You buy something like this to enhance or for costume wear. In my honest opinion, this is not realistic as real hair and will look like a wig. My biggest negative point would be that if you comb through the tangles (it does tangle easily), a good amount of hair does come off. Maybe because it's new, I do not know. The other minor thing, you can't really shape the wig at all, but I didn't expect it would do this anyway. I like to dress up and mainly bought this because I have natural, very long dark hair and wanted to try "red" without dyeing my hair. I do think this is an all around nice wig and it was a great price..included a wig cap and comb. But it always was a one time purchase for me and I never expected this to be or look like the real thing. I got it for when I dress up in something really sexy and want to be a redhead! 😉 For that, it works!! I only review this way for those who think this may be a passable or realistic look. Bought this piece because of the reviews online. They were pretty spot on so far. The curls are very bouncy, pretty, and full. I have only worn her once and received lots of compliments. My only qualm is the amount of hair. I had to do a little thinning before I felt it looked good. But even though there is a lot of hair, the piece is very light weight which has been true to other reviews. I don't use the combs but it has ample head room, big head friendly; and comes with a long comb up front and a smaller one in back along with two adjustable straps, pretty standard these days. I didn't do much fluffing of the curls because one that I cut out, I pulled it loose and separated it. The bouncy curl really pulled out to a loose wave. I won't mind that after a few more wears. The color was spot on to my hair color. I bought a #2. After wearing the half wig, I wish I had gotten the full wig instead. I just think the curls, after they drop or are pulled out, will be nicer on the full wig. It was a great purchase thus far and I do recommend it especially for those that have the creativity to do many styles with a half wig. I actually purchased some #2 braid hair, braided a long section, then used it as a braided head band over the front of the piece. Hopefully I can get some good, long wear out of is but that is TBD. This is a great beginners lace front wig! I am not a wig wearer but saw this on an IG page and tried for moths to order and finally caught it in stock! It is easy to install and looks very similar to my natural hair blown out and flat ironed just fuller which is why I like it! The wig cap is large so it will fit larger heads, which is bit of a con for me. I wig horizontally is too large or too long for my head so the lace on each side covers my ears. (I don't believe I have a small head). If I tuck it behind it is rather uncomfortable even after adjusting the clips and band adjuster inside the cap. I tried curling the hair at 400 degrees and it straightened it instead, could be user error though. Overall, the wig looks and feels great for the price. I'm not sure if the wig could be washed but for the price it may not be worth washing when you can just buy a new one! It is not an everyday wig if you are a newbie at wearing wigs. My mom gave Solana to me, because she wasn’t really feeling the color on her. Freetress Ramona hasn't been on the market for very long but it has already become a cult classic, and for good reason. The hairline is beautiful and undetectable, blends seamlessly with almost no effort. You can even wear it straight back and it looks amazing. Be careful not to cut too much lace off. I'm not a fan of the super bumped ends but a few wears and a couple washes should take care of that. Also a note on the #4 color, it's darker than Freetress' other #4 wigs. This wig is so wonderful! I literally was able to cut the extra lace off and put it on! It laid flat. The hair part looks so natural, no need for makeup unless you’d prefer a darker look. The lay of the hair is “butta” so smooth. The color is amazing, it matches so well with my skin tone. The wig has three clips; one on both sides and one in the back. The only drawback for me is it does not have a band to add more stay security. My head is a bit small, so I need that extra support. This wig turned so many heads. I was even told “I’m used to being Becky with the good hair, now I can’t because of your new look!” I took it as a compliment. Such a good wig, I’m buying it again!Sharron M.
I originally ordered this because of a fantastic YouTube review . It didn’t live up to my expectations. Pros the hair is soft , nice and I’ve received so many compliments. It’s so long too !! I’m 5’8” and it went past my waist. It looks natural and can get it wet for the wet look with eco style gel ,but that style doesn’t last long. Cons it tangles SO MUCH not to the point where I can’t wear it but I know it’s going to be a daily issue if I wear it everyday. I wish the lace was longer because it barely reached my ears despite it being “ big head friendly.”Jay

first off shipping took 5 days which isn’t bad at all. i ordered on monday & it came on friday 🙂 it originally said thursday but that doesn’t really matter to me. the wig is super soft especially when i took it right out of the packaging. BEWARE IT WAS TIGHT ON MY HEAD but i don’t mind because my head is pretty small. i brushed it everyday and very minimal shedding, barley any lol. once i put it on, it got a little tangly but that’s cause i didn’t really brush it when i had it on. the lace was to dark for my skin colour but i didn’t really mind it (i didn’t want to bleach the lace) . i’m probably going to dye it now since i got it in “colour me” !! overall recommend. follow my tiktok @dimarcolid to see more videos with this unit on 🙂lidia
When I received her she was soft about a half inch of lace front and a half an inch lace part. The first day I wore it, it had was a bit tangled. (But I did put of lot of stiffening products to be fair) I put the ends of the hair in boiling hot water with leave in conditioner to soften the ends worked well. She lays very flat and melts well. She sheds when combing through but usually not while wearing. She frizzes but I just put a tiny drop of oil on the ends. The color was amazing I have neon orange. She’s a steal! And i plan on getting the purple one next. Love love love her.Hairbaby
It's very tight and I annoyingly have to cornrow and deal with humpage, but I love this color on my yellow gold skin. Some black polish, my favorite tee, and I am good to go. Sheds some but not extremely. (that doesnt bother me so no stars lost, if anything i just dislike how tight it is and that I can't throw on and go without laying my hair flat flat flat.Brittani T.

Ordered this for a Naraku cosplay since Inuyasha is experiencing a bit of a Renaissance. This wig is very thick, and VERY soft. I almost feel bad that I’m going to have to rough it up a bit to get the texture I need because it’s so pretty. The skin top covers a large margin of the front/fringe area and it also has wefts along the underside of the front so if you part the fringe it doesn’t do that thing where you can see the cap through the bangs. The wig is also thick enough that I was able to experiment with pulling it into a partial ponytail, but the hair is very heavy so you need a strong elastic tie to really keep it in place. All in all I’m very pleased and it shipped to me in amazing time considering the lockdown. Love it!Samael H

I have this wig in the colour R6/28 F which is chestnut brown with red frost. I would say that the highlights look more blond/golden than I expected but looks good either way since they are evenly divided throughout. The fibers are smooth with fine density. A little shiny, but not too much. The wig is cut in layers that gives a lift to the face and a feminine shape. The length is practical with the longest locks in front and short hair in the neck. It would be a good to idea to ruffle the middle part a bit as the zigzag middle part may seem a little too perfect. I generally like that the hair color is not in one color/solid as it can make it clearer that it is a wig by giving a clearer contrast to the face – especially with light skin tone. The lace front presses a little into the forehead and there could have been a larger amount of hair. If you are completely bare for your own hair, then this lace front can give away that it isn’t your own hair line – but then again, this can be improved by changing the middle parting. The cap is comfortable. Overall good value and a safe choice straight out of the box.Kristin
my new Avalon wig is a disappointment. I loved it when I first got it, but she tangles constantly. It's much more excessive than the normal tangle. I noticed the density is lighter than the Avalon from a few years ago. I'm not sure if they changed the fiber itself, or if I got a dud. The nape on most wigs tangle and you have to use the wide tooth comb and detangling spray throughout the day. This wig is in a constant state of matting and tangles at the nape, and even the outside portion of the sides and back that do not touch clothes are just constantly tangling, the fibers are also looking frizzy very quickly, not something that usually happens on the parts of the synthetic wigs that don't come in contact with clothes. I can't return it, I already cut out the tags and adjusters, I am just surprised that this is happening this quickly on this wig. I know my Finns in Americano and Toffee Latte wore out at the bottom sooner than the normal colors, I figured it was due to the hand painted colors at the end, when I had my MacKenzie in 8/12 those fibers lasted. That's why I chose a regular color on Avalon I figured it would have been better than the coffee collection colors. But this wig is not holding up. I did at the suggestion of Amy @ wigstudio1 try a conditioning treatment, I used the Estetica conditioner and the Bamboo Silicon and the fibers still look matted, frizzy and almost like the fibers were razored. I've only had this wig less than 2 weeks. Most synthetics last substantially longer for months and years.cecelia g.
I had originally purchased Orchid in Iced Mocha, but that color was on back order until the end of May, so I went with Caramel Kiss. It’s not the perfect color for me, as I prefer cooler tones, but she’s absolutely STUNNING! The only thing I really struggle with about the color is the one harsh and chunky blonde streak towards the front. Everywhere else, the colors are beautifully and lightly streaked and blend very well. I lean more to a petite size, so she does shift if I don’t use “It Stays,” even with tightening the straps. I also wish the permatease wasn’t so thick at the temples. Her movement is flawless and she looks very natural. Although, the knotting at the hairline is a bit thick and very dark. I did carefully pluck a little and feel better about the lace front, now. The length is perfect for me as it’s the length I’m used to wearing with my bio hair (until I recently cut it to fit better under wigs). She’s my first wig, with Heat by Jon Renau being my second. So, we’re still getting acquainted. But, the more I reach for her, the more comfortable I’m becoming wearing her. I’ve been suffering hair loss for ten years since having a radical hysterectomy due to uterine cancer. So, to have a thick and healthy head of hair, via wigs, has been a wonderful experience. It is an adjustment, but I know it will get easier and feel more normal the more I wear her.Cherie R.

The hair feel very soft, the colors blend beautifully. It comes with a good amount of baby hair, however, I would add more for my personal liking. It does not shred too much. The length is perfect!! This is a lightweight unit and felt a bit odd because I am not used to these kinds of units. The wig came with curl formers but I had to restyle one side of my wig because the curl formers did not help much.Sofia C.
Anyone who expects the world from a $30 synthetic wig is crazy, this wig is worth the price for a quick look, the curls are amazing as long as you don’t try to comb to much (don’t treat it like real hair basically) and it looks great!
