I recently received my Becky, and was so disappointed. The color was beautiful, but the hair was wild and straight. It looked like it had been harshly brushed out, and was very dry. I shook it , sprayed it with PY conditioner, but had to cut some bangs and wear it anyway, as I needed to return the beautiful, long Gayle, as it was too long and young looking for me at 74. I have worn PY wigs for many years due to thinning hair, and have only had a few disappointments, but lately have had with problems. I tried washing the Becky in PY shampoo, and conditioner , but the hair remained the same.Judy

I watched many reviews on this wig on YouTube and it looked too good to be true. Well let me tell you, this is the best synthetic blend wig that I have ever purchased. The invisible lace is easily customizable with the right tone wig cap or the foundation method. The realistic hair line that comes pre plucked is done so well people cant beleive its a wig! The parting space is amazing, wide and deep giving you so many versatile looks while remaining realistic. If I can point out any cons it would be that you will have to secure the ear tabs down otherwise they will lift up whenever you flip your hair or the wind blows. The ear tabs do actually come ear to ear. The hair tends to easily get tangles as it is a curly synthetic but nothing you cant manage. I recommend treating each ringlet grouping as a stand slone and comb through one at a time, it really comes out beautifully and can look brand new every time. I also find that a little hair product helps keep the frizz at bay. Other than that this wig is top notch and can definitely last you a while with proper care. I get so many compliments and "thats a wig" comments that even with the slight cons it still gets a 5 star rating. I will be ordering this wig again!Angel W.

After I received my order it was apparent that the color was just not a good one for me. I had ordered two wigs, both the same color and found that in person they were just very fake and not a natural look at all. I sent them back and then after reading the instruction found that over half the amount I paid for them was to be deducted due to the various charges they put on returns. I am very upset at this change in policy and cannot see myself using Paula Young Wigs in the future. I have been a faithful customer for over 15 years, so sorry, not anymore.Carol
A few months ago, I ordered the "Alex" wig. I love it! I ordered a second one so that I would always have it ready. While the first one was – and stil is – perfect, the second one is straggly and sloppy looking. When I first took it out of the box and followed directions (shaking, etc,) it looked ok. I put it aside til I could get a styrofoam head. Once I put it on that, it showed itself. I cannot wear it. I have not worn it. Unfortunately, I did take the tag off when I thought it was going to be ok. Please take it back and send me one that looks like the first one.Rosemary
I received the wig in a couple of weeks of ordering..I tried it on but it kept slipping off my head. The velcro tapes were set to the tightest setting. I took the wig to my hairdresser thinking it should be cut as the style was so weird.. She told me to wash it first in fairly hot water so some of the crushing from shipping would come out.. Seriously after wearing it for 30 seconds it looked like I was a cone head!! The inside just above the bangs there is a circle of heavy knit capping.. Not the stretch lace like the rest of the wig liner is made from…This is advertised as a whisper lite wig?…My head dripped with sweat in a few minutes as it just does not breathe the same as my other wigs? My hairdresser suggested it not be cut but to somehow get it made smaller. I have Alopecia so have bought and worn wigs for some years. I have always had wigs come with a stretchy lace type liner with metal adjustable clips on the elastic straps. I live in Canada so not an option to return the wig with the high postage, tax paid and the exchange rate…. So I bought some crazy glue to cinch up the elastic tapes making them shorter.. that was a total mess as the glue did not adhere the same as my other many wigs have done when the elastic stretched out.. I then pinched the material together to sew it on each side to tighten to fit my head.. I have always worn an average size wig… This one with that hard thick cone or dome inside was something else!!! Why did I take the added expense of a hairdresser as well as buying the glue?? The color of the wig and the style now that I have the cap fitting properly suits me to no end!! I look stunning in it and it looks like my own hair. My hairdresser says it does not look at all like a wig….So I made all of these compromises! I suggest that they make this Wig in all sizes so we don't have to glue or sew our fingers trying to make them smaller than Average. I suggest that the Deluxe Soft Touch Grip be sold in a smaller size as wellBrenda

Beautiful wig in GL14/22SS. This blonde shade is perfect for my natural brunette skin tone (light to medium neutral leaning toward warm). It's not too warm, nor is it too cool, and it doesn't wash me out. I discovered Gabor recently and love the hairline and softly shaded roots of the shaded shades. The hair is soft and fine. This is a cute, lightweight pixie. She's my first experience with a lace front wig, which I find to be a little scratchy but very realistic-looking. The wig has significant permatease, but I can very easily smooth her down somewhat using just my fingers – I imagine I could get her even flatter with a good styling creme. Alternatively, if you want to spike her up, she'll go pretty high with a good shake and some teasing. I also appreciate that the bangs aren't super-long and I don't need to trim them. Although I've never tried Raquel Welch's "Winner," Serving Style seems similar to the basic (non-Elite) version of that wig, with the addition of a lace front for off-the-face styling versatility. I purchased this wig in the honey pecan. I’m a natural dark brunette plus size 23 inch head and this average fit me just fine. The cap is comfortable, natural, soft, and has a nice stretch. Rooting and highlighting is very natural spot on. To keep it out of my eyes, I just use a little clip which makes it look even cuter to put it back. This is a great wig if you want hair to stay out of your face in the summer when it’s hot or while you are busy doing things. I haven’t tried the sweet talk luxury but this one feels so nice I wouldn’t even be inclined to try unless it’s just for fun. Perfect color if you’re a brunette and you want to start going lighter and have it look natural. Will put a review on YouTube under “it’s a wonderful wig” since I love this so much. I ordered the exclusive color Peppermint in Silver Needle. There weren't any reviews of this color anywhere so I was pretty nervous. However, it turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. A natural/lower density, medium length wig with lightweight razor cut layers with a lifelike part. This color is an icy blended blonde with a neutral medium brown shadow root. The wig is rooted all over with longer roots at the nape. It seriously looks professionally done and has a gorgeous piece-y look due to the roots underneath. The lace comes precut and has a natural pre-plucked hairline and part. This wig parts from the left side and isn't free parting due to the placement of the wefts, but there is some leeway to change it. Unlike the promo photo, there is a somewhat defined part about 2-3" long. The back is open wefted so it's ventilated. The natural lower density of the hair, however, does NOT reveal the wefts like some other blonde wigs. This wig is very well constructed and a great value for what you get.
This wig is different than any others I’ve ever had. It took me a long time using steam, and product to get it not to stand straight up in the front. It is finally allowing me to bring a little of it down into a side bang without poking out and I can get the rest of the top to stay back. The hair fiber is far from shiny which is a dead give away for a wig so that is good, but it actually looks like dried out hair. The color and bit of curl are new to me too, the bulk as well, I have thinned it a little, but that is why I wanted to try something different. I think it looks like real hair although it is my least favorite lace front I have ever owned. Along the right temple side of my head, the edge of the wig has a thick seam so I need to make sure the hair is laying down rather than back right there. I will try to add a photo later.Jeri S
I love Belle Tress wigs. However, I’m finding that the curly HF fibers in this line are different from style to style. I tried Vienna Roast in Sugar Cookie with Hazelnut but I usually buy Butterbeer Blonde so the color didn’t really work for me. The fibers are fantastic though and it’s very lightweight. It’s a great length. I also have Caliente and it just tangles so much that I’ve almost given up. My favorite curly wig so far in this collection is Kona—great curls, yet soft and not very prone to tangling.

this is the second sf2216 wig I ordered to replace the first one and neither on look like is pictured on your site. There is not any blonde or white highlights in either wig. I kept the second one since I am in chemo and needed one for my bald head. Very disappointed that it wasn't as picture because the wig is very nice otherwise.carolyn

I have bought this wig on two other occasions. They were excellent upon arrival. This latest one I just received last week, looks and feels used! I am very disappointed.
