summer days. Over all- I’d give it 4.5 stars… reason being is because it’s too sensitive to heat.Noor
I own many Kristens in different colors. Really a great style and comfortable cap. I had a really hard time debating on Kristen and Jamison and now that I have both I must say I much prefer Kristen. The face framing layers are great on my round face. I am sure the permatease is mentioned in many reviews and yes it's there but it's not bad. Rather than trying to press it down if you use a wide tooth comb to lift the hair up you won't really see it. Also before you started wearing wigs how often did you go around inspecting the crowns of stangers heads? Nora is a delightful fluff and go style with waves and almost curls. I got it in color 38, which is light ash brown with grey. It is supposed to be light ash brown with 25 percent grey (it seems a bit more than that;) It would be nice if Paula Young had at least one style featured in this color. The ash brown is very close to my natural color (a bit lighter) but Nora has more grey than I do personally. Nora arrived smelling absolutely wretched; I almost gagged when I opened the box. I had to wash the wig immediately. I used Paula Young shampoo. I thought I detected the (fumigant?) odor even after the wash, but when Nora dried, she no longer smelled. When I first put her on after she'd dried she was not pretty and the curls were mashed against the cap. I shook her vigorously and then took a wide tooth comb and really brought the fibers up off the cap. I wasn't rough, but I was deliberate in going over the entire wig to revive the fibers. I was able to achieve a style very similar to the catalog photo. In my photos, Nora has a more shag-like appearance, but once on she can be fluffed to the rounded silhouette of the catalog photo. Nora fits my 22.25 inch head comfortably and could be adjusted to go even a bit larger, or smaller. I find the fibers dry to the touch and just a bit coarser than my own very fine hair (although Nora's fiber does not look coarse.) Nora is comfortable to wear and an adorable style that goes with dressy as well as casual outfits. If you are prepared to spend a few moments waking Nora up after you first get her home, I think you will be pleasantly surprised at her fluff and go versatility. When this DANCE wig and COLOR ME EXQUISITE wigs arrived, upon removing them from the box they were cute, and the colors were pretty and the best thing they had going for them, However, they didn't look much like the ones the models in the pictures wore. And there is too much perma tease or "fluff" to them. They had really no style to them at all. Especially in the front, just couldn't do much with them. And didn't want to try since being careful with them is a must when trying them on. Very disappointed with these wigs. In my humble opinion they were not great and not keepers. So I am returning them and probably won't buy anymore wigs again. Sorry PY but your wigs need to be lighter weight, lay nicer, (some of us like a bit flatter style) far less perma tease or fluff, easier to wear right out of the box…Thanks anyway…Juanita
I am completely disappointed with my purchase. I ordered two of this wig because I really like the look of the style in the picture. The wigs I received will not comb into the style shown. The top is spiked and will only stand straight up and the bangs stick straight out and will not lay nicely against the forehead. I tried to tame it down with wig spray and hair gel but it won't lay down. The top hair stands straight up and the bangs stick straight out. The wig will not comb into a nice smooth pixie like the picture shows. I would not recommend a person buy this wig unless you want spiked hair that stands straight up at the top of your head and bangs that stick straight out at your forehead. The style does not resemble the picture at all !Eve

Not sure about the cap, the way it is constructed. I have many basic cap wigs and have never had this problem before, it’s not just the wefts showing it’s the holes!! Yes holes all over the top I don’t care how you style it all you see are the holes in the top. Very disappointed, the color the hair fiber was great and the fit also. Everywhere I went people were complimenting me!!! This is the silkiest soft wig ever. Im obsessed, out of the four wigs I currently own this is my fave. The cap is a little smaller than my Vanessa brand wigs, but it stayed on good still. I plan on buying other colors. I just wish they had pictures of each of them, because the swatches of the Palliah does not show that the roots and dark and blonde, which I do not like. When I saw a picture of this wig, I thought to myself "finally!" This is the style I have been looking for for a while, short, straight, not too much hair, an Ignite but with a longer back. Unfortunately, this wig has a very small cap. It cannot possibly be average size. Average size fits usually lose on my head and this wig I could barely squeeze on. Secondly, it has no lace front. I am too used by now to wearing a lace front monofilament to feel comfortable wearing a wig without. I guess this is what you get for the price. The color and the fibers were great, but I had to return mainly because the cap was far too small.Mimi
The biggest problem I found with this wig was the fit. Average was too big, but petite felt too small. I have a Goldilocks size head and I found the ear tabs on the petite were way too high on my temples, but the front and back fit ok. I bought it on sale and thought I would take a risk even if it wasn’t perfect (and it’s not). The hair itself is good quality and appears to be well made and the style is very cute. I only wish there was a better way to buy wigs other than to pay upfront for an online item, only to find out it’s not quite right. It seems if you can try on hairstyles virtually, there should be a way to try on wigs virtually. If you could upload a photo or enter the dimensions of your head and then try on virtually, you can get an idea of where the ear tabs will fall, for example or how long the bangs will be. It would save a lot of time and money on returns. Eventually, someone will invent it, but until then, buying wigs online is a crapshoot. I prefer to buy locally, however most wig shops don’t carry a very large variety and if you buy the same wig through a wig shop, it will cost double.Vee B.
-1 star for how easily it tangles and sheds; I recommend wearing the hair down over updos because of it -1 star for how chunky highlights are at the part which are unconcealable +1 star for cap and hairline In my pics, I have not plucked the hairline, but I have straightened the wig and rearranged the part. The cap on this wig is definitely better quality than my cheaper amazon wigs (I like that it has velcro straps), but the hair itself both tangles and comes out more easily than my cheapy $30-50 wigs, which is unfortunate. I'd recommend not even bothering to try to do a half updo with this wig, which I'm personally disappointed by but that's okay, it looks good down. The lace came pre-cut, not sure if it was supposed to, but it fits perfectly and blends right into my pale skin, which is great. Hairline is great, pretty natural looking. I ordered the color FS4/33/30A Midnight Cocoa – the highlights are so chunky right up into the part (see pics). Doesn't matter which way you part it, you have giant stripes in your hair with this color (not too noticeable from straight on or from the side but I disapprove still haha). So I would NOT recommend the colors with highlights like this one, just get a solid color. So overall, I wish I got a different color, but that's on me. This wig looks amazing out of the box! The curls are perfect, the color options are great, and it looks very natural. Most people don't even realize I'm wearing a wig unless they know to look for it. For weeks, it will look fantastic (I get more compliments than I did when I had bio hair). However, the hair is extremely long and fine so it does tend to become frizzy quickly. You can maintain the hair with careful washing, storage and a handheld streamer to help uncurl the frizz. Time will take it's toll though. This is a tough wig to wear as an everyday wig unless you want to replace it fairly often or you have a lot of skill with keeping a wig looking it's best.Kayla C.
I took advantage of the 30% sale during the Memorial Day weekend to purchase this absolutely stunning wig! I have worn synthetics for almost a year now and wanted real hear that is full and luscious. Do not hesitate to invest in yourself with the Blake. I got the large. The hair is like a waterfall, silky, and smooth. I got the Pralines and cream because I like blond but not the bleach blond fake color. I am in love with the hair!
Sarah is the perfect wavy wig for about any hair style. Great for a pony tail, messy bun, low bun. Of course when one is styling Sarah, only use a hair elastic for heavy hair and when taking it out, do not pull the elastic through the hair…work the hair out carefully from the elastic. Any pulling on the hair may break the structure and turn frizzy. Once the hair is damaged, there is no going back. As far as the comparison……(1) 100% better than High Octane by Raquel Welch; (2) better than Estetica's new long beach wavy wig; and 200% better than Ellen Wille's Lola. I got Lola and that wig is a hot mess…looks like a bad perm and that surprises me because EW puts out a good quality wig. I actually have 2 Sarah's now..one in Shaded Praline & Cream and the other in Shaded Praline. That's my review.

But, when I am wearing it, I find that the lower density looks extremely natural and more realistic than the overly thick human hair wigs I have had in the past. The hair is very smooth and you can run your fingers right through it. I had the Kim by Jon Reneau which has extremely sick denier. I have this bravo wig in the color R 11 S. It looks extremely realistic as though my hair had been professionally highlighted. I also find the lace front to be the best I have ever worn. The netting is so fine that I truly can barely see it. This is the first wig I have on where I do not feel the need to cut the lace. Although some may not like the thin density for the shorter length, I find it perfect for every day wear. I was looking for a wig that was short enough to be comfortably worn every day easy to tuck behind the ears, yet long enough to be pulled back out of my face. Also I would like to add that this week does not shed at all so I am expecting it to last quite a while.I gave this four stars only because I do wish there was slightly more hair in the lower back region of the cap.Patricia D.
I‘m a huge Raquel Welch wigs fan, it’s my favorite brand. And I had my eyes on this style for a while and think the stock photo looks fabulous. But it’s my first and last style in regular synthetic. I love the True2Life HD fibers by Raquel Welch, they look and feel like human hair. But these are just extremely shiny and it has a lot of hair! The color Glazed Sand is really nice and the lace front on this style is impeccable, and as this was my first unrooted color, it’s even better and more undetectable than the rooted colors. The most natural looking wig I have ever purchased. A friend who knows I wear wigs, asked if she was seeing my bio hair. I was wearing hand tied Center Stage with the lovely lace front when she sat across from me at a restaurant that day. Nothing more needs to be written to explain the 5 stars. Center Stage has the most natural looking 'part' and believable density. I currently have this in 2 different but similar colors. I am shocked to see negative reviews. I wore this wig previously in 1488A. I was extremely pleased. I decided to try it in 1426A for change of color and ordered two. The wigs I received bore no resemblance to the previous Sensational. No curl or waves around face whatsoever. I am wearing one, as I threw away my old one, expecting the same appearance of the new ones. The 2 wigs I received did not match the picture. They were both very curly and fussy. Since the curl is heat set there would be no way to style it to match the picture. I returned them the next day and still have not seen a refund on my card. This style was the least curly in size large. So I am back to using the average size wig I got a couple years ago that gives me a headache. And that style is no longer available. Not sure what demographic you design your product line for, it can't be young as the young go for straight hair, and few women my age (81) like the fussy styles you have in abundance.Dorothy
Whenever I need a wig, usually a wiglet I go to Paula Young to find what I want. I use the wiglets mostly, I’m 81 and my hair is pure white, and thin. Yesterday I went to the bank, and sat and talked to one of the staff. When I left, several people came up to me and said I was beautiful, my skin, my hair. I was amazed. I love this wig. I wanted something super casual and wearable, and this is perfect. You can puff it up and add volume, or smooth it down for a more streamlined profile. I love the center part, and the curtain bangs stay out of my face without having to pin them back. Rootbeer Float Blonde is my new favorite, mostly because Butterbeer has a strange colored root…sort of burgundy. This is very similar but much more of an ash base. They are both beautiful, but I find this color a little more natural looking. I am all about natural looking wigs. If you want something for your jeans and sweatshirt days, this is it. I have been a wearer of wigs and hair pieces all my life…partly because I like to change my look but mainly because my natural hair is the consistency of steel wool. And to make matters worse, I started losing my hair over 15 years ago so it's been very important to me to find wigs that not only are affordable but also look realistic. And that's where things get difficult. Or at least until now. I had seen pictures for the Shakerato wig by BelleTress and I couldn't get over how natural it looked. I've always wanted to try a lace front but thought it would be too complicated to wear – I thought all lace front wigs had to be glued down. That is not the case with this wig. The thin lace front blends seamlessly into my own skin and gives the illusion of hair sprouting from my own forehead which is something I have not seen in many years. I chose the darkest color, Coffee without cream, and even though it is dark it still manages to be multi-dimensional with just the slightest variants of different shades of dark browns. And in addition to the beautiful and rich color, the wig is so lightweight that within minutes of putting it on I had forgotten that I was wearing a wig. I’ve worn wigs for 4 years now and have an extensive collection. I’ve purchased multiple Belle Tress wigs because I do love the coconut blonde color for summer (pictures attached) and feel for the price you get a decent wig with an absolutely gorgeous lace front. I put the Lady Latte wig on and loved it immediately, so I removed the tags and wore her to work after a quick styling. It was a few hours later that I realized there were multiple strands of hair poking out of the left side of the wig. I have never experienced this before on any wig I’ve owned. I literally had to take scissors and cut those strands off at the cap. There was a crease imbedded into an entire weft with no way to fix or style the wig to cover the strands that were sticking out. This is a light density wig with no room for this kind of defect. My advice to anyone is to very carefully look at ALL the wefts on your wigs to ensure there are no weirds kinks that are creased into the strands of hair!Jill T.

This one did catch me by surprise. I always had the question: what if my Voltage was wavy or curly. This just hits that spot I crave of curls and wave all in a cute pixie style. If I don't feel like that, I simply smooth them down. It's easy to finger style, it's a shake and go, my favorite kind of hair. I am not as fond of the feel of the fibers as some of the other manufactures, but I don't feel that is worth taking a point off for. I am pleased with my purchase of the Angelina synthetic wig. The color is vanilla cream. The wig fits good and has good coverage on the top, sides and back. I would recommend this wig for purchase. Not my favorite. In all due fairness, the color Pine Cone was too dark for my skin tone, and the wig is shorter then I prefer. So, basically I should have returned Kylie since I bought a wig that isn’t particularly flattering for me. However, even my husband (who rarely comments on my wigs), commented he felt the wig looked “wiggy”. I’ll be wearing this wig with a baseball cap when I go on my daily walks.
