I wear my Luxy ponytail almost every day and I have it in a few colors – it's a game changer!! I highly recommend getting the gravity hair ties because they make such a big difference when you wear the ponytail. They really perk it up and help the ponytail hook on better because the trick to wearing any ponytail (no matter the brand) you need to really make sure your ponytail doesn't move around much at the base. I think Luxy recommends that somewhere on their website, too. The ties are comparable to an invisibobble but so much more comfortable. Sandy Brown is very close to Ash Brown (I'd say slightly lighter and lightens up more in the sunlight). I find it's more ashy with subtle grey undertones. When you apply the ponytail I recommend that you secure the velcro really tightly around your natural ponytail (I typically like doing a bun so that the ponytail sits up higher like Ariana Grande and so my short hair doesn't show through). After I secure the velcro down I then unstick it and make small adjustments by pulling the base even tighter. When I wrap the strand around the velcro after it is fastened, I make sure to really pull it tightly around – you should be able to wrap it about 2-3 times before you bobby pin it down. I've worn it 8+ hours several times a week and I can't get over how quickly I can put it on to look put together.Aleksandra M.
I just recently dyed my hair a reddish color and needed extensions to match. Luxy is the only brand I could find with this red in balayage. Prior to purchasing I utilized their color match tool online. I was impressed to receive my hair in the mail and it be perfect color match. I have the ponytail and seamless hair extensions 20” for over a month. I absolutely love them. The only downfall I can find is that the hair clumps up / tangles after wearing for a few hour. This behavior of the hair can make the hair appear unatural. I have to detangle and it easily does so but I wish I didn’t have to do this as this hair is new. I have had experiences with other brands where the hair does not do this and if it does it’s after a year or two of wear. I will continue to use this hair and more recently purchased the bun. I hope Luxy can address this concern in the near future.CJ
This is the 3rd one I’ve purchased & usually loveee it but this one didn’t match the previous ones. I liked the thickness & length of the ponytail but The wrap-around hair piece was way too thick. It doesn’t blend well & looks a bit ridiculous if used as directed. The wrap around piece is much thicker compared to previous orders. Thankfully I’m able to section it off and use 1/3 of it to wrap around the ponytail & hide the remaining part into the ponytail. It took some practice and looks good enough… but definitely took some time to figure out. However on the plus side, it will probably help with making it last longer since the wrap around hair is usually the most prone to damage & breakage. In general— I’d recommend getting the 16in vs the 20in. The 16in is more natural looking & easier to use for everyday. The 20in is less natural looking at first but with some adjustments can look just as natural.Morgan L.

Additionally the back piece is huge and doesn’t sit on the back of my head right. It feel like a large hat is fallIng off my head in the back. Even when I put my ponytail to the front of my head, the back piece feels so big and baggy. I just wear the ponytail and not the back piece. I purchased in color 1 which is super black and wore with a headband since my edges are not super black (1b is more natural black). These up/down 4-n-1’s are real convenient. Love the texture of UD11…reminds me of a relaxer or press blowout – it’s real soft with body and fullness, but lightweight with a realistic sheen. When I wear the 1b color people think it’s all my hair. I’m trying the burgundy and copper colors to see if I like as much as the darker tones. Minimal shedding typical for synthetic hair. The wrap ponytail has combs, but I added small self-adhesive velcro tabs to keep it extra secure. This site had the lowest price +discounts…it’s worth adding to your collection!Erica B.
